Monero dev makes shockingly obvious discovery Ethereum is a centralized scamcoin

Lol, but you're just shifting the discussion to me instead of looking at the facts I mentioned.

The only fact is you're some guy's sockpuppet account created in 2016 to hype a certain scamcoin.  Whether it be Come from Beyond's sockpuppet account or a different scammer doesn't really matter.

<fluffypony> they can already nuke bad chains remotely
<bsm117532> fluffypony: please elaborate?
<fluffypony> https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/Bad-Chain-Canary
<bsm117532> And cryptographic proof of fraud is provided how?
<bsm117532> Looks eminently scammable to me.
<fluffypony> https://github.com/ethereum/libethereum/blob/3bddce831c7f3e8e7f38a3b9b5df8ea0ced324fb/libethashseal/Ethash.cpp#L279
<bsm117532> So it's already a centralized chain...I assume all existing  Eth implementations check this canary address?
<bsm117532> I can't see how this is better than Peercoin signing blocks/
<fluffypony> it's an opt-out mechanism, from what I understand
<fluffypony> but of course nobody opts out
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest news on the Ethereum pump and dump scamcoin on: May 25, 2016, 06:00:39 PM
Here's a comparison!

You're a shill account created in Jan 2016.  The fact that you're pretending you know who all these people are while being on an account created in 2016 is like you're just flat out admitting to be a sockpuppet account here to try and do damage control.  Nobody believes a word coming out of any of these 1 star shill accounts.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest news on the Ethereum pump and dump scamcoin on: May 25, 2016, 05:06:53 PM
We all see that you just try to lower the price to get cheap ETH.

lol yea right.  There is no way I would buy a cent of this dysfunctional, centralized, IPO scamcoin.

This is the scammiest shit I've seen in a long time.  Look in the picture below.  This guy is unloading hundreds of thousands of dollars in shorts at prices like $443 and $444 dollars when it was $450 1 second before.  He already knows the price is going to instantly rebound and that no other exchanges will follow his manipulation down.  He is literally setting money on fire on purpose with the sole intention of trying to manipulate BTC down to try and attract momentum traders to Eth for him to dump on.

The fact that you play dumb and pretend the Eth scammers aren't doing this proves how much of a dishonest scammer you are.

Spain arrests 30 suspected of laundering money in bitcoin centers

Many wow, they seize an amount of Bitcoin equal to robbing a gas station:

"They did not say how much money had been laundered through the bitcoin mining operation but added they had for now seized 31,320 euros ($34,903) worth of the currency as well as cash, motorbikes and luxury cars and a small aircraft."

Fiat currencies such as the USD and Yuan will now crash from them auctioning off "a small aircraft".

I expect the sell side to list something like 75 million coins for sale eventually.  It's kind of a useless metric unless all the exchanges listed actually do proof of solvency.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest news on the Ethereum pump and dump scamcoin on: May 25, 2016, 04:29:37 PM
Cut your losses Ethereum pump and dump scammer.  Nobody is buying in to momentum trade so that you can dump on them.

Yea, he likely said that because he's insider trading on the knowledge of his exchange adding the coin and bought a bunch of it and is now desperate to find someone to dump it on:

Latest news on the Ethereum pump and dump scamcoin:

No other exchanges followed the BTC manipulation movements because everyone already knows what these Eth scammers are doing.

If Bitcoin is about maximizing the use of Drano decentralization

The purpose of Bitcoin is to escape the system of neo-feudalism through usury that exists via fractional reserve fiat currencies.

Don't want to be a slave?  Don't use money designed for slaves.

Debt based, fiat usury, federal reserve notes also cease to function and implode without an infinite growth model.

1794  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over for the shills and bears - BTC market cap about to explode on: May 25, 2016, 01:20:02 PM
So, you can use data that is 3 years old to justify your opinion, but when Matt or I do it, "Bitcoin is not the same as it was back then"? Double standard much?

Mat doesn't even do TA.  He draws completely arbitrary lines at random while ignoring things like the marginal costs of all mining participants averaged together having a relation to price floors.  There is a supply and demand dynamic on the other side of that equation, but 75% of Bitcoin has already been mined, the rest takes a long time to mine, and post halving inflation is 4%.  The market has already absorbed most of the supply.

Everybody knows what happens after a market has a long bear period (the decline from $1200 and then the $200-420 level of long protracted sideways movement).  People always attempt to corner the market then explode the price upwards after.  Going from $230 to $420 is not what I consider a big movement for such a long, drawn out accumulation period.  We all know the big, post-bear market move is yet to come.  You can easily have a +10x shooting star coming out of those bear market lows.

Which then leads into vomit inducing pump

May you all go broke, and burn in hell...

1796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: May 25, 2016, 11:41:22 AM
Please short it Mat.  It would not be a proper halving without you getting margin called trying to short the Bitcoin halving.

Which then leads into vomit inducing pump

TL;DR version anyone?

Eastern Europeans figured out that creating decentralized currencies is not actually profitable for the coin creator because in a real decentralized currency, the coin issuer doesn't actually have control over who gets the block rewards at all.  Due to this fact, Eastern Europeans started creating centralized, permissioned ledger IPOs in order to try and scam people for personal gain.  (exhibit:  Come from Beyond & Vitalik)
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for whitepapers of main original altcoins technologies on: May 24, 2016, 11:37:03 PM
Peercoin, NXT, NEM, Ethereum, and Bitshares are all useless because:

bounded entropy, recursive systems are not decentralized by definition.

They're selling the equivalent of stocks of a centralized company illegally while claiming it's a decentralized currency.  They are flat out scams.

Why proof of stake has no value:

Since Satoshi did not solve the Byzantine generals problem, this means confirmations are completely arbitrary.  So why are two confirmations more useful in Bitcoin (PoW) than one?  Because it's an open entropy system where over a period of time, it's either unlikely or statistically impossible for someone to maintain a monopoly on block validation when there is no upper limit to confirmations.

Recursive systems like proof of stake tend to permanently monopolize block validation by design, with no real fault or state recovery to fix it once it goes off the rails.  This makes a proof of stake confirmation essentially worthless due to being a bounded entropy system.

On top of being worthless, proof of stake is also a permissioned ledger since the purpose of mining in Bitcoin is to create a permanent decentralized exchange peg, which thus results in a permissionless system.

This leaves only things like Bitcoin, ring signatures and zk-snarks for anonymity add-ons, things like Lightning Network whitepaper, then there's just a truckload of theoretical changes to Bitcoin that have whitepapers such as weak blocks/Bitcoin NG, etc.
