Should I go direct shares or not? That is the question. It would seem direct is a good idea. I'll let the idea sink in over the weekend.
I'm in the same disjunctive as you...

If an US user wants to have bitfunder shares via third party, I volunteer as third party with 1% fees.
If someone is interested please PM me to discuss the terms.

I want to own Addiction shares but I'm trying to understand why the price of shares has dropped. Something that I don't know? Is it because of the delay in GB 2 and 3 delivery?
Bitfunder is closing itself off to US residents, idiots are panic selling for fear that they will not be able to get their funds back. Its not a market for everyone, All assets in bitfunder lost a lot of value because these idiots who don't know how to read. I even think some of them are non-US citizens xD

In my opinion Non-US citizens have a great buy opportunity. Us Citizens are screwed. Bitfunder will soon be closing to the US Important Notice (October 8th, 2013):
Please be advised that BitFunder is implementing the following rules and procedures:
As of October 8th, 2013, BitFunder will not accept new registrations from any United States persons or entities. All new registrants must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account. BitFunder may, in its sole direction, decline to accept any new registrations.
As of October 8th, 2013, all current BitFunder users who are located in the United States or are determined to be United States persons or entities will not be able to enter into any new positions on the Bitfunder website, and, as of November 1, 2013, such users will also not be allowed to sell positions on the BitFunder website.
All current BitFunder users who are not United States persons or entities must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account before November 1, 2013. Any such users who fail to provide the necessary information will not be able to enter into or sell positions on the BitFunder website as of November 1, 2013.
Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013.
All assets and issuers must demonstrate that they meet BitFunder's requirements for the listing of assets, or the assets and issuers will, at BitFunder's sole discretion, be denied access to, or removed from, the site. Issuers will be notified of any additional information needed to demonstrate compliance with BitFunder's requirements.
BitFunder appreciates your understanding in these matters as we move forward.
Sincerely, BitFunder

If you look almost all assets lost value because of the announcement on Bitfunder. I think this is a great Buy opportunity for all non US citizens

I think there are people who are in bitfunder and doesn't know how trade works. A lot of securities are losing value because of people like that.

Hi,
I ask for a loan of 2.2 BTC to pay in 3 weeks.
I have my funds tied to KNCminer and when they release the miners (or sooner) I will pay this loan.
I can provide some collateral by 1.6 if this loan is confirmed and required (I can't provide more collateral because I don't have 2-fact on bitfunder).
I need this loan to make a purchase.
Not a fan of these type of loans because as we all know many of these "miners" (cases with fans) never end up shipping. If you have a fair form of collateral I'd be willing to hear you out. [/quote] Hard to communicate without forums, now we know how important are these forums. Well KNC is shipping And I still need this loan, my shares are from tyrion70 and blastbob Groupbuys who start hashing yesterday. Still paying in 3 Weeks.

I think tyrion and blastbob are sleeping right now, but these are the last 2 news we heard from them Today started almost 34 hours ago.. In those 34 hours we did our normal dayjobs, travelled to Sweden, picked up 9 miners, drove them to the datacentre and spend the better part of the morning and afternoon getting them up and running..
They are running now! the 9 miners are currently running a comfortable 4.5TH! Considering we still get three more we really can’t complain.
Now it’s time for a little rest so we can continue with some setups and statistics tomorrow!
Cheers!!
