This week is actually like an opportunity for Dortmund to take the lead in the standings. However it depends on whether Bayern Munich really lost points against Union Berlin. On paper Bayern Munich are very highly favoured of course. But we shouldn't look at only this before betting of course. Union Berlin are a quite dangerous team actually. They stole one point from Bayern Munich in this season already. Maybe this match is going to be in Allianz Arena but Bayern Munich are an unpredictable team as well.

We have witnessed Bayern Munich losing points in very unexpected matches. Hence I don't think anything is guaranteed here either. I'm thinking of betting on both teams to score for this one.

The first half in the Liverpool v Real Madrid match was just incredible. Especially after watching that boring PSG v Bayern Munich match previously, this is like a medicine to me.     Yes maybe Liverpool were the better starting team but everything changed its direction so quickly as well. Real Madrid scored two goals in no time and there is a 2-2 tie now. The goalkeepers are having a nightmarish night now that's for sure. Both of them made big mistakes which led to conceding goals easily.

Things are very well for Real Madrid now as long as they get at least a draw. But it doesn't feel like the score would stay as the current one in the second half. Because after it became 2-2 we watched both teams wasting big chances. Especially Liverpool got very close to scoring the third goal one time but first Carvajal then Militao did a great work by clearing the ball.

Milan are favoured to beat Atalanta for their match ahead in five days. Playing the match in San Siro is an advantage for Milan of course. But I still have doubts about their defending style especially. There are still visible weaknesses in their defense. We saw it in the Monza match as well even though Milan won the match. If they really can't figure out a way to fix their defensive issues yet then they should focus on increasing the number of goals they score in a match.

You know how much drop they have in their scoring performance as well. They won their last two matches maybe but both of them ended 1-0. I hope to see Milan being more productive against Atalanta and getting a win.

Arsenal took a deep breath by getting a very important win against Aston Villa. It was important because this helped them take the lead from Manchester City once again. Next time they are playing a match away against Leicester. I believe this is actually a more comfortable match than the one against Aston Villa on paper. But things don't always happen according to paper of course. The embarrassing loss by Tottenham against Leicester away is a good example for that.

However I don't think they can do the same or even get a point from Arsenal. Arsenal players must have improved their morale at a high rate now. They should fully focus on not losing the lead by making simple point losses from now on.

It was really crucial for Marseille to get a win on the week PSG did the same. Because they kept the five-point gap with PSG just before the match between these teams. Actually this match against Toulouse would have turned to a nightmare for Marseille as well. Because after scoring the first goal very early in the match Toulouse got another critical opportunity to benefit from in the 18th minute already. But Marseille goalkeeper Lopez did an incredible work there by saving 2 shots in a row with great reflexes.

If Toulouse were able to make it 2-0 then maybe we were going to watch a much more different match. The reason why I mentioned this incident is to emphasize the weaknesses in Marseille in this match. They should get better until facing PSG.

Boehly is backing Potter for now maybe but I don't think this will go on for a very long time. I think a similar scenario to Barcelona had between Laporta and Koeman can happen in the summer. You might remember that Laporta also supported Koeman despite the bad results. But not much time later he decided to part ways with him and brought Xavi in his place. I think Potter will also be sacked by Chelsea if the results don't improve too much in the remaining matches.

Potter made a statement like he wasn't the real problem in this. But if we still don't see any improvement until the end of the season then I'm afraid he will also have a big contribution to this mess.

There is a lovely match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in five days. It is in Santiago Bernabeu which makes things more difficult for Atletico Madrid side. To tell the truth I see Real Madrid having a huge chance to win this match. They did it in Metropolitano Stadium by 2-1 as you know. They should be able to play even more effective in a home match. Maybe some people will underline the fact that Atletico Madrid haven't been losing for many weeks in the league. However I still don't think this will be a big hindrance for Real Madrid to get what they want.

Real Madrid have a very challenging Champions League match against Liverpool first of course. If they get an advantageous result there then I guess they would be even more motivated to defeat Atletico Madrid here. They had better win this as well to maintain the gap with the leader at worst.

I think Upamecano's red card was really unnecessary and amateurish. I mean there was no reason for leaving his team with 10 players at the beginning of the match. He knew that it was a challenge that deserved red card but he still did it anyway. After this incident Bayern Munich started to give big openings to their opponent in defense of course. Gladbach attackers were so willing to take advantage of them. All of the goals came due to big spaces in the defense area.

Bayern Munich's second goal came due to a mistake in Gladbach defense which gave them hope. But there wasn't much time left for a comeback I'm afraid.

