VERIFONE CERTIFICATION STATUS UPDATE

After working closely with the Verifone team over the last six months on developing and certifying GRAFT Network integration using Verifone’s brand new Connect application platform, we’re proud to announce passing of the main phase of the rigorous certification process as of the end of last week, making GRAFT one of the first applications on the platform, and first one to enable cryptocurrency payments using Verifone’s interactive series payment terminals.

The integration app is running on the RTA Testnet, so not yet compatible with the Mainnet (pending Full supernode release) and some of the configuration options are pending Verifone platfofrm updates, however the merchants and other eco-system participants can start testing things out, in preparation for the Mainnet launch.

Overall, we’re very happy to be partnering with Verifone, excited about the push into enabling altternative method of payment and other interactive application on their formidable new terminal platforms.

The payment terminal space is quickly emerging and going through a transformation of its own, both on the device level with a “Single Unit” (POS/Terminal) conversion, and on the software level with application platforms, opening up greater possibilities for innovation!

I've got some questions, can someone clarify me? Thanks

1 - Is there an emission curve? This is finite supply right?
2 - When will the emission end?
3 - In main announcement, we can see it's Pow/ Pos, i belive Pos is for supernodes, how can one get it?

I am getting you the info for 1 and 2 .
In regard to number 3 Pos super node is not yet available , our current estimate is release in next 60 days

Is there any progress on MasterNode? We wait with impatience. Is there a date you can say?
Finally. When are we going to a big market ? We are in a very bad situation at the moment.

There is progress , I expect to have some updates in the coming weeks.

We need a bigger exchange guys do something about that the price is going down people lose their trust in the project because of this tradeogre has low trading volume.......

What exactly is a larger exchange going to accomplish?

Well I don't know bigger trading volume price will be harder to manipulate from what I see on tradeogre is manipulation of price this coin its way better then 149 sat more people will find out about Graft if its listed on a larger exchange and so on....
Now please tell why you are not so optimist about a larger exchange Huh

Larger exchange does not always entails larger volume .

this is only true in part for coins with no real application. the same coin could show no activity due to complete lack of interest from so many active community members and therefore show no volume whatever. on a larger exchange, it's easier for a coin with actual application to begin showing real activity as people begin showing more interest and find it easy to take advantage of sites with so much more underlying volume.
in other words, for coins with no actual use or sub meter innovation, an exchange showing larger volume will not improve the volume of a coin with volume that is already dithering.
with a coin based on something as valuable as graft ( technology withstanding ) a successful exchange will improve the success of the market.

I also believe in pacing this outcome and truly being aware of time restraints as well as deadlines.

We are actively working on getting listed on additional exchanges.
However as i stated before exchanges is second to the utility and usability of the token.

Together these goes hand in hand to provide the best value for our marchants, users and investors.

tell me please, but will there be information about the team? I would like to know something about them and their previous experience

Hi .

You can see our website for the team members and their background.
Many have LinkedIn profile where you can see their experience.
Those who don't have GitHub will should speak volume of their experience

I`ve sent a PM to graft-project two weeks ago and never got any answer back....
I guess that people have to post questions about their issues here,so the GRAFT support would feel obligated to respond.
I`ve tried to send my GRFT coins to Trageogre and it didn`t work.
I`m currently using version 1.6.3 of the Android Wallet and it`s not working.
I still get that message:

"Services cannot process request.
Reason:Error transferring http://mainnet-seed.graft.network:18900/dapi-server
replied:Internal server error"

The receiver`s GRFT address is 106 characters long  and it`s typed corectly.

What should i do?

This error is a communication error your wallet have with the proxy nodes.
The reasons can be many as Firewall, network connectivity and others.

Try to switch to LTE.
Kill app and reopen
Try to send without fraction ( whole coin transaction)

** The 106 characters is not an issue in version 1.6.3 **

GRAFT MAJOR NETWORK UPDATE 1.2.1 AT BLOCK 68000

https://www.graft.network/2018/04/22/graft-major-network-update-1-2-1-at-block-68000/

We just released a major network update 1.2.1. This update is intended to mitigate recent attacks on GRAFT blockchain and improve the stability of the block intervals. There are two major changes included in this release: timestamp manipulation prevention and improved difficulty adjustment algorithm. The major network update will be triggered at block 68000.
The block timestamp manipulation allows a miner with significant hashrate power to generate an alternative chain of several blocks and add it to the main chain. The corresponding code fix will disable this possibility.

The original LWMA-based difficulty adjustment algorithm used the same adjustment rate to increase and decrease difficulty. As the result, it was taking significant time to restore after a peak, leaving users suffering from a higher difficulty. In our novel approach, we introduce an adaptive adjustment rate, making return to a normal difficulty level faster. The mechanism detects a failing edge of the difficulty curve and change the rate accordingly, using the following formula:

The major network update is scheduled for block height 68000. Each GRAFT network node must be updated to the new software version before that block, otherwise, the node that wasn’t updated is going to be on the wrong version of the blockchain. Major network update means that if you are running the GRAFT network node (graftnoded daemon), you must upgrade it to the current software release as soon as possible. If you do not install the updated node before the block 68000, your node will be blocked by other nodes. Note that the users of GRAFT mobile and desktop wallets (GUI wallets) are not affected by the upcoming network update and don’t need to do anything – as long as they are still connected to the default proxy supernodes (if you are connected to your own supernode, however, do not forget to upgrade the underlying network node).

The source code of the version 1.2.1 is now released and available for download from master. In order to check whether you are running the right version of GRAFT network node, launch graftnoded daemon in terminal window (in interactive mode) and type help command. If you are running the right version you should see Graft ‘Beta Lyrae’ (v1.2.1-release) in the first line of the help result.

I am fairly concerned with the rankings of our algorithm as well the overall investment ranking of this project so far. Electroneum has a B class rating here, as well as much greater projects that include Social Send and Tron or Cardano. I understand that it's early in the game, however, the perceived risk of investing any more than a tier one node at the moment is a strain on the market and by proxy, the project as well.

Thanks for the compiled wallet. A large majority of investors would likely prefer a more plug and play design and full GUI as there are people with large business ventures and little or no computer literacy who would rather have a secure wallet stored on their secure personal computer rather an app on their phone. Thank you for all of the hard work and we look forward to the glory of your developments.

I will check and get back to you

Some of the proxy nodes ( Which GUi and mobile clients) uses have issues (Where balance is not updated).

We are working on the nodes and I will update once issue is resolved.

Great work!
Have you forked to monero7? Or did you do another algo tweak?
