190  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tuloy Ang pag Ban Ng Binance Sa Pinas At Posibleng Dahilan. on: March 31, 2024, 07:09:16 PM

191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the current bitcoin bull run confirmed now ? on: March 31, 2024, 06:31:03 PM
We had bitcoin touching even $70k not long ago. It has almost doubled in few months. Is this the sign of current bull run. Or we can expect even more movement and then the bull run will be confirmed ?

I still don't see it or buy it, it doesn't seem like a Bullrun in my opinion but a temporary skyrocket in the market price of Cryptocurrencies, I think this is pretty normal especially because we are getting near the Bitcoin Halving Event, I said it every time looking at the Bitcoin Halving timeline, every time the Bitcoin halving event is near there are a huge pumps in the market price of Bitcoin and that goes to a lot of altcoins in the market as well, Yes we have seem the market price of Bitcoin increase up to 70k$ which never actually happened before, but if we are going to think about the Bitcoin adaptation in the whole world it is just going to make a lot of sense compared to the past years, Bitcoin really is adapted fast in a lot of countries to the point where we could already see a lot of companies, supporting cryptocurrency, there are even some banks here in my country allowing you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using there platform. With that and the Bitcoin ETF news I think it is what actually trigger that market price to break the All time high, but after a new on every Halving event that is mostly where we get to see the real Bullrun.

The Bitcoin and other altcoins market saw a bull run start when Bitcoin jumped from $49,000 to $73,000 in early March, surprising many who expected a different trend before the upcoming halving in April. Though, recent changes in the market make it unclear if the expected drop that takes place before every halving will still occur. We're not sure if Bitcoin will follow its usual pattern. I think there will be more ups than downs before the halving, which might confirm the bull run.
Looking at past halving events, I believe the real bull run hasn't happened yet.Still, we have to remember that the market is unpredictable and affected by many external factors. Anything can happen at anytime and we may see something new from Bitcoin. You just have to remember to hold and be patient.

I think we are still inline with the coming Bitcoin halving, a lot of traders are surely going to experience a huge drop in the market on that Bitcoin halving date, then slowly going to enter the Bullrun after that just like in the past timeline of Halving. Just based on the adaptation of cryptocurrency around the world I think it is possible to break 100k$, my opinion was around double so its probably around 140k$ if we are going to get the Bullrun.

192  Local / Pilipinas / Re: TUTORIAL PARA MAACCESS PARIN SI BINANCE KAHIT WALANG VPN NA GINAGAMIT on: March 31, 2024, 05:56:01 PM

193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Amazing Vintage Slot Machines on: March 31, 2024, 05:29:38 PM
Well, that slot machine actually looks amazing for sure the way it rotates and stops is just great seeing those machine parts. I mean this is still used in casinos right so I have to assume that there are some ways where the casino is always going to end up making money at some point, It is difficult to think about these things for sure compared to right now which is online gambling just thinking about it, it can easily be rig at some point where the roulette there could somehow end up not winning anything at a certain time, probably it is going to lose 10times then win 3 times something like that, we that way the casino is already going to make a profit and at the same time, there are people who are winning this slot machines. I could easily imagine that it could be the case here even though it might be an old machine, I mean it might be put luck as well since there was actually a higher chance for the gambler to win since getting that reel jackpot is going to be difficult anyway. Probably it is just a matter of how many players are actually going to use it, but looking at these machines they are just very attractive to gamblers, I don't know if it was just me but it was kinda fun playing slot machines with just looking at it, its colorful, it's a nice piece of machinery.

194  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic growth and it effect on the standard of living on: March 31, 2024, 04:53:29 PM
I mean that was just pretty common for some rising countries we could easily see people have a higher standard of living compared to countries that is the opposite of it, I guess we could just say that the more a country grow the higher the standard of living there is going to increase, surely as more jobs, higher incomes for a lot of people etc. people are going to increase there standard of living on there, as they could afford things that is going to make there life easier. The more businesses on a country the higher the economic growth is, with a lot of businesses out there there will be more jobs, it will equal to higher salaries as the businesses become more successful throughout every year. That would also be going to result in a lot of structures like bridges, and highways, also we have technology as well increasing its growth making it easier for people to life and improve their quality of life in a country.

In every individual we already see it happening having the feeling of our salary not being enough even though we know that our salary is high, but for the most part, it is just because the higher our salary is we tend to increase our way of living as well. I mean who doesn't want to buy things that they want right?

195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Away Bitcoin To Avoid Estate Tax on: March 31, 2024, 04:00:35 PM
I've always wondered whether giving away Bitcoin randomly to addresses might be a way some ultra-rich avoid estate taxes, someday.

Let's say Satoshi wanted to avoid the estate tax, set to go back to 45% on all amounts over $6.8 million beginning in 2025. Assuming he is alive, that would be quite the tax bill. Government would be salivating at the prospect.

