Borussia Dortmund's defense was quite difficult to penetrate by Manchester City in the first half, because they played quite well in the bottom row, but unfortunately after scoring a goal Borussia Dortmund played defensively, thus creating opportunities for Manchester City to hold the ball more. Disaster came after the first goal, City continued to press and attack, until Haland was able to lock the victory in the 84th minute
Basically I watched the entire game. Borussia Dortmund played really well. They always prevented Manchester City from getting the ball. Their defense has shown great potential. I expected them to win the game. But Haland's goal in the last phase of the game put Dortmund behind and ultimately defeated.

Totally agree, it's not that Dortmund doesn't give any fight, they play really well too, especially their defense, both the center back and their GK has been very discipline the entire match, only did few small mistake. Haaland was just a very sharp striker, know a good position and know how to finish an attack very well. Overall Dortmund still has very high chance to go to the knock-out stage, so this lose to City is not that big of a deal.

To lose to Manchester city is not that big of a deal. Manchester city is a superb team made up of top notch players that play as a team to get the desired goal. Dortmund played well and tried their best. They were rewarded with a goal but couldn’t hold or  keep up the pressure as Manchester city came from behind and scored 2 goals to win the match. Haaland with the late goal came through for Manchester city to score and win the game against his former teammates. Haaland is undeniably a prolific striker and he’s bound to make a difference in his time at Manchester city.
1782  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Corruption ok on: September 16, 2022, 12:23:47 PM
Corruption has been going on secretly and openly all over the world. So called developed and under developed countries experience corruption. It has gone on for so long that we seem not to be able to do without it. It has somewhat become a norm to delve in corruption. Corruption is never okay but now, if you wouldn’t be corrupted, you would most likely be booted out. With corruption, we can’t possibly grow as a nation.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: September 16, 2022, 12:16:59 PM
I think Satoshi’s faceless identity gave a great boost to the success of bitcoin. The fact that the creator of bitcoin chose to remain anonymous despite the fame and gain the coin has gathered over the years. Most likely, if the creator wasn’t keen on remaining anonymous, the coin wouldn’t have retained the value it has attained today. Surely it can be considered as a success strategy but definitely not the greatest success strategy.

I was shocked to hear the news. indeed the results shown by Chelsea in the EPL are also not so good. but Tuchel's dismissal seemed too hasty.
maybe the club management does not want to linger too long with bad results. but what goes wrong when the management itself doesn't talk much when the transfer window opens?
we can see Chelsea's back line is very bad. and looking for players for the next transfer window as well as managers will certainly make Chelsea a lot of losses at the beginning of this season.
there are already several names of coaches that have become rumors for Chelsea. one of them you mentioned.

I also was shocked at the news of the sack of Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel. Admittedly, Chelsea’s has had a few recent bad spells in the premier league but the dismissal of the coach was indeed hasty. The search to find a new coach is now on; perhaps, a new coach has already been decided on and would soon be publicly announced. Hopefully, the new coach would do what is necessary in order to move the club forward.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: September 07, 2022, 12:41:34 PM
Chelsea have officially sacked Thomas Tuchel!

After losing to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League last night he is no longer Chelsea's coach. This was very sudden honestly. I don't know why Todd Boehly didn't want to give him more time. You shouldn't sack a coach just for getting unsatisfying results for a few weeks. We are talking about a coach which made the team champions in the Champions League not much time ago. All teams can have good and bad times. Tuchel's credit shouldn't have been this much low for the team. Besides we are only at the beginning of the season. This is too early to make a decision about whether to sack a coach or not. I hope this doesn't hurt the team much more while they are in search of a new coach.

This came as a bit of a surprise to me. I wonder why they would let him go after losing their first champions league match. The decision by the management to let him go is perhaps the best thing for the club. After spending a whole lot in the transfer window and making some major improvements in the club. All teams can have good and bad times; that is true and I’m still baffled as why he was let go suddenly.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 07, 2022, 12:31:02 PM
The performance of Liverpool in this season is too unstable at the moment and they will need to play against Napoli away from their home stadium for their first Uefa Champions League game this season, I think it is a terrible timing for Liverpool to be playing against Napoli today and I guess Liverpool will suffer a loss at the final whistle.

