181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: June 29, 2018, 02:48:35 PM
I really hope that it can happen earlier though although it's not wrong to predict that crypto is going to be accepted by shops by then. There's already a few shops that accept crypto and we will see more every year. Once crypto is widely adopted then most of our coins must be worth a lot so it's definitely a good idea to hold your coin until that time.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: June 28, 2018, 01:52:44 PM
Why do we need to diversify our holdings? why we just all in in one coin to have a one time bigtime profit.
You can have that kind of mentality but you should know better that if that one coin collapse then you will basically lose all of your money and it is not that hard to make a coin price drop that much, like nano about three months back, one exchange hack and it lose more than 50% of it's value so that's why it is important to diversify, to reduce the risk of your investment, it is also better to diversify on something beside crypto.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When the World Cup ends, will ETH and BTC rise? on: June 28, 2018, 01:32:41 PM
There's no connection between the price of crypto and world cup so there's no way that it will affect crypto that much. The price of crypto is mostly affected by economic situation in large countries where crypto trading is huge. There's some event that can bring a lot of money into crypto but world cup is certainly not one of them. Just hope that the price don't crash anymore, I am even fine with moving sideways for a year.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: June 27, 2018, 02:19:11 PM
In my opinion in five years there will be alt that will surpass bitcoin in term of marketcap, right now aside from store of value bitcoin offer nothing, there's a better alts for digital currency like nano and there's others alts with better tech and purpose hat will become bigger than bitcoin. That said they need time to do that, ethereum become this big after a few years and it took bitcoin almost 10 year to be like now.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad idea!!!! on: June 27, 2018, 02:12:58 PM
Its good to invest money in cryptos or to invest it in share market.Which one is good and which one is bad idea!!
If you want to get higher return and don't mind taking higher risk then you should invest in crypto but if you are afraid of the volatily nature of crypto then it's better to invest in stock market because they are real companies and there are regulations so your money is safer there. I don't think there's better one out of the two as it's different option for every person.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: June 24, 2018, 10:38:19 AM
have being studying some ico this year they are failing , what are the causes of there failure
They failed because they collected too much money and make the demand for the token close to zero post ico. If the amount that they sell at ico is less than the demand, the token/coin will become a hot commodities at exchange later, but they sell too much and no one want to buy it again at exchange while the one that bought from ico already want to sell it and move on thus creating a selling pressure with no buy order.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: June 24, 2018, 10:30:39 AM
For me litecoin is already dead because it want to be better and cheaper than bitcoin but bitcoin already solved the fee problem with the lightning network so I don't see any use of litecoin anymore. There's no news regarding the project and their supporter seems quiet aswell so I don't see them coming back to challenge newer project like trx vechain etc.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No listed on coinmarketcap on: June 23, 2018, 10:58:04 AM
I noticed a lots of coin on exchange site which are not listed on coinmarketcap. Should I buy those coin/token?
If a coin want to get listed on coinmarketcap then they must fullfil the trading volume requirement before applying there because it's no use to list dead coin with no volume and that's why there's a lot of coin on exchange that are not listed on coinmarketcap. They don't care about a project if there's no community behind it that can support it to create that minimum volume on exchange. If they list everything then there's going to be a lot of shitcoin there.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: June 23, 2018, 10:46:22 AM
In my opinion crypto won't take that long to recover from the bear market as the cycle in crypto happen much faster than stocks market so I believe we can already overcome the bear market next year and start building momentum for the next bull run next year. The bull run last year was purely driven by greed and speculation from normal people and once they get out of this market then we will start to recover for sure.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to the market over the next few months? on: June 22, 2018, 01:26:01 PM
Morning all

I just wondered what people think about how the market will respond over the next few months, and what people would recommend to invest in now, because of its current low price, compared to the end of 2017.

