181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows 10 x64 restart problem ? on: October 15, 2019, 08:52:51 PM
It's a failsafe from Windows itself in the event if the device is not shut down properly.

I know it can cause issues in a headless mining rig as it won't boot directly to the desktop until a manual input is provided by the user.

Anyway, you can disable this by following these steps in this post: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-automatic-repair-windows-10
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin ICO Whitepaper Drafting on: October 15, 2019, 07:14:13 AM
It will be better if you can move this post to the "services" board.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

This board is for the trading of goods and not services.
Good luck.

CoinExchange is closing. I can't return BTC. I can't to sell my MNT coins from february. Now I need to sell them. But no one want to buy MNT. Please hepl me with my coins MN Tracker MNT! Please, guys!

It's better if you forget about the coin. Even withdrawing it to a wallet if you find one is not going to be any use and only consume more of your time.
It's like someone created a new currency and printed loads of notes of it but now they are completely worthless, no value.
It looks like there are many users in the same boat as you're from the snapshot.
So, forget and move on.

do you think i can do better?

Msi rx570 8gb armor OC memory hynix. strap with one click patch PolarisBios 1.7.2

1150, 850 mv
2150, 850 mv

also how do I remove incorrect share eth??

> The hash rates for the cards are amazing and it's the highest I have ever seen with 6x RX570 8GB with being stable.
> You can definitely undervolt core and memory a bit to save on power. I had 2x RX570 4GB which hashed at 29.8 MH/s with 73W power consumption.
Try reducing core voltage in a decrement of 25mv until you hit a snag. Then similar for memory and you're good to go.
> Incorrect shares are due to excessive OC. Try for 2125 MHz for GPU0 and GPU1 and it should resolve this issue. Check for memory errors via HWInfo.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Mem Tweak XL - Read/modify timings/pp/straps on the fly on: October 15, 2019, 06:26:34 AM
Hi
i has pulse rx5700 hunix
mining eth phoenix miner 53+ mh
mclock 930, and if up 940+, miner drop to buck to 930
where this stop line? changing possible?

The stop line for your card seems to be 930 MHz. Don't OC much as it can cause stability issues or memory errors.

timing has 2 position:
1500 1800
and 1500 1750 1800
why?
change both 1500 to 1800, reload driver - not effect, mining 53+
0:1500, 0:1800
Timings with '0' start are active when you have Samsung memory in the card.
1:1500, 1:1750, 1:1800
Timings with '1' start are active when you have Hynix/Micron/Elphida memory in the card.

So you have to modify strap timings starting with '1'. Also, check if they are applied successfully.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 15, 2019, 06:14:18 AM
I'm having problems getting Claymore to launch. I'm running Adrenaline 19.2.2 drivers. Claymore launches, and then just sits and does nothing. eventually closes. I noticed that AMD settings won't lauch, which I take to be the problem. Did some googling and tried uninstalling the Intel integrated graphics driver. no help. Process is (hooked up to internet)
Reboot in safe mode.
DDU clean restart
install 19.2.2
restart
pixel clock patcher
restart

The computer sees the GPUs  both in device manager and in GPUz, but radeon settings will never launch. I see it in the system tray, but it never opens.

Up to date windows 10 OS. HDMI dummy in one fot he GPUs.  Same setup works on other device.

Change the graphics display to IGFX in BIOS.
Connect the dummy HDMI to the motherboard slot.
DDU and install the latest version of the drivers. Patch if GPUs are BIOS modded.
Then run the miner.

Any evidence for the same will be really nice.
Moreover, if you are going to arrange a reputable escrow from the forum and the price is attractive. Then I might be interested.

Please advice. The price is negotiable please add me via Skype.

Well, I have some concerns over this. It could have been a really good deal but I do not want to take any risks.
I have a dozen VPS running through Vultr for various purpose but if the purchased account gets void or banned for any reason, I will suffer a major loss.
So, it's a hard pass for me.

Income fell 2 times but network is still 11Mh/s...
The global Hash rate is down to 7.5 MH/s.

on mining pasc?

Probably yes because of the sharp fall in price on 9th October for PASC.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: October 14, 2019, 07:01:50 PM
It's not just recently but this has been going for a long time.

Why there are so many token projects released with ICO or IEO each and every day with literally nothing new?
Because it's easy to invest $200-300 and get a return in tens of thousands of dollars if they got some people to invest in sh*t token.

Once, it's done then rinse and repeat.

Also, there are many gigs available online which will develop a crypto exchange for you only for a few hundred dollars.
Then just get some people to use it and then in no time the website will be unreachable and all funds are lost.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: October 14, 2019, 06:42:32 PM
guys, last time was useng v12.0
stopped mining because 3gb GPUs stopped mining.
Now I see latest version is v15.
It says "no dag files"
is that mean I can use again my 3gb cards for ETH mining? Or 3gb are still unusable for ETH/ETC?

I am not a hundred percent sure what "No Dag Files" means but you will never be able to mine ETH/ETC using 3GB cards as DAG for both of it is above 3GB.
https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size

Yes, it does reflect the card pool. With Phoenix and same OC settings I don't have any of this issue. Card are running really cold, so it is also out a question that cards are slowing down because of heat. It is not just a moment, I'm talking about minutes slowing down.

