Most of them are probably malware or malicious script or just a gig to add revenue to their youtube channel's.

They are just doing that for views.

I remembered a scandal in the past about a YouTuber who usually gamble in this site and win a lot of virtual items in a game, as far as I know, it is CSGO. As people dig deeper into this site, they knew that this YouTuber is the owner or maybe co-owner of that gambling site. There are a lot of other scenarios like that on the internet like the gambling site that is advertised by Jake Paul in the past.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 07, 2020, 08:02:23 AM

but he will be suffering operation and i think this will take longer time of getting better again,as the team will surely not allowing Him to be Forced playing because he can do more action in future and not just this All Filipino Conference, there are lot of Games to Come for junMar.

And when he comes back, there is no assurance that he will be as confident as he was since usually when a player got injured, underdgo an operation, it will affect their confidence as they will be afraid to be injured again.

That is the bad thing about injuries.

It will not just hurt you physically but it will eat you up emotionally as you would always worry about how you move and how you play. As a player, you really need to hustle but we can't do anything when this happens but to pray that he can quickly get back to the court. As far as I know, this recovers at 4 to 6 months including rehab. Hope the Beermen can hold on while he's in there.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 07, 2020, 07:26:31 AM
Meanwhile, we are seeing the Rockets now giving some good competition with the Lakers, it seems like they don't have any problem without Capela.

I think they will be having a hard time when it comes to good defender teams.

Lakers took advantage of not having a big man and they focussed on AD which scored 32 with 13 rebounds though that is not enough since Rockets have a lot of players shooting on three. They got 19 threes, which is half of the scores they accumulated while Lakers got only 9. I forgot that they have those shooters so every game of Rockets will usually be a three-point shootout being lead by Westbrook, James and Gordon.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: February 07, 2020, 05:28:31 AM
I think this depends on the place that you are in.

In my country, despite the legalization of cryptocurrencies, people are still not accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that much. Online, there are some mobile payments that accept Bitcoin but in terms of offline transactions or payment methods, they prefer fiat. Some say it is their investment so they will hold into it rather than use it.
1765  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized exchanges have become the banks of the cryptocurrency world on: February 07, 2020, 12:24:51 AM
This is an extreme fact. Centralized Exchange lists the shitcoin what they want. Centralized exchanges charge huge listings fees from shitcoin. Their work is worse than the bank. If you look well at centralized exchanges. Then you will understand how they are listing shitcoin and dumping it to retail traders. Because they can do whatever they want. The most annoying thing about centralized exchanges is kyc.

It is the worst.

The most reason is that we are using decentralized cryptocurrency because we are wanting to maximize the freedom that we have using them. KYCs are blocking them and we can't do anything about it since if we don't have other choices, we will be doing it. Here in our country, KYC is required to cash out your Bitcoins into fiats, I needed so I did it.
1766  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2020, 01:23:19 PM
I was thinking that investors would think the cryptocurrency market as an alternative to traditional investment products.
Having said that, my point was that those two markets have a reverse impact.

If the stock market goes down, then investors would start searching for alternative (more profitable) investments and turn to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The last days stock market crash seems that lead the market cap of the crypto market down.

Does the Stock Market has impact over the Bitcoin price?
I agree with your point! Stock market crash will greatly affect the cryptocurrency market. Maybe when the stock crash, people will divert their investment to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently rising very fast. This is a good sign if you choose bitcoin to invest!

Right now we can talk about it.

Because of the outbreak of corona virus, the stocks in China are affected and it is falling. Other countries are also affected by it since China is a big market and where big trades are happening. As the stock falls there, the price of Bitcoin increases. It is not connected at all, it is just all a coincidence that this is happening. It can affect the market in a way but not most of time.
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 06, 2020, 11:47:20 AM
For me, this is just a coincidence.

I mean what is the connecrion of having an outbreak of coronavirus to the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies? If there will be a connection between Bitcoin and the outbreak, I think that would give a negative effect to the price since people would sell their cryptocurrencies to use against the outbreak.

this isnt about bitcoin but the thread here tackles also economic business in china

..of Bitcoin always followed by the different crypto markets like Ethereum, bitcoin, BTCH, etc The Question Remain to the community will the CORONA VIRUS  favor Crypto Market.

