181  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 28, 2020, 02:50:47 PM
I don't see it as a threat but rather an opportunity and a development. Cryptocurrencies in order to be recognized and widely use should be accepted not just by some but many or even by all people in this world. In order for it to happen, governments in the very first place should accept it for they will be another for some to accept it as well. If governments will make their own cryptos, it will serve as a basis that cryptos are totally accepted and some may also engage themselves with it. That will give us positive impact in cryptoworld.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: January 28, 2020, 01:17:18 AM
It is simply because the government wants to take control of everything - most especially, money. Government see the threats crypto currencies offer to people using it. Controlling someone's money and assets, the freedom of doing/making their own transactions without tracking of the government. These are some of the reasons why the government bans and does not want their people to use bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving. on: January 28, 2020, 01:01:22 AM
People like me expect increase in the price of bitcoin. With less supply and more demand in the market will make bitcoin pump and surely it will results to more investors to be attracted and invest in it. Hopefully this year will be another year for cryptos just like what happened on the year 2017.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 21, 2020, 07:04:07 PM
many choices, the price is relatively cheaper than bitcoin and the opportunity to make more profit. Maybe there are some benefits if I spend more of my money investing in altcoin and holding it for the long term. But the negative value that I found is that the influence of bitcoin is too big on altcoin until now.
Yes it is relatively cheaper than bitcoin but the high risk in investing in altcoins is that there is no guarantee that it will be successful in the future unlike bitcoin. There are many altcoins out there that hypes in the early start in the market but after months, or years, dumps until it dies and loses its value.
As for the price of altcoins, it will always be affected by bitcoin for it is the basis and the king of all cryptos.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 21, 2020, 06:50:01 PM
Promoting is good, we can do it in our own little ways. But in order to attract and promote to majority of people, we need to have larger, more famous names, organization, etc. Maybe many people know ahout bitcoin now than years ago but still they do not find it interesting for them, and we can't do anything about that anymore.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt and currency reset on: January 21, 2020, 06:41:39 PM
It is possible, that is, if all the government will agree on that. It can be possible to have currency reset and just forget about the debts of everyone, of course it depends on every country, but the nature of a human, we are all greedy and nothing can change that fact. We all want the things we did will be paid off and I think that will be the problem. Some countries may agree to have this currency reset most especially those with big amount of debts but of course the problem will be the creditor. Will they agree on that? Well that's the question that should be answered.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 21, 2020, 06:31:37 PM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
Well I can't say no, but it is possible. Everything takes time and effort in order to be recognized, and I think bitcoin with the altcoins out there are still too far in proving themselves to the world (although I believe that it will happen too, some time). People needs more knowledge in order to accept great things like cryptos most especially the governments of each country for all we know that their acceptance is a must in order for cryptos to be fully used worldwide.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 21, 2020, 06:25:57 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
Well, it is a good idea. You are just making sure that you won't miss the train once bitcoin starts skyrocketing again, which is hopefully to happen soon. If you think the altcoin you're saying doesn't stand a chance to survive in the market and does not have any potential to grow in coming months, well, what you did is like what I've said is still a good idea. After all it's your coin and your decision to make what to do with it. But take note that not all altcoins can't survive and pump in the market. Just a simple reminder.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: January 21, 2020, 06:15:36 PM
I smell something fishy about these countries trying to enter the crypto world. It is good that governments of these countries can see the potential of crypto currencies in terms of its accessibility and service to have a cashless society, but we can't stop thinking that maybe governments of the said countries have their hidden motives in entering and making their own cryptos. They will be able to control it just like what they want in bitcoin that they cannot control.
Anyway if it will help them to lessen the hustle but rather improve the services where these cryptos will be used, it can still be considered as a good idea.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of bounty looks uncertain on: January 20, 2020, 11:47:28 PM
I can say that there are still good projects out there, that is for sure, but it is very few compared to all the projects (ICOs/IEOs) that offers different kinds of products and services. The name of ICOs does not sound good or attract investors anymore, those projects cannot be trusted anymore, thanks to scam projects  Roll Eyes.
Well, right now there are still few good projects that pays good amount, yet you have to make your own research about it.
I still believe in these projects.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: January 20, 2020, 01:06:57 AM
There are now different ways in order to differentiate legit projects from scams. Some people learn to avoid scam projects because of the thoughts and ideas being shared in the forum or even in the internet. As we learn about these things, scammers also think of a way to change their tactics and strategies in order to attract more investors. Scammers change their similarities in strategies and ideas to other project in order to camouflage their true intention, and that is to scam investors.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: January 20, 2020, 12:49:25 AM
I don't think any formula will give us the exact price of bitcoin everytime it changes. It is known that bitcoin is volatile, changing prices everytime - after a second, minute or hour. It is because there are many factors that affect bitcoin's price. Knowing these factors can be a key to know the formula, but it is very hard or can be said as impossible.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 14, 2020, 04:37:10 PM
Such a good idea in order to encourage someone to exercise by just walking and earning money at the same time by doing this. The only thing that lives us wondering is, what will the project developer benefit from this project? I'm wondering if they are Physical fitness trainers that really love to encourage people to exercise, or are they eco-friendly people that love to reduce pollutions in the air by lessening the vehicles used by these people that's why they encourage them to walk rather than riding a vehicle? Well, I don't know. I'm sure project developers will keep this kind of project if it will be beneficial to them.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a bullish sign as halving approaches? on: January 14, 2020, 04:25:08 PM
The market is green and it is a good sign for us. We can see that halving is approaching and the green market can be considered as the start of the bullish market coming. Let's just hope that this is another year for bitcoin as well as altcoins. Let's hope for the best for the market.
195  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Legendary rank achieve!! 💓 on: January 14, 2020, 04:03:19 PM
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 14, 2020, 03:48:46 PM
Holding token/coin for too long and seeing that the market is green yet there is no trading volume of that token/coin in the market is so disappointing and depressing. Such coins can be considered as trash coins and are not worth holding. No such good project will come to that point unless that project failed and are not even true from the very beginning.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: January 14, 2020, 03:13:56 PM
Yes, so true. I also experienced the same things before, I'm giving off my identity to people I don't even know in order to get the rewards/tokens that I worked hard for weeks or months and yet, I don't even receive a good amount of profit or worse, receive nothing but just useless tokens in exchange of my works, so disappointing. And yet, I also joined some campaigns that do not require KYC but they are worth the time and effort. My works on those campaigns are worth it, the payment is good without the need to share my identity.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 14, 2020, 03:04:24 PM
Some altcoins are just a waste of time but I still believe that there are still altcoin projects out there that worth the time and effort. The market is green, thanks to bitcoin halving altcoins are following its trend. I'm sure legit and hardworking altcoin projects out there will not disappoint us again but will rather give us a good amount of profit, hopefully.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving: Does it places an important role in the crypto market or not? on: January 14, 2020, 02:44:12 PM
Of course, halving will positively affect the market. Halving is reducing or cutting the rewards to be given to bitcoin miners, this will result in less supply and more demand also results in increase in price. The effect of halving may last for a long period of time. Many investors will be attracted to invest in cryptos and hopefully, the market will flood green marks for months.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: January 14, 2020, 02:24:29 PM
For me, it is hard and ambitious to think that the world will be run by cryptos, not today or in the near future. First, not all people know crypto, some may know and are aware of it, still some are not educated about it. Even if some wants to educate others, still not all people will understand and will be interested in it. Second, governments will not allow people to use cryptos and not their own currencies. And lastly, it is too risky to use intangible cryptos that may vanish anytime when total power shortage and loss of internet happens worldwide rather than using fiat currencies.
