181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Polkadot and Uniswap Survive? on: August 17, 2021, 10:08:34 AM
Polkadot and Uniswap are both present in the crypto market in 2020. As a relatively new coin in the market, many are asking and thinking whether they will survive in the midst of the great old coins?
In January 2021 Uniswap slowly rose in price from $4.9. While Polkadot also experienced an increase in the same month and year by $5. The market continues to run and they are also holding on to prices not much different (Polkadot $27, Uniswap $29). Their rankings on the coinmarketcap list are also close together (DOT #9, UNI #11).

Let's discuss

what is the reason that makes you think these two coins have a chance of not surviving?
although these two coins are relatively new in the market, but know that top-ranked coins can withstand any trouble. so DOT and UNI will still survive, it's just that in the future their position may change. for example ripple(XRP), this coin has a lot of problems but see what happens. XRP still survives, as well as DOT and UNI later. when a coin is in the top coin list, this will make their position very strong.
182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: They say buy the dips...but how do you know the dip has bottomed out? on: July 26, 2021, 02:06:37 AM
using Fibonacci, you can see support and resistance points. if you trade short term, you must be familiar with this indicator. if the price has touched or is approaching the support point, that's the right time to buy. you could say it was a dip for a short period of time.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: July 25, 2021, 04:58:14 AM
I am very happy to see people that support Bitcoin, I have been reading lately about the Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey. Not more than few days ago that Jack Dorsey said Square is building a new division that will focus on building decentralized finance (DeFi) services that utilize the Bitcoin network. He believes in Bitcoin and how it can be the native coin of Twitter.

Referring to Bitcoin as a native currency of the internet, Dorsey described opportunities to integrate BTC into existing Twitter services including commerce, subscriptions and new features such as Twitter Tip Jar and Super Follows.

The CEO explained to investors that a lot of Bitcoin-enabled innovation is “above just currency to be had,” as Twitter is committed to decentralize social media and provide more economic incentives. He noted that Bitcoin is one of three key trends for Twitter’s future alongside artificial intelligence and decentralization. “I think it’s hugely important to Twitter and to Twitter shareholders that we continue to look at the space and invest aggressively in it,” he said.

Dorsey emphasized that Twitter is not alone in its commitment to crypto, citing aggressive digital currency development by social media giant Facebook, which expects to pilot its Diem cryptocurrency later this year. But unlike Facebook, Twitter will one day focus on BTC as a native internet open standard. Dorsey stated:

“There’s an obvious need for this and appreciation for it. And I think that an open standard that’s native to the internet is the right way to go, which is why my focus and our focus eventually will be on Bitcoin.”

This is one of the man in the world that believe in decentralization and appreciative design of Bitcoin.

it's not surprising the statement came out of him, because from the start he was one of the people who supported bitcoin. if indeed the project became a reality, it would have huge potential. the combination of mainstream platforms with crypto will produce something extraordinary.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 25, 2021, 01:40:05 AM
but bitcoin and ethereum certainly will, and always have hope. that's why instead of filling the bag with lots of coins that have no certainty. I prefer to hold ETH and BTC. for other altcoins it is better to buy when the price really has a sign to go up.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Twitter has full control of the Bitcoin market by banning Elon Musk on: July 24, 2021, 12:38:25 PM
but not only on twitter Elon Musk can express his opinion. there are still many ways, so even though his account is suspended, he still has various ways to spread his influence. so the twitter CEO doesn't have the power to make elon stop saying anything about crypto.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: am i the only one expecting the market to be worse than this? on: July 23, 2021, 12:00:32 PM
I know in the future there will be another bull run. I also know bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and all the top ranking altcoins will create new ATH. that's why now i hope the market gets worse than this so i can buy cheaper. and the current situation supports my expectations.

i will buy when bitcoin is under 20k. I will also buy when ethereum has fallen below 1k. when bnb goes back to $100 i will buy it too. before that happens I will not buy.

and I will continue to pray for the crypto market to collapse. when that happens I will come to the market and spend my savings to buy

look at the market today, and you'll regret thinking that the market was going to get any worse. all crypto coins started to recover their price. although slow but it looks very strong. and the situation slowly improves and all your hopes will not come true. so it's better to buy btc and ethereum now, because the target you want to achieve will not be realized.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 22, 2021, 02:46:17 PM
I don't really count in percentages, but my current portfolio is worth around 20k. That's almost 6 months of my salary. I don't have much capital to invest in crypto, because basically crypto is not my main choice to earn money. This investment is like emergency storage in case of need. for now i only hold btc, eth and some other big coins in my portfolio.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELON MUSK, JACK DORSEY, CATHIE WOOD TO DISCUSS BITCOIN Today! BTC up or down? on: July 22, 2021, 11:53:57 AM
the market is pretty good today. since the discussion started until now bitcoin seems to be trying to recover the price. and some of the big altcoins are also green. ethereum returns to 2k, and top-ranked altcoins are on the rise. although not very big, the impact of their discussions made the market better.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: July 21, 2021, 04:20:43 PM
the closest is probably BNB. and below it may be Polkadot, and Cardano. These three Dapps platforms are predicted to be serious challengers to ethereum. and maybe in the future it will be the next ethereum. look at today's BNB, I'm sure that possibility could be real. if these three projects can be consistent for a long time, maybe they can be the next ethereum.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 21, 2021, 12:32:47 PM
I'm still not sure bitcoin can fall like that. because if you look at the bitcoin support point, it is at 30k. and it lasted quite a while, even after the china ban the prices stayed there. now the effects of all that have begun to fade. so there is no more reason to make bitcoin fall any deeper. unless something else bad happens to the bitcoin market. if that happens then the price of bitcoin could fall below 20k. and that would make the altcoin market very scary.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: July 20, 2021, 02:55:29 AM

