1781  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Scam alert] NCOVID19 BTC giveaway on: March 22, 2020, 03:02:38 AM
I can't believe this. Scammers find a new way again to scam people. While browsing my facebook, this is what I saw.

Here is the mechanics they have provided on how to join on their ncovid btc giveaway;

And they also have fake proof for their transactions;

We are suffering from this crisis but then there are still people who are taking advantage of corona virus to fraud innocent individual. Paying fee? And then depositing? That's an absurd and obvious scam. I have reported that post to facebook already.

Let us report it to stop them from spreading and sharing the content. That is definitely a fake btc giveaway. No such thing as that who will give credit every 48 hours.

1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the best time to teach about bitcoin? on: March 21, 2020, 10:04:33 AM
In times like this, there are people who will be interested in online earnings. But let's face the reality, most of them were also afraid to take the risks. Bitcoin isn't hard to learn and to handle. But those newbies always thought that Bitcoin is an easy and quick rich scheme which is really not.

If we'll gonna introduce to them about bitcoin, the first question they will gonna ask is , "How to earn?" And "How to benefit from it?".

We will now inform them about;
  • Trading
  • Bounty campaign/Signature campaign
  • Gambling
  • Investing

And do not forget that bitcoin can also be use as alternate monetary system in terms of digital payments. However, I doubt if they will risk their money in this situation of crisis as majority of them badly need fiat for there major necessities especially in this lock down.
1783  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Akyat nanaman sa $6,000 ang Bitcoin! on: March 21, 2020, 07:08:46 AM
Well, this is a good sign.
1784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What indicators to use? on: March 20, 2020, 08:23:09 AM
Those were fine, i used MACD before Bollinger Band and RSI. But after learning other indicators that I think will work fine with my tradings, I have changed some indicators. Now, I have been using Stoch RSI, RSI, and EMA only. But remember, those were just your basis. Regardless how great you are at reading technical analysis, there are times that it isn't effective when whales were tend to enter the crypto market and make such unexpected sideways.

But I would admit, it helps me a lot in my tradings. It is significant to know how to read indicators, volume , etc. As it may contribute to the success of every trades.
1785  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins hodler on: March 20, 2020, 06:11:22 AM
Well, since last year pa ko nag ho hold ng mga altcoins. Hindi naman ako baguhan sa larangan ng pagiging altcoins holder so I will still hold at makakapag antay pa naman ako para sa muling pag angat nila since I do some "long term hold".

1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to try yourself in trading and investing on the crypto. on: March 20, 2020, 03:56:39 AM
Well, there is just one trading platform that offers some demo trading. Try Bitmex. You don't have to deposit or invest to try some trading here. https://testnet.bitmex.com/
However, if you are a newbie and doesn't have any background in trading. This is a complicated demo for you. It's because this is leverage trading. Or you can always try depositing small amount in an exchange like binance or other trading exchange and practice trading by buying low and selling high.

But still, it's quite hard as it needs you to learn more about trading. There are a lot for you to know like fundamental and technical analysis. I, myself took some time to learn those tools before doing actual trading.
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 20, 2020, 02:08:26 AM
That's a great use of bitcoin in case of this situation we are facing. I can actually pay bills with my btc thru online with my digital wallet so I don't have to go outside and still cooperating by all means from the government's advice in this lockdown. Since I also do some signature campaigns and they also advice us to work from home, it's still a win-win situation for me.

Good to hear you have introduced bitcoin to someone. Especially that btc is down atm then they can possibly buy at low and hold it until the price goes up. While others are using bitcoin wisely, other's don't want to spend their bitcoin in this market situation.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 20, 2020, 12:17:35 AM
I believe those who were at panic in times like this were the ones who are new at this crypto world. The fact that this will flactuate ease the worries of investors. And the moment that we invest bitcoin, we knew that we will experience volatile prices. This is not the worst bottom. Last year, we've seen btc at $3k but we still hold. Now is not the time to panic but see the good side and opporunity of it.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 19, 2020, 08:18:21 AM
Try with bustadice. It is legit. You can always check how many investors and how much is the total fund. Aside from the gambling site itself being established and reputable, the owners also have a good reputation.

1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trending Altcoins on: March 19, 2020, 04:06:52 AM
That's basically a proof that there are still altcoins that are shining and have been pumping even in this situation. I remembered investing in zilliqa before and yeah, it is indeed a good coin. No doubt about that since I also gained from it. But I am not familiar with the other coins though.

