1761  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 14, 2022, 09:56:25 PM
Apparently, the sideways market broke down not out. Are we in a "now what" situation? Or do you think this is as far down as it goes? Even the week chart looks bad for BTC. Any suggestions what to do?
Keep analyzing and know when to buy again, also you should not panic because this market will recover and with Bitcoin we can still expect a good trend after this crash. Buy some now and buy more for a more cheaper price, the bear is still hear and you can see more cheaper price in the coming days, be ready with your cash.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 14, 2022, 01:29:48 PM

Jordan Wiggins the young star player in the golden state warriors he doing so great that can carry his team to victory and best player of the game.

LOL, looks like you combine the two good players of the Warriors roster.
It's actually, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins.  Grin

Anyway, both of them did great, especially Wiggings who are the best player in the game.
I'm also wondering who that player is but there's no doubt, both of them contributes a lot for todays win and now they are on the lead to take the Championship. Let's see if Warriors can take the title and prove those speculator before wrong especially about their lower chance of winning here. Warriors is great, Steph alone can really put a big show and a huge help for the warriors, I can't wait to see them with their new trophy, they are heading for this.
1763  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto taxation in the Philippines coming soon? on: June 14, 2022, 01:01:37 PM

1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 11, 2022, 09:56:33 PM
NFT was the talk of 2021. Now if we look at floor prices for all popular collections https://www.coingecko.com/en/nft other than BAYC there is nothing that performs well.
Cryptopunks are down big. Same for azuki, moonbird, coolcats. Collectors are now looking for good fundamentals, but how can NFT give it? Discuss?
This is not the end yet, maybe this is just the effect of bear market which affects everyone here.
You can only tell its the end if they are not able to survive especially if the market starts to get better and they remain on their bottom prices. Though I see a critical level for the P2E, if they are no longer profitable most probably investors wont come back to them again.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 11, 2022, 09:46:54 PM
Those are the advantages and disadvantages (although I disagree with some of those points) of using bitcoin in general and not restricted to crypto gambling.
Actually, if we are going to talk about advantages/disadvantages of using bitcoin to gamble then most of the points you mentioned will become irrelevant. For example, the moment you send your coins to your casino account, we can't talk about décentralisation, security, privacy.. anymore.
That’s for general, decentralize only means for Bitcoin but in some gambling site, KYC is mandatory and that kills the purpose of decentralized. Well, every coin/token here have their own pros and cons, so used what is more comfortable with you. I personally don’t use Bitcoin for my gambling because I just hold it for long term purposes, I prefer altcoins for this and I know I can be more profitable if I don’t use my Bitcoin. If there’s an option for altcoins on the site you are using, better to go for that.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 11, 2022, 09:36:27 PM
What happens in some games recently? I'm talking about teams that will have a big lead but in the end, they will blow that lead and loss. That's what happened to some games recently and the fresh one is on Converge vs Magnolia where the former was behind 20 point lead but came back and win that game.

Here in Phoenix vs Meralco, Phoenix was up as much as 16 points but Meralco comes back and sealed a win.

With this situation recently, it's tempting to bet on a live bet on a team that is behind a big lead. What do you think?

Come from behind wins often happens in the PBA and also in the NBA but betting for the team who's behind in the score is very risky personally, i don't do that especially if the that was behind is the underdog team but when I do live betting I usually take the option/market with the handicap.

Sample scenario, the score in the third quarter was Phoenix 59 - Meralco 43, you can see an offer in the bookies (Phoenix -10.5 @1.96 Meralco +10.5 @1.85), that I usually take and not the ML and I have a high win rate doing that hehe but not always a win, only high win rate.

That's a good strategy, but as for me, sometimes I get too greedy and I would try to take the higher odds, so ML is definitely a good odds because in this game, not only Meralco come back and win, they also win with a high margin. Imagine down double digit but ended up winning a double digit.
Being greedy is the key term here, we know the risk on betting on a team that is down double digit since there’s no guarantee for a come back, its just that Merlco is too good for this and don’t want to go home at a loss. Well, betting is more fun and challenging with this, live bets are fine as well its all about risk and if you are ready for this, go ahead and have some bet while having fun watching the game.
1767  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sen. Manny Strikes Again... Creating Dog Themed NFT on: June 11, 2022, 09:24:34 PM
Hindi ko masasabi na crypto advocate si Pacquiao lahat ng crypto projects na gumamit sa pangalan niya ay palpak.
Wala pa akong nakita na tinutukan niya sa mga crypto projects.
Marahil ay kulang sila sa pagmarket ng project nila and siguro ordinary token lang na wala namang usage talaga dito sa market and with this NFT, baka magfail lang ito pagnagkataon.

