181  Economy / Speculation / Re: 550.000.000.000 or 550 billion, or over half a trillion, gone in three (3) weeks on: February 13, 2018, 10:37:25 AM
I highly doubt these fluctuations in price are due to the collaboration of super whales, $550 billion.... $550 BILLION. Do you know how many whales would need to be collaboration to crash the market by that amount? There are very few known people with over $1 billion in bitcoin, there are none known with over $10 billion. A dip like the one we saw was simply due to panic selling, the recent weak hands that bought in around October/November last year saw a dip, FUD was spread and they sold and actualized their losses.

sanity prevailed as people realized this would never work
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: February 13, 2018, 10:36:25 AM
This info was nothing but a strategic by the big players in bitcoin to forces bitcoin holders to rush into panic selling and for them to have an advantage of buying bitcoin at a cheaper price due to panic. Because the news of bitcoin being ban in China was an unconfirmed news and even due the news is true there are some of bitcoin lovers who will never allowed such ban to totally affect they transactions in bitcoin, this might only affect bitcoin price for some time but before you know it the price will rise again.

why is it people in hre always resort to consipracy theories?
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin banned on: February 13, 2018, 10:25:29 AM
indonesian goverment banned bitcoin, affect the bitcoin price of the world ?

and another example of a country
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are killing/have killed Bitcoin.... it is sad but true. on: February 13, 2018, 10:22:23 AM
Only a few years ago we had a growing number of shops here in berlin that you were able to buy food and/or drinks from for bitcoin. Right now there are no more of these stores left. And most of the sellers I used to buy things from on the big marketplaces now refuse to trade bitcoin too and changed to etherium. I know for those people that think that bitcoin is the new gold it is not that bad but bitcoin was "released" to be something completely different. Right now bitcoin is no real crypto currency at all. Buy a coffee for 2,5 bucks and pay 25 bucks fee.... sure.......... In my opinion bitcoin completely failed because of these fees and I sold every last satoshi and invested in other crypto currencies. Is there a single reason to stick to bitcoin? If yes, please feel free to tell me!

yes it is true
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why crypto will die on: February 13, 2018, 10:22:08 AM
First watch this vid.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LSBZtL_sLs

Crypto is incentivising people to destroy the planet.

At the moment the world is focused on getting rid of plastic, I'd say crypto is what we need to get rid of next.

If your crypto isn't green it's going to be taken out and shot. If your favourite coins don't destroy the plane they might have a future.

BTC is too energy consuming
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin drops carpet: Is that just the beginning of an end? on: February 13, 2018, 10:21:09 AM
Cryptocurrency were created to "not belong to any country and not led by anybody," but officials are "largely responsible" for the biggest slam of this money.

no manipulation by governments - people looking to get rich quick with no understanding handles that all by themselves
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swedish bank forbids 31000 employees from investing in Bitcoin or crypto on: February 13, 2018, 10:06:06 AM
Bank says its too risky the employees get involved in Criminal or unethical activities. Bank also encourages those who already have invested in crypto to sell.

I would assume this is a small attempt by the bank to help lowering the market price...

Clearly they want employees with common sense
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 09:31:49 AM
Since Bitcoin was ever released, I've thought of the possibility of this. Will crimes be easily funded now due to bitcoin and it's anonymity? How do you think the authorities will combat this? Will this lead to a decline in the price of bitcoin? I've had this on my mind for a while now and I would like to hear your guys opinions.

It is a strong part of Bitcoin - and why it will eventually fail
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down, this time for no reason on: February 13, 2018, 09:30:42 AM
I can't find any reason for today's drop on internet.

Do anyone know the reason behind this drop?

Same as every time it drops - more and more people stop HODL'ing and realize it will continue down
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forget HODLing! on: February 13, 2018, 09:30:14 AM
After the last couple of days l have had in this market l refuse to use the term HODL anymore. It is just too nice a term for what we are presently experiencing. I believe we need to ad a new letter to it HOFDL - " Hold on For Fucking dear life " . Pretty much sums up what is necessary in this market.

