1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 03, 2023, 08:56:29 PM

score has changed. Manchester United are now 1 goal ahead thanks to Casemiro's goal. and so the Manchester United Vs Bournemouth match now is 1-0. and I think Manchester United are now starting to get their game. and I think Manchester United can win by more than 1 goal.
For the Arsenal Game I chose to skip it. I thought the result would be a draw until the end.

My prediction is slightly different from yours. My prediction is Arsenal will win with a score of 1-0. Even though it looks like Arsenal are dominating. but Newcastle looks to be able to keep up with Arsenal's pattern of play. And I think in the second half we will see a different game and maybe a bit of a change of strategy from Newcastle and Arsenal.

I'm more afraid that Arsenal may end this as draw, the odd is tempting to stake but at the same time I'm having this weird feelings that Arsenal will score in second half. Statistically Arsenal controls the field but at the same time, it's difficult for Newcastle to make a goal. I was even expecting Nketiah to score in the first half of the match but ended up with a yellow card and now he has to be less aggressive on the field to avoid been remove with another yellow card.

The second half has begun, let's hope Saka put a goal in their neck otherwise it will be a second loss that Arsenal will get this season and Newcastle will be happy to brag about it because it been a while they won in the Emirates.

Ever since Ronaldo' left Manchester united,  united have been playing all their games well with a good result. If I should compare the performance and challenge in both teams, I think Manchester United is better,  all their player’s are doing better in performance.
Manchester united has already orove in their March during the weekend that they can do without Ronaldo.
I think Manchester United's performance is very independent of Ronaldo and this has nothing to do with Ronaldo because before Ronaldo left Manchester United, Ronaldo was also not fully played into the game, so Manchester United's appearance that has been seen so far was purely due to the efforts of the coach himself. who are still determined to change the way of playing for the better and now it is starting to show.

Rashford is a competent attacker before Ronaldo departed, so Manchester United would be fine statically with or without him. However, I can't speak of the club's internal matters or the players, especially how Eric has been backed by the management in his selections. Did you see what happened to Rashford last week when he was denied playing time against Nottingham Forest because he slept off? After seeing that, I started to believe everything Ronaldo said in the interview, it made me believe that Manchester United has an internal problem that they need to address especially now that they are bouncing back in every league they are playing.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 03, 2023, 03:28:05 PM

For Liverpool, until now, nothing is certain, especially since their performance in the regular league is very bad. Darwin Nunez, who was considered to be able to solve the club's needs, seemed unable to do anything, now perhaps their only hope is Cody Gakpo, who is now ready to fill in Liverpool's attack line.

Liverpool might show totally different performance from the EPL, there were many cases where a team managed to reach advanced rounds in CL while it was suffering in its local league, maybe because the nature of the competition is different. However, playing versus Real Madrid is something that no team wants to, because it's the legend of this tournament. Other teams' fans are still influenced by the last season when Real Madrid wasn't the favorable team to win nonetheless they won.

Looking at how the tournament ended, it was tight, and the players were all battling one another since it was the final, and they were all fighting for the cup, but this time, I believe the home and away factor will diminish the tension.
Real Madrid has a better chance of making it to the quarter-finals than Liverpool because, through experience, they have been here several times and scaled past strong opponents in the previous seasons. Another thing I see as a disadvantage for Liverpool is Mane's absence, to be honest, no one has been able to replicate what that man has done in his prime, even their most recent signee Cody, he is young, but he is not capable of doing what Mane would have done and yet they couldn't increase his wages.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 03, 2023, 03:04:22 PM
This weekend Madrid vs Villareal. They equally won in the last game. The hope is of course Madrid win and continue to follow Barcelona in the first position. Currently Madrid do not have many injured players, Benzema has also recovered ready to return to being a goal machine. Despite the history of the last two games they have always been drawn.
Tomorrow I support Madrid winning 2-0. In the hope that Barcelona made a mistake again. They will have a hectic schedule in the Copa del rey and against Atletico Madrid in the League.