Chelsea are still in a bad condition now. I mean they are still unable to make some improvements in their form. There are some positive things in their attacking side but this still doesn't help them win a match. They got a loss against Dortmund the last time as you know despite their playing an effective attacking game. They just wasted two absolute goal chances during the match. They need to start from somewhere for maintaining a winning streak and they had better be fast.

We have already got past the half of the season. Their chance of qualifying for any European tournament is dimishing day by day. Their next matchup is against Southampton in Stamford Bridge. I see this as a must-win match for Chelsea. Southampton are the worst team on paper as they are at the last position.

Milan have a Monza match ahead in the league. Normally it should be a free win for Milan but they are still not a credible team on one hand. Their victory against Tottenham should be some boost to their morale. But there are still visible weaknesses especially in their defending style. Plus they need to be more productive in the attacking line. They are not one of the scorer teams of the league currently. Actually they have just the attackers to score multiple goals in a match.

I think it should be due to having some mental issues. The players are still having issues with concentrating on their match throughout it. Especially their defenders are making simple mistakes just because of that. I hope we can see them beating Monza. Monza have been unbeatable for weeks hence it might be difficult for Milan to do this job.

PSG are returning to the Ligue 1 as wounded after the loss in the Champions League. Maybe this can demoralize the players a little but I still believe in them to focus on the match versus Lille in two days. It is another match in Parc des Princes and I think they will see this one as a match to make up for the recent loss. It wouldn't still be enough for making up for it fully though as long as they don't beat Bayern Munich in the second leg. But at least winning this one would help them secure the gap with Marseille.

Lille have made a big progress after a bad start to the season. They are coming here with a two-match winning streak as well. But I still don't see a Lille that is even near their level in the season they made it to the league title. I think PSG will play with at least two players in the trio in this and beat them nicely.

To tell the truth I can't say Barcelona were bad against Manchester United. They also found so many goal opportunities to score and they were even the first team to score in the match. But the answers came too quick by Manchester United later on. Rashford's goal really deserved appreciation. Because he actually lost a good angle to score but he managed to do it anyway. The second goal was unlucky for Barcelona as Kounde targeted his own goal while trying to clear the ball.

Raphinha still saved a 2-2 result for his team anyway and I think there is nothing ended yet. I know how much hard Barcelona's work will be in Old Trafford. But they need to stay stronger there to have a chance for next stage.

I won't be surprised if see Galtier being sacked at the end of the season. I mean it will depend on whether they will say goodbye to the Champions League early or not. But it looks like they are quite likely to experience this sadness in this stage already. Losing the match in France can turn to a nightmare for them in the Allianz Arena. But if PSG have Mbappe, Messi and Neymar all on the field from the beginning of the second leg to the end then there is still hope for them.

Germans wouldn't give up that easy for sure. They would like to avenge their elimination by PSG in the past as well. But Galtier had better prepare with a better strategy next time. Otherwise I don't expect to see him in his seat in the team by next season.

Next week the most striking matchup seems to be like Liverpool v Real Madrid. Liverpool are the favourite side for taking the victory here but I wouldn't trust them fully now. Because they are still a quite unbalanced team. I must admit that there were positive things in the match against Everton. It has been a long time since we saw them that much effective in scoring goals. But there is a big question mark about whether they can maintain this effort against Real Madrid as well.

The match is in Anfield maybe but it doesn't matter where it is played in this kind of big matches actually. Real Madrid are much different in the Champions League which is why they have dominated the tournament most of the time. Considering Liverpool's current condition I wouldn't be surprised to see a draw at the end of this leg.

I think Barcelona's performance against Manchester United today was a proof of how much more they care about the La Liga title compared to the Europa League one.

Because they had really serious issues about having the control in their hands during the match. This just helped Manchester United come more to their goal and the final result was 2-2. With this performance level I don't have much faith in Barcelona to eliminate them. Maybe nothing has finished but their job is going to be very difficult in Old Trafford. Manchester United defeated Manchester City there and they can do it against Barcelona as well I believe. Actually it would be nice for Barcelona to focus on not only the La Liga because the Europa League also would be helpful for improving their financial status more.

I think Juventus' time will come in the future but it is really difficult to tell when for now. First they will need to get rid of the current problems about the team. If they don't get another punishment then they should consider themselves lucky for now. It seems really difficult for them to even qualify for the Europa Conference League in this situation. A gap of ten points is not easy to close for them. In addition to that there are some other teams between as well.

Juventus should just do their best no matter what in this season and think of what they can do in the next one. Besides they can still focus on the Europa League as much as possible. Who knows maybe they can win the title there and secure a ticket to the Champions League group stage.
