181  Other / Meta / Re: Merit survey for the better on: February 26, 2018, 07:50:33 AM
Simply how could a survey like this would derive a problem about the merit system.
I am pretty sure that most of the users here in the forum are still against the new system since it freezes many of the accounts especially for noobs that could not actually participate in campaigns they wanted. Leaving them with more issues about it.
Also, I don't think survey would be accurate because some of the users here in the forum might be alts. I just don't know how much of the whole population here in the forum is a single account user.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: February 25, 2018, 10:41:51 PM
Well that is a good concern. I am a student and I feel that doing school and cryptocurrrncies is stressful.
But in my opinion, students likely get involve because of the financial assistance and less about further development.
As a suggestion, try to consult them. Working and learning don't complement each other much. If they are really determined to finish their studies, financial support is not the only thing they need but also cooperation in class.
Even if they have enough money to support their studies, they won't pass their subjects if they will continue that kind of attitude.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: February 25, 2018, 10:32:10 PM
Well, the fact  that technology runs most of what's in our world, it's not surprisingly true that bitcoins and other cryptos makes life more exciting, systems are more fast and convenient and no doubt that it is indeed agreat creation.

But if you could still think beyond this, life wouldn't be that boring.
Enjoying nature and the environment and socialising is still better.

If we try to think about it, sometimes this industry isolates an individual to a crowd.
There is much more than sitting alone and earning at some point you know.

If bitcoin is gone, I still have my family and friends, I have my career. I will still be happy.

https://blockgeeks.com/cryptocurrency-safe/

This link can give you basic knowledge about hardwallets and which are recommended.

In my opinion, it's not about the amount of bitcoins that you will be keeping but it's about how much capital you have invested. If you have put a huge amount of money, then it's enough reason for you to store it in the safest place you can think about.

It's security is much more reliable than any wallets. Just keep your private keys safe too. Don't ever forget or lose it. Or your coins will never be retrieved.

188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: February 20, 2018, 05:30:49 AM
I'm quite tired of hearing the same FUDs all over again. Maybe that the reason why higher ranks are not giving merits or simply reviewing posts here in bitcoin discussion thread. Some just spam threads for the reason that what they are going to say is a current event related to the topic. Some just make new threads but already given.
I just don't know how things will be more interesting around here.
The common issue nowadys is the merit system here in the forum.
And banning in different countries. What's new then ?
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin effect on our future? on: February 19, 2018, 11:05:39 PM
Most say bitcoin is the future of payment system. Indeed this is too early to make sure of. But it is and still a great piece of technology. However, early stages flaws can already be detected. It may be have good or bad effects.
It may lead to termination or simply improvement of the digital currency.
In general, it is a good technological advancement. I think there is more to it in the future. I might as well as hope for development than fear changes.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ? on: February 19, 2018, 10:40:41 PM
I think this year growth will be a healthy one. With much issues and debate by the end of last year, surely steps relating to cryptocurrencies are going to be secured and safe.
Skyrocketing of prices may sound good but can't be assured.
After the correction I think everything will get better again.
Speculating is quite interesting involving the factors. It is crucial for everyone especially tonthe users greatly affected by crashes.
Hopefully, there is more on good than bad effects.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 19, 2018, 01:11:16 AM
Well I hold my coins. Not selling them when I do not have to. I do cryptos for new infos and some few bucks. I think that's the main purpose of using alts- to lessen fees and for trading since that it's cheaper and easier to use than bitcoins. Risks are quite low.

I think people sell because they use alts as simply for alternative. They don't actually trust it as a storage instead they make money then transfer it in a wallet which they really want.
They don't see the value if altcoins because they are blinded by the bitcoins prices
192  Other / Meta / Re: Delete unmerited massages on: February 18, 2018, 04:14:42 AM
Hello everyone

Due to the fact that without enough merit we couldn't rank up to Legendary in the future.
So, to avoid trash massages it is applicable to delete own unmerited massages or not.?

In simple logic if I'm not mistaken message without merit is not qualify to called it quality post.

In my own observation this forum system is full of meaningless discussion. Only few is meaningful.
Nothing is exempted. Everyone contributes useless massage.

Without any kinds of merit motives we know the fact that we have our own garbage.
But if you think this massage is helpful why not merit.

I agree with Jet Cash and Darkstar_.

Also, mods are already doing their jobs in trashing useless threads.
Thinking that you are new, you probably haven't experienced it before. Activities and post counts are decreasing and many are fired up because of it.
Your suggestion will definitely go that way too.
There are so many threads about merits today since it was just implemented recently.
Merits are just trending nowadays, maybe if another set of rules will come up, it will be another reason for people to demand to just set everything the way it was used to be.

