181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: October 04, 2017, 10:28:12 PM
It will depend upon the person using it.  Some uses it as an asset through investments, therefore they are using it as a tool to gain more returns.  While there others who are true believers of bitcoins vision that one day it will be used as a currency.  And it is indeed correct to claim that it can now be used as a currency since there is already a lot of transactions where you can use just like any other real world currency.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: October 04, 2017, 09:20:26 PM
As far as i know converting a cryptocurrency to another coin will not be charged with any tax since there is still no goverment around the world that has made a law with regards to charging tax on cryptocurrencies.  But whenever you will try to convert your coins into fiat then you will surely be charged with tax,  only if you have done it with legal exchanger though since im sure they are paying taxes to government.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: October 04, 2017, 01:13:51 PM
As of today i think this assumption is totally impossible from happening.  This could only happen if both the employer and employee will agree that bitcoin will be the means of their compensation which will then effectively reduce income tax gathered by government.  But this kind of situation will not happen right now since only a few or close to no one would accept bitcoin as salary because of its price volatility.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought my first DeepOnions on: October 04, 2017, 10:31:05 AM
I'm still can't believe they are not scam. BTW even if you want to buy some deeponion my advice is to do it at Friday-Saturday. Each friday they distribute current airdrop so price dumps pretty much.

You are right...
DeepOnion is not a scam and it has already proven it to all the fudders.
The community continues to develop every week along the additional features of the coin.
.
And i also agree with you when it should be best tp buy deeponion and that is a day or two after the airdrop has been sent.  Some of recipients are seeling the allowable 10% to be disposed.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 04, 2017, 10:00:32 AM
Check this site: https://www.airdropalert.com
.
They a very up to date entries when it comes to new airdrops coins.
A friendly advice though,  do your own research before you will apply for them.  Its free yes,  but better do what is necessary to protect yourself.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: October 04, 2017, 06:25:13 AM
In investing coins in ICO's there will always be a risk.  Aside from the most common of all which is the risk of being scammed there are also other factors that you need to watch for.  One of which is the rist in the coins price volatility,  no one can guarantee you that you will gain from investing in any coins.  All of the speculations are simply made by guessing but backed up by real research.
Therefore in order to succeed you must exert effort in reasearching anything about the coin you want to invest at.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth About BLOCKCHAIN on: October 04, 2017, 05:58:03 AM
For me the greatest innovation for this new millenium is the blockchain.
People mist now see its real potential,  it must not be restricted to cryptocurrency alone.
There are so much application wherein blockchain is truly beneficial. Corporations can make use of it in every way possible,  no more stacks of paper needed to be shown every auditing reports and more.
We just have to explore and make use of it.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is finding members for signature bounties getting harder and harder? on: October 04, 2017, 12:33:47 AM
It is really hard to find signature campaign participants today becaise of many reasons.  One of which is the time you needed to carry the signature,  since there are campaigns that requires you to carry their signatures for a a specific period of time therefore making it a hindrance for you to join other campaigns. Another reason is that most people who are willing to join such signature bointies are already part of existing campaigns.
This all makes participants for signature campaigns really scarce.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 12 of 40 Rounds on: October 04, 2017, 12:22:00 AM
Hi guys,

I'm trying to register at https://deeponion.org/  but when filling up the registration form, the message error says "Please enter a value that matches the required format"

What do you think is the problem with the fields that I'm trying to fill in.

It usually occurs on username and the bitcointalk id field.
.
It will be better if you could post screenshots of your entries.
Do you know where you can get your bitcointalk userid? You may be trying to input a incorrect userid.

