1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: The ideal price of bitcoin is $557.714,00 on: July 22, 2023, 01:38:18 PM
I don't know about others, but personal I don't consider Bitcoin to be the next generational Gold. Bitcoin has its own uniqueness and things that could possibly make it better than gold which it is already judging by your price calculation, which I really don't understand how come about them. The price of Bitcoin today's has no relationship with Gold I also don't think it should be compared. As Bitcoin is far more valued than Gold which is as a result of increase in demand.

But if you look at it, in the era we have today Bitcoin can be called Digital Gold, why? because you can mine him to have Bitcoin by buying mining rigs that don't need to dig the ground first, and destroy nature just to have gold. Mining rigs are quite expensive.

Although literally speaking they are not really the same at the same place but they are both okay for long-term investment in truth, especially if that amount of price happensto Bitcoin in the near future.

“Bitcoin is digital gold”, in fact only some people use the term, and bitcoin is bitcoin and not anything else. As we all know, gold is considered the rarest and most valuable asset, so it is not surprising that many people compare bitcoin to gold to honor the value of bitcoin. But there is a mistake that many people start to abuse it, they seek to slander gold, disparage gold and exaggerate bitcoin.

To be frank, these two asset classes are completely different, and not entirely appropriate to compare them. One physical asset, one virtual asset and both have different use cases. Comparison results should only be considered for fun, not based on it and affirming which is better.

Not only do we need to be patient, but we also need to take advantage of buying opportunities if the market continues to fall in the near term until the real bull season arrives.
Yes, I did buy with the DCA strategy, but it seems to need some mental arrangements especially if bad news comes often which makes us to sell the assets immediately. What are your though? how to arrangements it?

Once we have determined it is a long term investment and we are investing the money we can lose. There is no reason to panic when bad news comes and causes the market to crash. Like last year when Luna crashed and then FTX, I was mostly unafraid, and conversely, I'm excited with those black swans because they create the best DIP buying opportunity during bear season.
Given what's going on, it doesn't look like we're going to have another big crash, but if it continues, I'll keep buying, I don't see anything to fear if bitcoin falls below $20k again.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 22, 2023, 10:37:46 AM
Bangladesh W vs India W
Today is the third and the last ODI between these two teams. The series is equal by 1-1. And today match is the final match and which team will win the match will win the series too. So according to the current situation Bangladesh already played its turn and made 225 runs means gave 226 runs target to India. And now the India women team is playing. And made 70 runs in just 11 overs with the lost of 2 wickets. Here India team is looking strong. Jemimah Rodrigues is still waiting for its turn. In the last match she surprised everyone. She made 86 runs and got 4 wickets. And also was the player of the match. I think India will win this match.
Bangladesh women's team is performing very well in terms of bowling at present. However, the Bangladeshi players have some gaps which need to be filled as many runs are lost due to fielding misses. Bangladesh should keep the pressure on the bowling side as the India women's team has progressed quite well in terms of runs. Especially the match between India and Bangladesh is tied at 1-1 so the team that can win today will win the series. But today's game will be very competitive as everyone will try to win. India women's wicket must fall for Bangladesh team to win.

Indian women are ahead in this match. Right now, the match is being delayed because of rain. Bangladesh has given the Indian women, a target of 226. Before the rain break, India needed 52 runs from 72 balls. We have to remember that the Indian women’s team still has six wickets in hand. So this should not be a big problem for them. Let’s see if the match resumes. I don’t think even if this match does resume Bangladesh will actually have any chance to win. There will have to be a big magic from Bangladesh to actually win this match. And I don’t think that type of miracle is actually happening.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 21, 2023, 05:34:05 PM
We agree, that Osimhen will not leave Napoli. the problem is, it's not that the club doesn't want to let him go in this summer's transfer window. however, not many clubs are willing to propose to Osimhen at a very fantastic price. so, that's why Osimhen is most likely to stay in the Serie A League. Speaking of Real Madrid, there is a lot of speculation that says Madrid must look for options to replace the successor to the benzema succession. but in fact, so far Madrid have not made any moves in the transfer window to sign striker number 9.
To be honest I don't know what Madrid are planning, because so far there have been lots of rumors and wild speculations until now. it could be, if in the end Madrid will negotiate with PSG for Mbappe. or as Florentino Perez said, that he won't sign another striker because they have Joselu. But anything can happen, because in football there is a lot of uncertainty. besides this summer transfer window still leaves time, we'll see if Perez is interested in Mbappe in this window, or...
Napoli's expected value for Osimhen is too high to be true, but it is a good strategy so that Osimhen does not leave Napoli during the open transfer window. Osimhen is good to get the opportunity to play in elite European clubs such as in several Premier League, La Liga or Ligue 1 teams, but for his high value it is difficult to get him to move easily from Napoli.