Got a little doubt with the other coins, pump amd dump group were always present to pump their own coin in this situation. And yeah, social media is really powerful promoting their projects. Just always choose the right project. It may be a trap or not.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: March 19, 2020, 02:24:05 AM
Honestly, I never experienced to bet in a real time casino place. I only play in online gambling thus I wanted to try even once that ambience you are saying. Anyway, I never stick to one game. That is one of the tips you have mentioned that I always did. Before, I only stick with dice but later on when my strategies dont work anymore, trying and changing to other games is kinda effective.

And about the budget. I always play enough. I just deposited the amount that I am willing to lose because I know for a fact that I am playing to gamble my money.
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 19, 2020, 12:28:06 AM
I can't believe they will come to the point of editing their technincal analysis just for the gain of the followers? Whay's wrong with these people? I also unfollow some of bitcoin analysts who always had wrong predictions and followed their wrong trades. I was fool back then by believing some of their tehcnical analysis.

The best thing we can do is to learn how to read technical and fundamental analysis. In that way, we can confidently stand our trafes without following any btc analysts who mostly were faked. Realtalk.
1794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has an identity crisis now? on: March 18, 2020, 02:38:09 PM
It is, somehow. It is formulated as p2p cryptocurrency. But it is said to believe in different ways by others. Thus, this identity  crisis is really happening now. But this will not change the fact this this bitcoin is an advantage to most of us here. In it's overall, it is still bitcoin where in we can do digital payments and transactions like it used to be which also doesn't need any third party.

However, when it comes to the financial freedom. Well, you can control over your bitcoin because they can't have any access to your own digital wallets.
1795  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Brighter sides ng events due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on: March 18, 2020, 10:07:52 AM

1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 18, 2020, 07:51:46 AM
I'm not being fooled but when my health is on the line, I would sell some of my portfolio to buy food, disinfectants, and other necessities in times like this. That is not a stupid decision, it is just common sense. If I survived this pandemic, there is always a chance to earn money and buy cryptocurrencies.

Well, you were indeed right. At this point when we have to stay at home because of this corona issue and we dont have any income, selling at loss to buy necessities like foods and medicines is not a stupid act. There are still people who needs money in this situation and have no choice but to cash out their bitcoin in their money. Our sake is more important.

Just think positively and we can still buy bitcoin when it will dump again. But for now, those who can't hold longer to buy their primary needs can't be avoided.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 18, 2020, 04:21:08 AM

What I don't understand, and I haven't been able to find the answer to, is if I own some bitcoin, how does that help me buy groceries at the market, or gas for my car? The market I go to doesn't accept bitcoin and neither do the gas stations. If I can't do that, how is bitcoin worth anything to me?

Look, you have to understand that it is hard to fully accept nee technology, new way of payments. There are few supermarkets, gasoline stations that accept bitcoin as a payment but it isn't widely used as the value of bitcoin tends to flactuate. You couldnt convinced all to spend their bitcoin because they regard it as a store value than spending it as a payment.

Also, how are people supposedly getting rich with bitcoin? I thought it was a currency, where we can buy things. Then I find that it's also a commodity where we can trade it.

Actually, bitcoin is also considered as a digital investment because of it's volatile characteristics. And to make it clear, it is "cryptocurrency", where you can use it to pay through online payments. We can also trade it. So in an overall, there are so many things we can do with bitcoin. And that's it's advantage.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 18, 2020, 03:22:46 AM
Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?

I would admit that I still gamble but with limits unlike before. Since we are facing some crisis recently i play safe and roll just small profits. We have to be careful with our rolling now. I still find time to gamble, it's fine as long as you are earning even small. This crisis makes everything become hard especially to those who got affected from work, businesses, etc. I hope this will come to an end so we can basically back to our regular daily lives.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 17, 2020, 11:06:20 AM
As long as we have internet connection we can still gamble. Although yeah, many sports were cancelled there is still other games online aside from sports betting that a player can choose from. Time to exit from addiction? It isn't easy. It's all in self control. Some sports were stopped because of this corona virus and they may just lessen the betting but that doesn't mean they may come out of addiction.
1800  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin's price, at ang ating mental health. on: March 17, 2020, 09:38:51 AM

Ngunit, I've been experienced this before and mas worst pa last year dahil bumaba hanggang $3k pero nakita ko naman kung paano ito tumaas ulit.
