17921  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: September 27, 2017, 01:29:17 AM
Very little counties like Luxemburg or San Marino or Andorra tend to be peaceful because they don't have an army big enough to threaten anybody.

Countries such as Andorra and San Marino are peaceful because they are located far away from the major urban centers. Most of the population is living in small towns and villages, where there are very few foreign immigrants. The crime rate is low and the education levels are quite high. Having a homogeneous population also helps a lot.
17922  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: September 27, 2017, 01:26:50 AM
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

I believe in the rule before " an eye for an eye. a tooth for a tooth". We are not God, but we people should make a move to have justice for those who have been abused and oppressed.

Do you think that only god has the power to punish the criminals? Then what about the judiciary and the cops? If you don't want the judiciary to punish the criminals, then what is the point in spending billions of USD every year on the maintenance and salary on courts? IMO, religion is not a factor here and it should stay out. The judges will decide whether someone deserve the death sentence or not.
17923  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all of the religious people are bad ? on: September 27, 2017, 01:23:14 AM
not all people who serve god is bad. but it depend to people who acted evil doing in their life religion never committed to do bad things and evil things as are already encrypted in the mind and souls of a man.

In my place, recently a lot of Christian clerics were arrested for child sex abuse and pedophilia. And unsurprisingly most of them turned out to be from the Catholic church. And remember that Christians are less than 1% of the population here... These people claim to be serving the god. They are supposed to act like role models to the community. On the other hand, they are doing such evil things.
17924  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: September 27, 2017, 01:15:20 AM
i see some African eat human but for me it is animal work because animals only eat each others

Before the European expansion and colonialism, cannibalism was widespread around the world. Cannibalism was practiced even in the European continent, although the practice was ended by the spread of Christianity. But it was most wide-spread in South America, where it was more of a norm than an exception. But when the Portuguese and the Spaniards colonized the continent, these people were exterminated.
17925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: September 26, 2017, 06:56:49 AM
This is very ridiculous. Bitcoin deos not need China if they don't want bitcoin to be part of their economy. Just wait a couple of months and btc will rise again.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin can survive without China. But there will be a lot of impact. Very soon, China is going to overtake the United States as the largest economy in the globe. It will be better if Bitcoins are permitted there. If that doesn't happen, then it can negatively impact the exchange rates.
17926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if holding the bitcoin becomes illegal? on: September 26, 2017, 06:53:29 AM
First of all, it is very difficult to ban the possession of Bitcoin. Converting Bitcoin to fiat can be banned (with some difficulty), but it is not possible to ban the possession of Bitcoin. BTC is not a physical asset and it is near impossible to link any of the wallets to a particular individual.
17927  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 102 Hindus butchered by Rohingya terrorists in Rakhine on: September 26, 2017, 06:37:51 AM
The village where the army chief said the bodies were found, Ye Baw Kya, is near a cluster of Hindu and Muslim communities in northern Rakhine called Kha Maung Seik.

Check this:

http://www.thehindu.com/news/international/graves-of-28-hindus-found-in-rakhine-myanmar-army/article19750909.ece

Quote
Thousands of Hindus have fled villages where they once lived alongside Muslims, alleging that they were targeted by militants whose August 25 raids plunged Rakhine into communal violence. “Security members found and dug up 28 dead bodies of Hindus who were cruelly and violently killed by ARSA... in Rakhine State,” a statement posted on the Army chief’s website said.

If the Muslims are not attacking the Hindus, then can someone please explain me why the Hindus are living as refugees in Southern Rakhine?

17928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea accuses US of declaring war on: September 26, 2017, 06:28:35 AM
Its all fun and games until someone gets their countries blown up.  Seems like a lot of attention grabbing going on and not much more yet.

Let's hope that it will remain in the attention grabbing mode. Fat boy Kim needs this to control his people and Trump also want to improve his approval ratings back home. But all it takes is just a small provocation, either intentionally or unintentionally to start a nuclear war. The chances are low, but we can't ignore it.
17929  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: September 26, 2017, 03:55:12 AM
I don't agree in death penalty ,because we don't have the right to kill or to get someone lives only God has right to get ur lives .

What about people like me, who don't believe in your imaginary god? Or what about people who believe in evolution rather than creation? For my part, I don't think that god has the right to get our lives. Our lives are on our own hands. No one else has any right over it.
17930  Other / Politics & Society / Re: world war III : north korea VS USA on: September 26, 2017, 03:46:05 AM
I think CIA know more about NK more then Nk know about him self

CIA will never make other countries made super weapon

ROFL. North Korea has already produced the super-weapon (Hydrogen bomb) and there is nothing that your CIA can do about it. All they can do is to bully the smaller and weak nations such as Libya and Syria. Their tricks will never work against powerful nations such as North Korea and Iran. CIA is no longer the most powerful organization in the world.
The Hydrogen bomb is a game changer and i believe that the USA and its allies should have an anti missile shield programme to protect them from these things. South Korea and Japan are the ones most at risk here.