190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: October 03, 2017, 10:42:48 PM
For me it doesnt really matter how someone would like to call bitcoin.
They may call it anything that they seem fit to call it,  it doesnt really matter because it wont affect the price of bitcoin.
As long they know how to use it and what it is for would be more beneficial than controling what they wanted to call it.
But if you really dont want someone valling bicoin as a token then i think you should start to educate them why itisnt fit to call it as token.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 10:20:45 PM
For me i am planning for a long term investments with bitcoin and oter cryptocoins.
I do not intend to convert any of my coins to fiat yet,  but instead whenever i have extra cash left i am investing them also to crytocurrencies.
I will be waiting for the near future wherein i can really say that i have gain more than enough from my engagement with cryptocurrencies.
Good luck to me and every HOLDER's out there.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 03, 2017, 09:01:54 AM
For me there is no one who can control whether bitcoins price will increase or decrease,  not unless there is a person which has a possession of a large amount of bitcoins.
And as for the prediction whether the price will increase or decrease i think it is also not possible.  You can only properly equip your self with sufficient knowledge so that your moves or decision will be based upon this and not just simply on plain guess.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In your opinion, whats wrong with the current Crypto-Community? on: October 02, 2017, 03:14:28 PM
If i were to answer your question,  I think the one of the problem that we have right now is the lack of initiative of some members to share their knowledge about cryptocurrencies to those who dont have any idea yet.  Because for me cryptocurrency will be able to prosper more if the number of its user will increase.  And this wont happen if not everyone of us will take part in the promotion of it.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 02, 2017, 10:36:53 AM
Amazing story.
This will only prove to every disbeliever about the usefulness of bitcoin in the real world. It is not only a thing that can be used through internet and online shopping but can now truly be used almost as a real money.
And i thank everyone responsible for its materialization.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 02, 2017, 10:14:09 AM
For me the situation wherein a certain coin can surpass the bitcoin's price in the future is simply impossible.
Bitcoin is now being looked upon by some people as jewelry that someone must possess.  And this adds to the reason why its price continuously grows despite all of the hindrances.
Therefore other altcoins may drastically increase in price but never to the point that it can surpass bitcoin.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 - ICO LIVE - 400% BONUS on: September 30, 2017, 10:37:16 PM
I have posted a question on the 45th page of this thread.  But until now i received no answers.
I'll reiterate it now hopefully somebody may answer it.
TO THE DEVELOPERS OR ANYONE WHO KNEW THE ANSWER....
.
Just wanted to ask.
Will it be ok if the address that i used for the genesis block for artemine contains other coins?
I have mne remaining on that address and some eth.
Will it just be ok if i leave them there or will it be better if i will transfer them to different address.
Thank you.

.
I just tried to transfer my remaining mne from the arte genesis address to new address,  but after 8 hours of waiting until this moment it is still processing the block.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto going mainstream? on: September 29, 2017, 10:10:52 PM
It is just a normal reaction of people to be skeptical with something that is new to them especially if it deals about money.  And eventhough bitcoins started for almost a decade now it is still something new.  Money or fiat that we are using today did not materialize in just a few years.  It has also endured a lot of years before it was accepted and that is what bitcoin undergoes too right now.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Voting with a Blockchain on: September 29, 2017, 03:56:14 AM
We may be having problem in here.
Since if the purpose of putting it to blockchain is to make the votes transparent and open to the public.  My question is how will we determine if the real person is indeed the one who casted their votes?  Another question;  are we going to assign a specific address for a certain person so that we will have a finite number of voters,  how can we be sure that the voters identity will reamin in secrecy?
There are so many if's and how's in this proposal.
But maybe one day it could be done for a freater benefit.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon May Accept Bitcoin By October. Do you believe? on: September 29, 2017, 01:00:06 AM
The article said it is just rumors.
But if ever it will come true it will surely give a huge impact to the promotion of bitcoin and all cryptocurrency in the whole world.
I am one of those who are very hopeful that it will come true.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if all countries shut down exchange trading like China? on: September 29, 2017, 12:16:27 AM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as whole will still work even withouth the exchanges.  Here the vision of cryptocurrency will truly be proven,  wherein peer to peer transaction will play a vital role.  You wouldnt need exchanger to do your conversion if you wanted to,  all you need to do is look for a person who will be willing to exchange your coins with fiat.
