1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Brickblock.io 🚀 - JOIN THE REVOLUTION OF ASSET TOKENIZATION 💥 on: September 29, 2018, 01:32:31 PM

Why did the price suddenly jump?
I'm not aware of any news, I haven't see any updates for the project but I did look up to my wallet and saw the price keeps growing. I do know the project has the potential which is why I kept the tokens. Seem unusual that a pump will start in some underdog token like this one.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why so many peoples belived in pump 2018? on: September 29, 2018, 01:24:57 PM
Its what we invest for Smiley

People invest to profit just like the businessman who wants return after making some hope for the project success, these investors are wishing it will come true that price will be pumped like last year. Though it may not happen the hope is there and next year is another renewed hope for us until we hit the right year.
1763  Economy / Economics / Re: Swiss Financial Services Company Raises $100 Million to Launch Crypto Bank on: September 28, 2018, 06:13:49 AM

The existing banks can easily try to accept and create their own exchange to be relevant, I think this will happen all of a sudden if one bank becomes successful after they offer crypto and fiat banking. Its going to bubble so much once again. They are never going to let themselves obsolete in the finance industry. I think there are already crypto bank projects doing ICO.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: September 28, 2018, 05:58:14 AM
I can't do long term hodl yet because I only have a small capital. What I am doing is to settle for short term hodl and then buy another coin for investment. I keep on doing the same scenario until I have the capital to play for long term hodl. That is my strategy so far and its working on my end. The secret is to be patient. There is no need to panic and rely on your own instincts.
That's exactly what you say. I strongly agree with your strategy for investment. especially for short-term investments. Indeed, all of that needs a process to find big capital. And if someone wants to follow your strategy, of course that person must have high patience so as not to panic when something happens to the altcoin that is invested.

If you are a short term investor, you can just do it all the time by buying at every dip of a coin. right now is actually a great time to become a scalper that you'd like to buy and sell and going it everyday because the market is in seesaw. my suggestion is to do it with XRP because its good to have a about $2000 and keep profiting at every spike of its price.
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Bull market trends on: September 28, 2018, 05:21:00 AM
Market is getting good, BTC has maintained its price which it didn't fall below $6k. Right now its also spikes up, this is a good indication that the bulls are getting stronger. It may not be the start of the bull market but just retracing its way it could go dip again so the bull run we we are waiting isn't yet confirmed. Price usually goes up by year end so that gives up hope.
1766  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: September 26, 2018, 07:57:00 AM
I believe in blockchain. This technology is proven to be one of the most helpful and will be in the future tech.

The problem with helping is that you will suddenly be known and those relatives you see who never really took notice of you will come running to you. You may feel proud of it but when you one day say no, you are not going to be forgiven. People will be talking behind you. I knew this because I experience this myself. I even bought expensive equipment for a relative that isn't close to me, glory is there but after it, nothing. They will even ask for gasoline and maintenance for the machinery.

If you have to give, be anonymous. I think that is more noble than enjoying fame.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price leaps nearly 20%, leaves investors confused on: September 26, 2018, 07:41:29 AM
Price may come down faster than it spike but it will go up over and over because of the finance institution going to buy XRP for its usage. It will just matter now of whether you want to ride this train or not but this will seriously give a good profit for those who will keep betting on XRP. The speculation of it going more than a hundred may not really happen this year but its going to keep going up.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: September 26, 2018, 05:21:20 AM

If you are in need of money, I think you will have to sell at loss but if not you may keep it till is price go up. It happened that I waited for months as well but after the waiting the price didn't go up much so I decided to sell because after all it BTC that keeps rising. If you see the price ain't moving and the team is not giving much information of the progress of the project, let it go. It will only give you stress if you keep asking whats new and monitoring the channels of the team.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: September 26, 2018, 04:44:52 AM

They are not just into Mobile data but also roaming market like the bubbletone?

People all over the world are already using mobile, some do even have 2 to 3 phones at hand while on the go. Mobile phones are the future, like me I can't live without it. DENT and Bubbletone will be used, it only needs adoption which will happen soon.
1770  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICO Regulations in the Philippines on: September 26, 2018, 04:39:40 AM
The Philippines might be another Japan in the making when it comes to cryptocurrency because the government continued its crypto-friendly attitude. It has taken a positive stance on the crypto space recently, having established a blockchain and fintech hub in the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) in late April. Aiming to create an Asian “Silicon Valley,” the authorities have allowed some blockchain and crypto firms to operate in the zone. The Philippine SEC has also approved the draft rules for ICO and this action will pave the way for legalization of cryptocurrencies in this southeast asian nation.
Philippines is one of the country where unemployment rate is very high and even many parties came and struggling to rectify this problem and we knows that Filipinos are most constantly involving in the crypto related projects like ICO investments, trading and even bounty hunting many projects have emerged from those country as well so government thinks this is an opportunity to decrease the unemployment rate by regulating it in their country. But it will be big amaze if Filipinos are going to accept cryptos as the regular day to day currency like Japan.
Its good for a country like Philippines to engage crypto currency  because there are lots of benefits that would contribute to the development of business and entrepreneurs in the country side, to become independent financial stability, which also encourage people to venture investment through Internet, the security and exchange commision  doing their job to promulgate a guide line to protect the ICO's patrons.

