Dana White was also amazed by the performance of UFC Fight Night and giving away a large bonus. $500k. Wow!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NVTK-5lXrY
In the video, he ain't happy about how late the referee from the stoppage of Bobby Green versus Jalin Turner. Well, it's just absurd to see that happening. Sometimes, they are too early but this is the first time I saw a decision as late as that.

Anyway, Dana was also asked about the planned superfight. It's obvious on his face that he will do everything to make it happen but has not told yet who will be on the card. But his smile definitely says a lot. Watch it.

Also talked about PFL buying Bellator. He ain't even worried about it. "Good for them, I wish them all the luck in the world." "One shitty organization buys another shitty organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches." "It's a win for me." Hilarious.

That is just 8 bonuses to all finishes for sure Dana White and the UFC are Happy with the results and for sure they now have great plans for Arman Tsarukyan in the future for that is one great event,

Well, Dana White admits the late stoppage and he agrees with it the referee surely felt sorry about what happened and Dana White is tired of excuses for sure, and Dana White also said to ask the referee involve in what his thoughts on the late stoppage,

For sure the Plan Superfight will be announced in the future if the UFC is ready to reveal it, for sure The smirk on his face says it all and that will be a great event for sure,

Nice couple of wins there.  Crazy that Dallas went on a 30-0 run and couldn't win the game.  Think it was one of the longest runs without winning the game in history. Lula was a beast.  Looking at the games ahead for the playin tourny and can't decide.  I think I have to lay on the Knicks as a Homer bet but can't decide on the others yet.

Thanks, I think it is all just luck, The Dallas Mavericks are doing great actually but because their luck sucks they keep on losing every game even though Luka Doncic is making plays on every game

Now my picks for the games today

Indiana Pacers (2.85) VS Boston Celtics (1.45)

  • Indiana Pacers Injury List

Tyrese Haliburton (Illness/    Game Time Decision)
Obi Toppin (Ankle/ Game Time Decision)
Jalen Smith (Heel/ out until at least Dec 6)

  • Boston Celtics Injury List

Kristaps Porzingis (Calf/ out until at least Dec 7)

Sacramento Kings (1.63) VS New Orleans Pelicans (2.35)

  • Sacramento Kings Injury List

Chris Duarte (Knee/ Game Time Decision)
Alex Len (Ankle/ out until at least Dec 29)

  • New Orleans Pelicans Injury List

Matt Ryan (Elbow/ out until at least Dec 11)
Larry Nance Jr. (Ribs/ out until at least Dec 31)

This event is not as good as the one just last weekend at Austin but it's decent enough.  At least for me it is, not sure about you guys.  :/  And I'm glad Garcia vs Costa is still happening and moved to this event.  Excited to see Costa back in the cage.

UFC Free Fight:  Song Yadong vs Simon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ozva8A3-9s

UFC Free Fight:  Gutierrez vs Alatengheili
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTKfpaOhFMw

And here is the last event's results...  And man, Tsarukyan is on a tear.  I wonder who the UFC will give him next.

For sure Melquizael Costa is a solid fighter who wants to celebrate with a roll-over, so back flip, and summersault, those kicks that will get to the chest are lethal and can stun his opponent for a couple of seconds and can become an opportunity for a wide variety of attacks for sure after seeing his fights I am interested as well, for sure he is now well-rounded coming into the UFC as he can defeat an opponent in the ground but for sure he wants to do it with style,

For me Arman Tsarukyan deserves a title match, what he has showcased in this event makes sure he can give it a try to get into Islam Makhachev's nerve but before that, I want to see an Arman Tsarukyan VS Charles Oliveira 1st, before Arman Tsarukyan can get into the champion,

Well, if you know that UFC 296 comes after this FN event, then no doubt this or previous event would look like "not as good" Cheesy Honestly, I dont see which fight could catch my attention. The main event looks promising on the paper, rank7 vs rayup! nk14, but dont know, dont feel like there is going to be something between those 61kg "heavyweights" Cheesy Maybe Smith will pull this event from swamp of boredom.

So far, the only thing, from whole event, that caught my attention was Park Hyun-sung parting in hair Cheesy

And this guys skin. His vitiligo looks like someone is playing video game and could not decide which skin he would use.

