1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: January 28, 2022, 05:44:53 PM
Corrections will always be here though, even in the bull market last year there was a lot of corrections along the way. And if we are really in a bearish trend, then most likely we will see more of this downward spiral and then bounce back.

So for those weak hands that sold, maybe they can get back in the market if the price goes down again. That is if they are smart enough to take advantage of every dip.
It is normal for a correction to occur after having some bulls but I think the last bull have happened some time ago and its only strange that we are still having a correction. maybe the op was right, what if there are manipulators that are in play and they are preventing the bulls to come.

I do not know if how long they can be able to hold this but I still do believe that bulls can return by this year, this is why I am buying now during this dip. Let's forget about those weak handed users, they are too weak to not hold during a bull and you expect them to come right now? I think this situation is more scary than before. It takes ball to dive in.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My second purchase with bitcoin on: January 28, 2022, 04:21:36 PM
I am also looking to upgrade my PC system but prices are so high at the moment that I am just not that comfortable. The most important component for me is a new GPU which are expected to rise another 15% this year. If prices recover soon I might sell some of my alt coins for the new PC.
why don't you just do the following

take $100 and invest LTC now and in a few months when it rises together with bitcoin it will have a price of $300 and with that you would have 300$ so you would already have money to buy parts for your pc without having to spend a lot of money
He have altcoins with him that he wants to sell and I suppose when he said altcoins, that already includes ltc or if not then he can sell those alts first or convert them into ltc. No doubt that ltc is a good coin better than most altcoins today.

LTC is often compared to as a silver bitcoin so chances are when btc recovers, ltc can also follow or vice versa. 300 usd looks so small though and might not be enough because his aim is to buy quality parts better than what he was using and if that is a latest product , that will surely be expensive for now although he can always re invest the 300 dollars and repeat the process till he get his desired amount.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 28, 2022, 02:46:20 PM
Unfortunately I don’t have BTC anymore. I gave them up last December 2020, but ended up regretting when it moons all the way up to $20k+ and almost touched down $70k too. Only ETH so far I have bought at cheaper price under $200 and holding it until now.

Right now it’s on a up and down trend between $34k to $37k, so I might be planning to do some DCA on this every month.
To whom you gave it? That person can be the happiest person living on earth if he still holds that btc you gave until now and if ever he solds it I think he will still gave you something so cheer up man. You may loose your btc but what important is that you helped someone. That is a rare trait and not all people can do that.

In the end you still have your eth with you and your already seeing the fruits of your efforts, just hold on for it a little longer because I believe that there is a bright future coming from eth. Holding btc or eth is not a dumb decision but holding junk coins are, however holding btc and eth is risky due to their volatile nature.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 27, 2022, 09:48:12 PM
Newcastle are really in an interesting condition now. They are one of the richest clubs in the world now but they are in the relegation area in the league at the same time. They must really start showing a much better performance than now. Otherwise they are in danger of relegating from the league. And after that, I don't think that bigger names would be eager to come to a club which are in the second league of their country. A really tough future would wait for them then.
They are making some key signings and there are more to come soon. By the end of the transfer window I am sure they are gonna confirm one or two more, so now at least I think they are gonna perform better than what they showed us still now. I am still surprised about the Bruno Guimares moving to Newcastle and I am sure other players will also start to think Newcastle as a team to start their PL adventure.

Honestly it's quite a gamble for those players as well as team is in relegation.
Currently, Newcastle United is most talked topic in soccer community because they are richest and sadly now they are at 18th position in Premier League which is never been ideal for any team last but not least they have very difficult chance of surviving even spending good money because it's not all about money it needs some good strategy and off the field things as well right now they are going to face Everton in next match if they won and Norwich will also win then they will be on their place and in another match if Watford beat Burnley or Burnley beat Watford they are going to drop some more mean very tricky situation for all relegation zone teams with just Norwich's one win can create more interest now we have to wait for some good time about result who is going down and who is staying here for next season.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 27, 2022, 09:14:01 PM
It the location is under target, then it isn't good to tour. Pakistan people will be with much expectation to host the series in the home country after a long. However it is very important to take care of life. As said in a quote if the players are ready to play the the tournament won't get cancelled, But players won't have such a mind. Also this will not let the players have their natural game. So, it is good to have a common location out of the country if scenario isn't supportive.
Things are not worst as many believe because there is unrest in many countries as well, and they are still doing their usual business but here mostly Indian propaganda works badly for Pakistan they never want anything good for them, so they mostly cry too much. Keep one thing in mind if PSL 7 is going to be good and fair then surely Australian's will be happy, and they will tour without any fear right now this even is key for their tour and all cricketing future of Pakistan.

