181  Economy / Speculation / Re: goodbye panic seller and thank you on: April 21, 2018, 03:28:43 AM
Can't say I can rate them accurately but this price is something that would prevent them from panicking I guess.  Wink Seeing this uptrend in price will make me think that the market will recover and will go into a bull run so panic sellers will realize this and will be more convicted in holding their fair share of bitcoin and starts accumulating more although they are late to do so.
182  Economy / Reputation / Re: I never expected this on: April 21, 2018, 03:16:50 AM
You'll only make it worse if you try on finding a way make that red trust of yours disappear. You have no way out of this because it is already proven, so better learn from your mistakes and accept the fact. You are probably on The Pharmacist's ignore list so you might not get any hopes of a response from him.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 21, 2018, 03:02:56 AM
I disagree! Even if a lot of regulations comes into place. Banks and the government will not be able to stop us (small fish) from investing and trading cryptocurrencies. They can't stop us, and a lot of people will go berserk about it that will cause them more problems. We will also find one way or another if worse comes to worst for us. Besides, IMO, we are needed in the market for it to become a healthy tho if you know what I mean.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: April 21, 2018, 02:54:49 AM
The cashless society is good for the country it will reduce the corruption. But digital money(cryptocurrency) again it will increase the corruption rate so both are same.

To make cashless society is no easy, only educated people can understand this digital currency what about uneducated? how can we teach them? it's not an easy process takes years.
Cashless Society will not reduce corruption, it will only make it easier to do so.

In my country, people who are using digital money to buy goods and services online, still can't be compared to other countries whose technology is far more superior than us. But even so,  not going into a fully cashless society is better and I want both physical and digital money to go hand and hand with each other.
185  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Farmer [SPOTTED] on: April 20, 2018, 05:02:13 PM
Huge catch OP! A bunch of sig spammers less in this forum now. Tho, those users are tagged now, it would be still possible for them to join other signature campaigns that don't have a rule about red trust. A moderator banning those accounts since it is an obvious account farming and sig spamming is a solid base to do. This would be the only way to stop them.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should bitcoin rise and fall? on: April 19, 2018, 03:36:39 PM
Would you rather want bitcoin to be stable as much as possible? Then there would be no point in investing to cryptocurrencies anymore if that happens. The problem is that all people just want to earn money without any frustrations in mind whenever they do an investment not that I say it is bad but it is inevitable to lose money on your investments every once in a while.
187  Other / Meta / Re: Challenge ! From newbie to Full Member. Let's see if merit system works on: April 19, 2018, 03:29:43 PM

I never got any merits. theymos broke my life!!1!
- theymos has nothing to do with your live LOL. All he cares is, Looking after the forum.

LOL. He did not mean it that way, he's just being sarcastic over the fact these shitposters thinks that implementing the merit system is unfair to them because they can't even earn a single merit.

I'm getting the tired of these kinds of threads about complains in the merit system. I really don't care about the OP once I know what will it be all about. I'm just fond of the replies of members who will contradict the author.
188  Other / Meta / Re: @Admins: Merit not working as configured, trolls just don't care (no surprise) on: April 19, 2018, 03:20:29 PM
An alternative way of banning signature campaigns/remove signature is to have a merit requirement for participating in one. This should be imposed by all campaign managers out there especially in altcoins. Also, it may be better if only Full Members or Senior members and up are the ones allowed to participate in campaigns. Let's see how lower ranks thrive to make their way up to the forum.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: You only need 1 good year for Bitcoin to be a good investment on: April 19, 2018, 01:48:08 PM
In any case, people who complain all the time about their investments and price of cryptocurrencies here in the forum, feels like that is just their way of letting off some steam. We also can't be sure if a specific year is the best one for us and not all investors/trader keeps track of their loss and gain in cryptocurrencies so we always want to have a better year everytime.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach its Bottom? on: April 16, 2018, 12:03:32 PM
Bitcoin price CRASH: Analysts think cryptocurrency could be reaching its BOTTOM
BITCOIN could be reaching the bottom of its bear run as experts speculate the cryptocurrency could fall in the $6,600-$6,000 range over the weekend, it has been reported
Who cares, true hodler never care about price movements.
When the time comes, you won't need ever exchange your bitcoins, you will buy everything with it.
Funny, you say that hodlers do not care about price movements. Roll Eyes What do you think is the purpose of holding on to something then? Most hodlers are holding to their share of coin until it reach a specific price in their mind before they do whatever they plan to do at that moment.

Bitcoin certainly reached the bottom of its bearish run at $6000+. It has been a long struggle for bitcoin before it recovered to $8000. If bitcoin still declined in that price, more people will surely buy at that chance.

While reading through the last page of a specific thread, I stumbled upon this user
xuuy7
that posted this one:
Investment is risky. I think everyone has suffered losses during the transaction. I think we should learn more and progress. Ultimately based on your experience, you will gain knowledge.

Right after that post, this user weeg4 posted the same thing.

