181  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 11, 2016, 09:38:26 AM
It would be good if it did replace fiat but more than likely won't happen best we can hope for is it to compete against fiat and as it does more and more people will use it for every day purchases

That's what we want that bitcoin should be used on daily basis for our basic things then only we can say that bitcoin has hit the mainstream, if it is only used for online purchases or online transfer then that is of no use as in my country when it comes to online transfers or online purchases people prefers banks and credit cards.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: January 11, 2016, 09:35:45 AM
Oh I thought of another way, win the lotto!  That would have to be the easiest way... also it would help if you had a time machine.

Yeah win a lotto or win in gambling that is the quickest way to get rich but totally depends on your luck factor and the factor that how much you can afford to take risks, and other way to get richer is to get married to a rich girl, you don't need to anything else  Grin but all things are imaginary, if you want to get rich work harder and smarter.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 11, 2016, 09:32:20 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

saving money in banks or investing it online depends upon you. if you know bitcoin, and you have trust on it, then invest it online, if you trust your bank then save it there. the thing is, your money should roll and never get stagnant, coz when it is not moving, there is a big chance in the future that your money's value would depreciate due to increase in prices.  Smiley

Yeah inflation would play a big role in future as we all know that the inflation rate is going higher and higher day by day, so invest your money in something which can give you higher returns and can also survive the inflation, bitcoin is volatile and can reach to moon in the coming years so investing in bitcoin at a moment is a great idea.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as currency of currency on: January 11, 2016, 09:28:57 AM
It can be ... in the future, not now

Yeah It can’t be now. But many companies adapting are bitcoin and they are establishing bitcoin in their business. That’s the good symbol for bitcoin. Before completing 2016 many companies start to implement bitcoin. Then automatically it will happen.

It can be a currency in future but not the major currency, I mean it is difficult that bitcoin can ever become a primary currency, and if it does than it would be an magical experience, but for that it needs a support from the people, society, governments and the banking system, if adoption goes higher, bitcoin has better prospects.
185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: January 11, 2016, 09:25:13 AM
Well, i'm not actively spend my bitcoins into online stores to buy something. But i actively spend my bitcoins into gambling, because i have gambling habbit and i use it actively.

Yeah even I use my bitcoins for gambling as you can gamble even with the least amount of coin and fiat currency doesn't allow us to do that, so bitcoins is good if you are used to gambling, but generally I spend my bitcoins to convert to my local currency so that I can manage my basic expenses.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: January 11, 2016, 09:22:33 AM
i do not thing this is will happen especially in my country because they never admit bitcoin as the new currency and even there are some countries who banned bitcoin in their country so it's very difficult to see Bitcoin replaces the money

if market leader countries will fully accept bitcoins and and there will be many stores or businesses witch will use and accept btc, then any normal country will accept btc. maybe btc cannot replace money fully, but they will be used usually as money

Bitcoin can never replace fiat currency and it will be always secondary currency, even if many countries starts accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment, there are many developing countries which are not aware about the bitcoins, so they will be totally dependent on fiat currency as they are not aware what bitcoin is.
187  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: January 11, 2016, 09:19:57 AM
If everything works fine right now, as I am stil lstudying. and bitcoins price is high, then I would try it, but definitely won't rely my future in bitcoin.  Smiley

Yes I think that's right, at present I really won't feel to quit my job, but if the rate of bitcoin reaches to the moon I would surely think about it, but again we don't know how long bitcoin will exist in the near future, So it is always better to play safe and have a job in our hands, earning from bitcoin is good passive income to have.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to present BTC to Newbies ? on: January 10, 2016, 10:29:34 AM
Firstly show them the usefull video "what is bitcoin" on youtube then teach them how to make a wallet and starting transaction send or receive the bitcoin, then created an account on exchanger to teach them how to trade bitcoin to fiat or opposite
Easily the best idea, I've showed the "what is Bitcoin" video to some people who had no idea what Bitcoin was or for some who were interested in it but not entirely sure of what it was, and it was the best method for success out of all the methods I've tried. Most of them became very interested in it after watching the video, and they've joined the Bitcoin economy.

