17701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the furture currency-Encryption currency will be more safe on: April 16, 2015, 10:30:27 AM
The government will issue and use a currency they control.

bitcoin can be contorlled easily, if they want, it just a matter of buying many and control the market, which is the same thing in the end, or they could buy a strong and big farm and control the network
17702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I can earn from the Signature campaign? on: April 16, 2015, 08:17:55 AM
now that i think about it, how 777coin(and others newbies campaign) deal with multi account? they are in a bad position like all the other newbies campagin, because making newbie account it's basically a joke

one could made 10-20 newbie account in a sec(you don't need to rank up) and start spamming with the 777coin sig...i think there are already member that are doing this
17703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: April 16, 2015, 08:15:42 AM
trade is usually made of "waves" little or big one, i usually follow those wave, when a drop wave start i buy a little, and when a rise wave begins i dump a little, then i repeat the processe if the trend continue in tthe way it starter/initiated

i prefer to dump/pump small amount for every range the drop/rise begins, i don't if this is a good strategy, i just come up with it recently
17704  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: April 16, 2015, 08:11:27 AM
for alcoin, i use bittrex(really fast and it work good for me, i like fast exchange) and poloniex(also really fast, their new front is awesome, was not very good in the past but now is a very attractive exchange and the dev is working hard every day)

for bitcoin/altcoin cryptsy is ok but too slow for me, the only good thing is their huge volume

for bitcoin only, i use kraken, which i find the best exchange, altough the deposit is a bit slow(6 confs) they use basically no fee and their sepa is super fast
17705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what about this trading strategy Bitcoin on: April 16, 2015, 08:08:43 AM
It is arbitrage buying cheap ...
how long it takes withdrawing fiat to OKpay or PerfectMoney so i can make the same circle more than once a day or not?
am i dreaming Roll Eyes
Yes, you are dreaming. At least at present. Fees
and turnaround time make this a losing proposition.
At one point last month you could pull this between
BitYes (buying BTC) and Coinbase (selling BTC).
That was because of low fees -- both Coinbase
and Bityes were running zero fees for makers.
Turnaround time was more or less one day with
Coinbase consistently at a $2 premium to Bityes.

However this relied on using Astropay to get
USD quickly back to Bityes from Coinbase with
zero fees. Now Bityes has reinstituted maker
fees, suspended Astropay deposits, and the
average premium as fallen to ~$1.

there are platforms that can make this easy http://bitcoinpricelab.com/, you won't earn much, but it is doable

note that this site isn't complete, many exchange are missed
17706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think - Is BTC/FIAT easily manipulated ? on: April 16, 2015, 08:03:55 AM

well not exactly, if you read that article it say that he bought 270k coin at least, which aren't exactly few coin, so about 50M to manipulate the market heavily

if you want a "soft manipulation" i guess 1M is enough
17707  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Newest Diff thread April 5 to April 18th on: April 16, 2015, 07:56:36 AM
Well the day is coming to a end. It looks like it has went down a little slightly

Bitwisdom:
Bitcoin Difficulty:    49,446,390,688
Estimated Next Difficulty:    48,366,693,228 (-2.18%)
Adjust time:    After 488 Blocks, About 3.5 days

it should re-adjust itself now, seeing the price rised a little like +1 % or near that or retunr at the previous rate(1.92%?)
17708  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: mining apocalypse (naive question) on: April 16, 2015, 07:55:17 AM
we will reach one point where the diff will stop rising , or will rise in the 0.00% range, and no other farm will rise, so the only factor will be the price

we all hope that by then a solution to the infamous 51% will be achieved or can farm have enough intelligence to not do a 51%, like ghash.io that was so close but in the end he provided "support" to reduce the % of his pool
17709  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 16, 2015, 07:46:42 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Investment is a kind of savings. If you are doing savings then you can not keep it in the cash form with you. You will have to invest it in Fixed deposit, Real state, gold or shares, etc.
Investment is a kind of savings I disagree with that because, investing have a risk that your money would be lost or earn a profits. Also investing take too much time than saving. Saving takes 3-5 years before you stop to save (it depends on your salary every month) but in investing takes 10-15 years depends on the contract and the company (you wouldn't assure that your money can earn or will be lost its) its 50%-50%. And f you invest you can earn more profits by using the compound interest it can earn more profit as years passes by than simple interest.