(sorry for my black Monday humor)

Yup! UFC 296 is surely a banger of a fight, no doubt about that however I agree about this event there is not much of a solid fight I really don't see any interesting ones, but for sure Sumudaerji vs Allan Nascimento maybe, Steve Garcia vs Melquizael Costa fight, Tatsuro Taira vs Carlos Hernandez is what I am interested to see for sure Tatsuro Taira this undefeated Japanese is just 23 years old and still have a lot ahead of him is an interesting one to see in this event for sure,

Well, Melquizael Costa's skin problem is not a joking matter but whatever I agree with you, Cheesy and his skin coloration might be changing a lot I really don't know why but there is a video that explains his skin condition vitiligo has caused him depression but Martial Arts and MMA have saved him and MMA has been a coup for it,
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 03, 2023, 11:53:13 PM
I mean Warriors won with a lot of help from the bench as well, there are plenty of players I have never heard of that played very well games that allowed them to have a good win against Clippers. I have never heard of "podziemski" for example and dude scored 13 points, or Kuminga had a great game and got 17 points, Dario Saric is still in the league, I thought he retired and dude had 13 points too.

So all in all, Warriors should be quite thankful to their bench team to be this good in order to win this game, and I think it's quite clear that they are going to end up with a much better result if they can keep getting this type of production from the bench all season long. Their starting five doesn't look all that championship level to me, it looks like they are fine but not at Denver levels or Celtic levels anymore, they look like a barely playoff team to me, like first round exit level team, and very best case second round exit, that's it, I do not see conference finals for them this season.

Steve Kerr is getting the wrong call nowadays and has put a loss to the Warriors because of him for sure Steve Kerr needs to have more time for the new players to make them improve and let them gain experience in playing inside as they badly need it to improve and right now the Warriors Bench also has a solid play and Brandin Podziemski is one of that guy that likely will shoot three-point shot without hesitation even the lay-up technique of Stephen Curry he also doing that even with a taller defender, Mosses Moody as well got a great time getting those 3 point shots without any problem at all for me the new players of the Warriors needs a lot of playing time,

They actually have decent squad, but the problem is they can show their reap potential since the ball is always with Lebron. Lakers is building the career of Lebron that's why their production became questionable and their talented roster cannot show their potentials.

If Lakers should focus on how their player can share the ball and also can shoot on they touch the ball so that they could win. Since if they rely on Lebron and AD only for sure they would never go any far this season.

They already made a mistake for having Westbrook since they don't have chemistry with their team so its good if Lakers would focus to create good chemistry and confidence with their current roster.

For sure they have problems with their chemistry and the important part of these is the player's confidence just like the Warriors I think the Lakers have a lot of talented players right now who need confidence in taking up for themselves and not consistently doing nothing, for me they need to improve Jarred Vanderbilt, D'Angelo Russell, Cam Reddish, and Austin Reaves, to take more time in getting those plays,

Amazing event for sure and in actuality I was really enjoying what has happened with my bet,

Beneil Dariush (3.30) VS Arman Tsarukyan (1.34) - WIN

It was a fast fight and Arman Tsarukyan was really awesome in this fight for sure Beneil Dariush is still thinking about what has happened, actually watching the fight normally you will never see the punch of Tsarukyan or why he won the fight because it was so fast that you will never see the punch that knockout Dariush, for me I think this is really proof that Arman Tsarukyan is way ahead of Mateusz Gamrot and I was to really see a rematch, and surely Tsarukyan is almost near his target and that is to fight Islam Makhachev,

Jalin Turner (1.54) VS Bobby Green (2.49) - WIN

Jalin Turner really is something and for sure I was right by saying that Turner really has the advantage with his reach and 100% that he will be using it in the fight, with a quick 1, 2 combo Bobby Green was on the canvas and Turner is mowing Green to the ground not stopping until the referee says it, which is he was just doing his task while the referee was just looking at the fight until Green was face flat in the canvass, for sure many are saying that the referee should be fired for that and it was a late stoppage, but a great win for Jalin Turner,

