There is definitely a lot of heat that comes of off GPU mining rigs, I don't know if it would be enough to heat an entire home but it would definitely be enough to supplement your heat and allow you to turn down the thermostat a couple of degrees. I have been running the a/c strong all summer with the heat and now that it's getting colder I can already tell the cards are keeping the place a bit warmer than it would normally be. So maybe the lower heating costs will absorb the extra money I spent on a/c all summer!!

I am very sorry to hear about your loss!! I sincerely hope you were able to secure the remainder of your coins to another wallet!! Sounds weird that if you got hacked they would have left anything in there..

I have been in the crypto market for approximately 4 months, and have become fully addicted! I have learned a ton, and hope to see some real profit start to flow in the next couple of months! Good luck to all!

I think deep onion has a huge potential for growth over the long term. Devs are constantly adding new features, coin has a huge community following, and it does have real world value as well. Let's hope it continues to grow in value!

The coins I am most interested in, and plan on continuing to hold are Ethereum, and deep onion. I also hold SIA but am less excited about the growth of this coin, although I was very excited about it when I first got into it. We will see if things change, but it may be time to get rid of my SIA and see what else is out there worth holding onto.

I generally never check them unless I get an email saying a rig is down. That's when the stress happens and I want to drop everything I am doing to go check. Unfortunately I did get that email today, and cannot wait to get home to check!!

I don't know that there is any major health concerns about emissions from the GPU cards. I do know that if you are in a small contained area that you better have a good air conditioner and a set of noise cancelling headphones. These rigs generate a heck of a lot of heat and noise, so more of a comfort concern versus a health concern in my opinion.

My favorite for something safe and long term is Ethereum. My favorite right now for something new and exciting with big potential for growth is Deep Onion!! I also have some Sia which I am less excited about.

I would say ethereum is a safe bet for those that want something stable to buy and hold onto long term. I believe it will continue to rise in value, and has become the second biggest coin behind Btc. I always continue to accumulate and hold this coin, and plan on continuing to do so for the long term!

I don't think you are late to the party at all! There are lots of new and exciting things happening daily in crypto! Regardless of the price seeming high on some of the coins you mentioned, as long as they continue to rise then it's still a great time to buy! There are also lots of new altcoins coming out that are super cheap and may hit big in the future. So, I would say dive in and get some coins, you are not late to the party at all! Good Luck!

I would say stay the course, be patient and continue to hold the altcoins you have until they recover a little bit. Unless you really need to, I wouldn't recommend selling at such a loss right now!! Good luck and I hope your coins recover!!

I think it is always a good time to accumulate more ethereum. I believe this coin will continue to rise in value over the long term. With that being said, you might want to hold off for a couple days until the price comes down a little! Either way I am sure you would be happy with your results if you plan on buying and holding!

I like ethereum overall although I would not necessarily buy it today as the value is quite high right now. I also like deep onion which is at a good price right now!! Good luck in your investments!!

I am currently holding ethereum, sia, as well as deep onion. I have high hopes for all three of them, hopefully they will continue to grow in value!

I have 3 rigs running 8 gpu's each dual mining eth and sia. My total mh/s on average with all 3 rigs running is close to 570mh/s for the ethereum.

I think ethereum is a safe altcoin to invest in with a stable price and steady growth. I see deep onion as something with potential to grow more rapidly in price and really blow up. So it really comes down to your goals and what you expect out of your investment. I currently hold both of the coins I mentioned and have been very happy with both. Good luck on your endeavors!!

I would say invest in both, I think you are safe to expect both will continue to rise. Who knows which will rise at a higher rate, so at least if you get a bit of both you will be happy with the results either way. Definitely both are awesome coins with huge investment return potential.
