1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers - 2nd round (Let's discuss) on: April 30, 2022, 02:07:05 AM
~
Who's gonna win the series, and why?

This is indeed a tough series to follow. Heat and 76ers have good composition even their previous matches this year were tied 1-1. But I think this is a Heat win. I don't really see huge impact of Harden being on the team as the Heat have Adebayo and Butler on their roster (which are great players that can be compared to harden). I just hope that the Heats gameplay in their future matches would be great as well and not choke midgame. 76ers, on the other hand, still has the capability to win this if they manage to just outplay the heat.

In terms of impact, we can't compare Sixers' James Harden to Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler because they each have different roles on the team. James Harden is the playmaker of the Sixers while on the other hand, Bam Adebayo is a paint specialist in the shaded area while Jimmy Butler's task is to find a good spot around the perimeter and 3-point area so his teammates, especially their point guard, can setup up a play for him. This is the first time I saw someone comparing the greatness of James Harden to Adebayo or Butler which should not be a question as they all are greats in their respective roles.

I'm not sure why you consider James Harden doesn't have any impact on the Philadelphia Sixers where in fact, he's only the one that fits to become a lethal point guard on that team. In Game 6, he established 15 assists knowing he's a ball hog and likes to play isolation.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 30, 2022, 01:50:16 AM
A close Game 6 by Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards finished with an impressive 16 points in just 1st Quarter. The Grizzlies' Ja Morant is score less in the 1st Quarter which is not his usual but his teammates are stepping up.

The second quarter just started. I really like to watch this kind of close game where the result can't just be easily predicted.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 29, 2022, 11:56:45 PM
So far after the Mayweather fight no one comes close to beating him,

GGG is the only boxer who put Canelo on his limits after the latter's fight with Floyd Mayweather. Even though GGG is much ahead of their age and Canelo is in his prime, their fight is a close one and both of them have equal strength. That's why it needs a trilogy to end its journey.

Who knows Bivol might also put Canelo on his limits even the majority thinks that he is a heavy underdog.

What I will just refer to about Bivol is, that he won't just allow himself to be dominated by Canelo. He is also a champion and has no defeats up to date.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 29, 2022, 11:45:40 PM
It's definitely an edge for a newly opened casino to partner with a good and reliable bounty manager as it will make the whole promotion for casino very interesting and impressive especially for those players who are looking for new spots to hang with. As long as the owner of the casino does not aim for dishonesty in the future that will take advantage on the players part, then i think bounty manager will stay by his side and will always aim for the success of the casino.

I think "partnership" is not the appropriate idea instead, hiring the service of a reputable manager to advertise the gambling site. That alone is the only job of the campaign manager and not to the point it will follow the partnership terms of the gambling site as these owners might take advantage of the popularity of the gambling site.

In conclusion, since those new gambling sites hire some managers and are willing to spend money on marketing, we can assume they are really serious about promoting their site. We should be just aware and vigilant before using these sites as campaign managers don't have a way to detect if these new sites will be turned dishonest someday.

That's beyond the manager's control.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 29, 2022, 11:34:09 PM
Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.

Just go with the flow. It doesn't mean that people are not concerned with those horses.

On the other side, didn't you know that these horses are treated too much and lots of money was being spent just to make them fit and always at 100% healthy status? It's good for me that those badly injured horses are properly killed rather than suffered for long. As you said, bad injuries, but for minor ones, that shouldn't be the practice.

The question is, what is really the point of this topic? Do you want a total ban on horse racing?
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 28, 2022, 04:30:39 PM
Donaire should continue to work harder, if he have train hard in his previous fight, he has to double it as Inoue as a monster is a different animal.

It's good that Donaire fought other boxers previously before having a rematch with Naoya Inoue. In that way, he can test if he can still be as conditioned as he should be whenever he is fighting. No choice but to train wise and hard as Inoue is on a different level compared to his previous fights.

Still, an impressive TKO in both of his previous fights was established by Donaire defying the laws of age. He just needs to maintain that good condition as even how good Inoue is, there's always a thing called a turning point that can change the expected result of the fight.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 28, 2022, 04:23:56 PM
I like to bring it here since we have to specific thread for this.

What do you think about this latest news of KAI SOTTO?