Its not just the cryptocurrency that should be used in this country, blockchain will really be a useful tool for almost every government system. I'm from Philippines and I think Filipinos will agree about the corruption in the country. Blockchain technology might be the solution to solve issues like the election system and accounting system in the government now that FOI (freedom of information) was signed.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum loosing No2 Position on CMC????? on: September 25, 2018, 04:24:40 PM
ETH and XRP were taking over each other several times in the past so its not surprising already. But for someone who just hold tokens, the position of coins on marketcap doesn't matter its the price. Is ETH that will win we want these two to battle for the position because its ETH that has demand for the people because everyone now needs ETHin their wallet unlike XRP which they haven't had demands except them hyping the news.

1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ICOs trend stop in 2019 on: September 25, 2018, 03:58:45 PM
ICO trend may slow for awhile until they can find a way to be approved by SEC of the country. Once the team is approved I think they can then do an ICO but this time I think its going to have less scam for they are going to be held liable so they can't get away with millions if they attempt to scam since they are not anonymous anymore.
1773  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways to Earn little money from bitcoin monthly. on: September 25, 2018, 03:30:27 PM

I use to write articles for the ICO project. If you like writing articles, there are hundred projects that needs article promotion today and there are thousand more project coming which is an opportunity for someone who wants to earn bitcoin every month. You'd have to be very good at it though because you'll get more stake when you can create high quality.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS THE BOUNTY HUNTER THE CAUSE OF THE SUDDEN PRICE CRASH OF A TOKEN OR COIN? on: September 24, 2018, 07:56:26 AM
Distributed bounties aren't just the cause of the price getting lesser but is adds the market pressure. You will have to consider that the investors are not just individuals who will hold and wait for the project to be developed. The project isn't up and running yet which is why the developers are asking for the fundings which means there isn't yet some thing that will cause the price to rise up. Its going to be normal for a token's price to depreciate when investors take profit from the bonuses they get upon being an early investor.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin has been your best investment? on: September 24, 2018, 07:45:39 AM
the one that i got most profit was i think bnb token. it increased very nice and kept its strength even during that fall. i wish i would invest in only binance token i wouldnt lost so much during this bearish run so far.
Ripple Ripple Ripple. developing capabilities owned Ripple is able to generate more profits with investments.
so I strongly support for investment against the Ripple.

Its also one of my biggest investment. Almost 1000x profit I got from XRP because I'm one of those who invested to it since the price was below $0.05. Although it took years of holding, its worth the time taking the profit after several years after it pumped itself up last year. I do have accumulated since that time and those investors to XRP today may once again become richer when all the speculations happen as the project is about to get ripe for adoption.
1776  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Switch to Proof Of Stake? on: September 24, 2018, 07:39:40 AM

Miners are part in the consensus, it would be a waste when it comes to the devices manufactured and huge farms invested to these mining devices. If in case they turned into POS, BCH I think will be more profitable for them and a lot might shift to it including the merchants accepting BTC. This is just my opinion but I guess this can happen if BTC indeed goes POS.

1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers on the rampage again, 59M $ Stolen on: September 24, 2018, 07:34:54 AM
This isn't just bad for the investors who lost money, but the crypto in general. Is has already received negative press from previous hacks and this is just making matters worse. It will scare newbies away at a time when we need new blood
New like this happens a lot and there's not much we can do about it. hacks happen, yes it is bad press but there not much we can do,execpt keep on supporting bitcoin and crypto in general.

This won't impact much to the market price as it had plummet down to its ground but if it does, it going to be a good thing for those who are waiting for the price to drop again. Its been a constant reminded to everyone here in the forum not to put more coins in your exchange as there is no secure way as long as its accessible in the internet page. Hackers will find a way.
1778  Other / Meta / Re: Most annoying word of forum on: September 22, 2018, 04:26:15 PM
"Sir" is derived from the word "Sire", or "seigneur" in some other countries, and it was a form of address used when talking to a feudal lord, possibly a knight or a baronet. It was used by the serfs. It doesn't really have a use in the modern world other than as an obsequious form of address used by a shop assistant or waiter.

I think Sir is usual in Virginia, they use it for respect so you might have to reconsider after all its not just the people there who uses it. Its good to know where the word came from though. Some people also don't like themselves to be called sir as it means master which religious people only believe the rabbi are the only that should be called sir.

What annoys me is the phrase "interesting project". For someone who says so should also support as to why they find it interesting.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Malta is the most favored Location for Crypto Exchanges? on: September 21, 2018, 05:23:52 AM

Yep I've read the article about the countries adopting crypto and Malta is the number of one. It would be reasonable for the crypt exchange to establish offices and probably move their main office in Malta. I guess if we all are going to be richer one day, we'd probably be setting up meeting in the country. Their government went ahead to approach the adoption of the virtual currencies.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ripple is so popular? on: September 21, 2018, 04:49:27 AM
Just because a coin is currently enjoying a pump doesn't mean it's popular. I can find little reason for the current pump so suspect a price fall in the coming days or weeks for XRP. As for its overall popularity it interacts with some major banks and despite lots of discern about the not so decentralized nature of XRP it can easily attract many investors.

Its on the top 3 of the coinmarketcap, it should be popular than any coin below it, were not just talking about the marketcap but how known it is to the people here in the forum and to the traders. IT has been fud over and over for years but XRP stand still, I have been reading the XRP speculation thread for years and see people replying to it being too centralized and why it will fail. Regardless of which ever is the truth behind it, the coin arises and maintained its position on top.