The problem with missile shield is that it is not 100% effective. A recent statement by an American official claimed that it is only around 40% effective, meaning that if the DPRK fires 10 nuclear missiles, then 6 of them will hit the target. The Russian S-400 is more accurate, but they are not going to sell these systems to the Americans.
17931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NFL Players Kneeling for the National Anthem? on: September 26, 2017, 03:43:58 AM
National anthem of any country should not be politicized. It must be respected by all the citizens. And the playing of national anthem is not an occasion to protest against racial inequality and police shootings. As far as I know, Francis Scott Key and John Stafford Smith did no harm to any black person.
17932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 102 Hindus butchered by Rohingya terrorists in Rakhine on: September 26, 2017, 03:41:49 AM
“The Rohingya militants have problems with the Myanmar Army as well as the common men who inhabit the Rakhine state. They are torturing and evicting Hindu Rohingyas from the land. Hindu families are brutally butchered and shot,” a Bangladeshi aid worker stated.

Hindus and Buddhists have been inhabiting Rakhine for many centuries. The Rohingya Muslims on the other hand, are very recent illegal immigrants from Chittagong. It is ironic that these recent immigrants are conducting a genocide of the original inhabitants of Rakhine.
17933  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 102 Hindus butchered by Rohingya terrorists in Rakhine on: September 26, 2017, 02:24:36 AM
I guess it is OK, if the victims are Hindus or Muslims. The human rights organizations only care if the victims are Muslims. Islamic nations such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia will go ballistic over the "brutal" treatment of the Muslims. But when innocent Hindus and Buddhists are getting murdered and raped, none of these organizations are bothered.
17934  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS and MARAWE same porpuse?to kill and spread. on: September 26, 2017, 02:19:51 AM
Yeah they're the same. The marawi rebels have openly projected their support for isis and their advocacy. Though these are muslims killing other muslims as well. Terrorists are beyond religion, reason and logic. They have a singleminded goal of sowing fear and terror through inhuman activities

The ISIS in Marawi may be killing Muslims. But they are not being killed because they are Muslims. That is the big difference which you are ignoring. On the other hand, the ISIS is selectively targeting Christians and other minorities for their killing. They are being forced to convert to Islam, and if they refuse they are being beheaded.
17935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: September 26, 2017, 02:16:17 AM
Some countries are more educated, more hardworking. Some have special assets like natural resources, strategic localization, ...

In general I would agree, although there are exceptions. For example, the education levels in Qatar, Brunei.etc is not very high. Yet they rank among the richest countries in the world. On the other hand, countries such as Cuba and Ukraine rank quite high in terms of education attainment. But the incidence of poverty in these nations is staggering.
17936  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: September 26, 2017, 02:14:54 AM
If there was a death penalty back when they were sending prisoners to Australia, we might not have had Australia as we know it now lol

There was death penalty back then. Who told you that there was no death penalty? The only thing is that those who committed crimes such as robbery and tax evasion were deported to Australia rather than executed by hanging. And even Australia had the death penalty, although it was disproportionally used against the indigenous population.

17938  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: September 26, 2017, 01:51:27 AM
The most beautiful disaster indeed! Because even though many drug addicts are getting killed it still change the mindset of every Filipino because other drug addicts are now afraid to buy drugs because they could be killed even to the drug dealers. And President Rodrigo Duterte are man of his words and he is now cleansing the Philippines from corrupt officials to corrupt minded.
In a war, there is always collateral damage in the process. It would have been even more dangerous if Drug Kingpins controlled the streets in the Philippines. More innocent civilians would have died. Take a look at what's happening at Chicago gangs are killing innocent civilians over turf.

I don't have a problem if the drug lords and the drug traffickers are getting killed. But too many innocent bystanders are being killed as well. Duterte needs to look in to this. The percentage of collateral casualties has been quite high. He needs to see how he can reduce this percentage. Innocent lives can't be allowed to be lost, no matter whatever be the reason.
17939  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea accuses US of declaring war on: September 26, 2017, 01:41:15 AM
I am tired of all this. If fat boy Kim and retarded Trump want war, then please go ahead and nuke each other. Let others have some peace of mind. They are making these sort of statements for the past 6 months and yet nothing has happened till now. I really think that Trump should rather look after his approval ratings, which are on a free fall.
17940  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your take on homosexuality? on: September 26, 2017, 01:38:38 AM
Most likely people are afraid of gays because they are the distributors of all kinds of infections and do not want to cure their homosexuality, but on the contrary make everyone consider them normal.

What you have said is a valid point. Take the new HIV infections in the United States as an example. More than 80% of the new cases are being diagnosed among the homosexuals and the bisexuals, who are less than 1% of the general population. That means that their incidence of infection is at least 400 times higher than the general population.