But I'll give you a thumbs up for trying  Wink
Learn more my friend.
193  Other / Meta / Re: A summon to all native or non native English speakers. on: February 18, 2018, 03:53:30 AM
Grammatical errors are common to many and it can't be avoided. You can't prevent someone pushing wrong letters in a keyboard, would it be an issue for you because they have spelled something wrong.
Also, fixing spellings and incorrect grammars won't lessen spamming and shit posting. In my opinion it will only lead to more of it.
The key to quality is reading more and asking questions. Though it's hard to cope up with grammar, try your best expressing your ideas based on researches and not just your emotions. More factual informations will be helpful.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Addiction or depression! on: February 17, 2018, 11:24:48 AM

There has been a lot of talk about crypto addictions and depression, sometimes resulting in suicide. Do you think it would be a good idea to create a forum for such kind of help or advice, where people can voice their fears or just be heard and supported.
Anything can be a source of addiction and depression. Both can actually occur in a single situation. Naturally, they are extreme emotions that are commonly tied up with each other.

The idea of a forum about health is interesting. Proudly, I'm in a field of medicine and glad that someone in such forum as this is concerned about those kind of cases.
Initiation is good. Also hoping about technological advancement related to health services.

That's good ideas but for right now we have the forum of digital currencies and the people can tell their feeling on here about the result of investment in digital coins, on bitcointalk we can share about our experience, suggesting of investment, tips and tricks to be sucessfull in digital coins, this forum is enough for us to tell our voice of fears and the other users will helps for the solutions.

Indeed. This is a digital forum and proposing something about such topics will only bring more spam threads. Advises are enough. Forum is pro freedom of speech but constructiveness and information is needed to provide quality to the forum to prolong it's services too.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: February 17, 2018, 11:12:30 AM
Well, do not assume that bitcoin directly makes alternative coins useless. Bitcoin actually started before they were even created. Devs should have thought about it before.
There will always be an imbalance between Bitcoin and altcoins eventhough they have nearly same media exchanges. As bitcoin started earlier, it is used as the medium of exchange which will likely to have more benefits than alts. It will be more useful because it is more widely accepted and it will not end as it has a network effect.
It can grow and attract users more  because it has larger market by a huge margin that makes it more effective to act as a currency.
196  Other / Meta / Re: How to get free merit on: February 16, 2018, 09:12:18 AM
It's good to see how some people are considerate and show affection on how to help others to gain merits.
But as others have said. This is just another duplicate topic. It is not needed anymore.
And what gets me a bit angry is that you got 50 merits for it which might be better if this merits are distributed to newbies who really deserved even a portion of that amount.
I am not accusing you but I also feel that that account is an alt.
197  Other / Meta / Re: Need a help to earn merits on: February 16, 2018, 05:03:56 AM
Asking for merit won't help you either. Instead you might get negative feedbacks or even get banned for it.
I know how you feel for real. I should have ranked a week ago but haven't complained about it because I know this system will bring quality to our forum too. It can actually extend it life through its function.
Indeed it's hard but if you try to think about it it's a good thing. If we work hard and get something in return, we know that we deserved it.
Try reading a lot first. I have reviewed some of your post and you need to improve. Be patient and it will all turn out good.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty for beginers on: February 16, 2018, 04:46:32 AM
how to play in bounty for beginners

Obviously, you are pertaining to yourself when you say " for beginners " .
And as for information, bounties can be specified. It's about activities you do with social media. It can be in facebook, Twitter, or in instagram.

Hopefully, you can construct good and informative posts to upgrade you rank and be able to join bounties. Somehow try to contribute. You don't need to be famous just to rank up. Everyone is being encourage to fulfill things here.
Also, your rank in this forum can also be used as access to join more activities and if you will work hard, you might earn trust too.

199  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Psychological problems due to Crypto. on: February 16, 2018, 03:18:00 AM
Guy, your psychological problems are not due to crypto. They have always been there.. Before you were in crypto you were lazy, did nothing and didn't care about yourself. This is depression and that leads to other mental illnesses.

You need to go talk to a professional and work together to find medication that will help. With the right meds you'll think and act like a normal person. Life will be much easier to cope with.

Good luck.

I agree and it should not be blamed in cryptos. Depressions can occurs pertaining to anything. The thing is you just happen to see great potential, got obsessed with it, had losses and worried too much.
It's really up to your ability in handling such situations.

Hopefully,  you can lessen your stress not just in cryptos but in other things too.