Kai Sotto declares for 2022 NBA Draft

Does he have a chance to be drafted? if there is, how big and on what team?

Although he's a Filipino, I think talking about him here is off-topic because he's not even affiliated with the PBA, unlike those players who played in other countries as they are former PBA players or talking about Gilas players. Not saying we should not discuss it here but maybe a few exchanges of statements will be fine.

There's also no definite answer to your question about what possible team will draft him as that was only predictable at those teams that will select first. Yes, there's a chance that he might be listed but I'm not expecting knowing the competition in the NBA and the fact that tall guys aren't a special asset now compare to before.

I wish him luck and hope he will achieve his dream of playing in the NBA.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 28, 2022, 04:11:56 PM
If I would act now, I would rather take the Bucks because IMO they are undervalued. They don't have Middleton but look how they dominated the Bulls, so I think they deserve to have at least 5.00 odds, but who am I to complain, I'll just probably take it.  Smiley

Referring to how Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Chicago Bulls is not enough. The topic is about NBA Champion and the first round of the playoffs for the Bucks just got ended. There are still 2 teams to defeat before entering the Finals. The next round for them is a tough challenge as they will face the Boston Celtics which just came from sweeping another favorite, the Brooklyn Nets.

But regardless of what team they will face, if you really believed that Milwaukee Bucks will win the title this year, just place your bet without hesitation.

If you act now, it's not 5.00 odds but more of it based on the currently provided odds.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 28, 2022, 03:59:13 PM
I was truly surprised and amazed by how the Boston Celtics defeated the Brooklyn Nets without giving a chance for this team to win even once. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown really improved and the Celtics are a hard team to beat if these two find their rhythm and momentum.

But still, I'm siding with the Milwaukee Bucks here even without Khris Middleton. Giannis and the Bucks are evolving year by year ever since his team was always eliminated from the playoffs before. I'm sure they can handle the Boston Celtics even let's say both Tatum and J. Brown will explode.

The decision on where to bet should come from the bettor's point of view and not from others.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 28, 2022, 03:43:50 PM
There are people who will find it arrogant, but in the eyes of his fans and followers, he really does have that strength as he's on his prime now.

Actually, the statement is not being arrogant and I'm sure people won't treat it that way because Canelo Alvarez is just stating the fact.

Canelo's statement is backed up by valid and strong proof that even those who don't like him will accept it.

Different from other arrogant boxers whose mouth is just full of talks and can't prove it to the ring like for example, Caleb Plant who trash talk Canelo, Keith Thurman who toyed with Manny Pacquiao, and many others.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 03:32:34 PM
Their two good players next to Jokic are injured and Denver Nuggets didnt do anything to replace them.

Don't tell me, you mean trading those players? Is that how a team should treat their main starters?

Just replace them without hesitation because they are injured lol.

We are not talking about these 2 players always being injured but give them time to recover. Denver Nuggets already know they have handicapped these playoffs and for sure, they want to come back stronger next season with a complete and healthy lineup.

It's a different scenario where a team wasn't really able to use that player/s for long because of injury.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: April 27, 2022, 11:29:21 PM
Is it possible that dogecoin can beat BTC after Elon musk takes over Twitter? Imagine if Dogecoin is well accepted throughout the world then BTC wouldn't this makes Dogecoin the new coin? This might sound too crazy to dream about but that Elon musk guy can make anything possible.

Elon Musk can make anything possible? Is that how you looked at him?

There will be no change even if Elon takes over Twitter ownership. It's just a change of ownership and nothing else. He already used Twitter to pump Doge before and that will be just a part of the history. The price of Doge might be hyped because traders want that but it doesn't mean it will end to the point that it will become a new BTC.

It's crazy to think that it will happen just because of the scenarios you have mentioned.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 27, 2022, 11:15:20 PM
Is the article updated or outdated?

I went through the latest articles from 2020 in its category and didn't find the article. Maybe the articles were posted in 2017 but I don't bother to check the list for 2017 as it's time-consuming.

Maybe there was a change now in the stats since the pandemic happened 3 years later when that article was posted and gambling activities around the world becomes a trendy thing during the pandemic lockdown.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: April 27, 2022, 10:59:59 PM
Instead of reading the analysis before deciding, come on, OP just place your bet regardless of the outcome.