Is it theoretically possible if you were Satoshi to just give away $17,000 worth of Bitcoin randomly to 4 million addresses, utilizing the legal annual per-person gift tax loophole? Would such an event even be workable if Satoshi (or anyone else) wanted to give away $17k each randomly? Could the choosing of addresses be achieved by a computer program? Would there be any way to know if the incoming .25 Bitcoin per giveaway was legit and not some scam if you saw it waiting for you?

A relative of mine gave away all money to charity above the estate tax limit to avoid the estate tax a few years back when he passed. But with Bitcoin, it seems there would be interesting wrinkles possible as an alternative to formal charities.

I suspect someday a billionaire might try something just like this to avoid the estate tax and spread the money out, instead of paying the government, while keeping some degree of anonymity for the receiver and sender.

Thoughts?

I mean giving away your Bitcoin is not going to make sense at all since it's not going to be your money at all, it's going to be a better move to pay tax since it still going to be a huge amount after paying taxes, even though the taxes are going to be huge as well. I mean a giveaway some of kind or something like airdrops might actually work for sure but it's going to be a lot of work, plus there was for sure some potential of seeing this as a strategy on avoiding tax but it surely might work. We can surely look at charity where it doesn't really take taxes I mean that could easily be a way for sure, It just way too noticeable to see this kind of strategy especially if you're going to transaction millions and billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin. But I guess with that kind of amount of money it is better to pay taxes just to be safe because surely it will be a huge lawsuit and worst you gonna get criminal charges for tax evasion which as a billionaire you don't want to happen because it can easily cause you everything as soon as they find it out.

Personally, with thousands of dollars of transactions so far I didn't get any notice, when I was just a student I had a lot of big income transactions of thousands of dollars which is for sure not going to be achievable for someone who is just a college student, surely is questionable, especially on the banks. But so far I didn't have issues converting my Bitcoin to fiat money. But I have a friend who got his account frozen with a much higher amount in the bank. So I guess it's better to do it on multiple micro-transactions than just cashing out at once since it is going to attract attention for sure.

196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 31, 2024, 03:31:08 PM
Hi community,

When we make a bet and put our money on the line, we may lose money, time, and even some daily tasks that we neglect, and the first goal remains to make a quick profit with the largest possible amount of money, but I do not know why some people consider bets to be more  for fun  and a way to spend time than to win money.

Personally, I would consider it fun when my budget is much greater than my losses or when I gamble with someone else's money, and this is something I would not do if I had no benefit in it.

I think there are those who agree with me and those who do not agree with me, but it remains my personal opinion and it's an opportunity to share it with you on this topic.

So where's the fun when you lose your money?

I get your point here for sure since it's not going to be fun at all if you lose some money, especially on gambling right? I mean you want to lose money at all, for sure it is always going to feel great if you gamble and win that gambling and losing your bet for sure. But I think the thing here is staying in control of your gambling as long as you can limit your gambling to a certain amount I guess probably only 100$ in a month you could set that money whenever you lose or win that is only the money you're going to use in gambling.

I mean having fun and getting entertained would depend on your main goal in my opinion for sure you're not going to like it if you lose, but it is because your main goal is to make money or make some profit on it, at least but if your goal is to make fun and get entertain it would surely going to help, I personally gamble because it is fun and entertaining not just for the goal of making a profit, I would just treat it as a bunos if I win because it wasn't really the main goal of it, whenever I lose its not goal to be a good day but in the end, I have some fun with it, I do some sports betting as well, I mean it's my favorite sport I like watching basketball like NBA and betting on it, the thrill of winning and losing what so ever is just entertaining. So it doesn't really matter if I lose or win I always get entertained by it, I wasn't going to get frustrated for sure because I knew the limitations and I set it, and gambling only an amount that I could afford to lose and I could easily recover.
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Noticing sign of gambling addiction before it gets worst on: March 31, 2024, 01:43:16 PM
I think the best sign of it is you starting to encounter a lot of problems, like financially I mean if you have control over it you should not experience any kind of issues or problems playing since you have it under your control your gambling on money that you could afford to lose, I mean even though you lose the game you know your limitations and it's still a calculated risk whatever happened and still entertainment is still on the goal here not just profit.

If you are experiencing financial issues, you are getting frustrated, your chasing your losses or probably your doing things that are not really your thing like for example your running away from your home just to do gambling, you are canceling your work or your career so that you could do gambling it seems not right for sure, Its a pretty good indication or sign that you are getting addicted to gambling, and I think if you are getting addicted to gambling you're surely gonna know it, if I'm addicted to like cigarette I know it on myself that I'm addicted to it, I just cant stop myself to do it, surely most of the addicts wanted to stop but they just cant, its gonna need a long progress, at least some kind of program in order to cure addiction it's already better to seek professional help in order to cure addition.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: March 31, 2024, 10:10:21 AM
I was just playing Hi-Lo, making small dollar bets, if it's 5 number card I select higher card and win, if it's 10 number then I go with 'low' and win.