Liverpool may surely suffer a defeat at the end of the game. Their gameplay at the moment is a bit unsteady and not like the last two seasons. The opponent on the other hand is a tough nut to crack. Napoli is a formidable team and while playing at its home ground is an added boost, they’ve got a well put together team that would give any top rated team a tough time. The odds are against Liverpool in this game but in the game of football, there are surprises and Liverpool could very well pull a fast one.
1787  Other / Off-topic / Re: My View on Brand-Newbies to Legendary Members in the Forum on: July 22, 2022, 05:07:11 PM

Just like that? Is this the way you accused people, or the topic or the content is confusing? Mate I believe you became a legendary member based on your hardworking and you deserved (merited) to be. You did not jump or buy your legendary membership level. And I also believe that you passed through all the stage mentioned by the OP. That is you have small knowledge at least for all the stages even. Let me give you an illustration for more understanding. If a student graduate from a university with a first class honored degree and a year one student asked him a question from his field, and the graduate said he doesn't know, what do you think the junior student will feel? Although they are some junior students that are doing second degree in the same University with different course. Therefore, they might have knowledge more than the graduate.

Lastly: I believe you are a graduate of University. Not really sure, but probability formula is used.  When you were in school. Lecturers did not make you laugh in any day? And also be serious about his Teaching as well? Why the accusation of merit begging? A good teacher makes his students to laugh, tell them fictional stories at some times to make the class lively and also to remove boring from the students. Any how a teacher is knowledgeable, there are time his class are bore, so good teacher would detect very fast and give them story to mup up. The OP analogy might not be true because he or she was not around when the merit system has not been introduced, so he didn't know what was happening by then but the thread might also be correct from the structural analysis.

The thread is even based on the structural analysis. Not on Personality. Personally I know that they are some legendary newbies in the forum. I have been making comments on that issue time without number, there are some threads a newbie would create that is very good. I am not begging for merit please.

I think you got irritated with what was said and went on to give a short essay explaining your original post and how it shouldn’t be viewed as a merit begging post.
One would think you wouldn’t have the urge to explain yourself if it really isn’t a merit fishing post. But what do I know? I’m just a freshman in “our college”
1788  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid buying land in dispute to avoid wasting of economic resources on: July 21, 2022, 08:06:51 PM

This has been happening in land properties in our country. There are really greedy people who would purchase a land property regardless of its land issues as long as it's being sold at a low price. Both parties would end up fighting and suffering for their land rights. We must consult a legal expert's advice to avoid land issues and conflicts so our hard-earned money will never be wasted.

Greed is a big factor on what makes scams like this successful

If people are so blinded by greed to knowingly purchase a land in dispute cause it was offered at a ridiculously low price and end up losing both money and land, I wouldn’t have a shred of sympathy for such an individual.
I agree with you on the need to get a legal aid if going through the process of getting the land is overwhelming.
1789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: don't be fooled by titles. on: July 21, 2022, 02:08:07 PM
This is a very good advice to the newbies. Newbies this days are not even here to learn but for another interior motives. Most time when I see newbies post I even wonder whether if it is a newbie that wrote the thread because when I come compared my newbies days. I really struggled if not because I was very serious to learn in this forum I would not become the level where I am today. This thread is a good guide for the newbies whose aspirations are motivated by the titles of a thread. Scammers are subtle like the serpent, they have different methods to attract their preys.
As for me I have learned my lesson from scammers. I really suffered from them. I have been scammed for about 20 + times. I believed I have said this in my early days in the forum. But mostly you can see these scammers on Facebook and telegram. They are also here but because of the strict rules in the forum they can not show face. Scammers also use celebrities to deceived people mostly the fans of the particular celebrity.

I was for a second speechless when I came across this. This is almost unbelievable! One would think you would have learnt your lesson after maybe the first 5 times or 10 times but for you to get scammed 20+ times is unbelievable. I think if you are as serious as you claim to be on the forum with your posts, you would have learnt something after the first 5 times to say the least. 20 times!! Wow.
1790  Other / Off-topic / Re: My View on Brand-Newbies to Legendary Members in the Forum on: July 21, 2022, 01:24:48 PM
Nice view you’ve got. But your views are flat out wrong as this is not like an international university and there are no lecturers or professors. Your college classification with colorful pictures of smiling studious students are wrong cause a profile having a legendary tag doesn’t make the user all smart and all knowing. A newbie can also be as knowledgeable as any legendary member.
1791  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid buying land in dispute to avoid wasting of economic resources on: July 21, 2022, 01:01:55 PM
I honestly can’t comprehend why someone would have an interest to purchase a land that’s on dispute. It doesn’t make any sense and I think the post is inessential. Most people are diligent in their quest to purchase a property like land.
I admit there must be fraudulent individuals and mushroom organizations that would seek to defraud people, and that is where due diligence from your part comes in. And if it’s too difficult to research things for yourself, get a third party like a lawyer to act on your behalf
1792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: don't be fooled by titles. on: July 17, 2022, 02:27:23 AM
In my opinion, This should be common knowledge as titles, being created by man to feel important and differentiate the so called elites from the common man and to further widen the ever increasing gap between the wealthy class and the poor.
Titles do not make a person nor does it magically make its holder a honorable person with integrity.
And I think it’s obvious no CEO or MD of an organization would go around in any platform giving poor, uninteresting sales pitch and then trying to get people to “invest in this hot deal”.
I guess it’s always safe to highlight this to create more awareness so newbies and people in general would not fall prey to shady people bearing shady titles.
1793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it's so hard to rank-up? on: July 17, 2022, 12:38:36 AM
Is it really?
First off, I don’t think ranks should be that much of a priority or a big deal. Although, it’s only natural to want to increase and grow on here and everywhere else. I think we should be working hard to grow or “rank up” in our lives and be better humans and not bothering about ranks on a forum on the web.
Besides, I’ve observed that to a newbie or a low ranking member, the higher up’s tend to give their honest thoughts and opinions on questions asked without putting the person down irrespective of how dumb and stupid the questions may seem.
Back to your question; i have gone through the rules of the forum and the requirements needed to rank up and I don’t think it’s difficult to climb through the ranks. Every legendary member on here was once a newbie.