Villarreal is one of the tough teams Real Madrid finds difficult to combat, it is either a draw or Madrid wins by a single goal, even the last time they met, they ended in a draw and Benzema wasn't present in that match, now that he is available, he will probably give Madrid the upper hand this time if we are to judge from what they played with Valladoli as Benzema scored two decent goals for Real Madrid.

I don't think Xavi is sleeping to allow what happened last time to repeat itself again, it would be a fool and a shame on his career because most of their main squad is back from the World Cup, and their performance hasn't been terrible as well because they haven't lost any matches I believe they will perform better when they face Atletico.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 03, 2023, 02:46:20 PM
True, this match is interesting to wait for both teams will compete for points , Arsenal and Newcastle have both only lost once, will one of them get a 2nd defeat? Arsenal are certainly more favored because they are playing at home but sometimes Newcastle can surprise us with unexpected results , my prediction is that both teams will score each other.

They both had a single loss match but Arsenal was able to confine its point by drawing a single match while New castle settle for seven matches all drawn which make them have less points and from their last five matches despite when Arsenal was having so much pressure last season, they only lose a single match to Newcastle and that Arsenal is defending Emirate, they are at advantage of winning this today's match, they may likely concede 1 goal

I predicted atleast a draw game despite the fact that majority of forum members here and many soccer analysts tipped Liverpool to defeat Brentford, however I had contrary view based on last season 3-3 draw between the two teams and the five previous unbeaten runs of matches by the host will motivate them to break the jinx of 80 years record, overall Liverpool had a bad game and prone to errors and one of those mistakes culminated to the own goal scored by Ibrahima Konate and could have even score more own goals, honestly Liverpool have to up their game to clinch top four spot.

I didn't think twice before I stake Liverpool against Brentford, I gave Liverpool a straight win because of their last matches but after carefully understanding the form of Liverpool, I stake another single bet and I gave Brentford a straight win and I auto sold the previous bet and I was glad I did because the Odd was big with Potential return. Liverpool needs a player like Mane right now.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 02, 2023, 09:57:50 PM
With only 25 points, Borussia Dortmund are currently ranked sixth in the German Bundesliga. The team has won eight games and lost six games, which is a lot of losses compared to their normal standard of performance. The way Borussia Dortmund have been playing this season has really caught my attention, since they are usually able to hold the second or third place in the German league every season and I am really surprised by how they have been playing this season. I think the coach will be able to find out their mistakes and work on them as soon as possible.

This is what confirms what elders say that you don't know the value of anything until they lose it, that is what Dortmund are facing right now in Bundesliga since they sold Halland to Manchester City and not that it was a free transfer but some cash facilitated that transaction because he is yet to finish his contract, now they are struggling to maintain what they were trying to seize from Bayern Munich to be the winner of the trophies. It may take a while before the coaches may realise his mistakes and by that time, they would probably be going to the Europa Conference League which other underperforming teams always go to at the end of the season.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 02, 2023, 09:30:45 PM
In the upcoming fixtures, the two clubs who are now top of the standings with the only difference from goal productivity will have a more difficult match. Real Madrid will visit Villarreal, and Barcelona will also have their away match against Atletico Madrid. Villareal and Atletico Madrid are difficult clubs to beat, this will be a threat for these two teams.
In my opinion now it is Barcelona who are not benefiting more than Real madrid this week, because Atletico Madrid is one of the clubs that usually puts pressure on them in the top 3, regardless of the decline they are experiencing now, but still this will be a very serious threat for Barcelona.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are the two most hottest and interesting teams right now, look at their statistics on the table, they have the same number of won matches, draw and loss that is why they both share the same points but their goal differences are determined who will be on top of the table, any winning match from the two teams would give a clear view of the winner we would have at the end of the day.

Real Madrid will likely win Villhareal than the way Barcelona would probably win Atletico, not because Real Madrid is better but because Everton will fight more than Villareal as Everton is closer to the top than Villahreal is to the top.

..............

