1761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 25, 2020, 01:16:47 AM
Investors tend to sell their btc they have to buy their own necessities because of this crisis caused by corona virus. So, basically it is still the reason (the pandemic crisis) why majority of them sold their btc even at low rate. But it seems that bitcoin is going up now. Panic sellers were lessen now. And you can't blame them. Most of them really need something to stock with, something to eat to survive in this cruel situation we are facing.
1762  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Moon Bitcoin Live] Ponzi scheme on: March 24, 2020, 10:47:28 AM
Some scam investment scheme were claiming to be licensed and legit, using agan this corona virus crisis to get the sympathy and make them believe that their site seems to be sincere while it is not.

Take note of the name of the site : Moon Bitcoin Live

Since most of the affected people are seeking some alternative way to earn, scammers were took advantage of this situation.

Quote
Moon Bitcoin Live, for example, claims to be a licensed bitcoin doubler, promising that investors can double their bitcoins within 24 hours, with guaranteed payouts.

There is no such thing as doubled your money instantly after 24 hours! And those who wanted to try this, forget about attempting. It's an obvious scam.

Do not ever send bitcoin to their address. You will not get any return.

1764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think this is a good strategy ? on: March 24, 2020, 07:01:13 AM
Better adjust your stop limit at $5000 if you enter long position with $5200 or $4900. Or it depends if you have 100x leverage you can put $5100 or $5150 as your stop limit. If you put stop limit with the same price it will hit immediately and will just deficit because of the fee.
 But yeah, just like others here telling that if the market will continue to pump, even you set stop loss at the same price, you will still get profit and it will not trigerred.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 24, 2020, 05:00:03 AM
It's also fun if we try games and converted it into gambling. Like usual games but with betting and rewards. That makes it more fun and exciting. I remember wayback i high school where in we tend to "like gamble" in a video playstation. Losers will gonna give some bucks to the winner. It will make you a good competitor thinking of the prize you will get by winning the game.

 Simple games with gambling will kill the boredom especially when we are in lock down. You can do play with your family at home and that's the perks of it.
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 24, 2020, 03:15:05 AM
I dunno of those coins I hold until now were already old since I just joined in cryptocurrency two years ago. But i do hold ltc, eth, eos, iost, dogecoin, xrp.
I just admit that I wrongly believe and was kinda disappointed wih eos. I bought it at peak when it was popular and got panic buying and now so hard to recover from it. Well, i still hold no matter what. I may still get back the deficit when it go pump. I still appreciate those coins I am holding now even in this market's situation as I knew that they are worth holding for.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 24, 2020, 01:32:51 AM
I doubt you  can get that high rewards in this current situation. But if that reward token were being hold and possible that may pump 50% or more then there is a great chance that you may reach that amount. Plus of course if that project is worth enough and the token will be useful and will be successful in the end, then it might have a chance to grow.

 Let's face the fact that you can rarely find good projects today unlike before. If one bounty hunter found useful and success project, then the bounty reward can be that better.
1768  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / [Ito nanaman sila] Scammer's gamit ang COVID19 on: March 23, 2020, 09:28:06 AM

Ito naman ang ginagamit nilang fake proof for their transactions kuno;

We are suffering from this crisis but then there are still people who are taking advantage of corona virus to fraud innocent individual. Paying fee? And then depositing? That's an absurd and obvious scam. I have reported that post to facebook already.

1769  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Patulong naman dito guys. on: March 23, 2020, 08:33:00 AM

Pero I don't want to force you or your teacher.

1770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 06:12:24 AM
Why not? You have a good point there. But I am seeing a lot of issues in this donation suggestion. I am also in a country where in a lockdown protocol were being implemented. Who's country will this forum choose to donate for? But if they will gonna raise some money here in forum, I am willing to donate as I know the experience of being in a crisis like this.

 Still, believing in government's decision and response with regards to this pandemic is the only thing to hold. I mean, they will protect their countrymen especially in this situation.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: March 23, 2020, 04:37:22 AM
It's our body's response to the frustations. In my case, when I lose huge amount in gambling, I do sleep to and get better afterwards. But there are also some times that I can't sleep when I win big and I lose big. That's the truth. If you are an optimistic gambler, thinking that you can recover your losses if not tomorrow then for the upcoming days, then you can set aside bad emotions and can sleep with a positive mind.

