Guys,
i don't know where you all newbies come from, but mining this coin was only
profitable in the early days, three years ago, like all coins were.
Nowadays there are no coins to mine profitable.
Even if you put in 20Mh/s it is leaving you with crumbs.
People are mining and staking XMG for three years now, only for the sake of the coin,
not for their own sake.
Since two, maybe three weeks, you newbies all came around and you only
speak about mining and the lack of profit.
Who told you mining XMG would be profitable, where did you all read of hear this?
The only way to make profit these days, with coins, is by trading on exchanges.
But you can also lose all your money by trading.
for me, is no bad 4$ daily with xmg..i am newbie. but i understand the dynamic..i want only continue mining xmg and obtain few profit i think that the mining, is for long time |

Noticed the solo mining info on the latest wallet update links and now I'm curious is anybody having any luck mining this coin solo with CPU?
I've only seen a couple of coins that could actually be solo mined with a cpu and would be very interested in mining XMG if it was in fact a decent option!

Both Yobit and bittrex still maintenance.
I sent message to Bittrex again. Think will be back up in 24 hours. Others i need to contact. If you have time or contact there feel free to send them a message. I always can use help. When i mining solo, can i use rpcallowip=192.168.* to permit the access from other host, but the hash of each host is counted separately or the wallet sum all hashrate? |

Anybody know of any pools that are currently active. The one I was mining on last night is down yet I still see a network hash rate of 6.4 MH so people are mining. I was just wondering where they are mining.

My Wallet stop Sync.... I´m on macOS ,what should i do to enable sync again? This could go on and on. I think you will need to change the PoW algorithm and that could take some time to be done right and properly tested. I would remove PoW for now and just run on PoS. I believe this will probably stop the forking. This is an unfair situation that may become more difficult as things progress imho.
If we can conclude this is caused by PoW and not by PoS I vote for this. Just for the record, I have the feeling it's PoS that causes the fork... I've seen more hybrid/PoS coins having this kind of unexplained problems than pure PoWs. And seeing the printscreen that someone recently posted [EDIT: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg21041520#msg21041520 ], with tens of stakes in a couple of minutes makes my belief stronger. That was my screen, from that time Joe and I decided to stop staking. So the last fork(s) was/were without MY staking. Thanks |