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean some people hate it. Check the history of gambling and how it started, it all began with casinos in physical form before football became something of passion that supported and fans around the world now used as gambling, you cant mention gambling without casino games, they are very demanding in other parts of the world, in fact, there are people that would play Casino over sports and not because they don't like sports but they can't analyse it the way you can and they even have the skills to turn the gambling in their own favour instead of sports that have to depends on what the player do in the field.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 02, 2023, 08:42:00 PM
Tottenham have started a quite poor form recently. There is a significant decrease in their performance in their Premier League games and it has caused them to get negative results recently. I have started wondering how this form would reflect on their Champions League matchup against Milan. I know that there is still a long time until that but they don't look like good at all. Kane has still performed solidly and scored so many goals until now. But even his effort isn't enough as long as they don't stay strong as a team.

To say they battled so hard to knock Arsenal out of the top four in the English Premier League and qualify for the Champions League last season is an understatement, considering the last time they did it was around three years ago. Tottenham finished first in their group, however, it appears that the teams weren't as tough and demanding as other groups, and they didn't have as many points as even the most serious groupings tiers. Milan would most likely use them as a starter pack to go through the knockout stage.

Quote
We don't know about Milan's condition yet as they haven't played a Serie A game after the break ended. But if they have a better form until the first leg then I might start giving more chance to Milan about eliminating them. I'm still saying "might" because Milan didn't seem well against a big team in the group stage - Chelsea.

Seria A is enjoying the holidays more than even the most watched leagues, but judging by what Milan has been playing, there is no doubt that they would not win against Tottenham; it wasn't like Milan did their best, but Tottenham isn't any different, and as it appears with Milan's recent developments, they have a better chance of making it out of the knockout stage.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 08:01:25 PM
Perfect, Brentford managed to party at home today with a final score of 3-1 in Liverpool's defeat. They played like they should against a big team like Liverpool, yes it was defending and counter-attack and really they surprised everyone. 3-1 wasn't a score even Brentford had hoped for but they managed to beat Liverpool for maximum points at home.

So what now, Liverpool give a lot of hope to Tottenham in 5th place with a difference of 2 points. Their loss was a shock and I'm sure the bookies won big today. I actually don't know what Liverpool's weaknesses were today, but to be honest Ibrahima Konaté is not for blamed for the defeat even though the first and third goals were due to his mistakes.

Anyone would think Brentford would lose that match with what they played the last time in Anfield with Liverpool, it is their home and was also humiliating and that was expected but after that match, they improved lately, Brentford won and drawn in most of their matches than the losses, that's was what gave me good confidence that they will win Liverpool which turns out to be true.

Liverpool may want to push further, the inability to win has been a factor for Tottenham, I don't think they will be able to beat Crystal place in their next match, if Liverpool beat Wolves, they can meet up just that they need it to be by a big margin, winning their Next 3 matches is what they needed the most right now.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 05:43:42 PM
Brentford host Liverpool in today's match of the day. Brentford are playing well this year. Liverpool has to win the match to stay in the top 5. We can say that both teams have no problem in finding goals. I think we are in for a game with plenty of goals. It is possible that we will see goals from both teams. Liverpool will move up to 5th place if they win the match. They will want to start the year well.

The performance of Brentford is very low compare to what Liverpool has done in the last 5 matches if we include their friendly matches, they dont have a consistency, however, they have beat some hot teams like Manchester City even when they went to their home, the same Manchester City has beat Liverpool on the same month, I feel Liverpool wouldn't have it easy with this guys, it will likely end with draw because they are having the match in Middlesex, home of Brentford that they will likely protect it, even if they cannot win because of the humiliation they had with Liverpool in the Anfield.

1773  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income? New Start-Up Would Pay you to Share Personal Data on: December 30, 2022, 08:11:33 PM
Would you share personal your data to an ad company for a pay? The data will be used for advertising purposes where you can earn a cut of the revenue that the app generates from it. This data would include- what you buy or watch on your mobile device. For instance, a user could consent to sharing his ride-share history so advertisers could create segments of people who ride a certain amount. That would eventually pay consumers up to $50 a month. Can you do it? Could this be considered as a passive income?

