So this is my second bout with hashcows and I've got to say I'm seeing nowhere near the profits I'd expect.. Mined for over 24 hours at 880kh/s and got a whopping 0.0012 with another 0.0005 unconfirmed.. That's 0.0015 in a period where I should have made closer to 0.01 by my calculations, or about 15% of what I'd expect.. Am I missing something here?
Is there some issue where auto-trading charges a tx fee of 0.1 and some of the amounts I mine are under that amount, meaning that I get no balance from the auto-trade or something???

I'm wondering if there might be 2 factors at play here: 1. Cryptsy set the # of confirmations required to a very high number because of the current risk of a 51% attack with our crazy network hash rate fluctuation. 2. These aren't as bad for older traders (trusted) - which is why some get their meow faster (total guess - no clue if they have a trust system). 3. Our blocks are getting solved in little bursts.. 120 blocks get solved in a couple minutes, then the next 120 take a couple days.. If you need 300 confirmations it can take a long time as a result.. This would be resolved by KGW.

Once we hit the hard fork, multi-pools will be less inclined to hit KittehCoin as they are. The massive hashrate spikes we're seeing have driven some core miners away, the hard fork reduced block times and then we're looking at KGW which should solidify things quite a bit. Patience Kittehs

Let's keep in mind that the upcoming change to 60 second block time will half the profitability of mining this coin.
I suspect we should see a decline in multipools as a result of this.

Shiiit why price is so low?? ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Because of minimal support? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) whose support? Buyers support silly kitteh!

We still have 650k meow to donate to charity so far -- votes favored action for a kitteh / animal shelter or rescue, or something for an endangered kitteh - though with the amount donated thus far we're probably leaning towards helping out a small shelter / rescue.. Sorry - been too busy to really push the charity thing but it's still big on my radar. Any help with researching best options would be warmly received.

So, can I just mine this in any kittehpool, or is there a hard fork coming where the pool operators will need to be on the ball? Is there a list of new pools which have been keeping their code up to date? [edit: I only have 100kH/s, so I need a fairly large pool to even see anything]
I would suggest http://kitteh.247mining.com/. Already updated to latest. Pools have a bit of time to switch, but there will be a point where they run out of time. More details at re-launch. Awesome ! thanks ^_^ I now have 5 meow coin. Meow to 500 we can do it!! Go to reddit. Tip bot was just launched and people are slap happy. /r/Kittehcoin

As promised despite selling out a while back, I re-bought 5000 MEOW and went on a tipping spree on reddit. So far 3500 MEOW have been collected by people who I am sure have never heard of kittehcoin before, and several of whom I know to be big tipbot users themselves (in Bitcoin) so they are likely to re-tip. The remaining 1500 are pending, probably by people who dont use reddit every day or are not yet able to figure out how to redeem the kittehcoin, or have no clue in general ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) About half a dozen people asked me for more info or followed up with a comment in other ways. Most tips were an average of 200, if you tip 50 or 100 that's nice and all but it's such a small amount that very few people will bother to figure out how to redeem. I tipped about 1/3 in dogecoin subreddit, and that one got the most consistent response and redemption pattern (not surprisingly) People sitting on millions of MEOW or more, if I can do this holding -zero- MEOW, you can sure do it too. If you want your investment to be worth anything significant you should strongly consider it tipping at least 5000 MEOW total, and honestly since you got in so cheap you should do 10x more than that if you honestly want it to have an impact. No MEOW tip, no moon trip. I'll send you some meow if you tip out at least 50% of it. You can keep the rest for your effort ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

what if the relaunch really isn't happening?
OMG! I just figured it all out.. It's all a hoax! Dano setup this pool and promoted it so he could steal a few million kitteh, then spent all this time promoting a false relaunch so he could pump up the price and sell his stolen meow! I bet he owns all of the dev's bitcointalk accounts too, and logs into IRC with multiple clients running multiple instances of TOR! It all makes sense now - and even better: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.memegenerator.net%2Finstances%2F500x%2F10535254.jpg&t=663&c=uFU-Zw1IuKJuuw)