 This is gambling. Remember that we can not get easy money here and house always win at the end. So, acceptance is just the only key to start all over again if we lose.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: March 23, 2020, 01:47:08 AM
If a newbie is determined to learn he can possibly do a trades. There are so many things a newbies should learn before deciding to enter this field. Also, he can't really learn without trying so the best way for them is to experience the real trades. Trading with emotions can't be prevented especially with newbies but if they can't experience it, they will not gonna learn.

 Just take note that risk of losing and winning are associated in thia field. But if a newbie is courageous enough to grab this risk with of course good management risk plan, he/she will make a success trades.
1773  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Scam alert] NCOVID19 BTC giveaway on: March 22, 2020, 03:02:38 AM
I can't believe this. Scammers find a new way again to scam people. While browsing my facebook, this is what I saw.

Here is the mechanics they have provided on how to join on their ncovid btc giveaway;

And they also have fake proof for their transactions;

1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 21, 2020, 10:04:33 AM
In times like this, there are people who will be interested in online earnings. But let's face the reality, most of them were also afraid to take the risks. Bitcoin isn't hard to learn and to handle. But those newbies always thought that Bitcoin is an easy and quick rich scheme which is really not.

If we'll gonna introduce to them about bitcoin, the first question they will gonna ask is , "How to earn?" And "How to benefit from it?".

We will now inform them about;
  • Trading
  • Bounty campaign/Signature campaign
  • Gambling
  • Investing

And do not forget that bitcoin can also be use as alternate monetary system in terms of digital payments. However, I doubt if they will risk their money in this situation of crisis as majority of them badly need fiat for there major necessities especially in this lock down.
1775  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Akyat nanaman sa $6,000 ang Bitcoin! on: March 21, 2020, 07:08:46 AM
Well, this is a good sign.
1776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What indicators to use? on: March 20, 2020, 08:23:09 AM
Those were fine, i used MACD before Bollinger Band and RSI. But after learning other indicators that I think will work fine with my tradings, I have changed some indicators. Now, I have been using Stoch RSI, RSI, and EMA only. But remember, those were just your basis. Regardless how great you are at reading technical analysis, there are times that it isn't effective when whales were tend to enter the crypto market and make such unexpected sideways.

 But I would admit, it helps me a lot in my tradings. It is significant to know how to read indicators, volume , etc. As it may contribute to the success of every trades.
1777  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins hodler on: March 20, 2020, 06:11:22 AM
Well, since last year pa ko nag ho hold ng mga altcoins. Hindi naman ako baguhan sa larangan ng pagiging altcoins holder so I will still hold at makakapag antay pa naman ako para sa muling pag angat nila since I do some "long term hold".

1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to try yourself in trading and investing on the crypto. on: March 20, 2020, 03:56:39 AM
Well, there is just one trading platform that offers some demo trading. Try Bitmex. You don't have to deposit or invest to try some trading here. https://testnet.bitmex.com/
However, if you are a newbie and doesn't have any background in trading. This is a complicated demo for you. It's because this is leverage trading. Or you can always try depositing small amount in an exchange like binance or other trading exchange and practice trading by buying low and selling high.

But still, it's quite hard as it needs you to learn more about trading. There are a lot for you to know like fundamental and technical analysis. I, myself took some time to learn those tools before doing actual trading.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 20, 2020, 02:08:26 AM
That's a great use of bitcoin in case of this situation we are facing. I can actually pay bills with my btc thru online with my digital wallet so I don't have to go outside and still cooperating by all means from the government's advice in this lockdown. Since I also do some signature campaigns and they also advice us to work from home, it's still a win-win situation for me.

 Good to hear you have introduced bitcoin to someone. Especially that btc is down atm then they can possibly buy at low and hold it until the price goes up. While others are using bitcoin wisely, other's don't want to spend their bitcoin in this market situation.
1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 20, 2020, 12:17:35 AM
I believe those who were at panic in times like this were the ones who are new at this crypto world. The fact that this will flactuate ease the worries of investors. And the moment that we invest bitcoin, we knew that we will experience volatile prices. This is not the worst bottom. Last year, we've seen btc at $3k but we still hold. Now is not the time to panic but see the good side and opporunity of it.