true, Yeah the video "what is bitcoin" it's really helpfull i've shared it on my facebook and twitter to my friend , moreover there is  already "what is bitcoin" version in my native language so people dont understand english can learn about it yeah i think it's pretty cool

Yeah and nowadays the youths of the countries are very tech friendly with the existence of internet and smart phones and I am sure they would really love to learn a new technology in the form of bitcoins and once they are aware that they can make money with bitcoins then would surely start getting into it.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2016, 10:26:10 AM
I was know about bitcoin almost 5 months ago.. myfriend told me about bitcoin and  then i was interested . So he taught me how to get bitcoin by free  Smiley

Yeah I got into bitcoins 8 months ago and thanks to my friend who introduced to me bitcoins where he said that you can earn money, and it can be a good passive income, and at that moment I was jobless so knowing that this is genuine concept to earn money, I started to get into bitcoins and started earning it, and it took care of my basic expenses even I was jobless.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2016, 10:22:12 AM
You can't grow your coins if you keep them idle. You need to invest either in some of the best cloud mining farms like Hashnest or in some investment schemes like HaoBTC.

Although you might want to push yourself further by gambling but it would rather be riskier.

Gambling much risky other bitcoin investment method. I would say try to investment in non risky investment in bitcoin, For that just try to use escrow system to safe both party agreement. Else better Save your bitcoin Its easier thing for all. Price will grow that time exchange in to fiat currency.

Yeah, that is the best option, holding bitcoins for future and wait till the price goes higher as it can be proved to be an best investment rather than loosing all of it in gambling, you would one day, but at finally you would end up loosing for sure, it's better to keep our bitcoins in cold storage and wait for the future for price hike.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 10, 2016, 10:09:35 AM
Why not have the best of both worlds and keep whatever you need in the bank and something on a bitcoin wallet so you could use whatever you need when the occasion arises?

That is what people are doing. I sometimes wonder if there could be banks which run with bitcoins , I mean you can deposit bitcoins there and get withdraw as bitcoins too. It would be really crazy idea but will be a future revolution Tongue .

No need to worry about it dude. Better buy bitcoin debit card that will helpful in this case. You can that while purchasing, paying bills and Fiat currency with drawl as well. For bank you need person to maintain separately with each and every treasurer in the branches but In bitcoin wallet you are only person can access your account. I feel bitcoin most trusted than bank.

Yeah with bitcoins you have your own bank and you don't have to be dependent on banking system as you have total control over your money which no bank can provides you, with banks you need to follow their rules and regulations and also the charges they imposes on the customers, with bitcoins you have freedom to hold your money and to spend it.
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: January 10, 2016, 10:04:29 AM
really wishing the local gas stations would take it this week. I lost my atm card and had to wait a week to
get my new card. In the meantime I had to use cash to pay which involved going into the bank and getting
cash. It was really a pain in the butt.

That's a great thought as we want that bitcoins should be used at common places and we don't wish to buy a car or a apartment with bitcoins, as it would once in a blue moon, but really want that we can spend bitcoins on our daily stuff as those expenses are necessities, like paying bills, grocery stuffs etc.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 10, 2016, 09:56:32 AM
can you buy a car with bitcoin ?
can you buy a home with bitcoin ?
can you buy a laptop with bitcoin ?

sometimes i think bitcoin is only asset because i can't use bitcoin like "real money"
bitcoin is only asset

Nah, you can buy all your things like car, home and laptop by bitcoin. the problem is no one who sell that accept bitcoin. so you need to exchange you bitcoin into real money. so you can buy them all. is that ok ?

But even though your purpose is solved I guess?? Even if you cannot buy physical things using bitcoins you can always convert it to real money and buy the things that you want, and that is the reason bitcoin is real money too even at this stage, no matter it will take long time when we can actually buy physical thing using bitcoins without any involvement of a real money.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: January 10, 2016, 09:52:32 AM
The limited amount of Bitcoin accepting retailers, the more widespread it becomes the more globally adopted it will be.