This just clearly shows that these are alt accounts and they are just spamming the forum. Hope they get banned  Angry This one is an easy catch, these newbs are blatantly showing account farming by posting the same reply consecutively.
192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: April 16, 2018, 11:41:18 AM
Doing both things will be better. HODL coins that are undervalued at the moment that has a huge potential of being pumped in the future. Whilst you can do two types of trading, either you do a long trading which you will wait and sell at a higher price or you can do short trading where you sell first the coin and buy it again at a lower price then repeat the process. As a crypto user, you must be able to distinguish which coin is better to HODL or trade.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the rise you are looking for on: April 15, 2018, 05:17:24 PM
As we hope it to rise, always looking any rise like a saver but instead they seem like to a trap.
Just look at one month ago what happened from any graphic, from 7200 to 9200 it was a wild process it just rised too fast then everybody believed it is real and jumped, left with a bag in lap ,it came back to 6ks. So calculate well it s the same guy again moving, it will rise then another rise then a big fall. if it rises too steep that means it not natural, if its not natural grace yourself  Kiss
So what kind of rise should we expect to not think that this will all be another trap? The fact that we can't be too certain about these things implies that this rise could be different from the $7200 -$ 9200 rise last time, but considering what you said, y'all should always be careful and not get carried away easily by this rise. Always think if you are doing the right thing to that you will not regret it later.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will the bull market start? on: April 15, 2018, 04:53:36 PM
Well, you're pretty late if you will decide to buy now. I'm sure that the people that are telling you to buy cryptos gave you the signal when the market is red/pretty bad. Although, you can still buy now and don't wait for another dip because no one here can tell you for sure how the price in the market will go. You just have to decide that for yourself. Look at the market and you can see for yourself that it is starting now.
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: April 15, 2018, 11:19:58 AM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
Trading altcoin is more profitable than holding bitcoin. Let's say for example, you are holding an altcoin at 1$ per token, then the next day the price of altcoin increased from 0-100% this is possible because we are talking about altcoin. If you convert it to bitcoin after that, then you will likely to earn more profits compared to holding bitcoin in which you are not sure of how the price would turn out.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can one trade without losing?? on: April 15, 2018, 05:54:03 AM
I looked at my pc screen 247, 20 hours out of the 24 hours in a day. I am familiar with all the trading signs like hammer,  inverted hammer, doji. But even with these I still lost while trading. Most times, I decided not to trade without news from a particular project but even with a huge news like partnership, burning folks, I end up still losing.
What's really the cause? And how can I trade without losing much?
Maybe it is much better if you stop for a while and think about what you're doing wrong that you kept losing money despite being active in monitoring the market.

I had similar fate my friend, I was constantly losing money with my trades. So I stopped and I applied different strategy, mid or long term trading. I am very successful if I can say, and I could do better too. Take a look on my posts, I bought a lot of iotas under 50¢, then I sold it at 1.7$, what a mistake that was, it went over 4$, I waited 4 months for that rise, and I couldn't be patient for a day or to and sell at 4$. Then ripple, I was buying at 25¢ and sold over 3$. My biggest mistake was litecoin, I sold long ago before 100$ and later 300$. I was talking a lot here that this coin will rise in price and they did. Now I bought ripples again under a dollar, iota I'm thinking to buy again, litecoin definitely yes under 200$. Stellar, cardano under 1$ great buy, and many more coins and tokens.
Don't hurry to make money, take it easy, pick a good, undervalued coin buy when ever you have a chance, if it drops buy more and wait your golden chance.
+1
OP, you should take points from this. You may be rushing things because you want to see the fruits of your hard work and as a result, you end up with wrong decisions. You've gotten a lot of advice so I don't want to add any more because it is already been said.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does Day Trading Means? on: April 15, 2018, 05:41:43 AM
Getting a little bit confuse here. What Does it means by day trading and are any advantages and disadvantages in day trading. Thanks

Day trading means your executing a buy and its corresponding sell on the same day.  Day traders are usually looking to ride the swings of the day by looking at the charts and trying to predict what the lows will be be and what the highs will be.  This does come with a lot of risk though.  The trends never last that long and you could end up stuck at a position just because the price jumped in a direction you did not expect it to.
Correct! Day Trading is most suitable for the people who can dedicate their time to it and can focus on analyzing the market well. Also, you should think about it first before trying day trading if you will be emotionally and mentally prepared for the uncertainties that come along in predicting the market. You might end up losing even more even though day trading is supposed to earn you quick profits.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice Needed on: April 15, 2018, 05:36:29 AM
hello everyone!
I am quite new to the cryptos, however Im very interested in learning and discovering the trading process of cryptos!
Therefore, I would like to ask crypto traders for some advices about how to better learn the trading process and how to start trading. Thanks in advance!
 Smiley Smiley
Time and time again "new comers" are asking same question about advices about trading. You can see same thread in this forum and i believe you have already gotten the right answers for this kind of question. Please do care to read.
Yes, this is one of the main problems that forum is solving. The fight against spammers which mostly came from newbies who don't do a single effort to read first through the forum for their simple questions. I'm tired of skipping through some pages because all I see is the same topic over and over again. To the OP, please lock the thread now as I'm well aware you already know the answer.

200  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: April 14, 2018, 03:33:18 PM
I'm not one of those people, but I think that some of them think that just because the price has thus far always recovered, rebounded and spiked higher, it's the safer bet to just hodl than to try to guess which way the market is going to go.  Anyone who's dabbled in trading has at some point guessed wrong and ended up losing out on profits or even outright losing their own money.  It's this fear that drives the hodl mentality, i.e. "it's always recovered and soared before so surely it will again.  All I have to do is ride it out until then."

Then there's the people who tell others to hodl for their own selfish reasons.  They want everyone else to hang on so that there's less sell pressure while they unload their own bags.  These are usually the people who keep parroting the whole "buy the dip" nonsense, even when anyone with an ounce of sense can see that the price is still too high.

With that said, at some point, the bottom will be reached.  If you think that we're still a ways off from that point, then of course it makes sense to sell now and rebuy later like you suggested.  Don't get mad if you guessed wrong and end up losing out.  Cheesy  Just remember, fortune may favour the bold but being bold is often foolish.
Good point but keeping that in mind will keep you from losing more money in the long run. If you're actually sure that the coin you are holding will surely recover and rise again as past charts shows, then it is better to hold it out so that you will have no regrets later on. I'm not sure about any other coin but if we're talking about Bitcoin or ETH, then they are sure to recover from this downtrend like what it is doing now.
