1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you want to see in Bitcoin casinos? on: June 22, 2016, 11:45:50 AM
I would like to see bitcoin casino's do more for charity. All they do is taking away money from people.
Why not give a little bit back to people in need?
And because normal FIAT real world casinos are helping poor people all the time, right?
But I would rather see more generous promotions in a casinos, that I can verify myself, than possible empty claims that casino is supporting charity.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 22, 2016, 11:20:26 AM
I bet on Portugal before twice. Every time I lost because they couldn't even defeat extremely weak opponents like Iceland or score a goal against somewhat better Austria.
I won't bet on them in this match and wait to see how their game will be like. I will start betting when I see their form is getting better.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gulden.bet opens with betting on Euro 2016 and more to come! on: June 22, 2016, 10:54:57 AM
Is Gulden technically superior to bitcoin so you can't use both? Or you just want to promote Gulden. I mean I hope I'm wrong but to most of bitcoin users this conversion thing will be big turn off.
Yes, Gulden is technically superior to bitcoin.  Grin
Yeah, I heard that Ehtereum and The DAO is far superior to bitcoin too, like twice as good...

Anyway is there a particular reason why you don't allow direct gambling with bitcoin on your site?
My guess: you want to promote gulden so hard that potential additional profits from BTC users who find exchanging BTC to gulden bothersome is not that important.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you want to see in Bitcoin casinos? on: June 21, 2016, 04:16:00 AM

What do you want to see in Bitcoin casinos?
I want to see  live dealer in some casino games possibly with dealer young and beautiful woman  Cheesy
I feel the live dealer games are fairer  IMO
About this whole live dealing thing: we have plenty of casinos already having 'live' sections - Fortune Jack has it, Jetwin has it, and many more - the point being - it is not that rare anymore.
But about live dealing being fairer - I don't have opinion on that - just watch this short YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWYsGzayJMs and tell me that live dealing is foolproof

1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 21, 2016, 03:46:27 AM
Although Ukraine lost their previous matches in rather awful manner (both games vs Germany and North Ireland - lost 0:2) they are not that weak.
And they could become highly unpredictable in this match - as they have nothing to lose anymore. Poland vs. Ukraine could be just another upsetting match.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Resolution - No gambling on: June 21, 2016, 03:06:31 AM
Getting out of bed is one big gamble. Then again, 'If you're too careful, your whole life can become a f*ck'n grind.' (It's a quote from Rounders.)
I like that. Good analogy.

I don't like resolutions and I usually don't make them. I know that some of them I couldn't keep and 'no gambling' is certainly one of them.
In my opinion we all need to have some character defect, perfect people are boring and fake.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play ''Find the queen'' game for Bitcoin ? on: June 21, 2016, 02:30:22 AM
All I hope is that Op's implementation of 'Find the queen' game won't be something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWYsGzayJMs  Wink
Other than that I am sucker for new good games so I would definitely play this if your version of the game was created expertly.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: June 21, 2016, 02:20:04 AM
First of all, let's clear some popular misconception about gambling bots. Bots are not helping you win, they won't increase chances of winning at Dice or won't sway odds to your favor.
The only advantage of using bot IMO is automation of your betting process. You want to run 4000 bets starting from 1 satoshi using martingale? Use bot.
1790  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moneypot or Bitdice on: June 20, 2016, 02:51:02 AM
Op if you are wondering about investing bitcoins this list of of popular investment sites might be helpful for you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1136572.0
It is not that you have only 2 sites to chose from when you want invest. But investing is always a risk, especially bitcoin investments could be very dangerous.
1791  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live betting book? on: June 20, 2016, 02:06:32 AM
Check out the most popular sportsbook sites powered by bitcoin, some of them has live betting feature: Sportsbet.io directbet.eu, nitrogensports.eu, sports.mbitcasino.com, fairlay.com, sports.betcoin.ag
or maybe you would like some of these services better than your current sportbook?

1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble less when the BTC price is going up so fast? on: June 20, 2016, 01:16:31 AM
Yeah but in general people relate how much they want to gamble in relation to fiat. If BTC was half our value, people would take bets twice as large. And vice versa.
Exactly this. In the long run we may play with less BTC but if FIAT value of our bets stayed the same, so I guess nothing is changed.
And I don't think it is that important for casinos, if they wish the might convert BTC to FIAT if they expect a market collapse anyway.

1793  Economy / Gambling / Re: Should PrimeDice start to allow gambling with other cryptocurrencies? on: June 20, 2016, 12:56:34 AM
The dice sites can take any cryptocurrency and convert them to tokens for playing and again convert them back to currency when withdrawing. This way a site can support many coins without causing any lag on the game.