Sana gumawa sya ng makabuluhang project, yung masasabe naten na may pakinabang talaga kase with this NFT, I can’t see any usage and di know alam kung worth ba ito bilihin. I’m looking forward for a more good project, sana magkaroon den tayo ng Filipino successful crypto project.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Online Casino Games: Which do you prefer? on: June 11, 2022, 09:13:57 PM
That depends on what a player wants to do. There are all round players who enjoy doing both. But if you are really looking for a casino, it is better to stay away from sports competitions and vice versa. Today, most gambling sites have both a sportsbook and a casino implemented on their site, so you could alternate. Sports betting and playing in a casino are far apart. You just have to be interested in it. What you hear is that players often play with higher stakes in sports matches, and that they sometimes kill time sitting in the casino.
This is the technology that we are enjoying today, you can really experience both in just one site and you can feel your security their while having fun. I actually do both most of the time especially on NBA and Boxing while doing some casino games as the same time. I think there’s nothing wrong here as long you know what you are doing and you are ready for the risk since the more you expose in gambling, the more chance of losing.
1769  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN SCAM AND DIDNT LET ME WITHDRAW on: June 11, 2022, 08:39:13 PM
I think is time we move on from the case if the ops have received back his deposit, most gambling sites have some strict rules on multiple accounting on their platform but they're generous enough to always refund deposits before blocking your account for violations.
Delay withdrawals doesn’t mean a scam, sometimes you just need to wait and listen to them.
If this case is already solve then we should not be alarmed anymore with this site. Anyway, Trustdice must increase their work force if they are experiencing high traffic since most of the gamblers prefer to have a fast and smooth withdrawal transactions, and this is actually a big thing for them.
1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adsense now has a token? on: June 11, 2022, 02:22:45 PM
I won't be touching that shitcoins even if it has been named before "Google adsense". Naming a token that is derived from a successful or established platform is an old trick of scammers to trick newbs.

[1] https://isthiscoinascam.com/check/adsense-token
This explains everything and we know Google AdSense is a big company and you can easily know if they are the one behind that token or not.
But seriously, this is an old trick to scam people and better to stay away from this scam token. AdSense has no announcement with regards to this one so most probably they are not aware of this. Though its possible that they can have their own coin, and if you really want to confirm this better to contact them.
1771  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which sportbooks allow winners on: June 11, 2022, 02:06:12 PM
Hi there,

Are there any crypto sportbooks that allow winners to play there and dont start limiting players once they win a little bit?

Thanks!
There's no reason to limit any players not unless it violates the rules of the site and if you are winning, the site will not limit you and still encourage you to play so you will lose that money again later on. Most of the top gambling site today don't have any limitation as long as you are playing by the rules and I don't see any problem on that. Have you experienced being limited by the site?
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 11, 2022, 01:37:48 PM
I don't feel Green in the game while his counterpart Williams does.

Green is not his usual self in this series, maybe he is really having a hard time against Williams and Smart and Horford. But he gets the job done with rebounds and good defense and it's enough for them to win tonight. He didn't foul out so that is a plus already.

And everyone who needs to step up perform well in this game, Poole and Klay with dribble penetration and then stop at a dime for a lay up or jump shot. And then Wiggins helping out in the rebounding department and making sure to get offensive rebounds. And yes, they really deserved this hard earn win.
Even if Green is not on his usual game, they are still playing good here and as a team someone should really step up.
I really thought this is game for Celtics because of the fault passes in the third quarter but the good thing is that, they are able to recover and compose themselves again and now tied the series. Game 5 will be a big thing for Warriors, this is their homecourt advantage and I hope they will do more in game 5, will place my bet again to them.  Cheesy
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning in a bear market on: June 10, 2022, 09:41:23 PM
Hi everyone, since the bear market is upon us is there any kind of staking that's good for a bear market or staking are generally bad in this type of market condition? Can be APY or APR, drop your earning strategy in this market condition.
Staking can’t give you high return not unless you have huge capital for this?
I can suggest that trading are more profitable but it require good skills and if you have that skills then this should be your best option. Bear market is a good opportunity to get top coins at cheaper price, you can also hold if you are a long term player.
1774  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: REVIVING THE CHARITY PROGRAM on: June 10, 2022, 09:35:55 PM
To become more effective, better to be more transparent this time and if ever na magkaroon ulit mas ok kung bibigyan naten ng chance yung iba to do the charity work kase before organizer lang ang mga nagchacharity so very limited lang yung mga places and if ever na may interesado talaga at least give them a fund to do that charity.