Anyone got a clue where we are heading in the short term? There is so much FUD out there and misdirection, it's hard to work out what is happening.

If you really want to lose your money, just keep doing that
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh crap! What happened to bitcoins? on: February 13, 2018, 09:28:50 AM
These days I am noticing that the price of bitcoin is quitely decreasing..So what can we assume?
Bitcoin is going towards its end or its a good news for investors...If so then lets buy lot of bitcoin at risk...may ne in future we suffer from heart attack or we can become mad for becoming such rich..

And since your post we are much much further down....
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now banned in JAMAICA on: February 13, 2018, 09:27:27 AM

193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstream leadership falling apart on: February 13, 2018, 09:25:34 AM
Since the Blockstream leadership is falling apart - who is likely to take over control of Bitcoin?  Can we really trust them?  I guess they have to do better than Blockstream did as we have seen two years of really fucked up shit.  Will they be able to right the ship or do we have to go looking for more performance on other blockchains?  Maybe the old Bitcoin was the better option?

there is no leadership - another reason it will fail
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 13, 2018, 09:20:27 AM
The continuing decline where Bitcoin goes to deeper and deeper levels is very clear. If the pattern continues, the next bottom will be on February 20 where it will drop below 4000. Continuing, then the next bounce will only reach up to around 7000, followed by an even deeper drop.....

I wish you included reliable sources for your claims because you're making speculations and might make other people worry. Bitcoin is in a tightrope right now and any negative speculation or news about it makes it crash even more. You might be correct, but all we can hope for right now is a bounce.

What is not reliable? You can check the price development of Bitcoin on every possible crypto exchange - it shows exactly the same, a continuing long-term decline bouncing a bit up and down
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: February 13, 2018, 09:15:42 AM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

Also the high fees makes it useless as a currency
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: February 13, 2018, 09:14:57 AM
I think people getting wise to Tether is just about to explode.  Probably 50% reduction in all cryptos in the next two days.  Mark my words.

From 12000 to 6000 the price did indeed drop some 50%
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $500 million go missing in largest cryptocurrency hack ever - News on: February 13, 2018, 09:10:55 AM
Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck has confirmed it lost about $524 million after suffering a hack which stole 500 million NEM tokens, said to be the biggest cryptocurrency hack ever. NEM, the 10th-largest cryptocurrency by market value, fell 11% over a 24-hour period following the hack. The previous largest theft was pegged at $450 million in 2014 from a Tokyo-based exchange.

Shocking news huh? This will affect badly for the Crypto world. Are these hackers unstoppable ? I am worried all my coins are in exchanges, not in hardware wallets, Exchanges are really not safe, This news confirms it again.

we see it again and again. Security in the crypto world is extremely poor
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin continue to fall to $ 6,000$-5,000$??? on: February 13, 2018, 09:07:58 AM
Will bitcoin continue to fall to $ 6,000$-5,000$?
Yesterday bitcoin has fallen below  10,000$. Today bitcoin continues to fall deep down to 8,200$ and possibly more.
I bought bitcoin at 15,000$. Who can advise me to keep or sell bitcoin at this time? Will bitcoin continue to fall to 6,000$-5,000$? what should I do? please.. Sad Sad

face it - you have lost a lot of money. You are lucky with the short rebound to 8000. It will soon drop even lower again
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is garbage. on: February 13, 2018, 09:06:29 AM
How can we be expected to invest in this stupidity?

Here is a guy trying to give Andreas a tip of $1.50.  To do that, he paid $13.46 in fees.  Does that seem like a sensible payment system?  Not.  It is garbage.  SegWit didn't help with anything.

That is spot on - and this is why it will never work, and continue to decline
200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 13, 2018, 08:57:58 AM
why bitcoin is going down guys kindly tell me

Because many investors have now realized that Bitcoin is useless as a currency - only fools believing in "HODL" are now buying, and they do not have enough money to keep the price up long term