News Source

This reminds me of a time when Facebook paid people to keep an APP on their phone without doing anything with the app in return, they will pay you $30 every month at the end of the month, which may be more than the amount as it depends on your location, I believe New York (US) were highly paid during that period to keep the app running in the background and some people were using VPN to bypass the restriction from forbid countries and after few months, they ended the loyalty program.

There are two sides to the outcome of a paid tester, the company may receive inaccurate data from people because most restricted users would want to use that opportunity to earn as well, and anyone who agrees to receive a penny for their privacy to be used as a lab rat does not value himself/herself, you are being paid because they need something from you, otherwise, they would have used their family members. We should value privacy above money.
1774  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 30, 2022, 07:10:20 PM
There's no excuses not to save no matter how low your salary is as long as you are determined to save. Yes, self-discipline and focus on your goal will make it work. However, if you just make a plan but without action plans, then it will remain a plan forever. Saving is hard, yes it is, but you can always make it happen if you have the high desires to work for it.

A dream will always remain a dream if you don't turn it into a goal. The goal must have a clear execution plan, otherwise it will not be achievable, and money is just a means to achieve our goal, money cannot be a valuable goal, because owning money will not make you happy, you need to understand why you need it. Therefore, it is important to understand why you save and then everything will work out, otherwise it will be a tedious process that you will soon abandon.

You can save all you want provided that life doesn't bring you unforeseen circumstances or what you don't expect, we have seen people who have enough wealth through their hard work and dedication only to be wiped out by a sickness they don't expect. Some people save money without checking on their health status, they think they are been dedicated and discipline not knowing they are even saving money that will end up being used to treat their health because they don't even bother to check their health status, they don't know that have cancer, they don't know they have a brain tumour, they don't know they have diabetes and these health challenges kills the purpose of saving.
1775  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mistakes Successful People Never Make Twice on: December 30, 2022, 06:51:50 PM
CONCLUSION: No one is perfect. We are born to make mistakes in our journey of life but making same mistakes often results to a total failure. We should always learn to avoid making repeated mistakes and also learn from our previous mistakes to correct our journey in life.

This appears to be a guide for a perfect person since these are the characteristics of people and it is impossible to find someone who does not have one or two of the highlights, it is what makes us unique. Life has a way of limiting our path to success through most of these things; it is natural. I can even vouch for myself that at some point in life, I have to make mistakes, and when I learn from those mistakes, my comeback always gives me extensions because I make sure it doesn't repeat itself, only a fool is beaten twice.
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 29, 2022, 07:10:58 AM
Madrid should have been looking for players to replace Benzema with good quality for a long time. but it seems that Madrid is not yet matched with a deadly striker. was once interested in the PSG striker, but it seems difficult to get him.
Benzema may be taking a long break, and Madrid is reportedly interested in recruiting players in the transfer market. but nothing seems to suit Madrid yet.

The decision to sign Mbape to Real Madrid was one that Real Madrid had been waiting for. They knew that Benzema would eventually retire, and they needed a young player. I believe Mbape was the perfect fit for that attack position, but his delusional reasoning and love of money prevented him from doing so. Though the boy is unquestionably skilled and no one would want to betray his country club(PSG) for Spain.

Both have same possibility. I meant real madrid will be going up if barcelona will not able to win against espanyol. Real madrid needs to win the next match caused by real madrid must not lose any points again. Public were seeing the matches from barcelona and real madrid as easy matches. I have expected full points to be earned by both and there would be no choice for real madrid other than staying at the second place and waiting for barcelona to lose some points.

Fear teams that are likely pushed to relegation, they are underrated sometimes because of their inability to move up but they are the type that wins over big teams at the top because they need the points to stay away from relegations more than the top 4 teams. Don't be surprised if Espanyol takes Barcelona by the horn, and if Real Madrid could win Valladolid, that is a chance to take back their place in the table.

it's obvious that Haland came to English premier league to steal and destroy. Have not seen any striker from other leagues that came to English premier league and settled the way Haland is going. Some always found it difficult within two years.
Arsenal has to be serious, because man city won't let them breathe. To me, Man city is still very favourite for the title, but if am to choose I'll give it to Arsenal.

