1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 02, 2020, 02:11:54 AM
I kinda understand how Lakers could lose the game, they probably do not feel like playing, I understand that Kobe would have wanted them to play hard and win on his behalf but Lakers know the fact that they are a better team than Blazers any day of the week and could easily sweep them on playoffs as well, so it wouldn't be really hard for them yet they were feeling horrible, check out the before game ceremony and how many active players on the roster was crying, you can't just switch from crying to fighting, that is not something so easy.

As long as they win the cup this year and tribute it to Kobe, I would be super happy, Lakers getting another ring just at the year Kobe died would be really all Kobe would have wanted, he was always a champion and would want that to continue after his death.

A loss is a loss though.

They can just take it back. There will always be a next game and game after that. They could always take back what they lost in this game. I think I would also not be in the mood of playing just after paying a tribute to him, they lost by 8 so I think it is really kind of a tribute game for him.
1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Blind Person Access Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2020, 12:41:04 AM
This is true. I guess if the market of bitcoin is significantly huge that it can include blind people, then that would be the dream. But as of now, I am clueless if such implementation will happen anytime soon or if anything exists currently.

Maybe they can just let someone to support or help them.

Someone they could trust their life to, though obviously there will be those disadvantages there. I also though of having a voice enabled wallet or an software dedicted to them but this is also business so with a low percentage of blind people using Bitcoin means low sales on that program or software so that will be a no go.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Blind Person Access Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2020, 01:53:09 PM
That would be hard.

We all know that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not tangible so it would be really hard for them. I think there is a way for them to acess and use a Bitcoin wallet but for now I have no idea. This is the first time I've thought about this.
1784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: February 01, 2020, 12:55:14 PM
one of my usual jobs is trading the btc / usdt pair, when the bitcoin price goes up of course I will take profits, if the bitcoin price goes down I will keep buying, so I will always increase the amount of bitcoins , because I'm sure the future of their prices will be very high, now just hold as much as possible

This still depends on how much you have.

Unlike you, there are a lot of peope here that can't afford to invest that much. If you can't afford investing a lot then better trade to other cryptocurrencies too not only on Bitcoin. If you have the chance you can just trade that crypto back into Bitcoin.
1785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: February 01, 2020, 11:21:17 AM
in fact having risk management is important because without thinking about risk and only thinking about profits, I think it's a mistake. some techniques already exist about risk management, only the application is still not able to be done by all traders, maybe because it is carried by the flow of profits, we forget the existing risk.

To some, doing risk management is the same as breathing.

They already know what's up so they focus on what they can and what they can't do. With the market that we have, I doubt that we can be successful without it. Also, we have our own risk management, we don't know it just yet. When we are doubting a certain investment so we make small investments for a start.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2020, 09:06:10 AM
This is true that most of bitcoin mining farms are located in China but I don't think they are in any way controlling the bitcoin. Though Chinese government statements have huge influence on bitcoin price. As we saw last year Chinese president statement on blockchain spark the biggest bull run of 2019.

I have similar thoughts, but recently I've came up with the idea of what if most of mining farms AND most of btc whales are located in China?
If its true then China is really close to be in charge of most btc's price changes

It might be, we don't know.

China had a lot of miners and we don't what is happening behind it. All we know is that no one can control the price or Bitcoin itself. It can be manipulated by these whales but it can't be controlled, people are talking about it but these two words are different.
1787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real education are not taught at school!! on: February 01, 2020, 07:27:56 AM
I agree but not all of the time.

There are a lot of ways to jutt go straight to earning money but there are those careers that needed or require diplomas. It might not be like it but the schools are preparing their students for their future. Still, we have our own point of views, you have yours, I have mine.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 01, 2020, 05:49:36 AM
Quote
What do you think would you buy a ticket?

Running costs make this a fairly awful idea, just the cost of renting storage space and insurance is going to be thousands as a cost as soon as the winner takes pocession.       Its fine for anyone prepared but for everyone else half the stated worth because the winner immediately is in a fire sale or insolvent position of high asset low liquidity to service costs.     You need to be a company to pull this off, it'd all work if the winner immediately can enter into some kind of lease agreement with an airline.   Its not impossible but most people arent this organised.

There will be no maintenance cost if you sell the plane immediately after winning it. But again you will not find many buyers for the place and the only potential buyer could be the private airline companies etc. Ordinary person could not afford to buy such an expensive plane with no use case.

Are you even reading the article?

It is said there that the government will be giving 1 year maintenance for the presidential plane so whether you use it or not, it will be taken care of. You should also not talk about this in advance since you are not sure if you are winning and the government of Mexico is still thinking about the lottery.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 01, 2020, 05:08:49 AM
If the Lakers will win the championship this year, It will be the most emotional NBA finals ever in the league.

Bro, I am thinking the same.

Watching this game, I also thought of this myself. If Lakers win this season I would be so emotional, this whole season would be really a tribute to this legendary player. Though I still support my team, Milwaukee Bucks.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 01, 2020, 01:52:44 AM
I think they will not be able to control it.

I am playing a game in the past and there is this functionality in there. I am kind of addicted to it so when they approved of this functionality, I am so annoyed by it. What I did is created a lot of accounts so I can avoid being away to that game. If this will be the case into gambling sites, that will be harder to control and I think gamblers themselves should control themselves since it is their responsibility. People will just find a way to gamble since there will be a lot of sites out there that will not apply this so they can take advantage of the people that just want to gamble their money dai and day out.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it mean when a hash rate is down? on: February 01, 2020, 01:14:28 AM
The hash rate has risen sharply lately, which could be due to the new efficient miners in the large mining pools.
Another reason is China's support for mining.

