Grrr. So someone needs to mine the next 900 blocks for the difficulty to decrease again?

ok, just cancelled my hash rental, mined 1000 coins for .0045 btc  Wink

not a lot, but I still have 25 MH running on my old trusty GPU mining rigs... and the price of this coin better come up or will hard for those who dropped big bux on rentals. I have lost on the previous 3 coins on rentals. (well still waiting for the price to come up to cover cost)

LOL! Mine was worse. Like 1150 coins for 0.009 btc. The worse was when the block were found fast in like 30 seconds and I got no credit them. Only got credit for the 500% long block orders.
17844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [16BIT COIN] [LAUNCHED] [ALGO - NIST5 -] [16M COINS] [IN-WALLET GAMES] on: May 11, 2015, 12:37:28 AM
I just took the plunge and just bought the coins directly from the exchange. Renting this algorithm is a pain.

There is very little hashrate to rent that every 5 minutes someone outbids you.

On very fast blocks with luck 10% or so you don't get any credit because there isn't enough time to submit any of the large shares from the rented rigs. With 2Gh/s my diff from the pool was like 10 or so. So chances of getting a single share from all the rented rigs is slim.

Good luck to all who are renting the hashrate.

Is the coin forked? Looks like its disabled on SupraNova ?

NM. Seems fixed now!

So the dev gets 45 BTC for this coin? Thats over $10,000.

Man I really need to learn programming and start making coins and graphic design. That's where the real money is at these days.

Really wish less people bought into the ICO, would of made the share value higher. Currently each share is only 36363 coins.

Wondering if its better to buy ICO or rent rigs....
17848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asic or GPU or CPU or HDD on: May 09, 2015, 09:35:20 AM
Sadly GPU/CPU mining is dead for most.  Even if making a small profit you will not pay for equipment used during it.   Most lose money doing it.  And a laptop is horrible for high intensity.

Look into asics they really are only option currently.
As I see it Gpu mining actually seems like a more or less safe bet if you have decent electric prices, now this may not seem the normal idea but if we look here
https://www.whattomine.com/coins?utf8=%E2%9C%93&scryptf=true&factor%5Bscrypt_hash_rate%5D=1000.0&factor%5Bscrypt_power%5D=380.0&scrypt_nf=true&factor%5Bscrypt_n_hr%5D=450.0&factor%5Bscrypt_n_p%5D=330.6&cha15f=true&factor%5Bcha15_hr%5D=3.0&factor%5Bcha15_p%5D=228.0&cha16f=true&factor%5Bcha16_hr%5D=400.0&factor%5Bcha16_p%5D=228.0&x11f=true&factor%5Bx11_hr%5D=5600.0&factor%5Bx11_p%5D=266.0&x13f=true&factor%5Bx13_hr%5D=4000.0&factor%5Bx13_p%5D=266.0&cn=true&factor%5Bcn_hr%5D=640.0&factor%5Bcn_p%5D=304.0&ns=true&factor%5Bns_hr%5D=410.0&factor%5Bns_p%5D=228.0&adapt=true&factor%5Bcost%5D=0.06&commit=Calculate&sort=Profitability24&volume=&revenue=24h&keccakf=true&factor%5Bkeccak_hr%5D=480.0&factor%5Bkeccak_p%5D=304.0&grof=true&factor%5Bgro_hr%5D=15.0&factor%5Bgro_p%5D=228.0&wx=true&factor%5Bwx_hr%5D=130.0&factor%5Bwx_p%5D=228.0&lre=true&factor%5Blre_hr%5D=1150.0&factor%5Blre_p%5D=228.0

You can see that one coin is currently giving a profit off .65$ a day per 280x, a 280x ( or 7970) cost around 100$ right now, you will need the rest of the hardware but it is relatively cheap (~200$) and gpus can be stacked to 4-5 a motherboard fairly easy. Now lets look say you have a rig with 5 gpus this would set you back 700$ (if you didn't get a deal on mobo ram, cpu and hdd) @.06$ kwh it will take you 161 days to roi, now that sounds pretty close to S5 roi.

Lets look at s5 roi, lets say you can snag one for 400$ shipped and if difficulty stay the same and at the same power rate were looking at 197 days for break even. So heres the thing, one is mining altcoins and trading them and one is mining bitcoin.

Advantages of GPU Mining
Any Algo
Higher Resale
More opportunity to resale
easier to upgrade components

Advantages of Asic mining
Directly mines Bitcoin
Can solo mine for lottery
Simple to set up
Possibly longer component life span

The best option would be to buy a used ASIC like an S3 for less than $100. It will make money faster then with GPUs and its cheaper. The S5 is way overpriced. And its very difficult to buy an 280x for only $100, they are more like $150.

The HD mining is not a very good idea with a coin thats only worth 100 sats.

Primedice regardless, obviously. Not hard.

Yes this is exactly what happened when online gaming was huge back in 2000's. It started getting banned because many large websites couldn't afford to pay the huge licensing fees and keep up with regulation. In the near future there will be more and more regulations towards online bitcoin mining.

Good luck selling those dinosaurs

Thank you. I already sold most of them.

Not to members on here.

I am confidant that anyone buying my Bitcoin miners have visited this forum. What you say is certainly possible, but highly unlikely.

I believe the people who purchased my miners may have limited money to spend, want to experiment, participate in the Bitcoin mining ecosystem, and/or are simply investing a small amount on the chance of Bitcoin price exponentially rising over time, like it did previously.