Not totally true. There are some investment tool available which has zero risk and will give you return in 3-5 years as well. That will totally depends upon the risk profile of the individual and his requirements.
Yeah theres some but its hard to find that company that zero risk. And if its only 3-5 years you profit is not high because your time is not so long and it depends on the interest of that company where your profit are big or small.

many banks offers 1-3% max of annual interest, but you need to freeze your account for one year, they should be pretty safe as far as i know, it's not like playing ponzi with bitcoin for sure...

but overall is a very tiny amount, not sure it worth it to freeze your account for one year, i know that i won't do that...
But the interest is so low. If i invest i would not invest to the company that have only 1-3% because after 5-10 years my profit will be small and the interest is only simple interest . If the interes is compound and its annual interest is 1-3% i think i will invest, because it compound interest and assure to myself that i will earn a big profits.

not after 5-10 years but after 1 year only, if you invest 100k and you lock them in those bank, they give you 1k-3k usd/euro, it's not that bad at the end, although still too low for many
17710  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: April 16, 2015, 07:44:04 AM
1k bitcoin is a bit too much to earn now, maybe before, when difficult was lower, and altcoin were profitable, right now it's impossible to earn such amount

better to aim at the 10-100 range and hoping for 10k value in the future
17711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Mining Related Questions! on: April 16, 2015, 07:42:17 AM
Thank you both for your answer but I am still confused on the answer number 2! Which address sends the reward to the miner? Huh
If you are solo mining, the coins come from no adress, they are generated if you find a block. If you are pool mining you will get the btc from the pool, the pool splits up the reward for the block - in this situation the pool generates coins and splits the reward up for every miner.

I got clear about the pool mining! Hmm.. Lets make it clear about the solo mining! You have a address where the coins were generated from solo mining? Grin
If you could provide one It would be easy to understand Grin
Well, Thanks for the answer! Smiley

maybe i wasn't clear enough, but i responded to this question above, point two

here form wiki

"Because there is a reward of brand new bitcoins for solving each block, every block also contains a record of which Bitcoin addresses or scripts are entitled to receive the reward. This record is known as a generation transaction, or a coinbase transaction, and is always the first transaction appearing in every block. The number of Bitcoins generated per block starts at 50 and is halved every 210,000 blocks (about four years)."
17712  Economy / Economics / Re: EUR might drop below USD on: April 16, 2015, 07:39:33 AM
I see a lot of chaos there, for example those who think that Switzerland and UK are part of the Eurozone... Really?

By the way probably EUR won't drop below USD and the Eurozone won't collapse after a hypothetical Grexit, just because Greece is too small.

Actually the only downside of a Grexit and the consequent bankruptcy is the public exposure of Germany (65bln€), France (49bln€) and Italy (43bln€).

As you can see here: Eurozone countries exposures to Greece - 2011 vs 2014.

But that's not a really big deal actually.
if greece leaves the eurozone will collapse, italy, spain, and why would germany still want to stay in? ...

That's not the case, as an italian guy i am 100% sure that we will stay in the eurozone with or without Greece.
If you ask me, France is the biggest problem for the Eurozone, not economically (at least not right now), but politically, but that's another story.
By the way I already said that a Grexit is not a big deal, greek economy is just too small, not a big player and however we can't even tell if a Grexit is likely to happen or not, so right now the Eurozone is safe.

Isn't Italy going to have a referendum about leaving the eurozone? Don't know if it will pass. Or if the government will follow through with an exit if it does. But are you 100% sure it won't pass? Even without considering Greece. http://rt.com/news/248769-italy-eurozone-referendum-petition

it was like so, but they are not still there yet, was just a rumor at the end, i think ital will stay in the euro for now, and greece getting out will not change that
17713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream on: April 16, 2015, 07:37:53 AM
I think, incorporating Bitcoin into premium games, will do it.  Wink

Imagine "World of Warcraft" or "Starcraft" or "Call of Duty" and many of the big titles, having BTC built in for tipping {ingame} and on the forums.

Any of the MORPG's can easily incorporate it and we will see a explotion in the demand for Bitcoin. Instead... These games are spending millions into creating their own crypto currencies and trying to re-invent the wheel.   Huh

The day, when "Facebook" adopt Bitcoin fully, will be the day when we "Go to the Moon"  Grin
While I understand you ideas and I share your opinion. I want to clarify some things.

1. Tipping in game - this functionality won't work in titles like CoD or Starcraft imo. It only could work with titles where integration with people are part of the game like MMORPG. Let's be realistic. You are not gonna tip a dude who killed you in CoD, you instead will be more likely to blame him for cheating.

2. To this date no game company created any alt coin r within the meaning of that term. The closest project you can call alt currency in game is this: http://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcrafts-new-token-currency-sheds-a-quarter-of-its-value-in-one-day/

3. Facebook is not the key here, many people are still not using it. It will however raise general public crypto awareness.

well you do not integrate bitcoin in those game, with tips, there numerous way to integrate it

for example for CSGO, you can reward those who got the most kills ratio or the most score, or who come in the first 3 spots at the end of the match

for starcraft is the same, you can base the reward on score or the position on the ladder at the of the season
My friend, you are missing the point of 'tipping" here. Do you think that game developers will grant you a 'tip' for these achievements? Because they won't. Tipping is meant to be p2p thing between pplayers. And I imagine you don't want to tip your enemy who took higher position on a ladder. For now bitcoin will be useful in a games with free to play model like: Dota2, Planetside2, Smite, Path of Exile, Star Wars: The Old Republic, World of Tanks, Team Fortress 2 and many more. Where you could actually purchase something for yourself with bitcoins. F2P marketing model is highly successful in a recent years and games like that are topping the charts of top earning titles. It will be a great promotion for bitcoin as well.