There are only a few teams that can bring in Osimhen with such a fantastic value, but I never hope Real Madrid to be willing to pay Napoli that much just for Osimhen. It makes more sense to pay Kylian Mbappe 200 million euros instead of paying Napoli 180 million euros for Osimhen. But the current value of star players is really crazy.

Real Madrid, being a prominent club, is no stranger to circulating rumors. But in recent times, the rumours are a little too much. And I think as long as Mbappé’s not joining the Real Madrid squad, the rumours are going to keep spreading. Even if Real Madrid adamantly denies any intentions to acquire additional players, one can hardly expect the media to take their word for it. Or even if they do believe, and they are still going to spread rumours about them bringing in Mbappé. I and obviously that is done very intentionally so that they can get good views.

I actually do not like the idea of Real Madrid, not bringing in any other striker. I thought even if they cannot bring in Mbappé, they will still bring either Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 21, 2023, 03:44:03 PM
Many good players have been created at Dortmund, and it has become a natural thing when Dortmund is called a selling club because, basically, when Dortmund manages to score good players, many other clubs will be targeted by other clubs, for example when Erling Haaland was still at Dortmund. and bought by Manchester City. If Bayern Munich wants to improve their playing conditions on the field, then they really have to try to get good players at a young age from Dortmund.
In the past, they managed to get a lot of players from Dortmund. Even a Bayern Munich legend like Lewandowski has Borussia Dortmund in his past. Borussia Dortmund is one of the world's leading teams in finding great players. Bayern can take this side of them as an example.
@Hvdv Bayern doesn’t really focus on grooming player’s rather they always like shopping from Dortmund and in the past it was really bizarre to see Dortmund sell to their closet competitor and had they not sold their best player’s to Bayern then I’m that they would have won many title’s till now. Furthermore in the absence of Jude it’ll be interesting to see if they can yet compete because I have a feeling that their performance will deteriorate and they’ll struggle to finish in the top 4 too.

For quite some time now, Dortmund has been going head to head with Bayern Munich for the title. It's clear that they're set on sticking to their strategy, which is all about the money. However, I doubt this approach will last. If they were truly open to change, they would have done so ages ago. It's clear that they're not interested in changing their ways. They would have won the title if they didn't keep selling the players they need. If they stop doing that, they will perform better and have a stronger chance against Bayern Munich.

It doesn't matter how much money they are being offered, Bayern Munich is currently a formidable force. They have the ability to acquire any player, even from their rivals. It is Dortmund's responsibility to retain their necessary players, at least until a suitable replacement is secured.
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: July 21, 2023, 04:21:47 AM
The Bitcoin halving time is happening in block 840,000, which is predicted time on April 26, 2024. Still, 270 days left, but I'm sure between times, there will be lots of drama which make the price jump or down sharply, so we have to be ready for any situation. Maybe at this time, some whales trying to create bad news so they can buy at a cheap price. Or maybe any government tries to jump the price because they already bought at the bottom moment. So anything change can happen, a little trader and holder must be patient to do not follow their path, if you can, then you are the winner of all the drama.

You must always have a plan and be ready for any situation at any time, not just focus on when we are approaching the halving. The cryptocurrency market is dramatic and volatile on a daily basis and does not follow any rules. Furthermore, although the halving event is approaching, the 4-year cycle is not over yet, so it is normal to see more volatility and stronger downtrends. Not only do we need to be patient, but we also need to take advantage of buying opportunities if the market continues to fall in the near term until the real bull season arrives.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Bitcoin Wallets ? on: July 21, 2023, 03:38:30 AM
Good evening,
Which hot wallets are top in your opinion?
As long as you choose an open source and non-custodial wallet, you should be safe with it. But if you are a newbie and need to find a wallet that ensures all safety, security and ease of use criteria, then I think Electrum is your choice. I have also used many wallets for both phones and laptops but in the end, I chose Electrum because it has everything I need. But it's a bit of a pity that it still doesn't have an iPhone version, and since I switched to iPhone, I can only use my Electrum on my laptop.

Either way, you should still consider owning a hardware wallet as it is still the safest option.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 21, 2023, 03:29:26 AM
I prefer bear markets, actually. I'm not planning to sell my Bitcoin anytime soon. And buying it at a higher price is not the best feeling when you bought it cheaper before.

