181  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: February 02, 2021, 01:09:30 PM
I don't believe this on the contrary, I believe btc has come to stay, but the probability o been replaced oil and gold is not what I'm certainly sure of. These two thing oil and gold are natural resources that has been from generation to another generation. 50 years ago nobody ever thinks we can have something called btc. What if another stuff is invented and probably competing with the current crypto of a thing. We need to look beyond the present things now.
Oil and gold has been the major such of generating income for governments of the world for a very long time now, and I do not see them going fully into it anytime soon. Even if some banks and government are secretly buying btc to keep.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: February 02, 2021, 12:58:52 PM
I'm sure if you are rich, you wouldn't ever think in such way how would you stand and let a police that will make the wealth you have worked for years be shared among the poor. We have to keep this kind of mentality away from us. You are probably working everyday to make an end meets. And after years of work and struggle and such a police is passed I'm sure you will do all you can to get that kind of police out with every power you have. The rich work for their money. We need right thinky mentality, to have a leveled up system. The government is doing less work to make life easy, these rich people are the one creating jobs throuy the businesses they have established. I'm not sure you think about that. What business can the poor create? If the money is shared among them, in no time the whole money will finish and everybody will be equal. All poor.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: February 02, 2021, 12:40:44 PM
This will be the most worst thing to happen if any right government is thinking of enforcing any lockdown right now. The world world at large and businesses are still thinking of how to get out of the mess covid-19 has put everyone into. In terms of global economy meltdown. And every business owners has had their share of this issue. As an entrepreneur and Cryptoprenuer this has reduced my business turn over for more than 6 months now. I think the best thing government can do now is to look for how they can come up with rules and regulations that can be enforced to create an enabling work place that can make people to contit their daily activities. You can ask people to stay home without doing anything, and you have not put in to place palliatives to support them through out this period. Another lockdown is not the best thing right now.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 31, 2021, 03:04:42 PM
When I started cryptocurrencies few years back. I was on campus then as an undergraduate. Combining studies and cryptocurrencies to together. I can still remember calling myself a Cryptoprenuer, and some of my coursemate will laugh at me. That, what's thing I said I'm doing. I was able to sponsor myself although my tertiary education with the help of the I made from the various job mainly cryptocurrencies. I started then as an airdropper, then graduate to bounty and later ambassador jobs. I do less of Trading. Only do so when the opportunity arises.
Its a really good one that we are seeing lot of people showing interest in cryptocurrencies. That's a good one for us all.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there nobody talking about DOGE? on: January 31, 2021, 02:53:18 PM
I know this came as a big surprise to all of us, myself couldn't have heard anything about the craze doge pump if not for few days ago that I came to check something on this forum. That was when I saw it, and it was to my advantage. I have had some doge coin I bought over a year on Binance. I just kept it there, hoping that one day it might come up. And when I checked 2 days ago. The price has jumped to almost 450% of the initial price. I waste no time I trade it immediately into a stable coin, transfer it out and cash out on it few minutes later. I was very happy, that I was able to recover some of the loses I had earlier trading btc. It was a good thing and good weekend for me here right now.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading DEFI vs Trading Older coins on: January 30, 2021, 02:27:10 PM
Either Defi or older coin, there is not coin you can't cash out on big time. Though, I personally have very little trust in this Defi craze. They can be so discouraging sometimes. While not let's generalized them and look forward to getting any one among them that when traded can give you something reasonable. Have not had luck with Defi coins before, so I stick to my older coins. Likes of BTC, eth, trx, XLM, BNB, ADA and lot of them. Do you guys noticed what is going on with DOGE COIN now. Who would have believe a shit coin like that can be doing so good lately. That's crypto for you, don't focus on Defi alone. There are more opportunities.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: January 30, 2021, 02:12:07 PM
I'm of the opinion that the first thing you do when you open a new wallet is to find out if the platform is secure. A stronger security will definitely put your mind at rest against any theft for your coins in the nearest future. Security matters a lot, just has every account details has its own way of securing it. I do not see why crypto own should be any different. In fact, the crypto security access should be very hard and strict. You know why, bcause it's all done over the internet. There are lot of hacks going on u and down. And one other thing that can secure your wallet too is never try to expose what you have in your wallet to anyone. It will be very hard for anybody to want to hack into what they don't know what's inside. By making sure your wallet address is secure too, it could also help in securing your account.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 30, 2021, 02:03:18 PM
This depends on some factors, and these factors has to be in place. To some extent, what you can gain Trading in just a day, you might not make in 2 years investment. Because you need to calculate the annual percentage that the return on investment will bring. But in Trading your profit are limitless. Depending on how good you are in trading. And if care is not takiy you can lose all your Investments in just a single day. Let me share something that would interest you, when I wanted to start trading. I had to go for some Trading, consult some guru who knows more about trading than I am. Since I'm just a beginner try to learn how to make money on Trading different currencies.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Dogecoin Goes High? on: January 29, 2021, 11:58:34 AM
To my surprise this morning, I want to check my Binance account asy custom is. Only to find out that my doge coin that worth less than $3 a month ago, has jumped to $42 worth. When I bought this coin few months ago, I just wanted to have other altcoins that was the main reason for keeping it. I have close to 5000 of it before by I sold some of it to be used as gas. Now I'm regretting Eve doing that. One thing about this coin is that it can't continue to go up like that. I believe in the next couple of days it will definitely return back to it normal price. Elon musk has done a good job by posting something about Doge which within 24 hours has given it over 204% increase.