Arsenal continue to make good signings. Now they are so close to finishing the agreement for Oleksandr Zinchenko. The agreement between the teams has already completed. Arsenal are discussing the terms and contract with the player now. This deal will most probably show the door for Tavares as I said before. Zinchenko would most probably be Arteta's first choice.

I think most clubs are gearing up for the new season with top English clubs making fantastic signings.  Spanish leagues also are seeing amazing signings also with latest signing Lewandoski booking a spot in Barcelona squad.
Of course the English league isn’t left out with it’s new signings.
I think the new season would be really thrilling as every club seem to be gearing up and prepped for the new season.
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: July 16, 2022, 11:32:55 PM
I think it’s brilliant you’re browsing through other peoples thoughts and opinions on where you should invest. It’s a good thing you aren’t hasty and in a rush to go into the business world of investments.
Some people rush into investing with little or no relevant knowledge on what they’re about to pledge their funds to. And sadly, most of these hasty investors end up having a sad story to tell about their early investments.
As a newbie, I think the best bet for you to invest in is bitcoin. It’s the safest bet amongst the other alt coins and with lots of patience and perseverance, you would make a decent return on investment.
I would like to add that you should only invest with spare funds or money kept aside for exactly that purpose and not having to gamble on using money meant for rent or bills to invest.
1796  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: July 16, 2022, 10:56:50 PM
Your theory is baseless but a theory nevertheless. But I’m glad you acknowledged the fact that the theory originated from wild tales and rumors from conspiracy theorists aiming to push or spread a certain propaganda to mislead people.
Personally I always keep an open mind and tend to go though these theories not minding how absurd it may sound. In this case, I find it hard to believe that the government (which government exactly?) created bitcoin.
Every government has to have some sort of control over various aspects of a citizens life to be able to keep the citizen “in check”. A “normal” government would not create a structure that gives its citizens some sort of financial freedom.
Most governments round the globe has rebuked btc and tried to poison the mind of it’s citizenry against the use of btc cause it’s something they have little control over.
In my opinion, no government has a hand in the creation of bitcoin.
1797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pictures on users profile? on: July 15, 2022, 11:14:58 AM
I think most people would prefer to remain anonymous on this forum. I think users on the forum do not use their real photos and choose to use various avatars for a reason.
Besides, the forum isn’t exactly like other social platforms and I personally think it’s best to remain anonymous on here.
There are weird creepy people out there
1798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Lite on: July 15, 2022, 10:51:50 AM
You’re thoughts are tenable cause one can observe the similarities in policies, rhetorics in both the failed rulers. Who knows? He may very well have some slick move up his sleeve as I won’t even be surprised if he did some last drastic move to extend his stay at no 10
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: July 15, 2022, 10:21:02 AM
Your question on the subject topic I think is highly rhetorical as humans have survived in far worse conditions before btc became a thing. So I don’t think you should be worried as you’re probably be just fine.
You could maybe also get a job like most people and get paid in fiat as I think that would help living in a society where btc is restricted
1800  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 20, 2022, 07:23:11 AM
When venturing into either the stock markets or investing into a certain project, you should keep in mind that In whatever you’re investing in, there may be losses incurred. It’s not all projects or investments that turns out successful. “Ongoing successful” investments or businesses sometimes do incur losses at some point in its lifespan.
That said, you should do your PROPER research and planning. You should try to envisage the future so you would make wise and better decisions in order to make a good ROI. This cannot be overemphasized cause of its importance.
Also when investing, you invest with spare money that’s kept aside for that purpose. You do not use your rent or money meant for other purposes to invest in some “fantastic deal” and most likely end up losing out. That’s why you only invest with money that’s kept aside.

In my opinion, when investing it is wise to always diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket.
