1781  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 04, 2022, 07:38:38 PM
This is indeed great leap after a while but too early to comment on possible bitcoin rally unless it stays above $40k for a while because the last time I saw posts in this forum they were saying the same thing when bitcoin crossed $38k two days ago only to be dropped back to $36k.

But right bitcoin might gain some momentum as this pump has become mainstream and may pool in more investments from the users who will invest in FOMO due to the following news which indirectly predicts a further bullrun.

1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin theft and mobile phone on: February 04, 2022, 05:44:19 PM
This is just like friends or family members stealing money at gunpoint or by getting person drunk and this can happen in all the situations with any asset. But this is why hardware wallets has to be utilizes if you are holding more bitcoin than you need because any sort of fraud can happen to online wallets as are prone to get hacked or easily tricked.

This should be considered as a general fraud as similar thing can happen with your bank account as well and this is not limited to bitcoin or crypto alone.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Son of elon on: February 04, 2022, 12:55:34 PM
It's sad to see anyone can create coins with whatever name they want and scam newbies and we have forgotten the very reason why bitcoin was developed by Satoshi Nakamoto.

We should never go for these coins which are created under some existing brands or influencer's name even if they openly endorse it as we will not have financial freedom until we keep falling in their trap and Satoshi's vision to get rid of bank controlling our funds will be changed to capitalists controlling our fund and finance if we have all the capitalists in the crypto domain.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT presales vs ICOs on: February 04, 2022, 10:54:52 AM
There is no difference which is why many will dump so hard that they will not have any value again and people will be giving away their NFT for free. This was a bad timing for the NFT hype just as 2017 was a bad time for ICO because immediately after the bear market came and wiped out the market. Some of the project are still struggling upto this moment and same fate is awaiting NFT.

Looking at the NFT launching everyday, they lack authenticity and just copy and paste of previous successful project and that was exactly how the ICO Ara was been ran. There would be some surviving ones but how to spot those ones that is now the issue.

Rather I would say NFT pre-sales is second version of ICOs as they have similarities like hype and greedy mindset of investors who just wait for the minute to dump the tokens, we shouldn't be falling for this trap like we did previously with ICOs it's going to be chaos again because users are so short sighted and end up dumping tokens just for their profits.

Copy pasting the content of successful projects and whitepaper plagiarism was common in ICO and the same applies to NFTs as well, we need better technology and services insted and same being copied and redesigned.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for Feb on: February 04, 2022, 08:28:59 AM
I have not seen Bitcoin having bullrun at the begining of the year as per last few years data it has always been the other way around, I don't think there would be any bullrun sooner but at the same time price will not drop like previous bearish market. Market will remains sideways for this month unless there is an breaking news impacting bitcoin like regulators floating one more earning against crypto or countries legalizing bitcoin, apart from any such news bitcoin will remain sideways atleast for now.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins released during market crash on: February 04, 2022, 06:49:40 AM
We were already aware that most of the altcoin's which were launched in last 2 years prospered just because of bull run and not due to their offerings as there are a lot of coins which are going to disappear from market now and hype factor created a major role as there was NFT wave, defi wave and metaverse wave we have seen coins gaining over 10x and then eventually dropping down below the ICO price, but some coins which have good roadmap and doesn't depend on bullrun for pump will thrive regardless of bear or bullrun.

We should be partly be blamed for these things wherein we fill out coffers with any coin which we see has pumped without researching just for temporary gain and end up losing much more than that.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best tokens for arbitrage trading? on: February 03, 2022, 08:12:00 PM
Arbitrage is a thing of past and we would be just wasting our time and money trying to find arbitrage, moreover it's not just the dfferent in the price we have to consider the transaction charges and the time it will take for that particular token to be transferred to the exchange where you can sell it at higher price because low cap tokens will have price difference but either the withdawal fee will be very high or it will only be trade only token, even if you find tokens with price difference sometimes exchange will restrict the withdrawal and yes it has happened with me on Gate.io.

1788  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 03, 2022, 06:37:31 PM
There is a lot which is going on behind our naked eyes which is a deciding factor for the bitcoin's price and it would be foolishness to assume that bitcoin's price will keep increasing till the level of infinity. A sudden dump don't scare me but this gradual dip which we have seen last few months scares me because we are in dilemma whether it's a buying phase or we will be trapped.

I would suggest we need to be ready for both dump and dump, also for some crazy rules from the regulator as I have heard crypto tax has been introduced in India wherein crypto incomes will be taxed at 30% but they cannot show the loss for any tax exemption which is the worst thing to happen if other countries adopt such rules.
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CIFI COINS on: January 26, 2022, 08:34:51 PM
It's cruel not to pay for bounty participants after they have promoted the project and it just shows their real face when they can do this to the bounty hunters they may do this with investor's as well. These sort of projects are giving bad name to new projects and tats why everyone is sceptical about new projects.

If they fear that hunters will dump the tokens then atleast they can release the payments in part like some of the projects does to avoid massive dump by hunters instead of holding their rewards and banning them.

