1761  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Singapore will not ban cryptocurrency on: February 08, 2018, 05:24:43 PM

Singapore's Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said the country's government will "not ban" cryptocurrency.
In Asia, Japan and Singapore are the best markets for cryptocurrency and blockchain in recent years. In China, Vietnam, Indonesia banned bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, Singapore was very active in developing Blockchain and cryptocurrency markets.
If that is true then it is good for the crypto currency future because singapore is one of the most developed country so many countries will follow their decision. But many countries didn't ban the crypto currenxies there are so much of rumors created by the bitcoin haters whuch created FUD among the investors and resulted in price fall.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: February 08, 2018, 10:52:39 AM
Bitcoin is not legal nor illegal too in my country, still no information about anythig so I can use bitcoin anywhere I want and I am not payin any specific taxes for crypto currencies. So the legality is based on where you are living but even if it is illegal it is free to use since it is decentralised technology so no one can track us,only they will find us if we are buying or selling the bitcoin.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Token for investment on: February 08, 2018, 09:26:03 AM
Suggest me the best ico token for investment.
There is no best ICO to invest because ICO investments are too risky and there is no guarantee that we can get the ICO price or more of that token when it is listed into exchanges. You have to research about the project before investing and read the whirepaper and research abut the development to avoid the scam ICOs.And most important only invest the amount which is affordable for you to lose.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to get safe in myetherwallet (MEW) on: February 08, 2018, 07:39:29 AM
there lot of newbie asking how to get safe in mew or what kind of safty measure are we want to get in the mew using

this are the method i use in when i use

> dont give you private key to others

>  bookmark the mew site

> dont login the mew using others url /links

> dont save your public and private key in same notepad or doc

> most of them mistake add there private key for the bounty and hacked

follow that methods you can save

there are lot of spam links they said add 2 step verification like that don click those link

" MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords, nor reverse transactions. Protect your keys & always check that you are on correct URL. You are responsible for your security."
Thanks for this,it is good to read and may be very helpful for the newbies and bounty hunters. But I want to add one more point to your checklist that is keep you system offline when it is not needed then it help to prevent us from the phishing links.

1766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: February 07, 2018, 03:01:32 PM
I think more people are addicted to the crypto currencies because crpto currency investment has the ability to give huge profits in short term like gambling but people need to understand the risks also before investing.Because anything can happen people may lose their investment in no time and will be affected by depression or many other issues,so don't get addicted to it and only invest the amount affordable to lose for you.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders being taxed in India on: February 07, 2018, 10:44:07 AM
Now Link has been added.
But from that link I can't find any news about that the investor who had 0.1M or more fund of crypto currency will be taxed.I just understand that 1 lakh notices were sent for the people who sisn't pay the appropriate taxes. So now it is clear that bitcoin is not a legal in India so people can use freely the bitcoins or other crypto currencies in India.

1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders being taxed in India on: February 07, 2018, 07:32:01 AM
Now in India, profit from bitcoin trading will be heavily taxed. Notice for ₹ 0.1 M tax to be paid has been issued to bitcoin holders in India.

Is it?

If yes where is the link for that news,no one will hear these kind of rumors if there is not enough proof. And don't create fake news again,India did nothing on crypto currency only a speech from Finance minister made a huge impact already.
1769  Economy / Services / Re: EBCoin Signature and Avatar Campaign(FULL) on: February 07, 2018, 07:29:37 AM

1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoint down on: February 06, 2018, 05:32:31 PM
what actually happens why altcoin all red blush
The price of every crypto currenies are falling almost 20% of its value everyday, since it is happening in all over the places like stock exchanges also. And the main reason for the price fall of crypto curreny is due to panic sellic so the people need to stop selling their coins if they want their cointo recover from its crash.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for the right time to get in. on: February 06, 2018, 04:20:09 PM
I’ve had 5k US sitting on the bench watching and waiting for the right time to get in. Seems like the time is here.
Been researching projects and narrowed them down to these FOR LONG TERM HOLDS.
ETH ,VEN ,XLM ,IOTA ,NEO ,OMG ,ICX ,LISK ,WTC
Thoughts?
For now the price of all crypto currency is falling 20% everyday so are you sure you want to invest now?

