Yes the difficulty is WAY TOO HIGH at the moment for mining. Not enough X11 rigs. Should of made it scrypt or SHA256

30 GH for only a few coins, better to buy it on the exchange then mine it.

Yes no idea why people are renting rigs when its magnitudes cheaper just to buy the coin directly.

Hit the Block (Player's Edge Betting)

Hi this is my first commercial betting program. It's so simple to play.
Let me know if you have suggestions to improve it.

Win 18x your bet:
Send any amount from 0.01 btc to 1 btc to:
12468ZjBthJYXDeFKZywXfJi9bCacQtiQB
You will win 18x your bet if the following conditions are met:
1. The block height of your transaction is an even number (ends with 0,2,4,6,8).
2. The last digit of the block hash is equal to the last digit of the transaction hash. (this happens 1 every 16 times)
Notes:
Only 1 bet per transaction.
If the bet is more than 1 btc, only 1 btc will be considered and the rest is donation.
If the bet is less than 0.01 btc, it is considered as donation.
If you win, you will get your prize using the first bitcoin address input (like satoshidice).
Prizes will be sent after 2 block confirmations.

Win 1.1x your bet:
Send any amount from 0.01 btc to 1 btc to:
13579cvHx6QukzwzYp6PuQvpwBgA4GFApc
You will win 1.1x your bet if the following conditions are met:
1. The block height of your transaction is an odd number (ends with 1,3,5,7,9).
2. The last digit of the block hash is not equal to the last digit of the transaction hash. (this happens 15 every 16 times)

If you have any problem, just comment and I will try to respond as soon as I can. I want to improve this depending on the reception of the players. You can test your wallet using the minimum bet to be sure that you will get your winnings. You can verify everything using any web based block chain explorer.

This is very bad and unprofessional. You should make a website and then do it. If you don't know web design then hire someone to do it. Because with your level of trust, nobody will want to invest any money there.
17944  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - The BETTING EXCHANGE - super high liquidity, 0% fees on sports on: April 21, 2015, 09:29:59 PM
Do you plan to keep it 0% fees for sports betting for the future?  It's in interesting strategy if you plan to only profit off the other events.  If only users were rational then you should have the whole bitcoin sportsbetting market in no time.

However, with other sites having a couple percent profit, this gives them a budget to market, better UI, affiliate program, etc...  Perhaps you can consider an affiliate program that pays say 25% of the fee's you make for that event, so it would only payout for the non sporting events at the time being.  This would give an incentive to other users to post and use an affiliate link when reviewing your site or for a signature campaign.

Yes I have the same question. But I am pretty sure that as the site gets bigger the fees will have to rise to pay the bills and maintaince of the site and server.
17945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Want to make risk free money? on: April 21, 2015, 09:28:56 PM
I've done this a lot a few years ago, earn a couple thousand.

You don't have to pay, people who manage these communities earn money through referral commissions and they usually get special promotions from betting sites because they refer a lot of people.

Yes but is this actually legal? Because it sounds like it would be illegal in the USA. Sounds like unlicenced gambling with bookies.

https://vid.me/vCPc

Did you see this VID People :O

That video is already shared by someone. I wonder if he got his red trust now for posting that video that has download link for the file which is probably a software to steal your money

I think so too, if that is real, the hacker should use it only by himself, but not released it. So the hacker can be next "HXXXXX(i forget his name)" guy who won 2000btc.

Its Hufflepuff

You're right. If that is real, the one who creates that can be rich if that is really working. why would he share that if doing so will only results in sites blocking his hack.

Yes its definately fake. I am if it was real the guy should just use it himself. Total fake scam
17947  Economy / Gambling / Re: @BTC Gamblers Feedback needed! on: April 21, 2015, 09:26:01 PM
Hello all!

Thanks a lot for the great amount of interest. The reason I primarily wanted PM's is that we were mainly looking for a few people that would consider doing a very short Skype interview.

We are not actually developing a gambling site, but rather we would like to provide a service that lets people gamble with a Crypto currency and all its benefits, without necessarily keeping their balance in Bitcoin/Altcoin which is as we all know, very volatile.

The essence of the service, not only limited to gambling, is therefore to provide a stable option which maintains all the great qualities of traditional currencies. We will disclose all the technical details and full description at a later time since we are still in pretty early-mid development.