Clay Guida (3.60) VS Joaquim Silva (1.29) - WIN

You can see that Glay Guida keeps on moving and it is like he doesn't want Joaquim Silva to know his movement but for sure Joaquim Silva is just patient in searching for an opening and for sure Guida gets a shot that Silva gets dropped but eventually, Joaquim Silva recovered easily and even though Guida got the takedown Joaquim Silva still got a good position in the scramble, for sure Clay Guida is a warrior was hurt but again he wants this for sure, for sure he takes the fight to Joaquim Silva and amazingly Guida even manage to free himself on one of the Guillotine of Silva, but this fight was really amazing Guida Survives but still Joaquim Silva win the fight,

Here are the results for my picks for the NBA games yesterday,

Chicago Bulls (2.27) VS New Orleans Pelicans (1.67) - LOST

It was a close game and it was actually a back-and-forth game but eventually, the New Orleans Pelican was leading at the end of halftime because of Herb Jones, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram they managed this, but for sure the Chicago Bulls didn't allow this and eventually got their rhythm with Ayo Dosunmu, Torrey Craig, DeMar DeRozan, and Coby White getting this game a win for them, and a lost for my bet,

Milwaukee Bucks (1.41) VS Atlanta Hawks (3.00) - WIN

It was a close game as well until the end of halftime and the Milwaukee Bucks got the 4-point lead until they Milwaukee Bucks didn't let it slip in the 4th quarter actually an amazing performance for Saddiq Bey, Dejounter Murray, and Trae Young for the Hawks and keeping the score close, but eventually the Milwaukee Bucks with Malik Beasley, Cameron Payne, and Damian Lillard's play makes have eventually gained the momentum and Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-double,

Dallas Mavericks (2.39) VS Oklahoma City Thunders (1.61) - WIN

Close game for the Oklahoma City Thunders and the OKC got a lead in the 1st half closing the halftime with 72 points OKC and 56 Mavericks, but the Dallas Mavericks cut the lead to nothing in the 4th quarter, but the Oklahoma City Thunders managed to take the close win against the Mavericks and Luca Doncic's incredible triple-double performance, but the OKC manage to win this with 6 points lead,

Los Angeles Lakers (1.52) VS Houston Rockets (2.60) - WIN

A solid lead for the Los Angeles Lakers at the end of halftime, with 44 for the Rockets and 60 for the Lakers, and the Los Angeles Lakers didn't let the Houston Rockets take another lead in the 2nd half that eventually managed to take the win top performer was Anthony Davis but still the team of the Lakers had a great time with this game, and manage to make a win

Maybe enter into the selected pools run on the forum so you can be eligible to participate in the contests next season.

Maybe next event I will post something on it next for sure but right now with the fights and the wins that I get in this event and so here are the results for my picks and predictions for the event,

Here are my picks and Prediction for the fight that is happening now, for UFC Fight Night Austin

Beneil Dariush (3.30) VS Arman Tsarukyan (1.34)

For this fight, I think that Arman Tsarukyan is a greater offensive wrestler than Dariush, and like Beneil Dariush would surely scramble against him for sure, as Beneil Dariush will constantly go with engaging with wrestling but for me, Tsarukyan will have the power in controlling the fight just like Oliveira did, takedown defense is great with Arman Tsarukyan and I have seen him get into the distance while Dariush is seen getting tired on the 4th round and for sure because of his age I really don't know if he can manage to go the distance, so my pick is Arman Tsarukyan,

Jalin Turner (1.54) VS Bobby Green (2.49)[/b]

Jalin Turner is much taller than Bobby Green for sure he got the reach advantage in this fight while Bobby Green will be unpredictable in the stand-up for sure Jalin Turner has many tools in getting into Bobby Green so I assume that Green even though Turner is on short notice he can quickly get a glimpse of what he can do inside the octagon with Bobby Green because for me Jalin Turner is much faster and he like got power as well so my pick is Jalin Turner,

Clay Guida (3.60) VS Joaquim Silva (1.29)

For me, I am going with Joaquim Silva just because Clay Guida is old now, and for me, he is not explosive anymore, for sure even though Joaqui Silva will have the power and strikes to get this done, I like how Silva does have decent wrestling or ground game while I think I am doubting Guida here if he can still scramble on the ground against Turner because I think this is really obvious that it will be for Silva so my pick is Joaquim Silva,

192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2023, 11:09:43 PM
Good fights this weekend. Early picks for me would be; Horth, Turman, Solecki, Joaquim Silva, Bobby Green, and Arman. However, that's without looking at any statistics or tape. I'll be looking a little more in depth closer to the end of the week, but I think Bobby Green is going to surprise a few people, and definitely has a chance.