I want to know how I can determine / what kind of questions I should be asking to know if its a real 100x token? Any advice?

ask about the development funds they get, where they are kept, and what they will do next. don't forget to check the background of each development team. do not easily believe the words they say, and always pay attention to every thing. because scam projects usually look promising at first.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America Approves Bitcoin Futures on: July 18, 2021, 01:50:36 PM
The second largest bank in the United States, has approved bitcoin futures trading for some clients, using CME contracts. Meanwhile, in 2018, Bank of America banned financial advisers from trading Bitcoin and related contracts.
In my opinion, I have the belief that in the future many banks will accept similar transactions of this valuable cryptocurrency.
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/bank-of-america-approves-bitcoin-futures-trading-for-some-clients%3A-sources-2021-07-16

I see the possibility is very high. because Currently, there are many banks that provide similar services. and it will continue to grow in the future. if they don't do it will slowly be abandoned. that's why banks are starting to open up to crypto especially bitcoin.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 18, 2021, 10:06:02 AM
Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.

The USA will not do that. although sometimes their policies are considered bad for the crypto market. they will not ban crypto completely. but if that happens, then how severe the impact?. I imagine it will be very bad. maybe twice as bad as the china ban. because the crypto trading volume in the country is one of the largest. so it would be very impactful if it suddenly disappeared. there will be very severe crashes. maybe the crypto market will collapse and it will take a very long time to recover.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: July 17, 2021, 02:38:01 PM
prefer to starve just to hold Bitcoin. this is the dumbest choice i have ever heard. Humans can die of starvation. So forget about investing, one needs to eat to survive. There will always be second chances, as long as you are alive and you can buy bitcoin again next time.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most centralized cryptocurrency? on: July 17, 2021, 01:59:20 AM
The most centralized project today is XRP. this altcoin is really bad, nothing even worse than this coin. I'll bet that XRP is the worst shitcoin. XRP was created only to enrich its developers, for no other purpose than that. the reason why this coin is still at the top, is because XRP is one of the oldest coins and has great exchange support. if problems like the beginning of last year re-occur in the future. then this coin will be die.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptophobia, causes, effects and solution. on: July 16, 2021, 03:09:58 PM

Solutions:
1. Victims needs to be taught cryptocurrency from the scratch, expose them to crypto videos and audio. Show them testimony of people who became very rich from cryptocurrency. This is mindset re-orientation. Making them to invest small and have small profit will surely be a behavioral therapy.
Thank you all!

it's the best way to get people excited about trying to invest in crypto. but very difficult to do. need more effort to restore their enthusiasm for crypto. because those who have a phobia will find it difficult to accept it. they will always have thoughts about risk and are ultimately afraid to re-invest.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: July 16, 2021, 12:21:53 PM
As, we know that Btc & ETH are the top two Crypto in the market but I am confused why Elon interested in Dogecoin?
he is not interested in this coin. he only saw an opportunity to earn money from this coin. just look at each tweet is always changing. and it becomes a solid fact that he is trying to manipulate her. and now he's starting to look at other meme coins like babydoge or shiba inu. and this will continue, so don't think he is interested in any of the crypto coins.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: July 15, 2021, 04:53:02 PM
no, crypto will not trigger the next financial crisis. decentralization prevents all of that from happening. The financial crisis that occurred in the past is the fault of the current banking system. centralized system that makes it happen. so the chances are very low if you think cryptocurrencies can cause a financial crisis.re.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Whale hoards bitcoin, will the market run out of BTC to buy? on: July 15, 2021, 07:37:09 AM
literally, yes. but the market is not that simple. there will always be people who want to sell when something is very scarce. they will not stand still to see the big profit. that's why even though in the end the amount in circulation decreased a lot, because many were hoarding. btc will not disappear from the market. btc will always be there to trade.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankers staking ETH 2.0? on: July 14, 2021, 01:19:16 PM
adoption is good, but this is a worries for the future. indeed there is a possibility that if many banks provide eth 2.0 staking services, the ethereum network will be easy to control. they can influence the blockchain by using their customer stake. if that happens then ethereum has become centralized.