As I previously mentioned we are mostly looking for some more detailed feedback right now. However, we would still be very interested to hear how many people would be interested in gambling with a currency that has all the positive traits of current cryptos but with the relatively stable value of i.e the dollar.

Again, many thanks to everyone for your time and interest.  Smiley

Cheers!

PS; Sorry for the slow response, busy weekend!

Would you provide some type of payment for the service? Or do people just do the interview for free?
17948  Economy / Gambling / Re: @BTC Gamblers Feedback needed! on: April 21, 2015, 10:32:42 AM
Hello gents and ladies!
We are developing a new stable coin/service. As the gambling market is one of our primary focuses we would like to talk to some people currently gambling with bitcoins/cryptos to make the service as useful as possible for the user.
We would also give you a small btc compensation you for the time! So please PM if you have a few minutes to spare, your help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

The only tip I can give you is to make a gambling site but make it something other then dice. There are way too many of those out there right now.

17949  Economy / Gambling / Re: Want to make risk free money? on: April 21, 2015, 10:30:06 AM
Look there are none out there. The only way I can think of is simple to use the faucet and bet big. But it will take a really long time to make any decent money.

Waste of time pretty much.
17950  Economy / Gambling / Re: We've opened a bitcoin casino! Bitcoins exclusively. on: April 21, 2015, 10:29:19 AM
Hey guys! It's me again, Mark.

We've recently launched or first little Trivia Game! Every week, our social media accounts (primarily Facebook and Google+, links on Twitter) will host a game to test your knowledge. First 10 right answers get 25 mBTC deposited to their account! We just opened the game, and you've still got time to answer. Go on ahead and give it a try!

See you guys next time!

Is it just me or does that model in that photo look like they are 12 years of age.

I think in the states it would be illegal to post a kid model for a gambling website.

The answer is yes Wink
Do you have a preferred altcoins?

Personally I wouldn't mind DOGE. Will there be an investment option for altcoins opened to current investors?

DOGE and DASH i like to play these coin on safedice, any plan when we will see these coin there?

In every gambling site its seperate but in my opinion, they always lose value and you should always keep it in BTC. The only thing is that the fees are high with BTC

I would like to suggest Stealthcoin (XST) and Gizmocoin (GIZ) for your site to add them . Well,Best of luck for running business.

Thanks for the recommendation guys Smiley

We're still in the middle of research and integrating the feature, I'll give an update with the release date when the time is near, this will be our first multi coin integration so I'd like not to overpromise the schedule. The additional coin will be using the same account (single account multiple coin), so all of the current feature will be available, including the investment option.

Is the alt coin will be seperated or will be converted it its bitcoin value?

Yes, I updated the version to the newest one and its stuck on "Status: Connecting".

It was working 3 days ago.

I think the nodes aren't connecting.

Works fine , and sync just fine for me..

Are you using software version 0.3.0.41(abcdeab)

?

Yes

Finally got it working by erasing my database and re-syncing.

will we get a a new sha256 POW/POS coin every day now? This is becoming really silly.

But as long as you make money out of it, then its worth it. Much better then making 0.01/BTC/TH/DAY

I want to share my strategy to everyone because I don't have many bitcoin and this strategy not tested in the long run that's why I give it to everyone. If you don't want my strategy then I will keep it myself and stop bashing me here.

If I have more time and bitcoin, I can do this easily.
step 1. Find the pattern - find many more pattern.
step 2. Learn the algorithm of the site or create your own algorithm.
step 3. Use some martingale
step 4. Create suitable Strategy for that site - I preferred unorthodox strategy.
step 5. Create bots then run in VPS.
as said you can't win in the long run, so no method/strategy can beat house. if you have luck/lots of bitcoins then you can make desired profits.

Exactly and creating a bot and putting it on a VPS is going to make it more and more unprofitable.

Unless maybe you just play off the faucet. But your winnings will be small.
17959  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S4+ available for global sales on April 20th, shipping within one week on: April 20, 2015, 09:03:48 AM
The reason why its more expensive then a couple of S5's is because it has the PSU included. And its almost as efficient as an S5.

An 1500W PSU is what? At least $200-250 ?

So price seems about right.

Took a loss on my long on DASH. Will see if the 0.001 Area holds like last time and maybe buy it there. So far every support level is broken.

Short term bearish. Similar situation going on with XMR