Actually, I Like your choices mostly the Arman Tsarukyan, Bobby Green, and Joaquim Silva for seeing their latest fight records and stats for they will do fine with each of their opponents my only concern is Clay Guida's experience on the ground for sure if Joaquim Silva can defended all of those takedowns he can manage to control the situations and for sure I am doubting Guida's age he is now 41 years old and could anytime announce his retirement, but for sure Joaquim Silva is way younger and for sure can be stronger and faster than Guida, and could also counter his attempts going into the ground,

We are playing math now Cheesy Dont forget that Tsarukyan lost by UD to Makhachev. A guy who subbed Oliveira, who TKOed Dariush (when he supposed to submit him) Cheesy Its Tsarukyan that gained experience after Makhachev fight vs Dariush who lost peak Oliveira. Dunno, dunno. I am bad at math... Gonna be a good fight.

Actually, I hate math so for sure I will not get any formulas and computations when accessing a fight, for after seeing both fighter's previous fights I think Arman Tsarukyan had many advantages that could seem helpful in any way, but regardless of what may happen with the actual fight we don't really know for sure all we can do is to speculate and try to think of what may happen inside the octagon if the 2 fight, Islam Makhachev is a great fighter and for sure a great candidate so we can see what a fighter can do, for sure he is the Barometer to scale a fighter if what he can do with a certain fighter,

Didn't you make a thread about long term EV?  I think that applies here.

Yup, I did.
I think there's some decent money to be made by betting on some of the UFC underdogs, as we have some good value bets quite often.
I'm actually tempted to do an experimental run of "betting on underdogs" tactic (and maybe create a dedicated thread), but I don't have much time to watch sports, other than highlights from the top UFC events, which is a bit too narrow field to pull that off. But who know, maybe next year.

For some reason there could be a chance for Beneil Dariush to win and what can we say it is really tempting to bet on the underdog and if there could be a profitable bet that would be in betting with the underdogs for sure but I still don't think that the Risk is still there and I am really looking high and mighty on Arman Tsarukyan right now I really don't know but also got tempted in making a bet on Dariush as well,
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 30, 2023, 09:42:37 PM
I just recently understood how the rules will be in a tiebreaker of the In-Season tournament. So, it was a point system, just like in FIBA and the Olympics.
When the commentator talked about it during the Warriors vs Kings game that the Warriors need 12 points and win the game, that's when I understood it. I am stupid to think that they will use the regular season rankings to identify the winner.

So, the Warriors were defeated so I guess there's no problem in Group C anymore. It was actually a sad defeat because they tried very hard to make a 17-point lead and I really thought they could win the game. But Payton was hurt, CP3 was also hurt, and those two will be their key to winning the game. Sure, Wiggins is hot but still, when it comes to defense, Payton was the one who stopped Fox from attacking the paint.
It was a nice rotation from Steve Kerr, he did well despite all those problems. But, they still lost and I think the Warriors need more time to catch up on chemistry with Draymond Green.

Just like you I also don't understand the In-Season Tournament, but sure in time it will sink in eventually, right now I am still waiting the end if this Season's Tournament can make a big impact on the standings and if the team can enter the play-offs,

Well that Golden State Warriors VS Sacramento Kings match is really something Chris Paul for sure can eventually get injured and this is the worst time to get injured for sure for some reason after this game Chris Paul was not the only Warrior who got injured because in the injury list, we got Andrew Wiggins with a finger injury, Usman Garuba also has a finger injury Gary Payton II with a calf injury, and Chris Paul with a lower leg injury that is 3 main key players for the Warriors, Andrew Wiggins, Usman Garuba, and Chris Paul will be out until at least Dec 2, and Gary Payton II has the worst injury that could be out until at least Jan 2,

It looks like Celtics and Sixers started great in first 10 matches. Timberwolves is leading the West but they don't get much appreciation in the poll.