Even though Guardiola knew his team was in good shape, they still went ahead to sign Haaland despite winning the Premier League title two years in a row. Haaland has accomplished many goals in a short period of time but has not done more than what he has done in Dortmund, though he has yet to reach that time in Manchester City. Let's hope he keeps it up since they might go close to Arsenal again.

I was surprised to see how much Arteta changed Arsenal, despite the criticism. Last season was a difficult one for him, but it has worked in his favour now. I can't even decide between them and Manchester City as the team that may win the Premier League this year.

We can see the price of Bitcoin is going down gradually but no one wants to understand it depends on your stock market it is also a digital currency through digital transactions and it is currently in bad condition Elon Musk said in 1 reply on Twitter.  Bitcoin is as cold as winter you have to wait for this of course bitcoin price may go up at the end of this winter so be patient everyone.  So if we all wait and if we all hold on to what we have, it's going to get $30,000 to $40,000 by the middle of the year and get to a very good price and it could get to a hundred if we hold it tight, so everybody's disappointed.  Let's save Bitcoin by holding instead.

Can we just have a bitcoin moment we used to have like the days Elon and other Institutional investors weren't here, it is hard to see bitcoin updates associated with one or two influencial person which is really bad, if you come to bitcoin because you like someone, I'm sorry to say that bitcoin is not for you.
Elon has literally sold almost his bitcoin, I don't know why he still runs his mouth to drag bitcoin even when MicroStrategy owns more bitcoin than him, they added about 2,500 today and you hardly see them tweet unnecessary tweets for bitcoin, he has had his time, he should rest. I don't blame him, they sold one of the biggest bitcoin platform for him to run his mouth like tap.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the need of Bitcoin being more divisible lead to a hard fork? on: December 28, 2022, 06:14:02 PM
Imagine the following scenario (that could possibly occur in decades):

Bitcoin becomes widely adopted, its marketcap surpass the dollar's, and it become so valuable that even a single satoshi is worth more than, for example, a couple of pens, a bottle of water, etc.

In that case, payments for small amounts wouldn't be possible even with second layer solutions such as LN, because even a single satoshi would be more valuable than the price of the product. There would be a need for Bitcoin to be more divisible, for it to be broken down into even smaller parts.

Would such need to use smaller denomination units (smaller than satoshi) require a hard fork? Can someone shed some light into it?

There has never been in the history of bitcoin that a hard fork bitcoin has ever become successful, the ones they did in the early days of bitcoin and the ones they did in the all-time high price of bitcoin to date have not reached the half potential of bitcoin talk more of doing what they are been created for. A hard fork of bitcoin is not necessary nor indispensable, it will make some bitcoin holders if they airdrop it for them but it will mostly enrich some Cartels who will create such fork coins, we have seen it in the past and they didn't it age well. Look at BitcoinCash creator, Craig Wright, he ended up scamming people with his fake Bitcoin only to come back again to say that he is the real Satoshi, a very dishonest person.  Huh

..............

Your shop is very well organized in that customers don't have to complicate in and out of ways into your business center, if you really have bicoiners, you will be patronized, my only concerns are the payment platform and the lawmaker overriding CBN with that bill.

If you look at Bitcoin, it is measured in USD and for people to pay for your business, they have to pay transaction fees and make sure they are sats that can quickly confirm in the next block and if they are to do that in this case, they will be spending much in this Christmas because the Mempool is always congested and paying about $1 which is equal to #700 is really a big amount of money in Nigeria as fees.

Nigeria Politicians are picky and follow nepotism when they want to pass the bill and a vote, no doubt some of them own bitcoin and they are trying to pass the bill so that CBN wouldn't have authority over bitcoin but I think this bill will likely get rejected as only a few of them may likely want to pass this bill. If the bill becomes passed, I wish you success in your business