Not many people will think like you, although many say both markets are important but I believe more than 80-90% of people prefer the bull season to the bearseason. If you follow the discussion in the speculative section, you will see that people are expecting bitcoin to recover and rally this year rather than expecting more drops. I even suspect many people are saying that the bear season is good and they will take time to buy more, I believe they are not expecting a prolonged bear season and are just praying for the market to recover.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency comes close to bitcoin? on: July 21, 2023, 03:20:00 AM
Bitcoin would be there even tho it would be more rare to get in the future. But as long as the exchange exist the liquidity would be there.

but if you want to diversify i would pick both of etherum and cardano because both are the long standing altcoin and community or dev keep develop the coin but i think the problem with eth is has unlimited supply rather than cardano but eth seems have burning mechanism so maybe it will be hit different
Even if ETH doesn't move to POS and doesn't have a burn mechanism, it's still a top altcoin and worth investing in. I don't think supply is too much of an issue for ETH based on what it brings to the market, keep in mind its potential and value are huge before it even has a token burn mechanism. But for comparison and as an alternative to bitcoin, both are not worthy because bitcoin is unique and no one can compare. Bitcoin's decentralization creates an unmatched security that no other altcoins can match.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 02:03:17 PM
Holiday for Harden, that's a bad idea because Holiday plays at both ends of the floor, unlike Harden, who does not play good defense. When the Bucks won a championship, I believe Holiday was one of the big reasons why it happened. So, I don't think it's necessary to break up their lineup just because they had an early exit last playoffs. I believe it's part of the game, and they just have to continue developing their chemistry as they are still considered a championship team.

Well honestly, both options can be explored. They can break up the team because probably if they bring in a new player he will be able to do well with the team and the team might also have a better chemistry with the new player.

But at the same time, I believe it might actually be better if they do not break up the team. Of course, there can be one bad season. But I think they should try again and not lose hope so early. It is not going to be a bad idea for them to try to continue improving the chemistry between the team without changing players. But of course, we are not the ones in charge. Let’s see what they do.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 10:49:02 AM
I thought that there is a trade already involving James Harden.

Someone that I talk last night says that he is going to the Bucks in exchange of Holiday. But so far I can't find any news of it so maybe he is just playing with me. Nevertheless I'm going to see him tomorrow so I'm going to tell him that it's not true, Lol.

In any case though, do you guys think that it's a good trade for the Bucks to let go of Jrue to get Harden?

I am hearing that the only team he is actually interested in going to is the Clippers. I don't know if this news is 100% true. I think it can be a good trade for the Bucks to get Harden. Of course, they will let go of Jrue if they do that. But I still think that it might be a good idea. But there are a lot of news going around about Harden. I am just not sure about which news to trust to be honest.

Teams outside of the LA Clippers are reportedly not engaged with the Philadelphia 76ers

Most of the young players of Bangladesh might've got inspired by him. As we say Tendulkar as the God of cricket, Shakib Al Hasan is a person who had to be praised for what he had done for the Bangladesh cricket. There'll be issues between the players and the cricket board. His ban for the reason of making deal with a gambling firm have received warnings earlier. As said by @Sithara007 here we can't blame anyone. He's near his retirement, before retiring he needs to be given opportunity in all formats of cricket.
The one-year ban handed out to him was unfair, IMO. There is a lot of involvement from bookies in the IPL, and even franchise owners were involved in fixing matches. But in the end, only two people got punishment for their role - Sreesanth and Shakib. And no proof was found against these two players and they were acquitted by the court. During the investment process, BCB never offered any sort of support for Shakib. Anyway, now he is well past his prime and the management need to make sure that younger players are able to replace him in the near future.

I think we have talked about this before. But I am going to say this again because I want as many people as possible to know this. The reason why Shakib Al Hasan was banned was because the Bangladesh cricket board wanted to remove Mashrafe Mortaza from the captaincy at that time. And they were not being able to do that with Shakib Al Hasan having an influence.

Of course, I also think that BCB actually provided the news and the proof (by proof I mean the WhatsApp messages that Shakib Al Hasan got from Agarwal in which Shakib Al Hasan never even replied to) to the ICC. And Shakib Al Hasan was not banned because actual evidence was found about him, fixing matters or anything. He was banned because he was just approached by a bookie. So after that ban, Shakib Al Hasan went to England. And at that time, the Bangladesh cricket board removed Mashrafe Mortaza from the captaincy, which was basically his retirement. The problem was not the BCB president I believe. The problem was the others on the selection board and the directors like Akram, Nannu, etc. They knew very well that, if Mashrafe Murtaza actually had enough power over the cricket board, which I believe he would have had eventually, they were in trouble because they were not doing anything good for that team.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 19, 2023, 10:35:35 AM

You don't need Bitcoin first, What you need is a JOB, work on that first.

