1782  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: November 24, 2016, 09:58:42 PM
basically an account with poor or anything under excellent/fair is kinda crap and "buyers" gonna avoid it and there isn't much profit from it.
in the other hand an account with -excellent- needs many chars so it is harder to achieve for the accounts farmer and will expose the low quality posters easily tho.
pro/cons exists as always, i would say that i find pro>cons here personally Smiley
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: November 21, 2016, 08:34:32 PM
Anyone know where is located Nauru Island or Belize in this world? No.. No they do not
Anyone know what is their currency? No.. They do not
Anyone know the previous president of Philippines? No.. They do not

Of course you will find people who know theses informations but the majority didn't
Bitcoin went famous in the media when the price was around $1200, before that it wasn't that known (same goes for my last example)
When they built cars for the first time, not everyone was having one, and for sure people in some place around the world didn't heard about it.
It is a matter of time gentleman, everyone will hear about it one day, just wait for the big push  Wink
1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Manipulation is real on: November 20, 2016, 07:21:14 PM
I came back from school like 3 hours ago , I first checked preev.com and the price was 747$ or something now It's currently 715$ . I now know for sure that this definitely some manipulation by some rich millionaires and It has nothing to do with India cash news. Feel free to share your thoughts !

$732-733 in the Chinese exchanges and around $715-721 In the other ones. Manipulation? Maybe. Trading et al. sure.
That is bitcoin and it will remains like that Smiley
Big whales, where is kwukduck? Tongue
1785  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-18] 5 Merits of Bitсоinѕ That You Didn't Know on: November 20, 2016, 07:08:35 PM
So the 5 things are financial trading, playing Poker, lending, Guns and you are the owner of your money alone...
The quality of this article is a little bit poor, maybe it could be useful for the beginners but it could be improved  Smiley
1786  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 20, 2016, 03:50:50 PM
what about maximum amount available in post/weekly   | post/monthly campaign column ??

There is already a column for the maximum posts to be credited per week or per month
For example the 777coin campaign has a max of 80 posts per week... Etc
(Don't know if you mean something else about your question)
1787  Other / Meta / Re: New Global Moderator Election [Discussion] on: November 19, 2016, 06:45:24 PM
Some mods are more active or exactly are less silent in their actions than others. I feel that the vote is a little bit biased by this fact but it remains valid imo.
Will vote later tho, prefer that the new global mod (if approved by Theymos) think twice before taking decisions that could be controversial...
Good luck for everyone.

1789  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-17] Bitcoin Price Continues Surge, Nearly Scaling $750 on: November 17, 2016, 07:22:14 PM
the article is talking about the influence of Chinese demand & the devaluation of the Yuan and its influence on the bitcoin price which may be accurate..
for the Indian part of the story well i don't think that it is responsible on its own in driving the price up to 750 USD, it may has an influence but it isn't that big imo

There will always be gap between two exchange platforms not only between chinese and non-chinese platform. Price in btc-e, bitstamp and bitfinex also differs always which most of the time depends upon the trading volume, number of traders, deposit/withdraw option trading platform have. This is normal..

Indeed, see the difference in tradeblock and especially between the Chinese and the others

Bitfinex USD 742.54

1791  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-15] India’s rupee restrictions are boosting demand for bitcoin on: November 16, 2016, 04:22:45 PM
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to withdraw 500 and 1000 rupee notes from circulation has sparked interest in bitcoin among India's consumers.
Following last week's announcement that the notes were no longer legal tender, sales volumes for bitcoin increased on several exchanges for the digital currency, according to The Hindustan Times.

but the price of bitcoin has raised coordinately in the Indian exchanges up to 800 USD for 1 BTC which is very frustrating for the buyers

Why is it frustrating for them? Because they have to pay a massive premium over the USD based market price? If that's what you mean, then I can understand that, but it just shows that the demand far exceeds the actual supply on Indian exchanges. When that is the case, and by doing some quick research, it also shows that this is the case, then people are willing to pay more just to get themselves some coins. This will change when people will use this premium as a motivation to withdraw some coins from western exchanges, and sell them at Indian exchanges.

i mean it is good to see that the demand exceeds the supply on theses exchanges but at the same time for someone who is willing to buy 1 bitcoin he is obliged to purchase it with 100 USD difference from the average price in the other exchanges  Wink

The utopia would have bitcoin as its currency and there would be no mandatory taxes or gun control.

Jedlicka was fined when he tried to enter Liberland from Croatia. This past summer, he was not allowed to enter Croatia

So Croatia will arrest everyone attempting to enter the new country which will have bitcoin as a currency which have no ATM no resident and only 1 abandoned house. seems promising to build a nation in s disputed land  Undecided
1794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A few question about the Native Americans who moved to Russia? on: November 13, 2016, 04:48:08 PM
you have no idea about the real Americans (aka the Indians?) lol... what do they teach in school nowadays Huh

I have an idea but I didn't get what you want to say between your words? More precisions maybe? Am I the only one who didn't fully understood this?
Btw school will not teach you everything and maybe the chapters may contain a few mistakes  Tongue

EDIT: ok it is clear now
1795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A few question about the Native Americans who moved to Russia? on: November 12, 2016, 11:26:38 PM
after all, most native Americans tribes were nomads... so did they find the great spirit again? were they able to reconnect with the land? Did they ditch the foreign language for their mothers tongue? are they happy? some arts produced?

So did the Europeans migrants find the great spirit in the American continent? were they able to reconnect with the land?...etc
Didn't understand what you intend to say? More precision maybe?

Maybe Bernie will pardon here? or maybe the guys that said they will leave the united states when Trump will win? or maybe she will pardon herself?

So again: i'd like a banned tag on perma banned scumbags AND a banned tag (possibly in the trust section) of temp banned "mates"...it would be a part of your forum history...you would have to deal with it...
~Gun

Yes for tagging a perma banned member but definitely not for tagging the temp banned one.
Temp ban could be for a reason that have nothing to do with scamming others or +/- harming the community.
A guy temp banned for bumping his topic several times in 1 day or posting in a self-dictatorship (moderated) thread where the OP asked him several times to leave shouldn't be considered as a risk in my opinion and thus tagging him as temp banned will ruin his reputation even if he never made a trade!

You talk like it's a thing of the past... The price is still tanking as predicted. And will continue to do so for the forseeable future.

I thought you were all so sure bitcoin could only go up up up with Trump being the winner. LOL

oO since when kwukduck say something optimistic about the bitcoin price  Roll Eyes
Back to the main subject, there is always a loss risk when trading bitcoin, personally I am happy that the rise happened before I sell my coins  Smiley
1799  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-09] Bitcoin Price Rises Sharply As Trump Wins The Election on: November 09, 2016, 07:35:48 PM
Yeah, I think crypto was really just showing that spike because of the USD more than anything else... a bit rich to say bitcoin had anything to lose or gain from whomever became POTUS.

But it will depends on the policy that he will adopts...
I tend to agree with thoses saying bitcoin latest movement is related with the markets reaction which is related with the election
So let's say that the election has a side effect on bitcoin
