181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [ASK] 100 Merit On Some Member on: July 09, 2018, 10:12:15 PM
Good night everyone.
I'm just curious why some member got 100 Merit instan? Are it's random given by the admin or when the post reach about 250-300 Post/Activity?
Bcos when I click the user profile, I don't see where they receive that merit :/

As example i will post some member profile (sorry for tagging)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1118745
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1176759
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1168605
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1029944
About the system of merit and rules, everything is described above, so i will not comment on it. I see that you too are Jr.Member with a high number of posts - just like me, nothing but writing quality posts does not remain to us and hoping for a reward in the form of merits from other people. Sometimes quality is more valuable than quantity.

183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Controlling Bitcoin on: July 08, 2018, 10:38:09 PM
There were times when nobody cared about Bitcoin. It was a new idea that was primarily used by IT enthusiasts. Bitcoin's rocket growth, as well as adoption and mainstream adoption, led governments - and banks, governments, regulators and technology giants - to a very nervous and impulsive response. These reactions, however, only confirmed the fact that Bitcoin is a legitimate threat to them. However, the progress will not stop, and banks with the support of state regulation have enough reason to be nervous. There are countries where tax is paid from cryptocurrencies such as Japan or South Korea. There is also a possibility where Individuals can now enter direct peer-to-peer trustworthy exchanges with strangers, and i do not see the possibility of regulation there.
184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the difference between Air drop and Bounty ? on: July 06, 2018, 11:13:28 PM
Airdop is a short-term assignment, usually very simple, for example, to subscribe to social networks or leave a comment on some site. Bounty is a long-term assignment, where you have to spread out the project every day, write articles, be members of the project team.
Airdrop is never about assignment... this is a misconception
ICO often mislead people by saying Airdrop but actually they are just doing bounties!

Airdrop = free distribution to attract/adopt more users, sometime requires minimal conditions (no required work)
Bounty = paid assignment to market product or service, main purpose is to get investors
This topic is very up-to-date because users of both options can get a certain amount of coins from the organizer of the project. Exactly you define it and that's it.
185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie on: July 05, 2018, 09:14:46 PM
Gloria Uc hi and welcome to the bct. For a particular airdrop, you are mostly registered through the google form, where you have to enter your personal data, for example - email, bct name, wallet address. Also, if the airdrop rules require, you must have a twitter account, facebook account or telegram account. In the field of cryptocurrencies there is plenty to learn, especially if you are a newbie, either complete the basics to the most demanding tasks. It always depends on what you need to know. I recommend searching through google and also through youtube tutorials.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The root of newbies problem on: July 05, 2018, 07:16:26 PM
I also agree with the statements of the creator of this topic. I was also a Newbie, who was not, but i sometimes have the impression that the topic names are often repeated and the same questions are being created. There is a clear need to learn about the crypto-world and the basics of it, there is very much about it on the Internet. If I remember my beginnings, i learned from various forums and very helpful to me was Mr. Google. Also, this forum has a broad dimension, so where to acquire new knowledge.
187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brand new user on: July 03, 2018, 08:00:34 PM
Hi Iqbaalkhaan and welcome to the crypto world, to begin with, you should learn the basics of the crypto world like blockchain, altcoins, tokens, crypto exchange, wallet, buy, sell and so on. Bitcoins you can get from trading on various exchanges like binance, bittrex and i do not mention them further, is their countless quantity. You can also buy it and have it either in software wallet, in a currency exchange or in a hardware wallet. One piece of advice, keep your Bitcoins always properly secured. There is so much you have to learn, so read a lot and start doing step by step and no doubt you will learn it.
188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Advise on: July 02, 2018, 09:47:35 PM
Certainly it is not possible, today is mining btc on asic devices and they are all farms on it. In any case, the price of hardware and the price of electricity is worth something. For the day, you would have to have 4800 Th/s of computing power to get around $ 3000 in two days minus electricity and ASIC price. And I'm not even talking about the price of either the bitcoin miners bought or the price leased. So, for that idea, you better forget and start to look in the real way. From day to day being rich is very difficult. I recommend you to be patient and the result of your work will come.

190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start trading? on: July 01, 2018, 07:49:43 PM
Trading with cryptos is relatively simple. To enter the world of trading, you only need the following three things:

1. Buy some cryptos - the ideal bitcoin - you can buy in the street from an unknown person - https://localbitcoins.com, from an ATM - in every big city you can find several bitcoin ATMs or a regulated exchange. All methods have their pros and cons.
2. Create a exchange account - Binance, Kucoin, GDAX, Bittrex or Kraken. Verification is also usually required.
3. Learn Trade - With the simple Buy and Sell you start trading. Learn the act of trading will take the rest of life.