After apologize from ECB things doing better and now nearly 18 players from England are into PSL mean they are feeling good and have no fear, so they are enjoying cricket. I am personally feeling this all will be OK, and we will have some good cricket in this region in near future.
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investor Psychology on: January 26, 2022, 09:51:06 PM
People were willing to buy bitcoin at all time high prices and everyone was greedy. Now when bitcoin is half the ATH price, we see no buying pressure. It's strange that people are willing to get bitcoin at high prices but they don't buy it when bitcoin is available at fair cheap prices. This is strange bitcoin investor's psychology.
Maybe those people have learned their lesson. They quit btc for good so that they wont loose anymore or maybe they are not buying when price is dumped but they are waiting again for the price to pumped and then they buy it.

We think this is strange because we think the best way to build wealth is buy buying low selling high but we did not know that it is also a valid strategy and there are people that are using it where they buy high and then they also sell high. I think that it does not really matter if which side we chose but what matters the most is how do we handle our investments. It is important to not panic and sell but lets us stick to out plans as possible.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Profitable coin for 2022 on: January 26, 2022, 08:35:09 PM
It's a good time to do some solid research before making any financial decisions! Start with trying to gain an understanding of the difference between certain cryptos such as ETH, BTC and XRP. All 3 are very important and useful, but all in completely different ways
Many of us are tempted to buy because coins are down but it would be great if we learn first? In case, if we are new here or our learning is not yet enough so that we cant get wrong on our choices. Eth, btc and xrp this coins are indeed different. XRP is more on the centralized side but btc are more on decentralize while eth is an altcoin and eth can be used as a gas when sending erc20 coins.

Coins that are under the metaverse category are also good to invest now in my opinion because metaverse is still new and there is still a hype between them. Coins that works as an alternative to eth such as matic and bsc are also in demand right now .
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: January 26, 2022, 01:38:37 PM
The reason I personally buy altcoins is none other than, of course I want to make a profit, I have no intention of making altcoins a collection, my goal is just to make a profit, of course I will exchange everything with fiat currency, working during a pandemic is very difficult, so this is the only way i can do to be able to make money..
Most of us are here because we wanted to make money but the only difference is that some will place their profits on this coin or the other to continue making more money while the other cashes it out already. That is good if your goal is to make some bucks besides there is a risk of continues holding and trading.

Eth and btc currently lead the entire cryptocurrency market because of how huge they are and they wont easily get pull down even if the coin has some potentials. In my case I mainly buy altcoins because I am using it to gamble online, they are cheap and faster to use than bitcoins. If profit is where talking about, I only invest and hold bitcoins.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 25, 2022, 09:03:22 PM
Morocco have just taken a deserved lead, and the score is now 2-1, with about 20 minutes to go.

It's pretty much been a one-sided game with Morocco fully dominating every aspect of the game, and there might be one more goal, if care isn't taken as Malawi were rather lucky not to have conceded a penalty few minutes before the goal. They (Morocco) are imho opinion the best side in the competition right now.
Morocco is excellent team, and they are doing good in this match but this stunning goal from Ashraf Hakimi is really amazing now we are heading for end of this match, and surely it's going to be won for Morocco now they are going to be in quarter-final where they are going to face team from the Ivory Coast/ Egypt winner.

Surely most of the game was dominant by Moroccans as they were good and have some very good quality players into their team Malawi done good in start but sadly after taking early lead they start to play as defense which hurt them very badly, and now they are trailing by 1 goal and now going out of this competition.
1770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 25, 2022, 08:21:48 PM
Wow this is a very inspiring post , if i only have merit i will surely send you one because you are one of the most generous person that exist here.
Imagine that it wasn't your son and that is only your niece and knowing that you have no much funds yet you are investing for his future studies?
yeah that is small amount but for a people that has limited funds that would be a big help.
That maybe a small fund but not all people can do that. There are people that are rich enough and yet cant even lend a help even small amount and even if related to their family. It does not matter at all if it is small but what matter the most is that we helped someone.

100 dollars may look so small to some but if that promised is kept i mean if its followed strictly by holding it for 18 years, the value of it is surely going to be very huge. Let's just remember what happened to the value of btc when it started at the begging compared to what it got now, sure the price dumped almost half but the gains are still there. It is still noticeable.
1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 24, 2022, 08:14:02 PM
Hi crew. Hope you are all well in new 2022. Good moment to buy btc or eth?
If you want to buy it wait for it a bit stable first, I'm afraid the market will go down continuously. If you got a lot of money you can buy the top ten from coinmarketcap, many people will panic sell and watch the movement from the market waiting for a good opportunity to buy the dip. It's now or never to me.
That's what most people say these days that cryptos can decline even further so not hurrying up can be a good thing. Another thing I heard is eth could perform better this year so it will be good if we pay attention to that.