Then I was greeted with Ace card, minimal possibility for equal card right (i.e, Ace), so I go all in, and guess what happens, the result is Ace means I lost the bet.

Then I have all sorts of thoughts blaming casino, like do they manipulate the result of the game when user goes all in. I am sure they are all fair, it's just that the possibility of losing the game may be minimal but it's never 0.

I would say that it's not actually a bad idea or wrong move at all it was for sure kind of reckless in a way betting everything on one bet, but if you know that you have a higher chance of winning than losing then I would say that its pretty good bet already if you are a risk taker for sure, I mean its a pretty good chance of winning a huge amount with a lower risk of betting, the reward was surely going to be higher than losing, but in case of probability you have higher chance of winning, but you just got unlucky with that and end up losing it all, but I guess you gonna risk it if you want to actually win huge amount.

There are a lot of times that I did it as well and ended up winning, I mean for sure it was kind of fun and entertainment, there were just times that you just don't want to think about it and just do it, most of the time you will end up winning but not every time I guess, but it was kind fun and win at the same time, I would take that risk if it has a higher chance of winning, anyway, I only gamble a small percentage and I limit my gambling habit so if I lose that money then I lose it, I already consider it lost since I used it on gambling, that is why it's only a small percentage so that I could easily recover from it.
199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: March 31, 2024, 09:10:07 AM
It's good to have a source of income at first before you start gambling but I want to talk about this even more, do you know that even with your source of income you might be at one spot and not move forward?

No progression means you are no different from someone who have no source of income, I know someone who work so hard, I mean the hard jobs, that I can't even do, but at the end of the month when he gets paid he always waste everything on gambling, as if something told him that gambling is the way in this world for him.

He can't stop this, he can't help it, he is addicted to this way, I knew this after he start going around asking for things that he should be able to afford as a worker, he confessed that he lost money at first but the same thing kept happening for months and I find out that he is risking all his salary on gambling.

Is there anyway to help this person? I have given some advice to start using small percentage of the whole salary and safe the rest but still couldn't, and I don't want to help him to hold his money for him, he is over 28 years old, not a underage.

He have gotten used to this way because he started gambling all by himself and he won some money but end up even fuelling his addiction. What is next? Any tip?

I get that point having enough knowledge for sure before even starting to gamble but in my opinion, there was some contradictions on it, if you already know it then you know that its going to be better to not gambling at all, or else there was going to be no problem if you are just doing it for entertainment, if your main goal was to earn money then you just don't know what you are doing, ended up like most of the gamblers end up losing a huge amount.

I've said it to a lot of posts and I think the best thing that we could give here is just giving some advice to some people who are addicted to gambling, I mean there was really no way around it since it is his own decision doing this kind of things on her life, even though we say that we should on the use or gamble a certain amount that we can afford to lose it wouldn't really going to matter if he's not willing to do that, or he doesn't apply it to his life.

If you are going to ask me an addict is not going to change his life that easily he we are just going to give him advice like just saying to him to change, it's going to be a long process for sure but it all needs to start with him, Its necessary that he wants to change by himself because if he just doesn't want to change there was no way that he is actually going to change if he doesn't want to. We just needed him to realize it by himself if he realized that he could slowly start making some progress on changing and removing his addiction on gambling.

200  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: March 31, 2024, 07:42:24 AM
The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Sometimes I ask myself why do people get addicted to gambling, is it because they have no understanding or awareness about the addiction of gamble.

I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.

I think if gambling companies can help to giving beginners to understand gambling and addiction it will help and reduce the rate at which people get addicted o gambling, I mean good lesson for people to get understanding.  Or do gambling companies benefit from gamblers who are addicted, which the awareness of getting addicted can affect their business?.

I guess what we can only do is give them a lot of wise advice that they could use, if you're going to think about it there was no actual way really since they could obviously do whatever they wanted to do with their life and money, if they wanted to gamble all of there money its obviously there decision to do it, We could say that do gamble moderately, only gamble a small amount of your salary and limit it. But they could easily just ignore it anyway so there was no actual way. But for sure it is better to give advice so that they will have a basis and guide on what they might follow, than just doing it by themselves and letting them get badly influenced by some people.

For sure if you go gambling without having knowledge on it, you could easily get addicted to it, and get stressed or frustrated if you lose a huge amount of money, but in the end, it is just all of his choices, I believe that it is better to not gamble at all if your reading this, if you could prevent gambling then it is a higher chance not to get addicted to it. Preventing is better all the time.