What's the hot discussion right now? Do you have any suggestion for our new poll? Let me know so I'll change it.

First team to get 20 wins maybe?

Right now TS has already added something in the Poll and as you have suggested he added Timberwolves to the list sure it will get updated until the play-offs as for sure we are still in the midst of the season and it is just getting warm-up for most teams for sure I am really looking forward for some updated with the In-Season Tournament, for sure many fans are excited about it, and some were baffled by it,

Good for you, without Embiid's presence, the Sixers are not just missing their best offensive player but also their big man, and yes Zion will take that.
advantage as he can penetrate well and create most of his inside points.

And with CJ back on the court, his offensive threat just adds up, looking with their squad if all will be healthy I guess they also have that chance.
moving forward.

A Healthy Zion, Ingram, CJ and Valančiūnas all the positions that will be covered, they just need to work as one and create a good blend of game plays.

The Philadelphia 76ers badly need Joel Embiid, as he is the bread and butter for the team along with Tyrese Maxey, averaging great with 50 points against the Pacers on November 13 game, Tobias Harris, with a max of 43 points in the games against Cleaveland on November 22 game, for sure in addition of Joel Embiid the Philadelphia 76ers this season is a strong different team for sure,

Thanks, I want to share the Multi-Master challenge as it has something that provides free bets to someone who has gotten the correct pick of winning fighter it was really easy winning for sure, and as it is also free,

lol Dana in the hospital?

Bellator + PFL and then NGannou vs Paul seem like a ticket-sold-out scenario in minutes. as hilarious as it may seem, this is the kind of match that makes money.
we all know UFC is always been the top promotion but with the rise of PFL and Ngannou promoting his fight that is making trends, it definitely shifted some poles.

For sure this is something that Dana White doesn't want to happen PFL gaining tremendous views and recognition with the fans as the dominance could get shifted really quickly, but for me, I don't think that the UFC would likely need to compete with the PFL as many surely know that the UFC is the number 1 MMA fighting promotion but with the recent PFL and Ngannou collaboration that was really something for the UFC to be on alert on what is happening with the PFL,

The UFC fight card keeps getting more boring as time goes by, I have never seen an institution that is so stubborn as the UFC heads especially Dana and I think if things continues like this they would lose credibility and popularity.
We have seen Francis Ngannou leave the UFC because of the payment packages he receives and he is now with the Pfl and has said the amount he will earn on one fight card outweighs his entire UFC earnings which is crazy, Jon Jones is also facing same issue, Isreal Adesanya is also out, I think UFC should pay their fighters better

For some weird reason, the PFL on their recent event has gained so many views and PFL still isn't stopping creating surprises for the UFC and Dana White, this is concerning to them as the UFC would need to have a better promotion for their fighters and increasing  the pay isn't going to be an option as we all know how the UFC has scheme something Jon "Bone" Jones is still recovering from injury, Israel Adesanya is taking sweet time for sure he wants to be ready enough both physically and mentally, but not out in the UFC,

There is some certain amount of money that you will lose and you will be so pissed and probably quit, but not this guy.

I've been talking a lot about how people should learn to be a responsible gambler but there is a crazy gambler that I just meet, from a friends friend, the crazy thing about this person is how about how much he has lost in gambling, enough to go south in the ear of others and he has never made any big gains to cover what he has lost, the crazy part is...

This guy is giving me a weird vibe, like a different gambling breed, he knows he have the gambling addiction problem but he just doesn't care, like for real, he doesn't care, the amount he has lost is in six figures but very weird how he is able to handle it.

Some gamblers are different breed to be honest, they don't care about what their present situation is, if they are breathing they are good, anyone know crazy gambler who don't care if they lose big amount of money and they still gamble?

I've get to know that not all gamblers need to be a responsible gambler, some knows, they are not hypnotized by gambling, they are fully awake and they still choose to be a reckless gambler.