Can you paste the complete claymore bat file text here?
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.8.0 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: October 14, 2019, 06:28:34 PM
Hi, what is the command for setting the temperature limit for each Nvidia card? I really need it.

I don't think there is any supported parameter for the temp limit but you can use MSI AB and enforce temp limits for any card from their GUI application.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 14, 2019, 08:05:43 AM
See, in the hypothetical situation where there is no other cryptocurrency than Bitcoin.
We would have never reached the potential that we have today for the cryptocurrencies because it was not just the BTC but so many other alt-coins that made news and spread the word about it.
Moreover, the TPS of BTC is so low that it would never reach mass adoption because even here, the higher TPS alt-coins made it possible to use cryptocurrency for day-to-day purchases and transactions, thus reaching mass adoption.

So, the price wouldn't be high but very low.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.7c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 14, 2019, 07:51:37 AM
Hello friends, I have a problem I am mining with a rig connected to solar panels, this allows me to use the GPU to the maximum during the hours of the sun but during the night I need to restrict the use of these to consume half, I try to use the -gpow command but nothing changes still working the same way can someone help me? Thank you

Rather than using -gpow parameter to reduce GPU usuage why not just disable mining on half the cards in the rig at night.

You can easily create a bat file that will execute at said time and disable half the cards through the device manager and then run the miner again with the half active cards.
Similar thing for the morning where the other bat file will activate the cards back and then run the miner again.
Disabled cards won't consume any power and you can get much better stability this way.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.6c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 14, 2019, 07:46:19 AM
No I never did as its Hynix memory. Its the main card in my multipurpose rig rather than a dedicated mining machine. I try to get less power draw on good hash speed rather than red line it. If im lucky I may get another when they go on the sales but since the profits are now negative its on the long finger wish list.

Hynix memory is so sensitive to memory OC. Anyway, If you can get some reference edition Vega 56 for a really good price then get one.
The reference cards were usually shipped with Samsung memory and they OC really well with better ASIC quality.
Sapphire or MSI will be a good choice.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with monerujo wallet for android. on: October 13, 2019, 03:07:42 PM
Hello to everybody to this forum. i decided to register on this forum to find someone to help me with my problem.
If this is the wrong section feel free to move it to the right one or tell me to repost it correctly. Wink
I am using monerujo wallet for android. Sometimes it is not easy to sent the monero directly and there is a problem with hashing the monero.
I am waiting some minutes but nothing happens. I allready installed monerujo a secound time and there is the same problem.
Do I have to use differrent nodes? Does someone have an idea for solving my problem? Is someone using monerujo or should i use a different application?
Thanks for of you helping me with my problem.  Smiley

The application itself is not at fault here but there can be some factors that may affect the speed and reliability of the transaction, which is:

1. If the wallet is connected via the mobile network and there is poor connection or speed then it can take some time for the transaction to be registered with the blockchain.
2. The fees for the transaction might be low thus not being recorded in the instantaneous next block mined.
3. As soon as you open the application after a while and execute a transaction, the wallet might be syncing the Monero blockchain to the latest height and until and unless it is completed it won't execute the said transaction.

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.14.6 NVIDIA GPU miner with web monitoring page and auto-updates on: October 13, 2019, 08:06:04 AM
How do I disable update notifications in miner and web-interface?

-q, --quiet                    Quiet mode. No GPU stats at all.
--hide-date              Don't show date in console.
--no-color                Disable color output for console.
     --no-nvml                Disable NVML GPU stats.
     --no-watchdog         Disable built-in watchdog.

Use these parameters in the bat file.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.6c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 13, 2019, 07:40:42 AM
I run it undervolted and Overdriven too, 41 mh/s fairly cool no where near its bench limits. It may be the driver so I installed the latest one to do more testing (19.10.1). It happened after I updated both gpu driver and PM but since the switch, this profile used to run absolutely solid. Dialled it back to test more and will see.

Sounds good. Did you flash 64 bios? It'll make a ton of difference in the hash rate. I was able to hit 1125 mhz in mem clock (samsung memory vendor) but it crashed after a while. So settled for 1095 mhz (stable).
199  Other / Off-topic / Re: GPU rental on: October 13, 2019, 07:30:42 AM
The answer is already in your title. Why not sell your gpu hashrate to https://www.miningrigrentals.com/ it wil give you better earnings just make sure that you calculate the electricity cost minus the time they rent your rig.

True but the thing is there are already so many people who want to rent out their rigs for a little more profit than mining but it is not a guarantee that the rig will be rented.
So for a long time, the rig will be inactive until and unless someone rents it and it might not be worth the wait or money.

The only way is to sell the rigs now for whatever price you can get because the prices will only go downhill from here as there are new GPU launches and discount offerings for the current one.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Low hashrate on eth mining after Windows update on: October 13, 2019, 07:25:00 AM
I tried many ways from youtube and google to disable windows update but all of them not working.  I mean it diable but my rig still updating every time it has new windows updates. I just always use the "paused" but it has a limited time of 1 month just to avoid or prevent windows for checking the latest updates.

The best that he can do if he doesn't want to experience this again better use other OS like SMOS this one I think will give better hashrate than windows just make sure the cards are modded already.

After disabling the Windows Update service in services.msc panel.
Go to gpedit.msc from run and in Windows settings, disable Automatic Windows Update and it should completely shut down any updates in the future.
You can also go with Windows 10 LTSC version where you only receive security updates rather than feature updates.
