I should have known better and held onto my ETH, sold @ 1005 ... why why why do I ever sell needlessly lol

I've only used my electrum wallet a few times, just copy the amount and address into it was all i had to do.

you'd have to ask the makers of the board why they did it. could have been oversight, could have been the only way they knew how to make it work (at the time) could be a million other reasons. only they know though.

If I could find a GOOD MOLEX riser, I'd go with it - but so far no luck. The all-in-one risers I've gotten from COBOC via Newegg have been hassle-free. The Mintcell all-in-one risers worked, but the USB cable was iffy and had to be replaced to work well on one.
USB Cables I received were rigid white ones, and I was having problems with more than a few of them. Waiting on new longer cables now but so far that's what seems to be the main issue. I do like them so far though.

One VGA connection from PSU can handle 150w, so max 3 risers. Do NOT put riser and gpu on different power supplies.
Technically you shouldn't, but I noticed a few months ago I have about 5 rigs that have some risers powered on different PSU's than the GPU. I didn't feel like changing it. 4 months later. Still going. Zero issues.

If I do a signature again it would be for smos btw he is in my signature for free $0 no payment.
Thanks Phil, you just reminded me to post in his thread, I've only been asking for Alexis ccminer for 6 months now. OS is good decent an all, but really REALLY shitty slow support. Pulling 68 Mh/s on an smos rig, and 85 Mh/s on windows using the proper miner.

CAN WE GET CCMINER ALEXIS YET? I'VE ONLY BEEN ASKING FOR 6 MONTHS.

Is there a solution for the 1 rig that keeps resetting besides disabling watchdog for all rigs?
I've tried bumping the interval from 200 to 250 to 350 just keeps resetting that 1 every 200/250/350. Tried deleting, redoing the config, rewriting, nothing so far.

Time of Day is usually layered ON TOP of tier plans.
Yep, they installed the smart meter so they charge not sure if it's tier 2 or 3 on peak hours, but it doesn't matter for me since i'm tier 3 all the way baby. lol. well not anymore since i moved to the new location but still. they definitely get you.

I asked for YOUR OWN experience, not some FUD you read.
We had 500 1080 Ti's 2 risers per strand.
Not a single issue.
I'm tired of all the retards spreading FUD around with no fucking real world experience. A bunch of fucking parrots that go around squawking FUD FUD FUD because they read it somewhere, not because they know something, but because they only know how to repeat anything they hear. Poly want a cracker? Poly want FUD

Well if those things doesnt matter for you theres no problem just dont use sata adapters that are included with risers and you will be good to go
And why is that? Over 500 1080 TI's using those adapters for a year, not a single issue. So again, in your OWN experience. What was the issue you had.

Damn PGE is actually worse than SoCal Edison lol. My tier rate was .12 | .22 | .34 so was at 0.34 every month. Commercial in LA is 0.10 so hopefully I'll finally see a savings next month. Still not done with the build out though but at least some of the machines are running.

Focus more on the return on capital - you've already factored in that it costs 30% more, have you factored in how much more it produces? Just saying.
Also, for me personally, I have never and will never have more than 10-25% in hardware vs Crypto holdings. This is just my personal holdings/hardware ratio. Mining is fun, it makes money. At the end of the day though... well I'll just leave it at that.
Good luck on your crypto journey, never stop reading, never stop learning.

Are the wallets really needed? 99% of all my BTC is stored and not used at all so that's why I never got one, and the TAILS drives I have are encrypted to the max and all transactions (if any) go over TOR/Onion anyways so I just never bothered with hardware wallets.
With the amount of BTC in the holdings I've always thought about getting a wallet, but just never seen the need yet.
I got 2 Trezors, my wife has 1 and got 3 more Trezors for my boys. 1 BTC in a Trezor for the kids when they turn 21 and face the new world. Trezors, Ledgers are hardware based OFFLINE wallets - when not in use - there are completely disconnected = secure Yeah I hear you on the secure offline and I know I will shoot myself if any of the wallets got compromised, let a lone a few of them. I just can't get myself to justify the transfer fee. Being a miser will be my downfall lol

I hear ya Phil - seeds and a backup of the Tails drive stored in safe deposit box.
Probably the MAIN main main ... main reason I haven't done it is I am not trying to eat the fee to transfer all those BTC to the Trezor. If there were a way for me to do it without losing a few BTC I would but at this time I really can't justify it.
I would say that if I were just starting out hell yes I'd jump on a Trezor or Nano immediately.
If there's ever some sort of promotional rate for a transfer I'd be on that too. I'm just going to have to suck it up, those tx fees will be saved for cashing out, and I don't see myself cashing anything at all out for another year or 2.

Currently have 8 rigs set up with it working pretty well - 1 rig keeps rebooting every couple minutes so I just disabled watchdog for now. Any update on: - Expansion board ETA
- Web portal for remote management
For remote just rolling into TeamViewer for now, I might have a rig freeze like once a month or so so it's not a huge deal.

Updates updates updates pretty please
