k well it won't dl the blockchain..  something must be borked in my windows install.. I have gotten 16 other qt-wallets to work.. this one tells me the same thing all other wallets tell me without a qt-- listen- blah blah- needs listen=0 blah blah

wallet doesn't open without a .conf file though

K I need some help!   I just recieved a 6950.. I am able to mine btc through guiminer at 350mh/s 70c..   But for the past 24 I have been trying to get this to work with guiminer for scrypt with no luck..    I started off having my gtx 660 plugged in as the main card.. plugged the 6950 into the second pcie slot on my up5, installed drivers... it worked.. mining scrypt coin at around 390kh/s through guiminer scrypt.   I wasn't happy with that speed so I spent the rest of the day yesterday trying to get cgminer to work properly..  

I have since taken out the 660 removed the drivers and did a fresh install of the amd 12.11 beta drivers and the 6950 is the only card in my machine right now.. I'm running on the IG from the 3770k  and cannot for the life of me get cgminer to mine on this card...

This is the config that has at least gotten me close to my goal but only produces 6kh/s..  I have tried probably hundreds of configs at this point..
and it still just does not seem to want to work.. I don't get it.. i can mine btc through guiminer.. but no scrypt though gui or cgminer..

Since I posted this I have discovered that I can open the .bat files that the cgminer inside guiminer-scrypt creates.. if that makes sense.. still can't get the stand alone cgminer to work though.. i guess this is good enough.. still be cool if one of you guys knew what was going on here though..

K well guiminer is working but giving me around 315kh/s ...  I have gigbt up5 mobo.. 3770k, gtx 660 in the first pcie, gigabyte 6950 in the second pcie..  the opencl platform # should be 3 the device should be 1..
cgminer just won't work and I have tried hundreds of setting variations at this point!  somebody please help lol!

Have you had any luck with this in the past month or two since this post? Cause I just got a 6950 today.. plugged it in installed the amd catalyst driver reboot... good to go.. working in guiminer.. bout to set up cgminer here in a bit..

oh yea.. point of posting is that the 6950 is my second.. gtx 660 is my main.. left all nvidia stuff alone during the amd install.. didn't remove any drivers or anything... thinking if you still haven't figured it out maybe i could help

I agree with all of this.  Alt section here is retarded.  Cryptocointalk forum is a much nicer version of these forums.. and if all the alt coin people moved over there we could have some organisation between all the coins and other topics people like to chat about.   That site really is just naked and waiting for thousands of alt coin users to have it replace this forum!!  Everybody to cryptocointalk AT ONCE!!!!
