Yah blockchain solves all your questions. It is great Smiley
1763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why did you get into bitcoin? on: September 26, 2012, 06:23:23 PM
It has a lot of similarities to both gold and silver. Which I very much appreciate. The great thing is, is that it has these similarities but is also a e-currency. Nothing exactly like this exist and I believe it has developed a vibrant community. Can't wait to see where it ends up.
1764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin shopping cart? on: September 26, 2012, 06:15:55 PM
Thanks Jermaine. I think I basically have it narrowed down at the moment. Already making quite a few sales by bitcoins. The community is awesome here in how much they support new businesses using bitcoins.
1765  Economy / Goods / Re: All Things Luxury - Jewelry for Less - Now Accepting Bitcoins on: September 26, 2012, 06:13:58 PM
Wow I can't believe the huge support that this community is already showing. We have already made a significant number of sales by bitcoin. We are glad that we can be a part of the community. If the trend continues it won't be hard at all for me to convince others to adopt using bitcoins.
1766  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Bank CEO mentions Bitcoin, "We're interested in seeing where we can step in" on: September 26, 2012, 05:21:00 PM
Toward the end of interview, in fact here:

Frank Trotter, EverBank CEO

http://EverBank.com

Says he talks to Bitcoin developers

in my words, he tries to figure out if Bitcoin is unbreakable and if they have the proof they will step into. but then it's to late because everyone tries to step into at this point.  Grin

Completely agree. If he waits until this point then he will be way wayyyy too late. There is a element of risk in any investment. You don't make the big bucks by being a lemming. Once in a while you have to step out on the ledge and take a chance. Just make sure it's a calculated one. I personally believe bitcoin is well calculated risk.
1767  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-9-20 The Near Future: When Silver Does not Protect Your Privacy on: September 26, 2012, 05:18:11 PM
Good article, and he makes a point that I make often when talking to people. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Don't hold all Bitcoins, don't hold all silver, don't hold all gold. Create a basket and diversify. You'll be much safer this way.
1768  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Bank CEO mentions Bitcoin, "We're interested in seeing where we can step in" on: September 26, 2012, 05:12:59 PM
It's being talked about in a positive light. That is another great step forward.

Gotta love the free advertising Smiley
1772  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do people trust Casascius so much? on: September 25, 2012, 11:48:48 PM
He has proven his self so far. We have to have some trust to make this system work. He gives out his real name and has it set up so you could go after him fairly easily. I think there is not much else he can offer. Guess you just need to make a judgement call if you feel comfortable or not at this point.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be filled with Tungsten on: September 25, 2012, 11:45:07 PM
This reminds me of the guy who bought a UPS on trademe and wondered why it wasnt working. When he opened it up, there was a brick inside instead of a battery

http://www.popgive.com/2008/07/dont-buy-ups-without-warranty.html

Haha wow, the lengths people will go to make a dishonest buck. Sad.
1774  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Just My Bitcoin Blog on: September 25, 2012, 11:43:05 PM
Great, love to see new bitcoin blogs! If you are short on news, my business All Things Luxury (http://www.allthingsluxury.biz) just started to accept bitcoins. We are actively trying to build awareness in the our local business community. The best way to do this is to show them our success with bitcoins. So more support we get, the more we can spread the bitcoin word. We are one of the fastest growing eCommerce businesses for jewelry at steeply discounted prices.

Once again, best of luck with the blog! i'll be sure to check it out often. Thanks.

1777  Economy / Services / Re: bitcoin blog posters and writers on: September 25, 2012, 06:36:12 PM
If your having trouble finding topics, I would appreciate if you wrote a small post about my business, All Things Luxury (http://www.allthingsluxury.biz). We are actively trying to promote ourselves to the bitcoin community as we just recently began accepting bitcoins. We are also trying to spread the word in our local business community. The best way we can do this is through our success. Money talks and once they see that accepting bitcoins is profitable they will adopt it as a form of payment. Either way, best of luck with your blog! I'll be sure to bookmark and check it out.
1778  Economy / Economics / Re: The current bitcoin market is inefficient on: September 25, 2012, 06:28:13 PM
Nothing is perfect. Bitcoin will continue to work out the kinks as time progresses. It has gotten drastically better since inception.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin die at some date because of stranded bitcoins? on: September 25, 2012, 06:26:21 PM
Bitcoin can be divisible to a monster degree. This is impossible. Even if 90% of the coins were lost, the remaining 10% would simply readjust it's value and account for the lost coins. This is pretty standard and is exactly how gold has functioned as a currency for over 6000 years, even in it's insanely limited quantity. The prices simply adjust by the free market.
