This thread has been dormant for quite some time, because no major ODI tournaments are ongoing. The last series that we had was more than a month back, when the Netherlands toured New Zealand for a series of 3 ODIs (NZ won the series 3-0). The next ODI series also involves Netherlands, as they are traveling to West Indies to take part in a 3-match series (starting by the end of this month). And next month we have Afghanistan touring Zimbabwe for a series of 3 matches and then Netherlands hosting England for a short ODI series.

What's going on with the IPL.. look at the margins for the last few matches. Yesterday also, Gujarat won with such a big margin (62 runs). Lucknow had heavyweights such as KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock, but still they failed to reach a three-digit total. Only Deepak Hooda managed to make a decent score for himself. For the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan was exceptional. He is back to his old form, and that is good news for his team. But at the same time, Hardik Pandya's poor form should be a concern for Gujarat.
Yes nobody thought that the match will end like this, honestly if you are following IPL from start then this match is very suspicious. LSK has scored perhaps the lowest total of IPL 2022 season. To be honest I don't think thinking about the previous performance of both teams is going to make any difference because in my opinion they have proved themselves so far in the Europa league and frankfurt has played certainly better in this Europa League.
It is really hard to predict which team is going to win but I have to say Frankfurt seems to be ahead of their opponent in terms of both preparation and also play style. as Frankfurt teams have a history and points to prove in the Europa league so they will surely try their best to win.
In theory I would also say that Frankfurt have a better chance of winning the final than Rangers. But Rangers also had a great season in the Europa League. They as a team are very solid and will certainly have a good game. So, even if in theory Frankfurt has better conditions to win, I think the victory will go to Rangers. the fact that these two teams were not even seen as a strong team before, so they managed to become the team that will compete in the final is certainly a surprise. Therefore, when these two surprise teams compete in the final, the final result I think will be a surprising result as well. The ICC on the other hand has been trying to fool the fans, by claiming otherwise. Recent opinion polls found overwhelming support from the fans regarding Olympic inclusion. But the businessmen who are in power at the ICC remain opposed to it, for obvious reasons. Now I don't think that IOC will give any special treatment to ICC, when they don't need to do the same with other sports bodies such as the FIFA, FIBA and the FIH. @Sithara007 is it even possible to have test cricket in the Olympics in a hypothetical scenario, because won’t it increase the length of the Olympics too much?. I really do not believe that the difference is that big. I would guess something like 2.00 to 2.80 odds would have been doing a lot more justice to it to be fair. However in both cases I would be in profit and I am fine with it, because I will be wagering on Real Madrid to win. Even though I agree that LFC is the better team of the two, I have to say Real came here by working real hard and they deserve a chance again as well. This isn't some low level team we are talking about, this is the Real Madrid that beat PSG that added so much including Messi, beat Chelsea last year's UCL winners and beat City that worths a billion dollars in roster. So if anyone thinks Real won't have any chance this time around, there is a surprise waiting them. I was expecting very similar odds for both so I’m kinda surprised to see Real Madrid get such higher odds, because they’re not a weak team and this will be a very tough fixture for both the sides. It was a very exciting English Premier league weekend today, and everyone can attest to that. Here are some of my best game : Chelsea vs Wolves was a very exciting game, nobody saw Chelsea playing a draw in that match but some careless actions from most of Chelsea led to Wolves coming back from 2-0 down. Manchester united on the other hand had a rough time out with them loosing by 4 goals-0 even with Christian Ronaldo on the pitch.
Brighton is a very good team. They had a rough start at the beginning of the league but they have started to improve this situation in the last few months. Their players are also of good quality, for example Man U should get a player like Yves Bissouma. Manchester United need a radical change, they cannot continue like this, first of all, the polarization environment within the team must be ended and quality transfers must be made. I don't think Ronaldo and Pogba and maybe De Gea will stay in the team any longer after this picture. They did Maguire the biggest favor by making Maguire not in the first 11. He was the only scapegoat for so long that some people needed to see that he wasn't the only one with the United defence. On the other hand, it is certain that this will be the season United have finished with the fewest points.
I can’t believe what I saw yesterday and now Manchester United need to sell the entire playing 11, because this was one of the most disgraceful performance I have ever seen by them, and I think they should sack Rangnick too as no one really knows what’s he done so far except making big talks. Anyone considering betting on ATM against Real Madrid? I know that Real have been amazing in UCL and in the league this year, they have been playing with that winner mentality and never giving up and that is why it looks like they will win any game.
However, they are tired after such a game, and they should rest for a while to relax and maybe drop the fatigue and lower the injury risk a bit, so maybe they won't play all of their players in this game. Plus, the ones who did play in the UCL semi-finals, would probably not be 100% rested so they may end up not playing all that well neither. Who knows what will happen but I feel like ATM has a good chance.