China has the highest hashing power.

They do not support mining, they are leading with it. Also, its been years since China started leading the mining of cryptocurrencies, if its not just banned, they would continue but now it is now again legal. That might be the reason why price of Bitcoin is increasing, don't you think?
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So a bitcoin scam has been getting a lot of publicity in the Philippines lately on: February 01, 2020, 12:12:08 AM
By this statement possible the other people saw that was scared in crypto.

Obviously, they are terrified by it.

But here's the thing. There are a lot of scams going around the Philippines for a long time and most of the people are not aware of that. And after a long time, they would be forgetting about it and would fall for another scam. I think it is time for the government to take note of these incidents and they should educate the people about this. They should also focus on this since these scams can also affect the economy of the country for a long time.
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.1 BTC Puzzle by Phemex on: January 31, 2020, 02:04:42 PM
Edit : Been reading the discoveries of other members and I am really confused that they include number 9 and number 6 as a prime number. They are composite, not prime.

Lol  Grin 6 and 9 are digits Smiley But they were asked for prime number consisted from 21 digit! For example, number 269 is a prime number but includes digits 6 and 9 as well  Wink

Thanks for that explanation.

I already get it when I saw this site where the value of e is so many I spent my time looking for it. It is grouped so that is how I already get it. Keep on posting hints/tips though, thank you.
1794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2020, 01:53:32 PM
For now, i'm holding my bitcoin.  because according to several sources and signals.. bitcoin is believed to be experiencing an upward trend in prices, as happened in previous years..  and of course, i don't want to lose that moment.

You don't need to base that on your "sources" or "signals".

By just looking at the price charts, you can see that it is happening. We don't know if the history will repeat itself since the last year, we've been also waiting for that to happen but it did not happen. The best thing we can do now is to wait, as our elderlies always say, being patient is a virtue.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: January 31, 2020, 12:32:44 PM
As long as it has its value, it will continue to be listed in an exchange.

Some may be dead, some are close to being dead but as long as it has its values, it will continue to be listed. You can even see dead coins in there, just ignore them and let that be a memory that instills there, it would just remind you that no matter how expensive it is in the past, it is now dead and that will be the same for all of the cryptocurrencies.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble in a league with serious allegations of collusion? on: January 31, 2020, 11:51:24 AM
There are a lot of rumors in the past about bad things in every team, every time I heard it it is so annoying up to the point that it doesn't matter to me anymore.

All I want to do is just bet on that team no matter what. There might be a player that is hated by the people, or a scandal happened, what matters is that that team is the team I support and no matter what, I will bet on them. The money is not affecting them nonetheless so I think it doesn't matter at all whether I bet or not on them.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: January 31, 2020, 11:18:44 AM
Retirement of Jerax.

I don't really know the reason but there are a lot of blogs and articles going around like he just forgets his account so he decided to quit and others like he has no inspiration to continue playing.

Whatever is the reason though, I am still with him.

Transition of Ceb from offlane to coach.

He is an amazing coach.

It is disappointing to see the main OG cast broke but this one, I don't really doubt his skills and I think he is really a great player and a coach. I also heard that he is coaching OG's CSGO team so I think he had a lot of teams to hold on to.

Sumail and Saksa as replacement.

That is Ceb and NoTail's idea, I don't really doubt their decisions.

All of the people that NoTail put his trust into became great in the game. I don't know why Fly doubted him but just look at him now. His talent to see the skill of the players is amazing. I think he is building something since this team and his new teamates are already superstars. I don't know what will happen although I know that NoTail will be enjoying this new composition.

We've got the upcoming ESL One Los Angeles. There's so much update to the game now of Dota 2 and I think the next major/minor is the best time to bet.

I didn't like the update ever since they added the item drops to neutrals and the outposts but this update where they removed the shrines is I think a bit of a good thing?

Players are not really minding the outposts that much unlike the last update. Drops are getting better while the game lasts and I think that is amazing since also, they made the drops fair. I am just a casual player so this is just a small view of what a pro player can say to what change happened this update. I already updated my game and might be addicted again. Gotta familiarizes to changes since TI is closing so grinding for the Compendium levels in that time is important.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus and The Effect on The Markets on: January 31, 2020, 10:51:42 AM

The Corona virus is spreading and is visible in the financial markets as well as in Bitcoin : https://youtu.be/DZ7Ps70of4I
Are you possible saying that the BITCOIN bulls are back and it is related to CORONA?
It is just a coincidence I think
I dont like to say this but if its the case then maybe we can use some ore viruses

It is a bit surprising but this is really a coincidence

If there will be an effect to the price of Bitcoin because of this, that would be really nothing since Bitcoin and this virus has no connection at all.
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: Question about inflation and debt. on: January 31, 2020, 07:59:07 AM
I also asked my teacher about this in the past.

She just smirked at me and asked me if I want to have another inflation, I'm confused. This could happen but the thing is that the money circulating in the country would increase and that would lead to inflation.
1800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.1 BTC Puzzle by Phemex on: January 31, 2020, 06:31:10 AM
I can try this one.

I will be trying the tip of the first member who posted here. Might win a 1.1 BTC but I think, and I know for sure that there will be someone who can answer this quickly.

Edit : Been reading the discoveries of other members and I am really confused that they include number 9 and number 6 as a prime number. They are composite, not prime.