Ang tanong, sino ang maghahandle nito ngayon and if kung may interesado paba dito? With or without donator kase most probably may trust issue pa and need muna ibuild ito ulit. Matrabaho ito pero super worth it ang pagtulong.
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: The world economy is in recession on: June 10, 2022, 09:23:59 PM
Bonds are created to get more money from the public to encourage them spend money and at least give them assurance for something in return, this is actually to fight inflation to lessen the circulation of money. Stocks are down because many are cashing out because of this fear of recession. Actually its not easy to balance everything, and yes recession might happen but then again, we will survive on this and rise again so better not to panic and decide on where to put your money.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 30% of billionaires directly or indirectly invest in cryptocurrencies on: June 10, 2022, 09:09:29 PM
Exactly, most millionaires and billionaires protect themselves and take risks by diversifying their investments, so if any bet goes wrong or goes right, they are protected by having diversified, this is basic for anyone who invests.
Investing is very normal for them and most probably someone is doing this for them with just a little supervising from them. Billionaires won’t care that much about a small losses since they have other business to cover it and its actually good that many rich people are already in cryptomarket, that can be a good adoption sometimes but hopefully they are the good whales. Billionaires can easy manipulate a small token, be careful on riding the hype because that may be a manipulated hype.
1777  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 10, 2022, 08:48:34 PM
Good to know that Level 1 verification in Roobet is not mandatory anymore, I thought it was still. Just visited the site again after 1,2,3... 11 months.
How do you know that it is no longer mandatory? I mean did you find a statement in the terms or directly ask to their live support.
As far as I remember Roobet requires KYC level one because of the rules of their gambling license, if true, this is no longer mandatory then this is good news, but those who have done KYC will dislike it a bit.
It is mandatory before if you login to your account, the KYC requirements will occur but maybe when OP login again, there’s no question anymore and that could be his conclusion that level 1 KYC is not needed anymore. Well, I already comply with this one so its hard to check but if its already lifted then this is a good news to those who don’t want this, they can comeback now and try Roobet again. To those who comply with the level 1 KYC, you can’t do anything about it anymore but at least we are still secured.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: June 09, 2022, 09:29:02 PM
Not sure man, i felt bad for missing ENS airdrop, so thought of being alpha and search for a new one lol.

But i do get what u mean, often time these airdrops wont worth much
As long as the requirement for those airdrop is not that hard, I think it can still be ok.
There’s a lot of good airdrop before and it can still happen in the future so better to keep joining those airdrop and you might be lucky in the future. The market is still on a bear but I think Airdrop is not a good escape for this, better if you have some extra money try to buy some good coins and you wont regret that as well.
1779  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 09, 2022, 09:09:44 PM
Many players will all have a different opinion about a particular bookmaker. You always keep saying that there are problems with the bookmaker. It is impossible that there is a bookmaker or casino that never has any problems with a customer. Each customer has its own connection to a site. In order to be able to assess it properly, you should actually rely purely on your own experience and then play with low stakes, for example, to see how the interaction and reaction of the bookmaker is. If I may give one more piece of advice, stay away from bookmakers with the MGA.
The more you experience the site, the more you can tell that the site can be trusted and that is the best site available for you. I usually follow the crowd, if this site is ok to some gamblers then it might also work for me. Also, you can see on the top gambling site they reviews and services, you can read everything there and choose what’s fit for you. Most of the time, the reviews are correct but then again just gamble what you can afford to lose so you wont regret later on especially if you incur problem with those site.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Litecoin and Korea on: June 09, 2022, 01:23:40 PM
Guys what's the real reason behind the relish of Litecoin from Korean exchanges like Upbit and Bithumb? I am sure most have heard about this news already but cant figure out the real reason behind the delisting.

Not only Upbit and Bithumb. Another 3 exchanges announced to delist Litecoin (LTC) after liteCoin developers rolled out the Mimblewimble Extension Block protocol.
https://cryptonews.com/news/five-south-korean-crypto-exchanges-delist-litecoin-following-mimblewimble-upgrade.htm

According to Binance academy, the Mimblewimble protocol is a blockchain design that employs a novel way of structuring and storing transactions. It’s a different implementation of a Proof of Work (PoW) blockchain that allows for increased privacy and better network scalability.
https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-mimblewimble
Probably, Korean exchanges are not allowed to list those coins/tokens who are getting more private, and with this update of Litecoin, those exchanges can't afford to list them anymore or else they will face problems too. It's good that Litecoin increase their privacy network, its just that some countries don't want this to happen, I'm sure LTC will still be available in some exchanges and this can still be a good one. LTC will rise again eventually.