In terms of the economy, obviously it will affect them as this outbreaks happen, it can greatly affect the economy. They were forced to make a hospital for just a week. If it is not a coincidence, then how can we say that this outbreak is the reason of the price increase?
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 06, 2020, 11:15:34 AM
The main problem is not that exchanges place bad coins on their platforms, but that such coins generally enter the market.
Indeed, without proper funding, the project will not have money even to pay for listing on a bad exchange.
So the culprits of this whole situation are investors who for one reason or another give their money to projects that are subsequently useless for the market.

As a rule, the reason for investing in such projects is financial interest. Look at the list of top coins.
A huge number of mediocre projects received their funding from us. The problem is not in bad projects, but in people who invest in them.

Good point the problem is how investors choose projects and how they deal with their interest, shitcoins still exists since investors still playing with their fate. Gambling with uncertain project and try their luck if the coin that being listed will work for them and bring them benefits. No assurance but they're willing to take the gamble.

And some bounty hunters is also at fault here.

In the past year, a lot if investors are avoiding some projects since there are a lot of bounty hunters that ruin the projects. As they received the percentage they wanted, they immediately list them in market to sell with lower peice. More will follow and the price is getting lower and lower. There are a lot of coins that is not shit to start with.
1769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price is low, any slight movement is more profitable. Here is why. on: February 06, 2020, 10:24:43 AM
Great explanation but it is not always like that.

The price of Bitcoin and even a lot of other cryptocurrencies are so volatile so you never know what will happen. If you will be day trading, you need to be so alert woth the every movement the price is going. Let's say you checked the price at 2% increase, after an hour the price might be at 5% higher or 5% lower, you never know that. So it is either a profit or a loss that is the reason it is not that easy.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 06, 2020, 09:03:50 AM
...

First time seeing this thread and pretty much curious about the topic, and after seeing that the OP is stating that a plane is being raffled, well it is a good thing that the maintaining cost will be provided by the government that will be a big save after getting your hands on a plane, but in my opinion, this is not for all people if a normal person could get a hands-on this plane then I think this could carry a huge burden, and this is a sure exclusive for their countrymen only because the parking lot for this plane is an airport and ones can not afford an airport of his own right? might as well sell it in an auction or donate it for a common cause.

The maintenance cost will be paid by the government the first year or the first 2 years, they are not sure about this decision yet, but after that, the winner will be fucked up, because the maintenance cost is just too high for a simple mortal like us.
And that will lead for the winner for having no other option but to sell it back to the government or maybe to someone who has the capability to handle the expenses for this transportation vehicle.

Either way, that would be the case.

Also, I don't think we should even worry about this since the government of Mexico is still thinking about this lottery. The percentage of winning is low but the fact that the money I will be paying will be used for the good of their country, I will still buy a ticket.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 06, 2020, 08:12:31 AM
Putting up such limits? I never heard of such idea like this but I am in favor of this suggestion by OP. I was losing my control in gambling, I would admit that. But the only one who can fight that uncontrollably greediness is ourself. It makes sense why in gambling site, there is a setting for stop profit and stop on lose. It can be useful to one if we put our goal on that setting. It somehow helps to control ourself in unhealthy emotions.

It will be a good solution for people who are gambling always.

As people keep on gambling for profit, they would be stuck to that kind of system that would really fall in time to addiction. As gambling sites and casinos might not implement this, we as gamblers should be responsible to what and how much we are spending in these places. Speaking of limitations, read this post as it is connected to this discussion.

1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: February 06, 2020, 06:35:03 AM
That would be a good way to minimize their gambling activities.

Some might say that it will not be effective but I think it would have an effect to people. As people are used to carry cards rather than their money, people would be having a hard time carrying their cash just to go to a casino. Just imagine carrying all of it, if you ever win, if you are going out a casino.

1774  Economy / Economics / Re: New York City Stores Must Accept Cash Council Says on: February 05, 2020, 10:18:55 AM
It is said that usually credit cards are being hacked, maybe that is the reason.