I will never suggest to invest into such project as eventually everyone including the invetsors will be treated the same way as hunters were treated
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 26, 2022, 07:17:18 PM
How many time have you seen defi coins pumping when bitcoin is dumping? I don't think you will find any defi coin in green when bitcoin drops but rather you will see defi coins losing more compared to bitcoin, we cannot compare defi projects with Bitcoin as defi projects are comparatively new where bitcoin is decade old and still surviving and driving the market so it's a baseless comparision and portrayal of bitcoin in negative lights.
1791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: January 26, 2022, 06:16:17 PM
It is bit stressful process to be honest, i have tried it and finally gave up as you need to hold funds in multiple exchanges and most of the time the platform where you will get a particular coin at lesser price will have a hefty withdrawal fee while you try to transfer t to other exchange where you can sell it for higher price and the amount of profit which you recieve after going through all the hassle is nothing compared to the efforts you out it to search the arbitrage and maintaining funds in multiple exchanges. There are websites koinknight which offered premium packages for arbitrage but most of the time they are incorrect.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investor Psychology on: January 26, 2022, 04:58:23 PM
This will be the the case forever as every dip reminds them about the year 2018 and they believe it's a repeat of 2018 for every dump but this time around it's different I see more people buying Bitcoin now since it has crossed $38k after dropping down and I think users have learnt the lesson as they wait for the price to hit bottom and once it starts bouncing back they make entry which was not the case earlier. I am happy atleast we are learning from previous mistakes and just wish this is not one more bull trap.
1793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LAtoken - exchange or gambling? on: January 26, 2022, 03:20:07 PM
I don't know if it's the fault of exchange at all but have you done any research before you hop into this project? Good thing you realize your mistake but I wouldn't call it gambling rather it's a blind investment on your side. Haven't been into this exchange but why settle to exchanges that has shady things happening internally? I think you hop in into this exchange or project knowingly it pumps coin to riches, should just be my hunch though.

Indeed, it was my mistake wherein I jumped into the projects by just looking at the trading volume but never thought a coin can drop to such an extend even when it has a huge trading volume. I have learnt a lesson in hard way not to go for any new coins listed in exchanges like LAToken and purpose of this post is to create awareness amongst others to save them from falling for such traps at the expense of making myself look naive by accepting my mistake as sometimes greed takes over our mind and we end up doing such mistakes.
1794  Economy / Trading Discussion / LAtoken - exchange or gambling? on: January 26, 2022, 01:46:47 PM
I have been trying out Latoken exchange for a last few weeks and guess what you will find coins pumping 1000% from $1 to $1000 and eventually dropping down to $0.001 within few days. I had invested into Arbismart which had good market cap and I bought this coin for $120 and within a week it dropped down to $0.5 and now it's trading at $0.6. i have lost capital in other three coins as well in this exchange I know it's my fault that I invested without much research but most of the coins have made people either a millionaire or a bankrupt overnight. I believe there is a some high level of manipulation happening with this exchange. What's your thought on this?
1795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing the right exchange on: January 25, 2022, 09:07:04 PM
As per the screenshot there is a gap between the buying price and selling price, I am sure you will not be able to buy at market price in gate.io because the sellers wants to sell above the market price and buyers want to get it under the market price in Kucoin, so it would be a stalemate wherein your order will not be filled. I would suggest you to find the real arbitrage with some other coin wherein the prices will vary but atleast buyers and sellers should be buying and selling around the market price.
1796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop? on: January 25, 2022, 08:09:00 PM
This is just like saying institutions who have invested into Bitcoins are in debt now just because the value has dropped and it doesn't makes sense. They are government and not a newbie to panic sell the Bitcoins just for a drop of around 20% it shouldn't be concerning them as the Bitcoin will not be spent until it pumps back and infact bitcoin will be gamechanger for them if they buy during dips.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is at the most oversold level on: January 25, 2022, 07:20:03 PM
This kind of posts will only increase panic selling and fear, I know the market has been bearish but not oversold and we only come across these sort of post after the market is dumped or goes through correction phase and why don't we have these before any major pump or dump? Ups and downs has been a part of crypto market and we should get used to it instead of panic selling or buying in FOMO.
1798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 25, 2022, 06:30:40 PM
I don't think $34k is the bottom as I thought the same when bitcoin was fluctuating around $45k and again when it found some stability around $40k but it eventually dropped down. I don't think we can consider $34 or even $30k as the support unless bitcoin's value cross $40k and rally towards $50k because we are witnessing gradual decrease in the value of bitcoin which is definitely not a good sign and these one or two days of minor recovery don't undo the damage which has already caused.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 25, 2022, 05:54:16 PM
I would say if you hold a coin which has something better to offer in terms of technology then you don't have to worry about these temporary market fluctuations because eventually these coins will pump. When I say these coins I meant good coins not meme or shit coins hence i would advice you to hodl on with C98 as it has scope for growth unlike Dogecoin which need tweet or support from billionaire and influencers.
1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 07:57:32 PM
Bitcoin is now under $39k as the reliable support level of $40k has failed so what's next? Where will this lead us to?
Nobody knows but for some technical analysis that I've seen, going up is what's the possible next move of it.

I remember when bitcoin was trading around $48k to $50k then we had a sudden dip of over 20% wherein again bitcoin gained it's momentum within 1 or 3 days and back at $46k and then it gradually started dropping down to $40k and I feel same thing is happening now wherein there is a dump and bitcoin will gain momentum but again it will gradually drop else it might take a pump hard on its way to $50k. What's are you thoughts on this?
Is this when it has reached $28k last year and then eventually recovered back until we've reached close to $70k? We don't know if the same logical pattern is happening or we're just really going through the entering of the bear market.

Either of them, we have to hold and if you see this as a good buy, you do it while the price are lower these times.

I was referring to the dump which took place around first week of December for a day wherein bitcoin's price dropped from around $51k to $42k and recovered back above $50k within two days.

Yes we cannot be sure if the same logical pattern will repeat or there would be something different this time but we have to remember one thing that regardless of dump bitcoin will recover and go past its previous ATH like it did last year after a gap of 3 years but the problem her wish not everyone are long term Hodlers so most of us cannot survive for longer period if the 2018 bear run repeat though the possibilities are very low. Next few days would be crucial and mould the market.