While the series match is about to end this 1st round of the playoffs, expect a much lower odds while the Golden State Warriors continue to move forward since once a team is being eliminated, the list will remove those names at those losing teams obviously.

OP started this thread @51, yesterday, @41, and if the Warriors will end the series later, I think it will go down Klay's odds will be lowered @30 as some guys in the Denver Nuggets will be removed at NBA Finals MVP bet. Take note also that Chicago Bulls might be exiting later on resulting for their players to also be removed in the MVP choices.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 27, 2022, 10:48:35 PM
I wonder if Alaska will join right away on this upcoming All-Filipino Cup considering the new team owner, can't see any news about this but hopefully they will join with a new players on their line up, this can be a good opportunity for them.

Alaska, which is now Converge FiberXers, will play this upcoming conference. They get the draft rights from Alaska and as posted by @harizen, they are the 3rd team to pick their rookie in the upcoming PBA Drafts. What's not clear to me is, if those Alaska players will be retained or will be included in the special draft.

If I'm not mistaken, not all Alaska players will be absorbed into the new Converge.

That's the update we need to wait for.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WARRIORS VS NUGGETS GAME 5 on: April 27, 2022, 10:38:14 PM
Just want to let you guys know that Iggy will be out in game 5. It's minor setback for the Warriors but his absence could still have impact in the game. I would probably avoid double digit handicap. Lines for GSW -7.5 and -6.5 are good unless you want to be more greedy. Better be closer to "sure win" than sorry hehe.

Sorry but I have to disagree with you and can't include that on my analysis. Iggy is only playing at limited minutes and he isn't really having an impact on their games. He is giving his minutes to his teammates instead as for him, he is not that productive anymore at both offense and defense.

More on he is just there as a pure backup. Also acting as an advisor to their young players like Draymond Green is doing.

If let's say the Golden State Warriors can't cover the -8.5, -7.5, or -6.5, that's not because of Iggy's absence but the Nuggets just played good to close the score til the end.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 27, 2022, 10:23:57 PM
Mark Magsayo was faced right away by a good challenger. Rey Vargas almost dominates the Bantamweight but I wonder why he didn't cross the line to face the other good boxers in their weight class like Naoya Inoue. Maybe Vargas thinks it's time now to test his strength in the Featherweight and the task is to snatch the WBC title from Mark Magsayo.

Magsayo's previous fight against the handicapped Russell might not be a convincing win because of the latter's shoulder injury but we can't really say that if the latter is not injured, Magsayon won't adjust.

This is going to be a great title match.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WARRIORS VS NUGGETS GAME 5 on: April 27, 2022, 10:05:21 PM
I'm thinking of betting on the home team as I believe (not 100% -convince me...) they will finish the series and will win by double-digit.
Curry, Poole, and Thompson, if they would score at least 20 points each, I think the series is over, but of course, I have a little worry, what if they will not cover the spread?

What's the right call here, should I go with the spread or will just pass this game?

+8.5 for Denver Nuggets is nothing for me. Golden State Warriors can surely cover that. No need really much analysis on that game in terms of covering the spread since the only thing you can rely on is the result of Games 1 and 2 and how the Nuggets are struggling to close the score with the Warriors.

This is a Do-Or-Die for the Nuggets but they already gave their best. Ask for me, Warriors can cover the 8.5

And besides, it's gambling after all that's why we can't really help you to decide. If you think Golden State Warriors can cover it,  just place your bet and hope for the best. If lose, then better luck next time.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 26, 2022, 11:48:17 PM
Low scoring game for the Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks Game 5.

They just finished the 1Q with only 22-21 score Hawks. All key players of both teams are still silent up to this point. Thinking of placing a live bet at Under 199.5 but sometimes, both teams will unleash their intensity of plays in the later quarter.

I will observe first before placing a bet.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: April 26, 2022, 11:19:07 PM
So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.

The question is, is it worth taking it?

Just follow what you believed will happen. No suggestions, analysis, or advice can really help you decide even with the help of an NBA professional analyst.

You will only know the worth of your risks if it will happen.

We are just about to see the second round of the playoffs. Lots of things can still happen. We don't even know if the Golden State Warriors can reach the Finals even if they are about to dominate the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.