Though this would be hard for some since people usually do not want to bring any cash with them so they can travel without worrying with it. It might be the case but they need to follow this new law. It is not that they are not open to new technologies but there is a problem at hand.
It does not matter what any individual thinks or feels reliable but once the government applies any laws and regulations, each citizen have to follow those or they might even need to pay for violating these laws.

Cash transactions are the easiest ones but I feel like those are a lot outdated. There have been such advanced means of payments and why are we yet using cash payments everywhere? Perhaps this might be good in parts of countries where population is in excess amount as there would be a need of quick payments in these situations and I guess New York comes under the same. This might be the reason why government made cash compulsory in these parts of nation.

And the government are not that ready for that kind of system.

There is a problem and the fact that they can't quickly find a way or a solution to end that problem, we can conclude that they are still not ready. We can't force anything even though they are easy and efficient. If that will be giving a problem to people and the government, then it is a risk that a leader would think should be lessen or stopped.
1775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Trading Make The US Economy Stronger? on: February 05, 2020, 09:26:16 AM
In terms of trading Bitcoin, it will positively affect a country's economy.

As our teacher in the past said it, the money that is supposed to be for other country, you are using for your country. Let's say someone paid you some Bitcoin, then you want to convert it to fiat that you are using. You are adding an additional way for other money to come to your country. That is the same as you working in other country.
1776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: February 02, 2020, 10:46:42 AM
This is where people are confused. There is just no full-time with trading, it’s the luxury that we have and reason why we need to be wise. I trade with FreshForex broker, where they have mobile facility that just makes the working super nice and easy for not just me but almost everyone.

It's never okay to take full time with trading You just said that every human being needs some rest in the workplace. Boredom causes many problems in our work.

Trading is something else.

I am not saying that it is different but I heard something in a video my friend is watching but I can't remember the title of it. He said that investing is something that people do so tine could work for them to earn money. That is something else and made me realize that investing can really make lives better as long as you know what you are doing.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: February 02, 2020, 09:23:53 AM
That sounds so ridiculous. "States do not want people to live well." After all, the government is the same people as we are. Why did it happen that some people control others. More likely not quite so. Why do we let the destructive system control us? After all, we are all the same, we all want happiness and peace, so why not start doing it? Bitcoin has given the idea of freedom to many people. Therefore, I suggest starting with ourselves. Promote and use bitcoin in our life.

Government are so controlling, that is why.

Even with the decentralization of cryptocurrencies, the usage of Bitcoin and others are so small that is why we are still using other payment methods particularly fiats. In our country, we can't really promote cryptos as a lot of people are suspecting it for being a fraud or a scam.

1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 02, 2020, 05:33:08 AM
I'm too in favor of this. They need to at least provide a lock function where the user can lock their coins for a certain amount of time or one that releases a fixed amount of coins every day while locking other. The largest loss I've made is due to rage bet. For example, if I start with 100 and go upto 1000 and down to 200, I'm very likely to go all in than realizing that I have 100% profit.

It might help people but wouldn't these gamblers think they would just find other gambling sites?

They would just be annoyed that they have this feature and would be deciding to change their site into another without that kind of feature. That would lose their costumers and gambling sites would not want to lose them.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: February 02, 2020, 04:15:07 AM
Okay, I have watched the true sight and it's plain but knowing the perspective of both sides during the game was impressive. They're all calm.
(....)
The much calmer team on the True Sight 2019 is the Team OG for me. They showed an impressive emotion even these two teams already won The International tournament but OG was much earlier which is now back 2 back champion. The way Notal and Ceb lead the team is extremely superb and the rest of OG is really playing with all their heart.
While Team Liquid also great, Kuroky is the best captain. And I felt sad on w33ha, damn, you can see on the eyes of w33ha how sad he is. And there are some people who hate w33ha every loss of Team Liquid like they want w33ha to be out of Team Liquid.

That is just heartbreaking.

Even though in their 3rd game, OG is pushing the towers, no chance of winning but still w33 are still asking his team if they can still do something. He really wanted to win, he really wants it but OG is so composed in this series. The combo of NoTail and Ceb is really impressive.