What you are saying is true but before that people should also have in depth knowledge of bitcoins then only they would start using it, I mean retailers starts accepting bitcoins but if the people are not aware of it then it would be useless, so firstly people should be introduced to bitcoins and if it clicks their mind then only adoption would be high.
195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 10, 2016, 09:48:03 AM
Yes...
To trade online with cryptos currencies..
To buy something
Looking in future that price will rise and money will increase...

Yes holding into bitcoin for future purpose and bitcoin is still incresing  we will not know when will stop on the market, well I think It will always increase what ever is the outcome for bitcoin.

Yes, many people here are buying bitcoin as an investment. Even bitcoin is a currency, it is treated like gold. Gold is a traditional investment whereas bitcoin is a moderate investment. Like gold bitcoin is also has limited supply so it will gain more price in future. This must be the one of the reason people are keeping on buying bitcoins.

And that is the right thing do, as it is concluded that bitcoin would reach to $1000 mark in coming months, so at present we can afford to buy as much bitcoins as possible, and people are more attracted towards bitcoins as compared gold is that bitcoin is more volatile as compared to gold, so to make quick profits, bitcoin is the key.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: January 10, 2016, 09:44:07 AM
very importan to me. if you know. I've worked full time in bitcoin
all my time, I use to earning bitcoin
I could feed my family with bitcoin  Smiley

Exactly, even I work for full time in bitcoins and earning good amount of it, and generally I use bitcoins for online transfers as it is far better then WU or Paypal as their fees are pretty high and the process is time consuming, where as with bitcoins the credits are instant with very less transaction fees.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream for bitcoin? What will it become? on: January 10, 2016, 07:08:38 AM
my dreams for bitcoin are
- the price is would be up untill the highest price and never back down
- more store accepted it as payment
- more country accepted it as officialy currency or at least legalize it
- more atm bitcoin all over the world especially in my area

Yeah that's the dream we all are looking for, and we hope that day comes soon when bitcoin is widely used and widely accepted and people have more knowledge of bitcoins like to how to earn it and how to use it, We want that it should replace banking system soon and should be supported by the governments too.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: January 01, 2016, 12:50:46 PM
[quote author=cjmoles link=topic=1101336.msg13415737#msg13415737

My biggest problem with bitcoin is its lack of a smart contract functionality.  It is too easy to send bitcoin off for some goods or services and not receive those goods or services in return.  I know that there are escrow services that provide a measure of comfort but they're not safe either and represent a degree of centralization.  Some of the newer alternatives, such as Ethereum, have included turing capabilities and smart contract functionality to their platform which makes their system less reliant on trust. It would be nice if Bitcoin also included those features somehow.

Is it the same problem with paying online using credit cards or paypal? I mean, you can buy staff online and not receive it, but you can do charge-back as a last resort. So the smart contracts would provide charge-back functionality or something else?

[/quote]

Yeah but the thing is that bitcoin is always better then paypal or credit cards where they charge heavily on their customers and bitcoins on the other hand is very transparent with the least fees and yes the confirmation time is the biggest problem with bitcoins and sometimes it takes a long time to get confirmed or else there are more satisfied customers of bitcoins for sure as compared to paypal or credit cards.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: January 01, 2016, 12:42:32 PM
If there's a thing that i want/need, then i'll use my coins
But after that? just hold it until the price rise again  Grin

Exactly, that is the right thing to do as if they are idle then there must be something in our minds that we are not using bitcoins, we would surely hold bitcoins for price rise and sell it at a right time and make some profits out of it, honestly bitcoins can never be idle as we would surely keep on using it and spending it whenever we need and that is the right thing to do with bitcoins.
200  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: January 01, 2016, 12:37:41 PM
I wish a could buy a house with my BTC Cheesy
Well, thats my hope aswell.  Grin
When bitcoin price is high enough, maybe i can sell it and buy a house for the future  Grin

That's true we all want that we could buy luxury car or apartment by using bitcoins, but honestly speaking I really don't think that it is possible in the coming future, no doubt small merchants would start accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment but buying home or a car would be really difficult as there are many among us who are not aware of bitcoins.
