181  Economy / Speculation / Re: um.. why is the price going up? on: February 19, 2016, 05:48:12 AM
Hope this increase keeps up. I figure the halving really is a major factor in this. Nevertheless, woot for the price increase.
182  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: February 19, 2016, 05:46:43 AM
Heartbreaking losing your BTCs over dice, gambling and what not. Wish I could have just bought things on the market section.
183  Other / Off-topic / Re: My life on: February 19, 2016, 05:45:51 AM

184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Most paying signature campaigns? on: February 19, 2016, 05:44:35 AM
In my opinion yobit pays the best they have a very good system of updating their members earnings and you can cash out your earnings from the campaign yo your yobit wallet and from your yobit wallet to your bitcoin wallet..
I think the system is great and hassle free for campaign managers and posters

Yep. I tried other signature campaigns. But Yobit, other than it paying decent, seems to be the most stable ever there is. You should try Yobit.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: February 19, 2016, 05:43:41 AM
It is down to you what you can save and keep safe in precious metals, homes to hopefully become mortgage free and rely on nobody. I have savings but I would rather put into Bitcoin than put into retirement/pension that someone else controls and feeds from.
Even I know more options for my retirement planning like gold, real estate or bank deposit and saving or stock market investments or insurance I strongly believe only with the bitcoin to secure my life after retirement.

Yep. Same here. There are a lot of investments out there. As the saying goes, dont put all your eggs in one basket. I personally have plans to go for gold and real estate. Given this, I will still never go of Bitcoin. I still have a feel that this would profit big sooner or later.
186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Solar array starting to look good. on: February 19, 2016, 05:42:21 AM
Very cool! People should really take such things seriously. This would be a worth investment for the government, if only they have realized this.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is "outdated", the blockchain is the "new Bitcoin" on: February 19, 2016, 05:40:23 AM
Blockchain is an excellent technology that bitcoin has introduced to the world. but by all means bitcoin is not outdated no matter how media tried to kill it.

additionally hundreds and hundreds of Altcoins have proven that blockchain technology alone is not going to lead to their success, just check out all the dead altcoins over the years and the rest is dying too.

Very true. The number of altcoins that had died will prove how Blockchain alone can't sustain the market. Bitcoin has always been there for years, and yes, some Altcoin might claim that they have an edge over Bitcoin. Bitcoin still is the most renowned cryptocurrency ever there is.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 18, 2016, 02:47:46 PM
Find another way other than gambling to entertain yourself like TV or an online game or something, Try to avoid anything related to gambling too.

Yep. This is the only way to go actually. You have to replace a habit with another habit. There is no other way to beat it.
189  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 18, 2016, 02:46:31 PM
Im not using my bitcoin actively in spending but for rotating it in some exchanges sites.

Good thing my real life job pays me well that I don't need to use my bitcoin in some of real life purposes.

Haha. Same here. Bitcoins to me actually is more of a hopeful opportunity in the future. I dont really use it to buy stuff online, well not yet atleast.
190  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: INSURED BANK OF BITCOIN - The bank you have alwais wanted on: February 18, 2016, 02:45:46 PM
What is the use of a BTC bank, if you have your own wallet as your bank. Fail scam attempt.

Hahaha. This is actually a good point! But if you think about it, banks have a way of profiting from the money you save in them in return of keeping your money safe for you.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 18, 2016, 02:44:39 PM
Nope. all people will need bank.
how important it is when one large people such as George Soros pull all their money out of the bank, the currency of a country could be faltering you know

I think the big investors do not need the bank, they have places to invest their money. Ordinary people need the bank.

Exactly. And majority of the population will always be "ordinary" people. BTC will be taken seriously sooner or later. But i dont think it will come to a certain extent that it will be the only currency system there will ever be.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibly Hacked on: February 18, 2016, 02:42:08 PM
It is not good to be hacked. That is very bad. But you must secure your stuff good with good passwords.
I think you should not tell everyone what you have. Otherwise they are interested in you and then you will going to hack you.

While hacking is not a simple task. I must agree that it can actually be that simple if you dont protect your user credentials your passwords emails etc. You can't really trust anything nowadays you now.
193  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: February 18, 2016, 02:41:01 PM
Its now not a time to sell, but it is now a time to invest in Bitcoin. I think that will be better for your money.
The value is now low so why do you want to sell it. If you invest now then you have a higher chance that you can make profit.

people have different reasons for selling their coins. it's not always that they sell because the price reached a high price level. some people sell because they have to. they need the money in their private life to pay bills for example. and you have also panic sellers that sell because they can't handle the volatility. and other people sell their coins directly to fiat because they are not interested in having any coins. plenty of different reasons.

That to me sounds a crime on its own - dont sell your BTCs! No not just yet. People here are actually trying to lay their hands on more BTCs. And there's a reason for this. Trust me. Wink
194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that God exists on: February 18, 2016, 02:39:41 PM

Ok, let me tell you something.
We are discussing here a topic. The spirits might be raised a bit. But no one's making war. If we were in the same room no one would do anything else except to discuss. At least that's what we atheists would do. And I think the other guys will agree with me.
Live long and prosper Smiley

Well talk for yourself. Me I'd maybe try to burn them you know Grin

Haha. I guess I have to agree with him. To each is his own?

I am full member and being in this community from 2.5 yrs approx.
Have you missed this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1359605.0
I think there is still free slot available try and enroll yourself

Its only for New or Senior Member. Not for Full Member at present.  Sad

We have opened it for full members also Smiley

Regards
Mahin
Zebpay

But the problem with your signature campaign is only users who have smartphones that can only join because you will be giving the payment in your site zebpay and that is only for mobile users. Users who dont have smartphones only desktop, this is very bad luck for them.

i dont know maybe they can emulate android in pc.. use a number and do it ?  or use someone else who has android mobile.. and post on their behalf.. split the money etc.. many ways

It's not a bad idea actually, but if you think about it, this sounds complicated already. There would be a lot of loopholes into it trying to emulate Android on PC.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big banks creating Bitcoin alternative on: February 18, 2016, 02:37:08 PM
Cryptocurrency is getting bigger and more popular now than ever.

It's a no brainer if Banks want to make one aswell.

Actually yea. But on a bigger picture this is very good news to all of us. This to me sounds a big value hike for BTCs.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: new to bitcoins. need help on: February 18, 2016, 12:16:56 PM
Maybe it is only 200mBTC... Since 1 BTC is about $415 now, 200mBTC = 0.2BTC is only about $83.
You must recieve 200mbtc not 200 btc, but having 200mbtc is also a good thing. You can start with a good way with these 200mbtc, Welcome to bitcoin world!

Welcome to the Bitcoin world indeed. With 200 BTCs you will be anyone's bestfriend. Lol. Check out the beginner's section, there's great info there.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google developers about Bitcoin: "The revolution of crypto currency" on: February 18, 2016, 12:15:58 PM
Now it will not be helped anymore. The media sooner or later will have to take Bitcoin seriously. Guess it's very true how it will revolutionarize the whole idea of currency systems.
199  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Listahan ng mga Bitcoin-Related Pinoy websites on: February 18, 2016, 12:10:49 PM
Have never tried any online transactions with BTCs. Lalo na sa mga pinoy merchants.
But seriously, thanks for this post sir NLNico.