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade after all time high on: January 29, 2021, 11:50:13 AM
The question here is that what entity do you want to trade? And when did you bought what you want to trade with. Most of the time we always to forget about some things that it is not all the time you trade. Sometimes, are for you to study the market, do your analysis and read news. Know what you are doing, don't start a trade based on your feeling and instinct alone, though they might be of help at times, but not all the time. When the time is high, relax and watch the way things will go so that you won't end up regretting initiating the trade. This is the most dangerous and difficult time to trade. Because any little mistake, you can lose all your Investments in few hours.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading site? on: January 29, 2021, 08:54:06 AM
I have trade on so many exchange before and I have had lot of experience, both good and frustrating one. Some exchanges having to hold your coin due insufficient gas fee or giving you the amount of coin their site can allow. This is the most annoying part of some Exchanges. But I have not come to put any Exchange on black book, but I will have to praise the only Exchange that has got my back all this while. At first I find it difficult to find my way around the Exchange but with time, I became a pro. Binance has always being my best Exchange of all time. Trading made simple both the desktop view and the mobile view. Kudos to them. When it comes to fee when making a transaction it normal too, aside for one day while trying to send btc out and the fee was around $8. And that has been resolved.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs eth on: January 29, 2021, 08:15:51 AM
That's was a very smart thing you did for yourself,  I must commend you for that. If you actually bought it a year ago, the price at as that time should be less than$12,000. And with the current price now you have made way more than 150% profit. One thing I know about the crypto market is the ups and downs. Things can't always be like this, the price has changed drastically within just few weeks, from around $41,000 plus down to $33,000. And of which it's still going down. It will be good if you can divide it into two and take out some part of it to enjoy yourself or probably invest into another thing or business to reduce the risks of having all your Investments in just one place. Or remove the whole profit that you have made and leave the initial investment that you started with. Enjoy yourself you have invested in the right time.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: January 29, 2021, 08:02:09 AM
This things are not really the way we are looking at it. One has to be financially stable before you can make such a decision. When I saw this, DON'T BUY WHAT YOU CAN'T HODL. It strike a chord, the purpose of buying is not really to hold for very long time depending on the kind of entities you purchased. But when you BUY today and the trade goes against your prediction, you don't have any other options than to wait for it to come back either go up or come down back to your prediction. And in the process of doing this, no one knows when it will takes. Sometimes, it can take weeks, months, even years. So if you want to buy make sure you are not buying with the last money you have with you, so you won't have to sell it while you have not make any profit.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: January 28, 2021, 11:07:05 AM
In my humble opinion,I do not think this could in the nearest future. Lot of resources has been pumped into Bitcoin for the past years and that makes it the centre of attraction for many investors. And no one will open their eyes and see that happens to Bitcoin anytime soon. I heard some government of many Nations including Africa invest so much in Bitcoin. I could not but wonder that the government is making use of the high boom in Bitcoin to boost their but local and foreign reserves. I hope to see a world of cryptocurrencies soon. When cash will be useless. The whole world will be running cashless economy. That will reduce crime rate. And the amount spend on printing paper money every year will be reduced.
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: January 28, 2021, 10:54:43 AM
Smile!!! I do not think there is any trader who has not had a share of loosing money while trading. My friend I and lost close to $1,500 in the space of just 25 days alone. We need money do badly, and we also want to make quick profit. We entered into multiple trade hopiy it will go in our favor, and the trades went otherwise. We refused to close the trade and take the lost, we were hoping the trade will later go up. And instead it kept going down. Until the account was closed down. I know this happens alot, cause that's what I personally refers to as learning period.
We have learnt the lesson of our lives with our hard earned money, but life continues. I just shared one way you can loose money while trading and I hope you guys can learn from my experience.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 28, 2021, 10:08:17 AM
Sometime, when I see this kind of questions. I always ask myself one thing why do we do what we do? What is the moral behind us starting it in the first place. You said and I quote "CAN I GET RICH BY TRADING". Let me answer your question first and give you my thought on this. Yes, you can make it big time on trading. But the secret to making it with Trading now depends on you. Have you done your assignment very well, to know those who have made it through Trading before? Do you have any of them that can mentor you on how you can make it and the rules and regulations. Tactics to use, when to trade, what to trade, when the signal is good, when to buy, when to sell. And what it takes to be a good trader. All of these questions you must be able to find answers to them before you set out to start trading. Else, you are ready for a doom.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 09:59:27 AM
Firstly, I will like to know if you know about the history of Bitcoin? How it got to where it was today with a worth of over $30k our present money. Convert that to any currency in the world, it is still money. Let me run a quick recap for you. This entity called Bitcoin, the father of all cryptocurrencies in the world today started with a price less than $1 even less than 20cents. Within the space of 11 years, that supposed 20cents has worth $30,000 today. If you can the calculation, that's more than 100,000% increment. The question is how long do you want to keep your Investment. Do you have pressing matters than needs financial attention urgently? If you don't leave your Investment for a long time so you can recover some of your loses and have more
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: January 27, 2021, 09:50:51 PM
I believe every nation have had its own share of the state of the hard times that we are going through as a whole. I could remember vividly that some of the things that you can easily purchased then, you dare not try it now, why because of the increment in price. The cost of transportation has double. Even of not by 150%, food too is part of it. What used to sustain a whole family for three months before can no long sustain them for a month. This period is really a hard one for the whole world. People are loosing their jobs and this is still going to continue, that's the part that sadden my heart. But I believe we are coming out of this hard time soon. We shall smile again.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: January 27, 2021, 09:11:19 PM
I'm coming across this for the first time. But they must be very smart for them to be able to carry out that kind of job. And one other thing I want to say is that if you are not a thief too, it will be very hard for you to call victim. Because you scam the wallet and you noticed a coin on it that worth something. For you mind, you want to transfer gas to move it out. The two of you are scammers . One is just smarter than the other one. Trying to do that alone makes you to a thief, and anything that happens along the line is your cup of tea alone.
