1781  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Accessible Wallet for blind, visually impaired and disabled users on: January 18, 2017, 10:48:12 PM
This is definitely a great concept but how exactly do you plan on making a wallet for the blind/visually impaired?
How would that work? If you could find a way then you'll be sure to get a lot of media attention as this idea is pretty unique!
On a side note, your site looks pretty good but there are quite a few grammatical mistakes which could do with some improvement.
1782  Economy / Digital goods / Re: eGiftCards 50% sale off - Amazon / Walmart / Best buy / Subway / Whole Foods ETC on: January 17, 2017, 10:28:58 PM
If you want to make sales on here and not be questioned over your legitimacy then I suggest you use escrow and not a website that offers no buyer protection whatsoever.
If you aren't interested in paying any escrow fees then you can state that buyer pays the fees, but rejecting escrow just looks shady and doesn't help your cause.
1783  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Spamming in my threads - Uk_Guy on: January 16, 2017, 10:30:20 PM
I agree. Based on the above it does seem like the work provided was poor and unprofessional.
Reason for Uk_Guy's delay to voice his concern could be because he only realised after a while that the logos weren't original and just generic. In that case then he does have a right to complain.
I guess now OP needs to explain himself...
1784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Spamming in my threads - Uk_Guy on: January 16, 2017, 10:06:28 PM
From the evidence uploaded in the OP it does seem as if you were happy with the work at first.
What was it that caused your attitude towards him/his work to change?
Spreading FUD/Slander is not only questionable but also a dick move unless you have real reason. I'm not saying who's right and who's wrong but please clarify what made you change your mind about the service OP provided you with.
1785  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITGRANTS.COM (User Bitgran) SCAM on: January 16, 2017, 12:35:31 PM
How long have you been using the site for?
I played around on their site a couple of weeks ago and found that the site lacked professionalism and development. I thought they were still in beta and hadn't actually launched yet. Now I can't even seem to open the site as it doesn't connect to the server.
I guess the only thing you can do is wait for BitGrants to respond to you here and clarify what went wrong.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin User Poll #4 - Wealth - how big is your...errr....bitcoin stash? on: January 16, 2017, 12:22:01 PM
Lol I assume most people on this for are holding less than half of a bitcoin. If you have 100s of bitcoins you must REALLY shit your pants with a 30% drop hahaha. I applauded anyone who can afford to stomach that!!

There are more members than you know on here who actually have relatively high amounts of BTC but they obviously choose not to publicise it.
Many members bought in when BTC was still young so although a 30% drop is significant, it is next to nothing in conparission to the growth their original investment had.
So yes it's significant but those holding that much BTC obviously believe in it long term and are perfectly happy to ride the wave.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax Authority in Isael wants to Treat Bitcoin as a property!!! on: January 15, 2017, 12:50:22 PM
I would actually say that this is relatively good news seeing as it's becoming recongnised as an actual asset. Bitcoin has been rather big in Israel so it's no surprise that the government have made a move to try and tax it in whatever way they can.
If anyone is looking to make some money than perhaps it may be a good time to start stockpiling BTC (pre VAT) as long as the price doesn't change too drastically.
1788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted bitcoin exchange rate? on: January 15, 2017, 01:05:42 AM
I wouldn't say that there are exchange rate sites that are more trusted than others but there definitely are a few that are more popular.
I personally use preev.com and I've noticed that lots of users on here use the preev rate when selling items. It's fairly accurate and does a good job Smiley
1789  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Creating BTC Wallet Cold Storage Site [Need Price Estimate] on: January 15, 2017, 12:36:42 AM
I'm intrigued to find out how this would work.
Cold storage means that the coins are kept offline. How exactly do you plan on creating a form of a cold storage website if that defeats the purpose of cold storage.
I'm just a little confused but would love to hear about this!
1790  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2x NEW 2015 Apple 15.4" Retina Macbook Pro: 2.5Ghz Quad i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM! on: January 14, 2017, 05:41:31 PM
Posting the photos would be a good idea.
Once you have the photos you can easily upload them to any image hosting site online.
Once you have the code just post them here and someone will post them for you (as new members aren't able to embed image links).

Thanks

1791  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What project will be good for this domain name? on: January 14, 2017, 05:39:29 PM
You're lucky to have managed to get such a great domain name.
If you don't have any plans in the short term and can do with holding out until something comes along then I'd just say set up a 'coming soon' landing page.
The problem with utilising it for one purpose in the interim means that your site becomes associated with that and then it's difficult for the new site to gain traction.
The domain has a nice ring to it. Just could also been interpreted as fair -> probable fair -> casino?

1792  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best way to cash out bitcoins and end up with USD on: January 12, 2017, 08:56:37 PM
I'm not entirely sure what the law is but would it really make a difference what tax you pay depending on how you sell it?
If you want to keep it legal then selling it for cash one way or another would mean you'd need to report your earnings and pay any consequent tax on that.
If you want to avoid unnecessary fees though you can post on localbitcoins and sell BTC in person for cash.
You remember bitinstant?
They tried to do this on a large scale and got caught in laws of us.
Nobody can do this because of taxation and money laundering laws.
It is not just not possible.

It is possible if you're operating on a small scale.
Just make sure to disclose your earning and keep a record of all transactions as proof for filing your tax returns. It would be best to speak with a financial advisor to be certain but if you play by the rules they can't hold you down...

1794  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION]Casascius 0.1 Physical Bitcoin on: January 11, 2017, 10:43:56 PM
How many of these coins do you have?  Cheesy
If we can agree on a price I'd be happy to buy one outright without having to go through an auction.
PM coming your way Smiley
1795  Economy / Goods / Re: Places to Buy Silver at/near Spot? on: January 11, 2017, 04:25:52 PM
JM Bullion is selling 10 ozt at spot, limited to one per household.  http://www.jmbullion.com/starter-pack/

They're also selling select bars and rounds at 79 cents over spot and new RMC gold bars at $29.99 over spot right now.  They take bitcoin and do free overnight shipping if you order over $1000 (I think, I always get that).

That's brilliant! Buying bullion in the U.K. at spot is near impossible due to VAT and import duties. If only there was a way of getting around that!  Cheesy (They do have bullion banks/storage facilities which are VAT free but those defeat the purpose of buying precious metals).
Next time I'm in the US I'll be sure to give this a try.
1796  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN](No reservations) First coin of the X-Series: "Segments" on: January 10, 2017, 07:57:32 PM
The coin looks great! I really like the simplistic design Smiley
Regarding the price, does that include the funding amount or is that an addition?
Thanks
1797  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] QUETZALCOATL BITCOIN on: January 10, 2017, 02:22:11 PM
The pictures really capture the coin design nicely. They do look great indeed!
May I ask how big the key recession (area) is? It looks much deeper than those of redeemed Cas/Lealana coins.
Thanks Smiley
1798  Economy / Collectibles / Re: (WTS) extremely rare Jinn Physical Bitcoin on: January 10, 2017, 02:12:48 PM
Does anyone know how many were minted / sold? I couldn't find this information anywhere.

AFAIK 100 minted, around 90 destroyed by manufacture, and 10 or less in the wild.

That's quite something. I'd read about them but never actually seen one before.
Where did you get yours from? Any rough price guide?
Thanks