To have a lot of money or not , we can still be able to buy coins from the top as long as we know how to divide the funds properly  there is also non top coins or undervalued coins that can potentially pump so I wont disregard them. Sure there are panic sellers but I do not think they are the ones that will monitor the market closely and buys at the dip, that is not the trait of a panic seller but that is the trait of a professional crypto trader  .
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the potential of the Polygon? on: January 24, 2022, 07:16:52 PM
I have been actively using this blockchain since last year and this is a good blockchain but the problem is even this claimed to be another scalable blockchain but the thing that makes me curious is if the blockchain can still get clogged. Im also experiencing some exchange sites are suspending the deposit and withdrawal for all of the assets in polygon. It seems like that this blockchain was not scalable enough to handle the spam attack by anonymous users. So far this blockchain is so good. Small fees, fast transactions, and a good ecosystem but i wanna say if there are not lots of dapps on polygon as this is still a new blockchain and you may rarely find a legit defi on polygon. This is having the same potential like BSC chain which has been running by BNB but i just see that this blockchain has no capability to be the same like L1 blockchain.
On the bold part, you should be the one that can answer that because your an active user of polygon. Even I don't use polygon I read some news related to it, last time the polygon network is very congested only because of one game. I hope that cures your curiosity.

The suspension of deposits and withdrawals on an exchange are normal and does not only happen to polygon but can also happen to almost any coin the exchange support. Polygon has a potential because it is currently being used as an alternative to eth. Its value is still cheap yet and very easy to buy. I would recommend this coin if we are building a solid portfolio.
1773  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 24, 2022, 06:33:41 PM
Before thinking of investing in any sector what one considers is how long you are willing to hold. Let's take the history down to how investment all began. Moving from the era of Real estate to stocks to metals to oil blocks and now digital assets we would agree those who made it big in all this investment options were those who had the patience to hold.

This kept me wondering why one would even think of investing if they don't have the patient to hold. If you can't develop the hold attitude then the best option is to do a physical business where you can monitor your profit and see them come in regularly. If it must be crypto then you must be willing to hold and wait
Unfortunately too many people approach it as if digital assets are here for something quicker. We see people holding stocks for decades, literally decades, but crypto has been a bit more known for a decade now, slightly more since it started, and yet people act as if it doesn't go up too much.

On average, it takes about 3 to 5 months for bitcoin to recover from 50% drops, and we just had one, so in 3 to 5 months we "may" go back, it has happened many times before, and for some reason people act as if we would have to wait YEARS before we can be close to 70k again. However, even if we had to, that is 2x, so would it be weird if we had to wait 2 years for 2x return? I mean isn't that still great? Or how about 10x in 10 years? Would that be weird? 350k or so in 2030-32 period? But if it doesn't happen by 2025, people will react like it is too late, that's a bit weird.
Digital assets are not only limited to holding but you can also do other things on them like shopping, gambling and so on . we cant blame all that invest and then suddenly sold because they are only humans and humans can get distracted easily. Maybe greed got them, or they are scared that dumps will go bad and whats the difference of physical business to online, where in online you can also hold your own assets in your own wallet. Physical business can only be harder as they require more things and it needs more monitoring than simply holding but nothing is hard as long as we are dedicated and have a passion on what we are doing.
1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Changing my Thoughts And Behaviors. on: January 24, 2022, 12:01:31 PM
What change have you noticed in your life since you get involved in Bitcoin I can list some of them such as changes in our Financial behavior, knowledge quest, and the way we make investment decisions.
big changes happen in my life when I know and focus in bitcoin. Previously I was never interested in anything related to the internet and technology but since getting to know bitcoin I have rediscovered a new desire to know more about what bitcoin is, the technology behind it, its impact on the world economy, and also the huge potential that bitcoin will make.
Oh, so your an outside guy before and your only referred by someone? Because, you are different to us. Before we start here we already have interest in internet and technical things that is why we eventually discovered btc.

You have a genuine interest in bitcoin based on what you go through and that is rare to have right now, usually people get involved in bitcoin only because they heard that you can make money out of it but then they panic sell and blame bitcoin for their loss once bitcoin goes in a correction mode. If only they knew that btc is more than that, that it can change the way they live and can make them a better version of themselves.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 24, 2022, 07:11:45 AM
Have already loss more than 50% and better to hold than cut loss, although with cut loss we can get chance with lower price but I see loss much money and waiting or patience is the key for keeping hold right now. Maybe just my prediction bitcoin or altcoin back to higher price after Chinese new year and need one month later see bitcoin and altcoin reach good price, I want to open my account exchange but very sad looking with my fund dump drastically and need waiting again for opening one month later.
Sorry for your temporary loss, yes bro that is only temporary just do not give up what you have started and you will be fine and your going to be more happier soon. It is not bad to check your trading account once in a while to see if the coins are still there and to check out your notifications if whats new in the exchange.

