181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 16, 2015, 09:19:29 PM
It seems bitcoin didn't want to do much today.
And of course, as I'm typing this, it begins to show movement...  Roll Eyes Grin
Watching from the sidelines, boys! Have fun.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Let Anyone Tell You Satoshi's Identity is NOT Important on: February 16, 2015, 06:07:33 PM
Satoshi is not a single person. Satoshi is the "identity" of a billion-dollar multiple-year plan to have authority over ALL the money on the world.
When all fiat is converted to BTC, we've lost.

It's just a theory, though, and I don't believe in it myself.
Still an interesting predicament.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where Will Bitcoin Be In 2 Years? on: February 16, 2015, 06:00:18 PM
Next two years will be most important for Bitcoin. We will see that decentralised exchanges, new regulations and hopefully lot of new services. If all that goes well, Bitcoin will take off in next years big time. Also, in my opinion, Bitcoin must become more simple to use and store before wider addoption.

The decentralised exchanges are a HUGE part of this, especially with the hacking and "hacking" going on.
What would make bitcoin simpler to use in your opinion?

185  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is a Bitcoin mining virus, more powerful than mining farms? on: February 16, 2015, 01:51:40 PM
For example a Bitcoin mining farm might have a few petahashes of mining power. Will a Bitcoin mining virus network have the same amount of power?

No. Couse viruses uses a cpu. And using cpu for mining btc is useless. But if this virus is used to mine some cpu coin then yes. Most of cpu coins is mined trought botnets.

Viruses can also use the GPU...  Roll Eyes

Bulls, somebody is calling you:

Hey. I don't own a lot of coins, at all. But I just want to know: why are the bulls and bears so childish to one another? Why do people resort to posting pictures like this?

Not attacking you, just observing.

192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 08:56:18 PM
They are buying tens of overpriced bitcoins at 3-5 dollar spread, while the marshals and the hackers are preparing to dump on their stupid heads in a matter of days. What goes through the mind of these delusional fucks will always be a mistery.

It could be that they simply don't know about that, and are just trading like it will not happen.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 08:42:51 PM

Thanks. It states that the last selloff was timed to avoid market disruption, though! So maybe they'll do that this time as well.

196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now 7000 btc will be dumped making the price go lower and lower! on: February 15, 2015, 08:29:55 PM
all those drop/hack/stolen coins at current value, will only make current value stronger, think about it, at the end the price will never go lower it

What exactly do you mean ? It is actually going lower.

no it's not, it's pretty stable at $230 since weeks already

Yeah, since January 15th or so. Big correction towards 230 now.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 07:57:37 PM
https://exco.in also pwned and out-of-business.

"February 6th and 10th, the user 'Ambiorx' was able to gain access to all the Bitcoins on the Exco.in exchange. As a result we no longer have the means necessary to continue operation and are deeply saddened to announce we will be shutting down operations this month. The trading engine has been disabled and Exco.in user accounts will remain active, with the exception of Ambiorx's account and those who may be affiliated."

Ambiorx didn't even steal anything, I believe. It was just crappy coding.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 07:30:10 PM
The bitcoins are still leaking away... We're going lower each day.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 07:19:06 PM
HUGE dumps. Hundreds of bitcoins at once.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 15, 2015, 07:14:51 PM
So, all the coins will eventually be mined, right? (What year was it again? I forgot...) And the only incentive to mine will be the fees.
How much would the fees be? They must be rather big to give enough incentive to mine...
