I'll pay in the next couple of hours.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: money or not? on: February 01, 2017, 07:14:45 PM
As someone who's in IT you should be interested in learning more about BTC and the technology it runs on. It could have a lot of impact on the future of the IT sector.
It's best that you browse around and look at ongoin open projects. You shouldn't be in it for the money but rather for the experience. Choose a project that interests you and offer to help out. Any compensation should be regarded as a bonus. Employers want to see what experience you have so best get as much of it as possible.
1763  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitSweep.org - Bitcoin Sweeper on: February 01, 2017, 07:09:14 PM
As others have posted, private keys are never meant to be handled online unless being redeemed. Even then, people would only sweep wallets with smaller amounts and using sites that have a high reputation.
As it stands almost every BTC wallet client allows for you to sweep addresses (and if I remember correctly, Blockchain.info also have this feature) so why would people use your site over any of the alternatives that have been working flawlessly for some time now?
1764  Economy / Speculation / Re: it IS time for rise on: February 01, 2017, 06:56:43 PM
Over 2% growth over the last 24 hours and at the time of writing the BTC price sits at $981.12
It's definitely possible that we'll pass the $1,000 mark in the next day or so, the only question is how long it can stay up there for before a market correction. Who knows, perhaps we've already reached that point at around the $800/$900 range with room for a little fluctuation on either side. Either way, let's just hope it keeps going up and up!
1765  Economy / Services / Re: i can mentor to make Insane ammount of Bitcoins on: February 01, 2017, 06:45:40 PM
What experience do you have and what proof can you provide to back up your claims? 0.5 BTC isn't nevcessarily a big first-investment but for some people it's quite significant.
If you want to get people to participate you're going to need to provide a lot more information as otherwise don't expect anyone to participate as right now it looks extremely shady.
1766  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Over 100 Migrant Workers Test Blockchain Remittance in Thailand on: January 31, 2017, 01:50:23 PM
I'm not sure if this is in the right section but it makes for a great bit of reading nonetheless. I'd be interested to know more how those on the receiving end actually receive their money. If EVEREX are converting it back to FIAT then it's pretty much only a one way stream. Also, they used ETH and not BTC but at the end of the day it's still progress for Blockchain technologies.
1767  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What software do you want for the bitcoin sector? on: January 28, 2017, 09:52:21 PM
I'm not sure if this exists. I know there was a browser plugin that offered something like this.
It would be cool to have a service that allowed you to buy literally anything for BTC. Load up a website and add something to your basket. Using your plugin/browser add-on you could then pay for said goods using BTC. If there was some way of integrating this with purse.io or some site that actually offered cashback or a discount when usingBTC then it would be even better!

I have seen a plugin that offers virtual bitcoin debit card for a limited time (If i'm not mistaken it was for 30min).

So you had to send the bitcoin to an addresses provided by this plugin/extension and then the card was loaded and ready to be used to pay for whatever you need to.

Do you have more information about this? A link or something would do. There used to be a service like the one I mentioned but they stopped operating if I remember correctly.
If that could be integrated with some rewards/discount priveliiges then it'd make the service even better.

Edit: Where are my manners? Thank you Smiley
1768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin exchange on the deep web? on: January 28, 2017, 09:49:32 PM
The Blockchain will show every Bitcoin transaction. The best thing you could do is use a trustworthy Bitcoin mixer. I'd stay as far away from any exchange on the deep web. The sites are completely anonymous and once you send your coins it's basically like saying good bye to them. Stick to the reputable sites. Use mixers and regulated exchanges unless you want to lose your coins.

P.S I do not endorse the use of mixers but each to their own I guess...
1769  Economy / Services / Need Someone With Whitepages Premium Access on: January 28, 2017, 07:47:42 PM
Hi,
I need someone who has access to whitepages premium to do a few searches for me. Will obviously pay for the service. If you're able to help them please post below or send me a PM.

Thanks

1771  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need an advice how to make signature on: January 28, 2017, 06:07:50 PM
Do you have any coding experience?
If not, there are plenty of users on the forum who offer signature creation services. You can look through the threads on the Marketplace>Services section.
Alternatively, as suggested by others here, you could try any freelance sites like Fiverr.com/Freelancer.com/Upwork.com and get one custom made there.
1772  Economy / Economics / Re: John McAffee: "In 2 years Years btc will only have 25% of the Crypto MarketCap" on: January 26, 2017, 06:54:00 PM
That's just pure speculation. He has no evidence to base that claim on.
As things stand we've seen more technologies built on the Bitcoin protocol which have been more revolutionary. Despite that, Bitcoin still remains at the top with far more than a 25% market cap.
As it stands, there's no real reason why this would change but if things do progress then it's fair to say that there's a possibility that BTC's percentage of the total market cap will decrease although tonexactly what nobody can predict with certainty.
1773  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anywhere good to sell things for Bitcoin yet? on: January 25, 2017, 01:14:39 PM
There used to be a good site for selling items called but bitmit.com but they closed up shop a while ago.
There have been others that have tried and some of the best currently include https://bitify.com although they don't seem to be as successful as Bitmit once was.
You could also try creating a store on Open Bazaar. They recently released their platform and its already quite big.
1774  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Coins - will they ever become more scarce? on: January 24, 2017, 07:15:32 AM
I think the way in which the coins will become more scarce will only be over time through the gradual redemption of funds.
We already know the approximate mintage of each series and there's a website that is updated to reflect how many coins are still 'active'. The moon coins that are peeled, the more scarce in intact ones become.
1775  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: App to Make Getting and Selling BTC Easier on: January 23, 2017, 07:39:56 PM
Sounds like a decent idea. Ideas don't need to be new in order for them to succeed. They just need to do the job more effectively. If you can come up with a good UI and make the process smooth and enjoyable then it should gain traction.
With regards to the security concerns it's probably best to provide some guideline framework advising on personal security when dealing with face to face transactions. If anything goes wrong, a little bad publicity always seems to go a long way.
1776  Economy / Lending / Re: I AM IN NEED OF 0.5 BTC for my business on: January 23, 2017, 05:38:04 PM
As stated above, you're thread has been posted in the wrong section.
Additionally, asking for a loan without collateral is against forum rules. If you are serious about securing a loan for your business then you need to offer collateral worth the same or more than the loan amount itself.
It extremely unlikely that anyone would be prepared to fulfill your loan given your member status. You'd be better off finding small business loans in your local area.
1777  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Cryptolator Silver 'Bitcoin Unchained' coin on: January 22, 2017, 10:38:43 PM
I have one but it's 2FA.
I do have a couple of spare holograms though so you could peel it and assemble it yourself if you prefer.
Not sure if I want to sell it. It's definitely one of the nicest coins I have but I'd be open to offers
mmh well thanks for letting me know but i prefer the plain vanilla version without 2FA.
Peeling such a lovley coin is not an option;)

I know. In hindsight I'd have gone for the regular kind but for some reason I chose the 2FA instead. The holograms I have are original cryptolator ones (exactly the same as the one on the back of the coin already) if that makes any difference.

1779  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Alitin Mint / Titan coins on: January 22, 2017, 09:09:39 AM
I couldn't find anything on them online. Did they close up shop?
Someone was selling some of his coins on the nxt forum at the end of last year. Here's a link. You can try contacting him to see if they're still for sale.

1780  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Samsung Galaxy S7 blacklisted CHEAP on: January 22, 2017, 06:46:36 AM
Lots of networked share information. That means that if a network in the USA blacklists the phone, it is possible that other networks around the globe will blacklist it from working on their network too.
OP, it is best for you to carry out a full IMEI check and post back with the results including what countries this phone will work in.