The entire crypto market is falling again today, but is this the first time? Didn't it fall the same way in 2021 before the new ATH? And remember what was the level of greed and fear at $40,000 a year ago and now?
Not only in 2021, but ever since the crypto world began the ups and downs are already there. If there are people that are in panic. Well, maybe they are just new here in crypto and did not know the history of it. Still, there are coins that have a noticeable gain last time , they are link and ada most especially near.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me thinking about this NFT craze this way? on: January 23, 2022, 09:58:36 PM
As good as NFT sounds to me there is another part of me that just feel like NFT is nonsense, crypto investors are pumping billions into a cartoonish looking monkey for what? To store that money or hope to get bigger money later? I smell perfect way of embezzling dirty money, illegal shit and so on
What you have to understand is that whatever we have called money or a means of exchange is because we have agreed to call it money and it serves as a medium of exchange for all of us. And that the way we have come together to believe that the picture of a monkey is not just your regular picture with the ethereum block chain. But, the question of being illegal shit or not is a question for another day.
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: January 23, 2022, 09:39:34 PM
The fear is real, many people sell their coins when the price starts to fall because of panic, there are even projects that are afraid to distribute tokens like the CITIZEN project they delay token distribution maybe they are afraid if their tokens are distributed to bounty hunters their token price will go down, this project that made the bounty hunters were disappointed even because the CITIZEN project ruined the name of their other projects otherwise the CITIZEN team was not responsible or the bounty distribution they ran away after their project was successful and ignored the bounty hunters.
It is real if you believe on it but experts say that fear is only an imaginary thing and its only in our head. Some people sells not because of panic but they are organize , they have set stop losses to avoid loosing further but I guess there is still a fear involved with that. And for the bounty projects? Yes, I saw lots of bounties work like that that delay payments but the point is that they completed the payments. They should try paying other cryptos next time if they fear that their own coin will dump. To those projects that ran away , that is not what you called fear anymore but that is a crime called scamming.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 23, 2022, 08:18:47 PM
There are two recent incidents which I wanna discuss:

1. Kohli addressing directly the broadcaster in stumps during 3rd test against SA
2. Moises Henriques saying "nice throw" to Pak bowler Hasnain in BBL

So far ICC has not taken any disciplinary action against both player's. The reason is obvious both are from big 3 countries. Had this done by player from Pakistan, Bangladesh or WI ICC will have used his guide book against them. Cricket truly is under big 3 control.
Just because of these biased things this beautiful game of cricket is losing its passion in few countries ICC never been good in these things mostly they favored their own teams and their players so these things happening regularly specially with these big3 which have no control on their players and their ways which creating some serious problems.

If they want to do some better things for future surely they need some better neutral policies and better way of handling all players with same law sometime back few other officials also complain about few teams players attitude which was very bad, but it's never settled so now coming more badly out because these boards have enough power and their players feel their self out of law.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Braintrust. Your opinion? on: January 23, 2022, 06:07:06 PM
After the initial spike of this 2021 Alt, I has only declined. Connecting freelancers is it's mission. Should I hold?
Braintrust? Never heard of this before? Platforms for freelancer might be a profitable one but not sure why this coin keeps declining; which might mean lazy or scammy devs. So, I guess you must need to react as early as possible before whales will dump to penny values. For now I just want to keep my head on metaverse and on NFT fully and consistently. I am not holding any of new projects' token. But, I will suggest if you are holding and you research says it is going to be a bearish season, it is better you take profit.
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: January 23, 2022, 12:52:46 PM
It might be for not trusting strongly on bitcoin. Price may fall down and it's normal for crypto currency. We should wait patiently for pumping the price again. Sometimes people sell by following current fraud news about bitcoin.
Yeah, if they are only like you that knows the history of btc they will not panic anymore but no each of us is different and we can say they know the history of btc but they have other reasons on why they sell like they need money, they will will always sell but it is not a fact when you say btc only goes up continuously, no it does not work like that but it goes up and down, this is the reason why we have not touched 100k yet.

$100k is kinda impossible too for now. The up and downs of btc and the manipulation caused by whales is also one of the main reasons why many of btc users are selling off even though they already knew that it is impossible for btc to go to zero.
