181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MINERS DIRECT on: May 10, 2019, 02:13:34 PM
On https://www.192.com/busoples/search/ this company is discovered. If they are scammers, they are well get ready. The prices are really good. Maybe they sell stocks of hardware?
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 09, 2019, 12:28:40 PM
Nothing hinders projects doing IEO to delay distribution for bounty hunters. As it was before, distribution can be realized when the price is ridiculous.
It would be more correct to hope for the progress of the projects so that the assets receive security due to the demand.
I sincerely hope that in the foreseeable future there will be at least a few more projects that will work stably, and the demand for their assets will be provided with fundamental reasons.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance hacked. How can this affect altcoin market? on: May 09, 2019, 06:56:08 AM
What about this: https://twitter.com/ProofofResearch
Looks like Binance is playing some game? Do they want to accumulate a few coins on an artificial dump?
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Masternodes/POS the future of mining? on: May 08, 2019, 02:42:23 PM
POS is definitely evolving and has some clear advantages in relation to POW, nevertheless it also have cons...
For me the major downsides of POS are the fact that POS can easily convert into an oligarchy, and that the investment has almost no commitment as you can sell your coins at any moment and just forget about it... on POW you have a structure, hardware... so the network will have a different value...
Anyway, I think the future will reside on hydryb systems that include these two... or maybe on a different protocol, from the new ones under testing...

that was what I was talking about.
POS sometimes just becomes "riches getting richer" while POW has more game theory, you can't simply game it everytime.
of course having more money will help but it's not always the case.
You are talking about potential risks for the POW. Yes this is so. But the main risk for POW and POS is the same: the dynamics of the price of a coin. In addition, the larger the mining company, the more confident it will be to remain in the saddle. In the end, this is the same oligarchy.
When POS is commensurate with POW reliability, the choice will be obvious. It is the matter of time.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: May 08, 2019, 01:43:24 PM
Seeing market slowly recover then it is a good sign that there could be next ATH. So, while crypto is cheap.now, Do you think that it is better to invest now? How ready are you to do it. Are you going to invest all at once or make a succeesion of investment over a period of time.

Please let me know your plans and strategy and how you think you can earn from the market.
I have temporarily stopped investing in the crypto market since December 2018 because of all the failures in ICOS projects including the Bounty hunter job. But at this moment, I recommend joining back in investment because there are many Good signs from Bitcoin bring about when Bitcoin keeps rising continuously.
It's also a good time to buy altcoins due to their lowering price because of BTC growth. Market seems to become bullish so that it may be a very good period to invest before the huge pump.
A huge pump may not come soon (in a couple of years), while BTC will slowly grow, the altcoins will gradually become cheaper, since this is an outflow of money from altcoins into bitcoin/ether. In addition, strong price levels of Bitcoin 6K and Ethereum 200 have not yet been overcome.
So, now is not the best time to invest.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season preparations on: May 08, 2019, 01:38:37 PM
I do not think that now is the right time to transfer funds from leading coins to altcoins. The conversion of money from alts to bitcoin is still taking place. Many of my altcoins are getting cheaper vs bitcoin and ethereum. This may continue for many more months.
According to the charts: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/ it can be seen that the rise in BTC domination is likely to continue.
So, not yet time.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Boom to $100K Will Destroy Altcoins on: May 07, 2019, 07:26:36 PM
Yes, many of my crypto assets from yesterday to today have become cheaper for BTC and ETH. This is repeated every time bitcoin and ethereum rise in value. The trouble is that if the main coins falls, other altcoins are in no hurry to recover.
Apparently, this is one of the ways of dying altcoins.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is still Green this month. What do you think? on: May 07, 2019, 07:15:41 PM
Let these predictions be worth nothing. Many beginners will look at such assumptions and act accordingly. This is a kind of shilling for bitcoin Grin.
Anyway, April was good. If May is the same green (spring eventually Smiley), it will become another brick in an uptrend.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: May 07, 2019, 05:32:35 PM
If there is a desire to mine coins, then I would prefer PoS. Given that the price is declining, it's time to buy a few coins. This will allow to participate in the staking, while it does not need a lot of Veils.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: May 07, 2019, 05:23:38 PM
I do not follow the fundamental indicators of this coin, but the technical indicators are good. The chart LTC vs BTC looks good. Many other altcoins are much worse. I would not worry thanks TA.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese mining motherboards suck! on: May 07, 2019, 04:05:55 PM
Perhaps these were the bends of the motherboard. But among the Chinese boards there are quite decent ones. It should be remembered that even non-chinese brands are often produced in China. Often we pay for a brand produced in the same factory where nameless hardware is produced.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: does the bull market has started ?? on: May 07, 2019, 03:53:24 PM
[cut out]