Very useful advice, but I don't think many people will do this, even though many have the wrong mindset that investing and trading bitcoin can be the main job. They think bitcoin can save them from unemployment and give them income without having to work much.

Indeed, if someone is unemployed with a steady income, they are still struggling with every meal of the day and have no savings. It's best never to think about investing in bitcoin because it won't make them any better. Investing is only thought of when we already have savings, and even if that investment loses, it doesn't affect us because investing is risky.
1774  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 19, 2023, 10:17:33 AM
Luxury watches at the top end of the market can be considered as an alternative form of investment. While I don't possess extensive knowledge about watches, my understanding from available information suggests that reselling them can yield a substantial profit. The return on investment for luxury watches tends to be quite satisfactory. Prominent examples of such watches include Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, some of which have a waitlist spanning two years. Most of these watches tend to appreciate in value.

However, the worth attributed to an item is typically influenced by its demand and supply. While I believe that owning one or two high-end watches, provided they are well-maintained, may outperform stocks, gold, and real estate, it's worth noting that their appeal may diminish over time. This is because future generations are increasingly gravitating towards other interests, such as bitcoin and other emerging trends. If given the choice, would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin, digital assets, gold, stocks, or real estate?

I will rather go for Bitcoin. Luxury watches may look like a treasure but not as valuable as Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the potential of making thrice of your initial fund within months. If you can hold Bitcoin with patient, I'm sure you will definitely smile at last when the profit comes.
Have you ever been in the luxury watch business? I haven't had a chance to do that either because we need a lot of money to get started, but I've had a chance to see a few people do business with it, and the profits they make are not small. It's a business, and if you can do it well, its returns are even many times bigger than bitcoin investment. Profit from investment or from business depends on your ability, it does not depend entirely on the assets you hold. You will also lose money investing in bitcoin if you don't have complete knowledge about it.

Ive also watched some documentaries about those businesses that sell rare and luxurious watches in New York. Most of them also accept Bitcoin as their payment method, and most of their clients are rich, influencers, big politicians, and mostly wealthy people from other countries. They are making a big and even pandemic hit, but they still have clients purchasing it. Meaning this kind of business is really good if we know it, but again, we are not knowledgeable on this kind of business and also need huge capital, so we prefer to choose bitcoin as we already have background on it.

Bitcoin will still be more suitable for all of us because it is easy for us to invest in it, even for low income people. However, we should also not exaggerate about bitcoin and disparage other businesses. Bitcoin has brought wealth to many people, but that number is insignificant compared to the entrepreneurs who have succeeded in the world through business and investment in other fields. Bitcoin is an opportunity for us to catch up with the rich, but don't underestimate them and brag when we don't have any significant results yet.

The performance of Bangladesh against New Zealand in home conditions has been commendable. Consequently, there is a strong belief that Bangladesh holds a good chance to prevail in the upcoming series. Notably, Bangladesh has an impressive track record against New Zealand in the ODI series hosted in Bangladesh, having achieved notable victories and even securing whitewashes. Such achievements foster optimism for the forthcoming contest. However, it remains uncertain if Bangladesh will emerge victorious due to current issues within their cricket team. Rectifying these problems becomes imperative for any real possibility of success against New Zealand.
Let's see what can they do in the New Zealand tour. Although all the statics will be the against of  Bangladesh if they played on the outside of their home ground.
There is no doubt that Bangladesh are very strong at home ground with any team, but I was disappointed with their performance against Afghanistan in odi format. Although the T20 series win gave some relief. But I think in terms of wins in the New Zealand series I think the New Zealand team will be ahead of Bangladesh, maybe it seems that Bangladesh is coming back as a whitewash. I will not blame any issue within their team for this, because it has happened before. But as a Bangladeshi supporter I hope they played some good performance on this series to recover the previous performance.

The recent performance of Bangladesh is a big reason for concern. If they cannot win against Afghanistan, how can they win against bigger opponents like New Zealand, India, and Australia? Of course, there are problems in the Bangladesh cricket team right now. But that is not an excuse. That can never be an excuse for anything.