If you are a complete beginner, i recommend you a lot to read and learn here in the forum, or the Internet is full of these topics. I also recommend that you safely back up your capital.

Airdrop listings:

WTF is an Airdrop? A Detailed Guide to Free Cryptocurrency: https://hackernoon.com/wtf-is-an-airdrop-a-detailed-guide-to-free-cryptocurrency-e70e8777dd83
I did not know about these two airdrop websites at all. It is nicely divided - LATEST AIRDROPS - HOTTEST AIRDROPS - EXCLUSIVE AIRDROPS. The second site is also very helpful.
Mostly i use the Announcements thread here, or some group telegram with this topic. From today, i also use the two you mentioned. Thank you.
192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which wallet saport ERC 20 token on: June 28, 2018, 09:53:41 PM
If you plan to participate in some ERC-20 token bounties, for example in ICO programs, you will probably need an ERC-20 token wallet. The most popular and safest of wallets supporting ERC-20 is MyEtherWallet. Always make sure you're on the correct URL: https://www.myetherwallet.com/ otherwise you may come across phishing. MyEtherWallet is simple, and i believe you will learn to work with it quickly. You will be rewarded with a high level of security that you only have in your hands and pleasant anonymity.
193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies on: June 27, 2018, 08:46:33 PM
It's a shame you have an account created after June 1, because it's one of the conditions for the privcy signature campaign. However, you can participate in other social networking bounties such as Twitter Campaign, Facebook Campaign, Telegram Campaign or Youtube / Blogging / Article Campaign. Also, as a newbie, you can participate in the SocialChains signature campaign https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4546051.0. You just have to search and you will find it at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0.
194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too many altcoin on: June 26, 2018, 09:15:03 PM
Not really.

99% of every altcoin and ICO will not survive in the long run because most of them:

1. Are a money grab scheme;
2. Are useless;
3. Don't have a working product;

I'm pretty sure 99% of every coin in the Announcements (Altcoin) board front page right now are going to die in the next few years.

Do you want to gamble and try to catch a pump? Sure. But if you want to be part of the revolution, stay with the top coins and a few others with true potential.
I completely agree with this view. Up to 99% of the coins do not die in a few years, but even within a few months. And I'm not talking about the coins sold in the presale and admin has also evaporated with the money collected.
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie!! on: June 25, 2018, 10:13:21 PM

Signature campaigns for your rank Newbie is a little like saffron. Mostly at least Jr.Member must be. You can try the PRIVCY campaign. You only need to have more points of activity and more precisely 28+. Here is a link to the project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4503790.0
On this thread, you also have a link to the discord group where you have more information for registration.
196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe storage of data. GUIDE on: June 25, 2018, 09:08:20 PM
Longer period of time i try to keep data safe  and today i found this tutorial. I'm glad there is such a thing to secure and create an encrypt data repository. Well instructions described in detail. From the main page i downloaded the Portable version. I tried this software with a new USB key and moved sensitive data there. I assume i no longer have to worry about misusing my data in case of usb key loss. Thank you.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 btc stolen on: June 22, 2018, 02:55:50 PM
If you have experienced an unpleasant thing like the loss of bitcoins from your account, I suggest you contact Binance Support. All these things can only be solved by their departments. I do not know if your account was protected with 2FA protection. I also have a similar experience, but with other stock exchanges. I did not spend a lot of money, just a few dollars, so I left it so. But in your place, at a sum such as 5 bitcoins, I would be working on it further.
198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a token ? on: June 21, 2018, 12:30:45 PM
If you are interested in token airdrops, you should know what the tokens are. There are currently more than 140 Tokens, and most of them are running on the Ethereums blockchain. Tokens represent a specific asset or tool usually found at the top of another blockchain, for example, at Ethereum blockchain. These are the ERC20 tokens. There are also NEP-5 tokens. NEP-5 tokens are tokens that run on NEO blockchain network. For these two types of tokens, there is the Infinito Universal wallet.

Hello friend Mthemillionaire23, welcome to the forum, try to write articles and increase your Newbie status to a higher rank. There are many subgroups where you can learn many new things from the world of cryptos. Begin to be interested in basic concepts such as wallet, currency exchange, trading security, and so on. Read and learn. If you need to advise, it is enough to write what is unclear to you, and you will certainly be advised by many experts.

Thanks a lot!

By the way, I would like to share with the community my university project for input.

Its an Ethereum ERC20 based paltform business model, we are proposing both crytocurrency and ICO for funding.

Which is the best forum / sub-forum to do it?

Many thanks.
First of all, hello and welcome a new member. This forum provides a myriad of information and a lot of experienced members who'll be glad to help in any problem.

For ERC20 tokens there is the following section: Tokens (Altcoins)
Announcement threads for tokens: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0

If your project will include a bounty program so here is a sub-forum for BOUNTIES: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