I don't think it matter about PrimeDice's coding abilities, they are perfectly capable of creating whatever is necessary to accept altcoins. I think it's more of not being necessary to PrimeDice, as altcoins can become a pain sometimes, with their fluctuating prices and how many there are.
If prices of altcoins are fluctuating and that is a problem then bitcoin is king of stability then. With price spikes of more than $300 in one day.
It is not about fluctuation, as PD or any other casino don't care about this. It is more a waste of time and effort to introduce something new for less than 1% of your userbase.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 20, 2016, 12:29:35 AM
Very few goals on this eurocup, and more draws than normaly. France had some opportunities to score but no luck, but the best opportunity could be for Switzerland if the referee saw a penal on last minutes.
Yeah, totally different tournament than Copa America where matches with 7 goals are not than uncommon. I guess European teams are really close matched or afraid to go all in.

That France vs. Switzerland draw was so unexpected that I think it is really hard to bet on 'sure winner' anymore.
It is the same situation as with my bets on Portugal, they are great team on paper but their current performance is disappointing.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 19, 2016, 03:50:20 AM
lost my hopes in portugal and it doesnt seems like they could win any match if that is how they play. It was very bad gameplay from portugal especially from ronaldo. He couldnt score like he used to in real madrid and nani is a selfish player that keeps on dribling the ball alone, he should have pass it more instead
So far big snipers of Euro 2016 look very disappointing. I was counting on great spectacle from Ronaldo and Lewandowski and so far they keep discouraging me even more.

From what I counted, so far the only country which managed to advance with 100% certainty to 'best 16' phase of tournament is Italy. A sign of greatness or lucky beginning?
1796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Azerbaijan has moved to Europe? on: June 19, 2016, 03:22:28 AM
Maybe I was in school too long ago, but I remember being taught about the Bosphorus strait, with Europe on the left, and Asia on the right. Well, I've just checked the news and I read an article about Formula 1 racing. The European Grand Prix is tomorrow and that will be in Baku. In Azerbaijan. That's in Asia to my eyes.

Yeah, well, Australian participated in the Eurovision and it's on the other side of the planet. I think they are flexible about sports and contests!  Grin
Eurovision is not about Europe anymore.
Apparently you can be Eurovision's participant if your country either like the contest (like Australia, very much European nation...) has similar mentality or roots (Israel) or just...
I don't know - pay the admission fee or something apparently.

On the side note, has anyone noticed that Azerbaijan is advertising itself aggressively during Euro 2016 matches? Seemingly they have a lot energy there...
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa america 2016 dicussion on: June 19, 2016, 02:51:14 AM
Now Mexico is going to win against Chile.

It is like they are playing at home, there are lots of Mexicans in the US.

My guess is Mexico wins 2-1
So far half of your prediction is right. Mexico after 30 minutes is currently losing 0:1. If they manage to score 2 goals in the second half your prediction will 100% correct. Wink

At this time it is most likely that we will see Semi-finals between USA, Argentina, Columbia and Chile. And I am certain that Argentina will be playing in finals vs. one these teams.

1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 19, 2016, 01:38:47 AM
Portugal 0 Austria 0   Shocked

I kinda predicted odds for Portugal win feel like trap and it ended up being so

Ronaldo always sucks for Portugal in the major tournaments for Portugal, he's not the same player as he is in club football.

Do you think Ronaldo accidentally do that? I think not he would be proud of giving a trophy for his country than club
from my point of view he could not find the right partner in different teams while in club he got the ball with a supply of good bait making it easy to score. Another factor may be the pressure of the fans are all looking forward to him so it becomes a mental burden during play
Ronaldo is so experienced at this point that I doubt, that he gives a damn about what people think about him.
He is one of the most successful players in the world - saying that is is not playing well because he is stressed by the position he is in - is not justified by facts.

Portugal as a team is just not good. People might want to notice that and stop betting on them.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: June 19, 2016, 01:22:23 AM
Well if it's an easy way you want then obviously just go do some bet spamming with dice or something. That's obviously the easiest to use and no knowledge is required. If you really want to earn and work towards making money with gambling you need to study No Limit Texas Holdem. That's where real professionals earn millions.
Being master of Poker is like being master of anything else: pro gamer, pro athlete, pro soccer player. Saying that one should study and learn how to play on the highest possible level is like saying:
'yeah, become a movie star, it is so easy to earn millions then'.

The problem is - not everyone can do it. If that was the case we will have more professional gamblers than people who work everyday.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: June 19, 2016, 01:14:00 AM
winning and loosing in gambling is depending on luck. i will never leave gambilng if i loose.

That's called a gambling problem my friend.
You are bound to lose, which means you keep playing and giving those casino's your money.

A vicious circle...
His logic might be fawed but he has made a fair point. YOu should quit your gambling session after a win, when you are ahead, even a little.
But instead vast majority of people I know, or I see online is repeating the same error of being ahead->wanting more->playing->losing everything.