Pretty much he will act normal when you ask him or talk to him, as gambling addicts will not openly say that they are addicted to it, they will just say maybe I am addicted but will not fully accept that they are and the actuality that they are not aware that they are addicted to it for sure you are the one who would tell that he is really addicted, for some reason they still functioning OK and their mind is in a state of having problem in the back of their mind but still cool and collected, like there is no problem at all,

For sure that different vibe that you are feeling is because you are not engaged with serious gambling problems yet you are amazed by how cool and collected he is in front of you and having a normal conversation with you that is why depression is so hard to detect it is because it the person that looks genuinely look fine,so for sure your friend might be in need of a help,

The actuality that I just got 1 win over 3 is something of bad luck, and for sure I want to get the losses back, here are the results of my game

Detroit Pistons (1.70) VS Washington Wizards (2.22) - LOST

I was surprised about Kyle Kuzma getting almost a triple-double in this game and I was really shocked I thought that the Detroit Pistons could get a win in this one, but for sure Jordan Poole just got 25 minutes playing right now and they did a great job right now in giving limited time to Jordan Poole as he is playing insanely not great, but Kyle Kuzma is perfect in doing solo in this game,

Philadelphia 76ers (1.44) VS Los Angeles Lakers (2.90) - WIN

Now in this game, the Philadelphia 76ers have destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers game for sure Joel Embiid has a solo game performance right now, with a triple-double and his tandem with Tyrese Maxey was a great job with the Los Angeles Lakers and I was really right with my bet this time, for sure Lebron James and Anthony Davis got stop by the 76ers with their scoring,

Los Angeles Clippers (1.36) VS Denver Nuggets (3.25) - LOST

The scary thing happened as the Denver Nuggets won the game without both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray on the team the Los Angeles Clippers were surprised about this game even though Russell Westbrook and Ivica Zubac got a double-double and Kawhi Leonard got great scores of 31 points, for this game but it was not enough as a surprising Reggie Jackson and DeAndre Jordan has managed to won against the Clippers,

Guys, I want to discuss or here your thought on how UFC has changed over last 5 years probably. Here are the things that have changed or I dont like:

1) In the past, all divisions have enough fighters or challengers. Now what we have, fighters fight against each other for 3-4 times
2) Or are so dominant in their division, that they move to other
3) A lot of fighters wish to move or try boxing. Mostly because of high payment there and low payment in UFC.
4) Fighters complain about who they fight. They choose who they fight. Previously, if UFC says fighter gonna fight Godzilla, he will fight if Godzilla makes the weight.

5-10 years ago I would even imagine that for example Chuck Liddell would challenge Brock Lesnar and complain that he earns low.

Number 1 I think that is why the UFC keeps on having the Dana White Contender Series for new fighters who want to try it in the UFC and if they win Dana White will give them a contract that they will eventually be welcome in the UFC

Number 2 this happens all the time and if a fighter feels like he is getting dominant in that division he will eventually get into a lower or higher 1 to take on the challenge for the belt for sure every fighter dreams of having 2 belts,

Number 3 this is something for the organization to change and to give a higher pay cut maybe giving a 1 time 1 million pay for the fighter if they won, just like in the PFL but for sure payments in boxing and the MMA are pretty much different,

Number 4 that's up to the fighter if they don't want that fight but if that is Khamzat Chimaev then he will surely Smesh everybody,

pawel7777, I was more thinking about situation with Figuiredo vs Moreno, Conor Poirier, possible Conor vs Diaz 3, and other fighting series. Imho a real fan would watch any fight where his favourite fighter fights. And the situation with Volk for example and others go to other division for a fight. Each division has perhaps 100+ fighters, but no, fighters prefer to go to other division for more challenge, or because they have beaten everyone in their division (sometimes for 2 times).

Maybe they search for big names in other division. But in past, every division has enough big names. Nobody jumped here and there for a better fight.

For sure if a fight gets great reviews and many positive comments then for the UFC that will be profitable and if a fight gets a high PPV profit and if fight is a controversial one for sure the UFC will give another chance to the other fighter and they could get a rematch and for sure the rematch will then goes up to 2 or 3rd times depending if people wants to see it again,