wait i'm not taking about tipping, tipping could work well like you said in a mmorpg or those kinda of game, but for fps and rts, they could integrate an earning system directly in to the game that pay in bitcoin, i know that for now no one will due these(they are only doing it for the tournament), but it is certainly possible, it would attract more gamers as well
17714  Economy / Economics / Re: destroying bitcoins on: April 16, 2015, 07:35:42 AM

if all citizens, start destroying it, i'm sure the printing can't match the destruction, resulting in less scam fiat in circulation

Most fiat is generated through a decision of the central bank / commercial banks through fractional reserve lending.
Destroying fiat isn't going to help you. It is just going to transfer value from you to the system you hate.

While it is generally true that destroying money only makes you poorer and you wont achieve anything by doing so, maybe apart from showing people how loaded and eccentric you are.
But destroying bitcoin from the other hand has very good effect bitcoin's economy. It is just like Satoshi said: Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.

it is the same actually, if you destroy your own money, does not matter if it is bitcoin or fiat, if you destroy your fiat you will get poorer, and if you destroy your bitcoin you will get poorer as well, the ony difference is that with the latter, you will enrich others
17715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remittance Projects that include BTC or Alts on: April 16, 2015, 07:33:26 AM
found this link, it seems to add a few

17716  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: April 16, 2015, 07:29:01 AM
Wait wait wait, with 3 different accounts??? How can you handle that, and how about the limit post/ip???
And, is it legal  Huh

In theory, nothing stops you from having multiple accounts in this forum (it isn't against forum rules), and using them all to join signature campaigns. In practice however, there are a couple of limitations, I suppose: as you mentioned, handling several accounts and posting with them all is probably time consuming, and will likely get you banned, if post quality is poor; and some campaign managers don't like that, and will deny you payment if you get caught doing it.

So we can just use multiple account with our own risk to get banned or anything Shocked
You can try to get into a campaign with multiple accounts but I wouldn't recommend that since it's against the signature campaign rules. Try to play  fair and only use 1 account for signatures campaign, it's worth the risk you can earn more with 1 account than multiple accounts and get banned.

I agree. I didn't even know multiple accounts for posting was a thing until I saw them being sold. I can only see sense in buying them if you need to "level up" yourself or buying it for somebody.
Being fair is better for you own profit, you won't have a risk of getting banned, you earn more and don't waste much time. All over it's better to just use one single account for your signature campaign participation.

As far as my knowledge about the forum rules go, account farming isn't strictly prohibited. Actually, it is stated in the Forum Rules:

Quote
18. Having multiple accounts and account sales are allowed, but account sales are discouraged

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

So that means that you can create multiple accounts, post using multiple accounts, and join signature campaigns with multiple accounts. As long as you abide by the forum rules, you haven't got anything to worry about (though I'm not entirely sure about joining signature campaigns with multiple accounts. Better ask the staffs and mods).

what about dev of signature campaign, recognize your style of writing? you could get a negative trust besides the ban, not worth it i think, or you should be really careful if you want to do something like this, it's not that easy especially if you run more than two(like 5-10)
17717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why One Bitcoin Core Developer Thinks Cryptocurrencies Have A Dreadful Future on: April 16, 2015, 07:27:15 AM
i don't see any other reason for his negativity other than buy cheap coins, a core dev should encourage the adoption(not but telling the false of course, we all know that bitcoin is in a despair phase) but a dev, should talking about addressing bug/problem related to btc, instead of "fudderising" it
17718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware Bitcoin Users! Is Bitcoin Taxation inevitable? on: April 16, 2015, 07:24:16 AM
Bitcoin has always been taxable.
It just has been tougher to enforce compliance.
As time goes by, action taken by authorities and thereby compliance will increase.

this is not true, before 2014, IRS and other didn't taxed it at all, you was free to evade with the gain from bitcoin, and even now it is only in a few states

if in your country btc is taxed then you can just deposit your fait(conveted from btc) in a country where it isn't
17719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think quantum computers would break Bitcoin's security? on: April 16, 2015, 07:21:05 AM
on sha256 security bit are only 128, and quantum computer can break this(i can't find the article), if today pc can break 64 quantum computer can break at least the double of that

so bitcoin will need an hard fork in the future to survive
17720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 16, 2015, 07:12:52 AM
I would mine and hodl.

that's because you know the future if you was in 2009, but without knowing it, would you really hold all your btc until now? very few people have done that