I think the bull market is still quite far, until $10,000 before i would agree that the BULLS are fully dominant.
I think that one can believe in the beginning of the bull market after confidently overcoming the 6K level. Until november 2018, this level was a support, now it is resistance. A breakout of this level will be a very good sign.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you invest in IEO instead of ICO projects? on: May 07, 2019, 03:51:23 PM
Yes, like many, I would prefer IEO. The fact is that I have been avoiding ICO for over a year. And I do not regret. For many months, I don’t know assets that, at least temporarily, were not sold below ICO prices.
I think that ICO will remain for a long time, but it will remain a playing field for scammers as HYIP.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of the Altcoins that have less than 1(one) satoshi as value on: May 05, 2019, 06:31:10 AM
First of all, you should pay attention to trading volumes. Then find out something about the project activities. In most cases, it is difficult to find any specific information. I think that in the future such assets will die. ->
Scammers are pretty tricky: uncertainty around a project. What does not allow anyone to directly accuse them, at the same time, some investors continue to hope for the best Grin.
Thus, a cheap coin does not mean a lot of potential. Though for some time short-term pump are possible.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coins can my computer mine? AMD A8-6410 on: May 05, 2019, 06:16:08 AM
At one time I tried mining using PC. All I have achieved is the load on the processor, which sometimes prevented me from working at the computer. Perhaps the electricity bill was bigger, but I didn’t notice a significant difference.
For starters, you choose new coins with low complexity; then you still have to buy a minimum of hardware.

But in this case it is easier to simply remain an investor and look for the reasons for your failure. And fix it.
Switching between activities in search of better earnings can hardly get success.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins strategy on: May 04, 2019, 08:09:55 AM
The decline is the right time to buy coins. I think you have to be able to play fast because of the decline and the price increase in this one that happens very fast. The price increase of one block I think has given you enough profit. But you also have to use a lot of capital. I think this kind of opportunity must be used to generate profits.
In itself, a price decline is not a signal to buy. This may be a dying asset. To make a buy decision, I would prefer to use TA and FA.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NPXS time for invest ? on: May 04, 2019, 05:59:42 AM
Given the entire volume of tokens, burning part of the tokens when swaping for f (x) is unlikely to significantly change the situation. One month left to the 11% airdrop ... there will be many who want to sell their tokens.
In the coming months, it is very likely that the price will continue to decline. If the market does not give us a surprise.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Start Mining MIB Coin on your smart phone. on: May 03, 2019, 06:13:48 PM
[cut out]

I can't remember where I read about mib, there was written that the total supply of 600 million. Now there are already 300 million, the rest will be mined.

Absolutely right, the number of coins is very influential from the income that will be earned or the big profits that will be achieved. But if you have big capital and you will feel a big profit.
[/quote]
600 million is not the biggest emission. In the future, such coins may cost about 1 dollar.

Often there is a need for additional charging of the smartphone. For this, even Power bank exists. If you actively use a smartphone during the day, then such mining is hardly possible. Even as low energy compared to bitcoin minein. It can only be at night with recharging. Buy mobile devices specifically for mining? hardly.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: old vs new banking on: May 03, 2019, 02:07:46 PM
For individual countries this is possible. For the whole world it is technically difficult to implement.

This can be a good way to money evolution. But this may not please many categories of people. To do this, everything should be changed. Opinions about wealth, about consumption, about work ... everything is possible that creates the economy and social life of a person.

For such a financial system there is no need to use cryptocurrency. Digital cash can also be centralized.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: May 03, 2019, 01:37:29 PM
I turned on prune mode. I restarted the software and got this error: “Prune mode is incompatible with -txindex”.
Now when I start (v1.0.3.0), I get a window with this error. When I close this window, the main window closes also. There is no possibility to go the settings.
What does it mean? How to disable this mode?

That was your mistake, pruning isn't implemented yet. To reverse open veil.config and remove any line found there then edit bPrune key in registry by setting it to "false" (\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Veil\Veil-Qt).
Thank you very much.
Maybe it looks like nooby, but I did not find veil.config. In the registry, I changed the value to false. Now I can open the wallet. But when loading blocks, the wallet sometimes closes.
Backup made. I will try to reinstall the wallet.