Thanks everyone.
Well I really hope that the market can recover for good in the following months but I think we will see sideways movement for a long time before going up slowly later this year. I don't mind it though as the rest of my crypto is for long term but it is kind of depressing to see the market goes down a lot, luckly I joined crypto last year so my coins are rather cheap.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Value of investments decrease on: June 22, 2018, 12:59:42 PM
Investment is for long term and you also have to research first before buying anything so you can get it at the best price, if you bought your coin last december then you were definitely affected by the fomo and you should've sold it before it was too late. I will sell my investment if it goes down more than 30%. If the value of your investment already down so much then you should just hold it through the bear market.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year of massive blockchain adoption? on: June 21, 2018, 01:48:06 PM
Is 2018 the year of massive blockchain adoption?

I don't think so as it's too early for massive blockchain adoption as the regulation is not there yet and the market is still suffering the crash and need to regain trust from people until they want to use it again. It's gonna need a few more years until we see the adoption of blockchain and I think 3 year later we can see blockchain being used for a lot of things.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: June 16, 2018, 06:03:53 PM

Are you surprised at the price of ETH? what is the reason?
I am not that surprised as it's not only ethereum but the whole market that experience the crash, it will be different is only ethereum is down while the other token go up or remains stable. Like it or not ethereum is still important for crypto as a lot of icos still use them before their chain is ready and there's a lot of ethereum transactions everyday.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who makes more in the end? A good trader or a holder? Thoughts? on: June 16, 2018, 05:53:11 PM
As the title said, Who makes more in the end? I been on trading for quite times, been scalping and learned a few lesson in technical analysis.
A trader or a holder , who earned a lot and takes more .
In my opinion a good holder will make more in the end, it is based on my experience on stocks market though so it might be different with crypto. Coin with great fundamental will have it's value increase in the long term so you can hold it and make profit later while in trading you have to do good trades a lot which is very unlikely to happen and you actually spend more time on trading while you can do something else if you just hold.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: June 14, 2018, 11:37:44 AM
I think it is a smart thing to hold some coin which have great fundamental as their value will surely go up in the future, the thing is people usually hold something that has a weak foundation or they don't hold long enough. I still have some coin which I got from last year and the value is still up despite the crash and I will continue to hold it for another year.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: June 13, 2018, 07:41:23 AM
And why are you saying that? Because recently there are many scam news that affect ico? Well I think not all investors get tired of ico. Maybe some did, because they always get scammed or don't get the profits they want because of the current situation. But I think, icos out there are still doing fine. At least the recent icos I joined or found is doing quite well. They're able to raise a great amount of fund although maybe sometimes they don't reach the target they want.
Don't worry, Great icos are still out there. we just need to find the right one, and get rid of the scam or worthless one. And everything will eventually get better and the ico hype will happen again, I hope so.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, staying long on BTC or USD in this Bear Market on: June 11, 2018, 12:59:45 PM
If you want to go long then its definitely better to put your money in bitcoin but I prefer to hold usd so if I find a good trading opportunity then I can buy it right away. I also don't have the patience to hold coin for a long time as 3 to 5 months is the longest I can wait for some coin before I sell it and move onto the next one that I think has more potential.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: June 03, 2018, 11:20:43 AM
I don't know that much regarding dark web so i'm not sure how many people would actually use monero as a payment option for that kind of thing and there's also a few other coin that boast their privacy like verge and spectre so I think there's already a big number of privacy coin for a small userbase that actually need it. Personally I don't like privacy coin and prefer to put my money on something else.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is actual use of altcoins other than trading? on: June 03, 2018, 11:01:31 AM
If they are created as an utility token then of course you can use them on their platform if their platform is ready, like ethereum right now to pay the gas fee on ethereum chain. But a lot of ico need at least half to 1 year until they release their platform so right now the only use if for speculation purpose and trading. Some coin also has dividend function like taas and you can get ethereum if you hold it.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex USD trading pairs on: June 03, 2018, 10:52:31 AM
I think it's been there since a long time ago because the last time I traded at bittex they already have usd trading pair, it is indeed a good move because we really need alts to be independent from bitcoin so the price movement of bitcoin won't affect them that much and they will solely depends on the performance of the dev and the development of the project to raise in value.
