1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 hour till the Federal Reserve Emergency Meeting on: November 26, 2015, 02:24:43 AM
Odds are a 1 full point increase, which will spark the second asian currency crisis and most likely the collapse of China's economy
So essentially your saying this will f**k-up everybodys Black Friday.

This will make bitcoin's price go spiralling downward by tomorrow morning.
Well that ruins my Thanksgiving.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2015, 02:20:56 AM
...
They can't influence a price increase/decrease. You need to be a credible news source to do that.

Or run an exchange.
Oh yeah, that too Cheesy
Forgot about that, thanks for the reminder  Wink
1784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit locking withdraws scam, get your funds out fast. on: November 26, 2015, 02:15:11 AM
So YoBit is officially defunct as a company? No surprise there.
What about those in their signature campaign? Are they officially not going to get payments now?
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2015, 02:11:16 AM
FOX News vomits BS story about ISIS and BTC- Price pumps.  Cheesy Hahahaaa
Any link to that? If it from Fox it must be true  Tongue

1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: November 26, 2015, 02:09:16 AM
There is only one word for a gambler's behavior.
And that word is:
GREED

Without that why else would a gambler want to play a game that he/she would throw money into unless they want to profiteer from it? The addiction part comes when they want to try to win back what they lost.
The ones saying it is fun and entertaining that is utter nonsense.
1787  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any bet sites with real bonus deposit on: November 26, 2015, 01:42:32 AM
Cloudbet matches your first deposit bonus up to 5 BTC, I've personally received/withdrawn my whole bonus so I can vouch for its legitimacy.

Link:

https://www.cloudbet.com/en/?af_token=b5fd8d6be497331cd445be9327694ab5
But you need to earn loyalty points and usually that means you need to spend almost 8x as much to get all your deposit bonus back.
1788  Other / Meta / Re: Post count for member is "leet" what does this mean? on: November 26, 2015, 01:34:04 AM
simply means 1337 posts ,its a geek ting
I know what Leet speak is. I just wanted to know if it is valid in the forum or not.
We are not entitled enough to be elite around here only a selected few.  Cheesy
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could you share Your first time BTC Experience? on: November 26, 2015, 01:30:06 AM
Started using faucets worst decision of my life
They are not a real good way to start into bitcoin because you nothing really from doing it the first time and generally you would turned off to using them and bitcoin all together.
In order to get into the swing of things and to understand the mechanism of work is quite a small amount at first for training.
I agree with that statement but once you do it once or twice it just seems useless to continue after that because your time is worth more than a fraction of a penny worth of bitcoin.
1790  Other / Meta / Post count for member is "leet" what does this mean? on: November 26, 2015, 01:27:17 AM
I noticed that the post count for a member here is not showing a numeric value but the word "leet" instead. Is this the forum equivalent to an odometer on the car going over it's allowable counted limit on the system?
Here is the hero member that I noticed this on:
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=29498

Strange isn't it? Haven't seen this for any other member here. Or does a person have to ask to have that changed to something of their choosing? Maybe a hidden option in the profile settings?
1791  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: November 26, 2015, 01:14:53 AM
High risk investment  Roll Eyes
Why investment? Because you are wasting your time in investing into something that is pointless to start doing.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with bitcoin mixers, etc. if bitcoin becomes truly anonymous? on: November 26, 2015, 01:12:20 AM
It can not be truly anonymous even if dark market succeeds.
Their will always be a need for bit mixers in my opinion. They don't have nothing to fear.

Why it cant be trully anonymous? There a lot of talk about confidential transactions or zero cash for bitcoin.
It is darknet/market we are talking about. Somebody will eventually create a backdoor to track every transaction. You don't think the big bosses of even the anti virus companies haven't come up with the tools to do that when they have issues. Everybody knew that Bill gates had programming code to get into his products thru this method, why not these darknet programmers doing the code for this?
If said backdoor is created to track every transaction. I think those black markets would move over to more anonymous coins. You don't need to track legit bitcoin users, that would be just a waste of time and resource.
Yes but they can pick and choose who they want to do a track down on. Don't under estimate what can be done. It can all be done. Come on! Nothing in this world, especially in the digital world (hasn't Assange taught us anything Roll Eyes), is totally secure from someone with an intent to find out what they want to know.

1796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big Dumps on Black Friday? on: November 26, 2015, 12:34:22 AM
Don't really expect it to go rocket high. That's not how really the market works.Even if the prices will go substantially high we can see it going up by units from today itself. But since it haven't I don't think its going to get affected so much in the next two days .Also if it happens it will be a great time for all the bitcoin owners to buy stuff which will have slightly expensive transaction fees than our regular trades.
It does look like it is pumping up a bit now from what it was 12 hours ago. Almost $20 more then when I checked this morning. So what else could be the cause of this.
I think it is in anticipation of the upcoming of the spending on Black Friday.  Grin
1797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the sudden spike in Chinese volume? on: November 26, 2015, 12:19:05 AM
Here we go for another ride Smiley  I hope..

Maybe the run to $500 was just a little test, and the test passed, now it's time for the real deal?

https://www.okcoin.cn/market.do

LOL!

Bitcoin gets a $10 rise from the depths of a horrendous correction, and that is it, $10K Bitcoin by 2016!

I know, the nieve think it is the pump everyone is waiting for when it was just a pass of gas by the whales.  Cheesy
Correction is done. Look to the horizon.
1798  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: November 26, 2015, 12:01:28 AM
I could make a percentage of what I sell and get it paid to the payment processor of my choosing.
Without fees or charges of any kind would be nice  Wink

1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: November 25, 2015, 11:18:33 PM
Very hard to see it even reach that level by the end of the year the way it is acting on the price today.
Might see it at mid mark by June.July next year.