Of course these are not the absolute best deal per GH out there, but not everyone can afford to spend hundreds to thousands on bleeding-edge mining hardware. If they only got $110 to spend and can't find mining hardware for $110 that is better than 120GH/s, then this auction is a good deal for them. I firmly believe that in a few years, the value of the BTC mined with these will be worth more than the purchase price and electricity used. Then there are those who don't pay for their electricity or run them at work. There are markets for everything and everyone.

I am sorry these are not for you, but thank you for sharing your opinions.

The problem with selling on eBay however is that once they received these miners and find out the hard way how little money they make, they will most likely want a refund and say its broken.

Due to new eBay policies, you will have to pay to ship the miners to them and you will have to pay for them to ship the miners back to you.

The buyer will get a full refund and his cost was $0.00 you however will get your miner back and have wasted money on shipping it roundtrip, which could cost almost $100.

It happened to many people on Bitcointalk, that's why nobody sells miners on eBay and just sell them here because there are no refunds here.

I have a feeling that the OP also is using many fake accounts posting as fake buyers here.

I find it odd that they would Copy and Paste the exact title, and I find it odd how each post says "please"

Most likely in the next few days these "fake" accounts will post that they received their item to give others some comfort.

But why???  Grin
BitCoinNutJob, I'll take also all 17 x Zeusminer Lightning X6 - 36MH.

Not sure about this one however, if he actually paid 0.2 BTC I feel bad but if this account is also "hacked" he might lie and say he received his PSU when infact its the OP account.

Purchased PSU RM750 from OP. (without escrow)

Sent payment.

Lets make a trusted community.

17854  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) 30+ GPUs (280x, 290 and 290x) on: May 08, 2015, 12:52:05 AM
If you don't have success here just sell it locally on Craigslist or Kijiji. I had the most luck there. Many people bought them for gaming, encoding, graphic rendering, mining, etc. They all sold pretty fast and I got top dollar. You can also combine them with the PSU because many who buy the GPU, need a better PSU to use it.

17855  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Journey: Can I Win Gambling? on: May 08, 2015, 12:49:22 AM
This thread is so full of delusions its sad.

At any decent gambling forum OP would be instantly considered just a troll, but here, he is actually serious.

Here is a tip : forget that gambling exists, unless you are enjoying losing money and time.

Exactly. you should only considering doing it out of boredom. Don't gamble to pay your mortgage or as your day job. Only 0.01% or so of gamblers are sucessful and do it for a living and thats usually playing poker in real life, not online.

from OP:

'Max PoW Coins: ~2,520,000 TKT
PoS Starts on Block 10080, about 7 days of PoW mining''

until now were created 2,730,100 TKT - at first day !?

Are those coins valid though or invalid? Because it looks like many pools have solved the 25,000 blocks but later on they don't mature.

No idea what is the true supply.
17857  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S2 Underclock on: May 08, 2015, 12:10:37 AM
My understanding is that the S2 is fairly close to the maximum efficiency of the BM1380 ASIC.  Most likely there is not much more to be gained by underclocking.

1 watt per GH is about the best this chip can do.  Maybe .9 watt with some intensive tweaking of the voltages.  Would be very tedious for and S2.

The voltage's can't be altered however. THere is no option in the settings.

anonymous    43 lucky blocks    1,075,000

he already have a shitload =) 1M to dump on ur face ^^

you should look into shares not blocks.

with 15 gh , i think he is grabbing near 24000 per blocks =)

18k because another guy hashing with 5 gh

Well the coin is currently valued only at 100 sats.

With the average diff of 50 and block reward of 250, it only makes 0.10BTC/GH/Day and the rental for X11 is 0.30BTC/GH/Day.

So somebody who got the lucky block earlier had to dump a huge load and ruined the price for everybody.

I guess this coin is dead now since the code is messed up.

https://tkt.minerpools.com/index.php keeps finding a "lucky" block every few blocks or so.

Too many coins out there now. Waste of time mining this. Wish dev tested this code before launching this coin.

Not sure what you mean, thats exactly how it is supposed to be, https://tktlto.suprnova.cc works exactly the same way, if everyone is just mining on the lottery pools, the found blocks are all "lucky"...

Didn't know it worked this way. I was mining on the "non-lottery" pool and then checked the other pools and they were making 100x as I was making 1x.

This coins value will be like 1 satoshi since the 15Gh/s miner is making 444,542,818 coins per day.
NO, read the OP. I am pretty sure those estimate numbers are inflate by the X100 and 1/50th odds. 15Gh is not getting that many coins or even close.

Huh ??!

I've even posted on the TKT-LOT and TKT-NONLOT Pools in red in the header how it works.

There is a non-lottery pool where you get 250 coins for every block. Blocks are found on a regular basis (ideally when the done percentage says 100%) and there is the lottery pool where you get 250.000 coins per block BUT there is a 1:50 chance that the coin finds a block, so a block is not found ideally at 100%, its found somewhere between 0 and 50000%  ...  (the coin's code decides by "throwing a dice" if the blocks get accepted or not.)

It's like a lottery.. Thats what the coin is all about Smiley

Thats why there are two separate pools for it.. tkt.suprnova.cc and tktlto.suprnova.cc .. and thats why there are two separate categories for pools in the OP Smiley

So it finds the blocks but they blocks never mature? How can you tell if they matured correctly or not?

I dont think thats true.... The blocks register as 25k one the pool but are only worth 1. It's the Block finder which has the real number of blocks found... Its just how supernova has set it up

Oh, didnt know that. I apologise and retract my original statement. I kept checking the "block" logs and it was saying 25,000 value every few minutes or so.