If you are still then buy ethereum for all your investment because it is very cheaper now around $860 and if the price recovers it ca hit upto $1500 by end of this year.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Archain wallet on: February 06, 2018, 12:32:23 PM
Is archain wallet good? Or are there better free wallets?
I am just now hearing about these archain wallet, but already quoted that it is not a bitcoin wallet so if OP lookinf for a bitcoin wallet the I will say that all the wallets other than hardware wallets are free, you can choose the wallets based on your usages. There are hot wallets, paper wallet, software wallets and hardware wallets are available.

If you are looking to store small amount of bitcoin the blockchain wallet is a good option and it have 2FA security also. But the wallets with private keys are more safer,so if you want one of these then Electrum is a best option.
1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is decreasing. What's your strategies now? on: February 06, 2018, 04:17:45 AM
The market is fully unstable at the moment.  I personally think that the market will stable obviously ( but have no idea when  Huh  Huh) And I want to know your strategy towards the market, what you feel.
I am just holding and no plan to sell any of my bitcoins for losses and I know the price will recover soon but People who bought at the peak of $30K will be suffering now but they also need to hold.Soon the price will bump like what happened at China ban or other instances.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger Receive Wallet Attack on: February 05, 2018, 03:54:29 PM
Has anyone been affected by this and would it now be a good time to buy another hardware wallet?

Also it I've been reading where it says to press the monitor before sending and receiving to verify your address is correct is that true as well?

What the hell is going on?
What do you mean by attack is someone steal your money? Since no one can steal your bitcoins in hardware wallets without private keys so how it can happen.I hope OP will explain the real case behind ledger wallet attack.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia just made all crypto legit on: February 05, 2018, 11:55:34 AM
Russian central bank just legalized all cryptocurrencies. They will even make several citiea offshore zones where minnimg will be tax free
I don't know this news is true or not but these kind of news will make the crypto currency investors a relief from the past experience of bad news and regulations for crytpo currencies which did all the things for the recent price fall.

But if the news is true please provide the link to that article to make it clear for the forum members.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rules/Board Q: Ether Based Bounty Program? on: February 05, 2018, 07:19:15 AM
I want to run a bounty campaign paying in eth/ltc. Not an ICO.

Can I do it - and if so under what sub forum?

Any insight would be appreciated. Cheers -
Sure you can run bounty campaign if you want, but can I know what about your project is going to prmote you already told that it is not an ICO.So it is a gambling site or any services you want to spread around the forum. You can run signature campaign unless it is prmoting the ponzi scheme.

You can post the campaign on the bounties section if you are paying in altcoins.the link to the bounty section is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: curency price on exchange listing on: February 04, 2018, 01:18:30 PM
I noticed that price on apearing currency on exchange can be  very high. is this a bug or someone buy  cuz dont know real price on other exchanges?
No it is not a bug,the price is varies according to the demand and supply on that coin on that particular exchange irrespective of the actual market value or the other exchanges. If people want to know the exact current value for that coin then you can go to coinmarketcap.com to find it.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin lose its value if everyone's using it? on: February 04, 2018, 09:10:29 AM
If everyone uses bitcoin it will increases the demand so which also increases its price.Currently very little community of people using bitcoin but still the price os expensive so imagine when 700M people uses bitcoin it will make too expensive than the current price.
1780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 04, 2018, 06:17:15 AM
But more people do this  Smiley

We need to have trust on the bitcoin if we continiously watches the price over and over it will make us to sell our holdings due to the price volatility of bitcoin.I am invested on bitcoin for longer term so I don't care about these short term dumps and bumps.
