The problem with Transfer fees is that exchanges typically still keep the same fees that they were applying when the currencies were 10X or 100X cheaper. Now that they are 10X of 100X more expensive, also the transfer fees have increased 10X or 100X. This is not correct.

Thank you very much for the 1 BTX christmas present... soon it will be worth 1,000.00 USD ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) This is what you could call optimism ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Of course I strongly hope you are right, since is you are I will be rich by then ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If we stick together, then everything is possible. Yes, you have framed it: this is the magic of crypto - the power of communities is what is giving value to a currency, nothing else! The bigger and the better one community, the higher the value of their currency of choice.

You do realize that there are pump and dump groups that pump trash-coins like Dentacoin, and then dump it right at the top, leaving all those jumping on the bandwagon with their bags they'll never sell. Don't think that just because a coin spikes 50-100x that it's because of some huge increase in acceptance, more often than not these are pump and dump spikes which tend to occur on low market cap coins due to being easier to manipulate.
Yes, that is the sad truth, the little capitalized coins are all getting pumped these days, one after the other, and it will probably all end with tons of bagholders of depreciated shitcoins in the end...

Hi Calum93,
The best one out there that's accepting new members currently is Kucoin. Although I overheard some chatter today that they may have suspended it for some time due to the server load.
I have just managed to join Kucoin, but from what I could see their servers are very overloaded, sometimes it could take ages for pages to refresh.

Ugh, Bitcoin and CoinMarketcap... what have you done? lol all these weak hands exiting! A normal correction is needed anyways, graphs were getting steep. Looking to see some consolidation and then another run.
Yes, it is an unpleasant surprise to see all the numbers on your blockfolio collapsing overnight because of the BTC drop. Let's hope the weak hands are gone and that the whales don't plan any more dumps to rebuy cheaper. Nice to see in this mess DeepOnion keeping its price.

I am looking for High Risk High Reward opportunities. Like, in my opinion Deeponion. Low Martketcap, Low Supply, If Project works High Reward.
Any others out there everyone should caught an eye on?
I agree with you that DeepOnion has a high chance to earn big profits. It's low market cap now so it has a lot of space to grow up to x100, it has very active devs and community, pretty good roadmap. From the others, I'd go for Waves - it's market cap is not that low, but still a lot of space to grow and a lot of huge upgrades are expected in the following months. Now also DAG based cryptos are trendy, here I'd go for Byteball which still has quite low cap and is a solid project. I agree on both coins. DeepOnion and Byteball have both low capitalisation for their sectors, so bigger chances of growing.

I am using Cryptopia mainly beacuse high altcoins support. But f you are starting low donīt concern much about that, the difference will be minimum, just stay around the 0,2 and apply yourself in refine your portfolio selection.
Happy new year.
Cryptopia has outrageous fees for withdrawing BTC. Lowest BTC withdrawal fees are of Poloniex. Other fees i don't know.

Nice thread to bookmark so as to be always up to date. By the way which kind of hard forrk is the one which will affect Ethereum in January?

|

I would recommend you to put this question on the official Bitcore thread where you will have more chances of people answering you.

Airdrops are for free but you still have to invest your time, which has a value, so you should anyway chose the right projects.

Which is the point of owing their tokens? I mean, the advantaage? Will they share the fees? Is it explained how?

Interesting read, the future looks bright for DeepOnion ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) price looks to be stabilizing after the recent pump without too much of a correction Yes, I agree on the interesting read, I guess DeepOnion will probably get more and more attention from the crypto-maistream.

Looking forward to the airdrop. But what should we do exactly so as to get it? I didn't find any instructions.
|
|
|
Did you take any other BTC snapshop for the airdrop? I happen to have BTCs only from recently. Is September I was all in alts.

For starters the stock market is REGULATED. Second of all Bitcoin did not have a premine staked by the dev.
Two stories for that. 1. Around year 2000 during the DotCom NASDAQ bubble I happened to read about a stock higly recommended by Merryl Lynch, Verticalnet, which was around 300-400$ and Merryl Lynch predicted it would go to 600$. A few weeks later it was 30$. So I bought it, because if Merryl Lynch had said it is good, at 30$ is was clearly a bargain. A few weeks later it was 3$. Then 1$, And finally only a bounch of cents, This is the regulated stock market. No thank you. 2. Bitcoin did not have a premine, but Satoshi's stake of estimated over 1 Million BTCs looks very much like an instamine, even though it took him time to mine them - ALONE. He still has those coins.

hi, i am a noob. wanted to buy but high prices scared me. now it's down and it scares me too. do you think we expect a comeback soon or even bigger drop?
Nope when you say they are down by 50%, do consider the fact that it is due of BTC fall. All coins are BTC proportional and you are seeing everything red because BTC is red by huge variant. Just change the base currency from "BTC" to "USD" and you will see real market. Now about market price and suggestion to buy coins. My answer would be 'NO'. It is presently better to buy BTC only. If you buy any other big cap coin, its rise would be less than BTC till New Year. BTC will on another rally as minimum viable point has been reached. Now onwards, it will on run to $18K and possibly $20K by New Year. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I strongly disagree with you. Let's say Bitcoin becomes 50.000% in 2 months. That's a 400% price increse (taking in consideration the current price). If you would invest in a different coin, an altcoin, you could experience a 1000%-5000% increase. When Bitcoin reached 19 000$, some altcoins had a 3000% price increase! It very depends on WHICH altcoin you chose to buy and when. If it were so easy everybody would be already a millionaire in cryptos.

As a Newbie you should try to become Legendary Member. This usually takes several years spent in the bitcointalk community, while you spend your time reading around and commenting. In a few months you can already rise in rank, to jr Member and Member,

The graphic of the Ann cannot be read on a Tablet. Do you have also a bounty campaign?
|
|

This ANN is just very much more interested in telling people how to send the money to the devs that to explain what the project should be about - LoL ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