I also think that Bangladesh are also putting the senior players on a pedestal too much. It is okay if they do that with Shakib Al Hasan and it was also okay if they did that with Mashrafe Mortaza. But doing that to every senior player is probably not the right thing. Honestly, I do not think Tamim Iqbal is actually deserving of the captaincy of Bangladesh. Probably they do not have a good replacement for him and that’s why they are doing this. But they should concentrate on producing players, who can replace them instead of trying to think they are going to perform forever

So, is it true that next season Morata will play at Milan? Because it seems that so far Morata is still part of Atletico. But yes, regarding Morata performance indeed, at least i also have the view that Morata is not a player who can be relied upon to score many goals. Because after all, it looks like Morata might only be intended to be bait or trick the opponent's defense line. Because in that way, Morata can open space for his teammates to score goals. But even so, that doesn't mean Morata can't score goals, because as a striker of course, the main thing is to have the good skills to score goals.
He is not goin tu AC Milan, the rumors is, the clubs that interested to him is  Inter Milan.Well another news reported if Morata would soon join AS Roma. Even though Morata rarely scores goals, he will still make a good contribution to Roma. Some of the media that I have read, Morata is willing to cut his salary if AS Roma is serious.

They are just too much about his transfer recently. I don't know if it is going to be a good idea to trust the media right now with his transfer Because the media can certainly say a lot of things which might not be true. I also heard that he was going to Inter Milan. But now I am not sure. I also do not see any official news as of now. So I actually cannot say anything for sure.

But I can say that it will probably not be the best idea for him to go to Roma. First of all, he might have to take less salary. He will also have competition in Roma. For the player, it will probably be best if he goes to Milan in my opinion. Because the club needs strikers right now. So it will probably be the best decision for him. But being the main striker also brings in the burden of performance.

Bangladesh team will participate in World Cup cricket after New Zealand ‍series. So Bangladesh team will try to give the best in the series. Although the statistics of victory of Bangladesh team against New Zealand is very less. Still Bangladesh team will try to play a competitive series with them. Almost all the teams are strong in the World Cup so there is no option to beat the good teams to survive in the place like world cup. I think Bangladesh team will try to play in the same way with New Zealand.

Bangladesh finished in style with a six.
With this win, their winning streak is extended from 2 to 3 as after losing first two ODI's they are back with bang and their confidence level is also high first t20 was close one, but this time things are completely change and bowlers and batsmen done good job which helps them for having good return.

Now we have just one match left in this series with after this surely needs to settle internal issues which are important because in near future we have two big events where they need to perform better and having good chemistry and winning combination is surely going to help them in this case Shakib-Al-Hassan is still important player for them, he needs to be led from front which will surely increase confidence of the youngster and team in future.

This series against Afghanistan is over. Bangladesh will be playing against New Zealand in the next ODI series. It will be a three-match series against New Zealand. After that, they will be playing in the World Cup.

Now, I do agree that they have a lot of internal problems to solve. I don’t know if it will be a good decision to make Liton Das the captain of Bangladesh in the World Cup. People are saying that with Tamim Iqbal in the team, Bangladesh will be stronger. But I don’t know about that as well. To be honest, after Mashrafe bin Mortaza, I have not seen a good captain who is worthy of taking the leadership of Bangladesh cricket team. Shakib Al Hasan makes mistakes while making important decisions at crucial times. Tamim Iqbal is just not a good captain.

You will find that coins with a lower circulating supply tend to do quite well. Obviously a coin needs to have top devs & a good level of trust all around it.

I definitely prefer to buy low supply coins over seemingly infinite supply coins.

Something that is more scarce usually does better than something with a large supply although there are exceptions.

That's not necessarily true because creating a coin with a finite supply is not so difficult. The price of a coin depends on many factors, and in which demand is the main factor, if the coin supply is limited, but the demand is not high, its value will never increase. Conversely, even if a coin has an infinite supply but a very high demand for it, its value will still increase over time. The best example is ETH, ETH has an infinite supply, and its value is increasing daily. In short, supply is not what determines the value of a coin.
There are many factors, right and one factor that affects the price is also the potentiality of the project. Well, we can say that supply matters also because as we can see, many projects that have a huge circulating supply never grow fast. ETH is different from other projects which is why I can't compare this to others as it was special and considered the king of altcoins. But if we are talking about the others that have an infinite supply, I wasn't seeing them grow, they only just pump during the bull season.

I'm not saying supply isn't important, but it's not the only factor that determines a project's potential. Why do you say ETH is different when it has an unlimited supply? Because it was successful? It is also an altcoin, and in the past many bitcoin investors despised it, but now they cannot deny its success. I guess you are one of them, you only accept ETH when it succeeds, and you missed your chance with it.

As for alternative investing, it's more of a speculative market than an investment. So I wouldn't care too much about the supply or the use case... as long as it can make a profit, I will never ignore it.
